9701  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The date is very close when Indian government will ban the crypto trading. on: September 16, 2018, 06:36:15 AM
I think it is impossible in India because India is a second high population country and china first place in the world. But china government is ban the crypto trading in many times But peoples are still continuously trade in cryptocurrency. So this is not possible anyway in India.

Yes, China have already made their U-turn but it didn't put a significant dent on the price and I honestly believed that bitcoin and crypto is flowing and Chinese continue to do their trades underground or thru P2P or using VPN to circumvent and stay away from government's prying eye. This will likely happened to India if they decided to tighten their stances against bitcoin/crypto. And we all know that this revolution is unstoppable and there's no way that countries can really put a halt on it. Its a global phenomena that will not likely to die down as most of those countries that are against bitcoin/crypto.
9702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SO MUCH FUD!!! on: September 16, 2018, 01:20:49 AM
Someone with dis-interest is FLOODING this forum with FUD....

Be careful, follow your own research and due diligence, don't listen to clowns!

Does anyone else notice/agree? Preferably no paid anti-bitcoin shills and genuine discussion only.

You have reached Full Membership already, for sure you know that there are a lot of people shilling and spreading FUD. Usually though they keep quiet when bitcoin is on a rise, however, we are in a bearish trend for almost a year now so the barrage of anti-bitcoin sentiments and FUD won't stop. Glad that the network spammers has stop, but those people trying to put down bitcoin? Nah, they will continue to do so until they are satisfied. Its either they wanted to bring it down so that they can buy cheap bitcoins (who doesn't like cheap and bargain?) or they really hate bitcoins because they invested on other coins. So yes, we need to be careful and filter out and read between the lines. The best weapons against them is to DYOR.
9703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / BitGo Becomes Officially Qualified Crypto Custodian in United States on: September 16, 2018, 12:50:57 AM
https://bitcoinnews.com/bitgo-becomes-officially-qualified-crypto-custodian-in-united-states/

Quote
BitGo has received approval from the South Dakota Division of Banking to be a public South Dakota Trust Company. This makes it an officially licensed crypto custodian in South Dakota, and the rest of the United States, because other states generally practice reciprocity when it comes to this sort of license.

What can you say about this news? Good or bad? Will this pump fresh blood on the ecosystem as institutional money will begin to flow? Is this kind of news sort of start a bull run? Share your thoughts.
9704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is the best time to buy ADA? on: September 15, 2018, 03:22:19 PM
Just to be fair, all altcoins have suffered, including the #1 altcoin - ETH. I'm not a fan of ADA but then again, if you are a smart investor, any coin that close or even touch the floor price is a good investment once it regain its value and massive bull run happens breaking its previous all-time-high. So if you really believed then ADA then why not invest today and wait and see how it goes? Gone are the days of bull runs but it doesn't mean that bearish trend is not a good thing for the market. Just remember the early bagholders of bitcoin, they accumulate throughout the years and waited for the perfect time to cash-off, which happens on 2017.
9705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason of dying ethereum? on: September 15, 2018, 02:46:18 PM
ok...everyone knows how deep ethereum is now but my question is WHY?
Is it affected by whole market crash or due to its technical issues?
please run ur mind and find the reason so that it will make clear understanding whether someone should invest or not.
btw i bought 12 eth at 0.02955 btc

No, its not a technical issue or even the fundamentals behind the project. What's keeping the price down is the pressure from ICO projects to sold off their tokens for ETH because they need to recover the cost of their operations. And also bounty participants are cashing out the moment they received their tokens from ICO and couple of EOS dumping, resulting to ETH sudden price free fall. ETH is good for long term, so it you are here for the long haul then stack ETH as this is a golden opportunity not to be missed.
9706  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Mysteries on: September 15, 2018, 07:42:03 AM
Of course the first mystery would be who is the real Satoshi? And then I also have my list of questions.

  • Did he really work for the ABC government agency?
  • Why did he hide?
  • What happened to him? Is he still alive?
  • If he is still alive, will be re-surfaced when bitcoin goes to $1? or $1 million?
  • Are he going to touch his bitcoin?
  • Whales, whales, whales, who are they?
  • Do whales colludes with each other?

Maybe some of them can't be answered, unless someone came up with evidence on his/her hands.
9707  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: COIN MARKET INFO SITE COINARTCAP on: September 15, 2018, 07:22:56 AM
~
He's saying that for him, "Available Supply" means the amount that is remaining to be mined/created (actual circulating supply - maximum supply), while on the website, this indicates the actual circulating supply (the amount of BTC that already exists). It's just a matter of wording.

Exactly, this is how I understand "Available Supply" so for me there is a big difference. Circulating Supply is 17 M while available Supply is ~ 4 M, just saying.
9708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Crypto for Indians? on: September 15, 2018, 07:04:57 AM
Let me tell you what's happening with the cryptocurrency in India, As the Reserve Bank of India is try to ban the cryptocurrency and they are going beyond the limit like threatening the traders to stop trading or else their bank account will be seized and also displaying the ads like "Do not deal with cryptocurrency as it is illegal" but cryptocurrency is not illegal in India as of now because there is a case going on right now and the next hearing will be on 17th September 2018. It's just a sheer abuse of the power by these bankers. Just in case if it is banned then what are all the ways Indians could find a loop hole to use crypto? I think Indians might start trading in cryptos via proxy from a third country and start investing the profits in any of the gulf countries.

I thought India is slowly making a U-turn and softening their stance?

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has reportedly established a new internal unit dedicated to researching and regulating new emerging technologies, specifically cryptocurrency, blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI).

https://www.ccn.com/indias-central-bank-quietly-forms-new-cryptocurrency-blockchain-research-unit/

You just have to look at China, did they totally stop bitcoin or crypto? No, Chinese traders still do trading thru P2P or even bypass internet restrictions, so its going to be hard for India to banish crypto. People are smarter than the government they will do everything to get around like using VPN.
9709  Economy / Economics / Re: Lehman Weekend: The Biggest Bankruptcy in American History on: September 15, 2018, 06:50:43 AM
...[snip]..

How about you guys, you directly affected by it? Do you think that if Lehman was saved by US government, Satoshi wouldn't push to create bitcoin? Or it is inevitable? The man himself will release it with or without the financial meltdown in 2008?

Yes, 3 months after securing a high paying job, suddenly I'm given the pink slip because of the financial woes in the US. I was shocked because I'm disappointed that they have to let us go and to be fair it was the whole team. For me this is likely the last straw for Satoshi to release bitcoin and as @figmentofmyass mentioned there are a lot of reference to the current financial crisis that time.

Satoshi watched the bailouts unfold, as the message on the Genesis block attests: “The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks.” Solving the trusted third party problem must have assumed urgency to him.
9710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo vs. GGG 2 Discussion Thread, WHO YOU GOT? on: September 15, 2018, 06:07:16 AM
Golovkin is more aggressive but Alvarez is much smarter but what i saw with Alvarez that he is getting slower from his previous performance and i am rooted Golovkin for the win, their last match was a controversial and i hope their rematch will truly prevail the real victory.

The added weight may have added problems with Canelo in the beginning because he was a bit slower. Or maybe the steroids allegations is true? You may never know. Well the first match was really controversial but this time, either one of them can be seen as a clear winner. I will also go with Golovkin here, this is his natural weight class and he is the heavier puncher between the two.
9711  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Forum, the only effective medium for crypto and ICO Marketing? on: September 15, 2018, 05:38:37 AM
As far as we've researched ,there are very limited mediums to market and promote cryptos and ICO's ,as the most prominent social media platforms has banned cryptos. This is one of the major causes for lack of acceptance for Bitcoins and cryptos. What do you think ? and what steps should be taken to remedy this situation?

Of course this forum is the best market to any projects related to crypto's and ICO, there's no other forum close as far as community members. Lots of knowledgeable members, you can even find people busting scams left and right. But there are other social medias, like youtube and sort of media blogging sites that you can promote a project. Facebook is also a good platform, I guess you forgot that they already lift crypto ads bans. Remedy the situations? scammers can't be stop, what we can to protect ourselves is DYOR and used common sense.
9712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does anyone gamble in race sports? on: September 13, 2018, 11:03:06 PM
I am not gambling in the race sports but one of my friends gamble in race sports and he told me that it's difficult to collect the information about each team or player if we don't know where we need to go. but the chance of winning is wide open because as long as we can collect valid information from many sources, we can win the bet and make a big money especially if we are sure with the prediction. but yes, he has a bad experience in the race sports because, at that time, he missed something that is important and makes he lost.

From the place I lived in, every horse day, you can buy horse racing tips program at a cheap price and you can do your own analysis based on that program. Even newspapers carry a tip program as well. There's even facebook group and other social media as well, so there's a lot of source. My problem though is the more tips and source I look at, the more I have a difficult time to pick my choice, so many variables and commentaries from different horse affionados that sometimes it better not to look and listen to them but just do your own analysis.
9713  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: COIN MARKET INFO SITE COINARTCAP on: September 13, 2018, 10:17:50 PM
If I may add another comment, Should it be Circulating Supply and not Available Supply?

If you look at Bitcoin: Available Supply: 17.27 M BTC, which is wrong in my opinion. Available supply is less than 4 M BTC as far as I know. Can someone clarify that?
9714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why everyone becoming the holder? on: September 13, 2018, 09:35:02 PM
Yeah, I would have to agree that at this bear market, there's no point in holding. That's why as the game evolved or the sentiments change, you should also adjust your trading strategy. People are shouting holding specially last year because the market is in the bull session. But things are different now, if you investment this year, then no way you should be holding. Specially if you believed that shitcoins has future, Lol, better dump them so not to suffer a negative portfolio. On the other hand, in the case of bitcoin, you really need to observed how the market sentiments is playing, a quick 10% profit is not bad at all if you are a day traders, just saying.
9715  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Dedication needed to support crypto community? on: September 13, 2018, 09:13:31 PM
1.Knowledge on crypto currencies, wallets, blockchain and etc

Of course this is a must. Its like going to war without tanks, soldiers. You need to be prepared.

2.Need to be more communicative with clear information.
3.Initiate when needed to share Advises / opinions to enhance the community
4.Get updated with new crypto updates and news and
5.Share the same with the community

What do you think on it? Any other points to share here?

It sums up to communication. If there's one thing I want to add, perhaps noobs needs to be careful as well. Do their due diligence and used their common sense. And not to listen to FUD otherwise, its going to be a nightmare for them and then might lose a lot of money and lost their interest in crypto.
9716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The change in the trend of bitcoin. on: September 13, 2018, 08:52:26 PM
Dear friend! in your opinion, at what level will bitcoin change from a bearish trend to a bullish one? I think 8000 and you?

I disagree with the $8K mark as the indication that we are going bullish. Its really hard to say which price. We have a lot of arguments month back that bitcoin won't go below $10K and we did and we are struggling to get to 4 digits again. So the big mental barrier is the 4 digit mark, if we surpassed it and then like become stable and sustainable then most probably we can see the the trend shifting from  bearish to bullish sentiments.
9717  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC TO 3K$ on: September 12, 2018, 11:53:27 PM
If bitcoin goes to $3K, then I'm buying more and will wait till after the next block halving. Lol.
Theoretically its possible, but then again, this is the perfect opportunity that everyone is waiting for a long time, so sooner or later we are going to see a nice breakout run again. So it really doesn't matter, only those affected are complete noobs who thinks that bitcoin will be dead if the price goes below $6K.
9718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know which coin is more stable for day trading on: September 12, 2018, 11:34:20 PM
Current price for top 20 coins are decreasingly a lot. Before doing crypto currency, I understand that there is the way to get the profit whatever market is up or down. What the current situation is price for bitcoin or altcoin are up for a bit only. Then, it is down for too much.

I feet that trading is more from auto bot. They block the way. Then, it is disappeared. Also share with us what is your safer way for day trading? Are you looking at 30 minutes or 1 hour chart before you start the trading? Is there any way to know that which coin is more stable for day trading? Thank you.

Well I considered bot as one of the main problems during the last crashed. I mean when traders uses it and leave it overnight and set up their parameters, so bots can manipulate the price and by placing orders which accounted for the most shorts or day trading. As for your questions regarding which coins is stable for day trading, I doubt you will find one, perhaps you can go to https://coinmarketcap.com/gainers-losers/ and see which coins are currently hot and being pump, and if you want to join them its your choice.
9719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Walmart Sells Bitcoin at $1 on: September 12, 2018, 10:44:43 PM
Yeah, it's clearly a marketing ploy designed to give kids yet another reason to pester their parents to buy them chocolate, heh.  That said, it wouldn't surprise me at all if the tactic pays off and this food manufacturer see a sales uplift because of it.  But if it does raise even a little bit of awareness for the future generations, there's no harm in it.

Exactly, its a creative marketing ploy and I 'm sure that kids will see bitcoin as not as scary as their parents  know them in the first place (if their parents is aware what bitcoin is, rat poison as per W.B.)

And it the long run, this kind of propaganda will stick to the kids mind and who knows, by the time they are old enough, we might see some of them turn into a investor.  Smiley
9720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 09, 2018, 11:11:09 PM
I was not expecting serena to lose her cool like that. I mean I can understand her loosing a match because after all she is a human and osaka played amazingly and that type of upset happens all the time and there was a lot of people saying she may lose however I did not expected serena to go crazy and have a fight with the umpire, it was awkward to watch let alone be part of that, umpire must have felt so weird when he saw serena loose her cool with him and go crazy.

I mean she yelled I am a mother about a coaching call, what does that have to do with anything. I know she is the greatest of all time but she needs to learn how to lose gracefully.

I feel bad for Osaka, she deserved much more. It was probably the biggest moment of her young life and we should be talking about her play and victory and not about drama queen Serena. Yes, Serena is the best player of all time but yesterday Osaka was simply better and I feel that player with as much experience as Serena should have put the lid on her emotions and let the Osaka take all the glory and enjoy her great achievement.

Totally agree, her tantrums inside the court took away the history that Osaka did for tennis and for her country. Not sure what Serena acted that way specially in the finals. There's too much drama in tennis already, but I guess the women took the limelight this year and Serena takes it to the next level. She would have been the greatest in this era, but with that kind of attitude, I don't know its going to be debatable when she retires.
