9721  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: October 11, 2016, 07:19:22 PM
Greetings all. I'd like to know what you would do if your bitcoin did one of the following, as I am a little confused about what I'll do myself...

What would you do if:

Bitcoin hit $1,000,000:
Bitcoin hit  $1,000 again:
Bitcoin stayed where it was:
Bitcoin became worthless, or a few cents:
And which of these do you think is most probable?

Thanks for your opinions,

 -Lags
If Bitcoin became one million $ then I'll buy myself a flat and I'll buy a flat for my great professor. If it stayed where it was or hit 1000 than I would like to give the money I earned to my children. I am planning on keeping some money I am going to earn here within years and then give it to my kids when they grow up (turn 18).

Transactions need to be faster. can't have this hold up. Other currencies will take over?
What is wrong with transactions? Are there any faster transactions than Bitcoin ones? I am not sure whether it is the same to everyone.. Maybe it depends on the amount of money or something else, but my transactions take about a minute or two. Why is it that I see people often complaing that transactions are not fast enough?
9723  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Lemonade for Bitcoins? on: October 11, 2016, 07:10:16 PM
Well, sounds quite nice and funny. But a hodling person might end with lot's of bitcoins but no use of them, because one day it might be not that easy to exchange them to dollars.
And I guess people who buy some old tables, wardrobes and all that don't really know about Bitcoin.
9724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin died tomorrow on: October 11, 2016, 07:04:49 PM
What would you do?
Move onto another coin?
Cry all day long?
Throw your computer in the pool?
Eat 100 bananas?
Eat 100 bananas sounds nice to me Cheesy But if to be serious, I think I will just spend a few hours contemplating and trying to think of my possible further options. I have about 10$ in Bitcoin now, so it won't really be a huge loss for me. I guess I'll try to move onto litecoin then or something else which is strong and popular.
9725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: October 10, 2016, 05:59:42 PM
IMO, gambling isn't wrong. As well as any other thing of human life isn't wrong. To be more precise, it can be as wrong as right. It mostly depends on humans. Things have no their will, people have one, which can be good or bad.
Hence gambling (or any other thing) could be wrong, if it is done by a person with bad (perverted, nonrational) will (for instance, nonrational will of gambler leads to losses and addiction). Could be right, if it is done by a person with good (health, rational) will (rational will saves fun and game character of gambling). Also it could be neutral, neither right nor wrong, if it has no relations to human (or to some human from his/her position).
9726  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: October 10, 2016, 05:45:01 PM
Bitcoin and my country is a sad story. I guess of all the people I personally know only about 5 use bitcoin. Another 10 might have heard about it. I am not sure for what they use it but unfortunately it is not really possible to use it for many things here. Exchanging it is a hard thing and of course very unprofitable. There are no banks, institutions or shops which accept it. I think bitcoin is out of the law here. Not in the sense that it is forbidden but in the sense that it is not mentioned anywhere.
9727  Economy / Speculation / Re: I will not Die Untill Bitcoin will reach at Least 50K on: October 10, 2016, 05:38:14 PM
Okay, we understand that Bitcoin is unstable and that it used to be 10$ and 1000$. However, I don't think there are many people who believe that Bitcoin will cost more than, say, 1000$ in 10 years. I don't believe it as well but I hope that you are right in your predictions  Wink
9728  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you already become a USD millionaire through Bitcoin? on: October 10, 2016, 05:34:27 PM
My goal is to earn about 150$ BTC, so that I could rent a flat together with somebody. I haven't reached even this goal but I think I might get close to it some day. I am not intending to become a USD millionaire. I am just a person from a poor country, so I want to have money to be able to live a normal life and partly this money can be earned in Bitcoin.
9729  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: October 10, 2016, 05:30:43 PM
I don't think Bitcoin is able to replace dollar. At least, not in 15 years or so. American dollar has more than 200 years of history. Of course, our world is changing faster and faster. Maybe, Richard Avenarius was right that people optimise knowledge and method of cognition, so that development fastens. But still, 15 years won't be enough.
9730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: October 06, 2016, 07:12:21 PM
I think that kids are getting smarter and smarter. A three-year-old child can make photos and play games on iPad. For children nowadays there is no much difference between paper money any any other kind of money. They see that money can also be on a credit card. And maybe it is just not necessary to explain to them in which ways is Bitcoin different from credit cards as long as they can realize how to use it.
9731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the primary lessons you earn after you gamble? on: October 06, 2016, 07:08:25 PM
The rules I propose sound like this:
1. Set limit on days and hours per days before starting to gamble.
2. Set the strict sum of money you are going to use during gambling.
3. Once you win - always withdraw the money you just one.
4. Never try to explain yourself that in this situation it is okay to break one of the rules above.
9732  Other / Off-topic / Re: What can i do with 3 Bitcoin? on: October 06, 2016, 07:04:01 PM
I realize it might be too late already but I would advice not to do this thing. It is too risky and you shouldn't try investing money. Because this way you may keep investing and investing all the time and when is it the time to start spending this money?
9733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Controlling your temper in gambling on: October 06, 2016, 07:01:52 PM
Here are my guidelines on how you control your temper when you are gambling. This will help you a lot to not be addicted in gambling.
1. If you are playing gambling set a goal or a profit goal so that you will not be greedy at the end. Greediness turn you to be a loser.
2. Playing twice a week or thrice week makes you feell better and lucky because you are in the greedy mode.
3. Small amount of capital in the game which play bombs like satoshimine makes you in a chance of winning because it is easy to double your money into that game.
4. High amount of capital in the dice makes you advantage note that your initial is his your house makes it sufficient to win the game.
Some of these rules sound nice. Especially, the first one. However, I think that we need rules which are orientated not on winning but on not losing too much. Gambling causes strong addiction. So I would add a rule of setting a capital which is okay to lose and not taking more money than planned ever. And if you bet and win - withdraw the money on which you bet. At least, this way you may save the money which you had before gambling.
9734  Other / Off-topic / Re: What did you already bought with Bitcoin? on: October 06, 2016, 06:56:55 PM
I don't have much money in Bitcoin yet. However, I was thinking about buying a miner but still I don't think it is very profitable. So, the money I earn in Bitcoin I exchange to local currency and buy something like food on it.
9735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: which dice site is better ? on: October 05, 2016, 06:44:08 PM
I you ask personally me, I prefer only and only primedice. Because primedice is a brand, it's popular and you can freely talk. Also their design so colorful and light, I love it. I don't want even see other dice sites. But yet, even primedice I accepted only as a game site. It is foolish, as for me, to try make profits from any dice sites. Especially from primedice, which was created for fun, not for business.
9736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need bustabit advice on: October 05, 2016, 06:36:07 PM
Stop throwing away money on this and start doing something more useful!
There is no in gambling such staff as 'investion'. You can invest money in it, you can actually throw them away. Stuff, in which people should invest money, is perpetual and planned - something that called as a bussiness. Gambling is not business, it game of luck.
And yet, in gambling there always will be bad days in a long perspective. You just can take 'a god day' without the whole perspective, from which you have actually lost a lot more.
9737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: October 05, 2016, 06:18:40 PM
Apart from method at the beginning you need methodology as well, which are principles on with you are going to build method later. And yet I think that even with having all these things you mention there will remain a high probability risk of losing money doing trading.
9738  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: October 05, 2016, 06:14:50 PM
I think that Bitcoin has no direct connection to dollar. This means that we will just get used to say how much is Bitcoin in Euro or something like this. Even if it makes some influence I think this will be an indirect positive influence, because people may start to believe in new money, seeing that the old one is dying.
9739  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are you doing with Bitcoin? on: October 05, 2016, 06:09:59 PM
I think that Bitcoin is very perspective but it is still hard for me to rely on it. That is why I earn Bitcoin by working for Signature campaigns and then try to exchange it to my local currency. I wouldn't have done that if it was possible to use Bitcoin to buy food in supermarkets, for instance.

If somebody doesn't recieve an answer does it mean that he/she is not accepted?
