9761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: June 13, 2017, 03:34:18 AM
The fact is that you can carry any amount of bitcoins in your wallet and on one would be aware about it and no one can rob you or steal your money which is generally the case with fiat money especially if you are carrying a higher amount.

I don't see any sense here. Both are prone for stealing no matter what.

In case of fiat, is majority of the people will bring millions on their pocket on the way? The security of fiat or bitcoin depends on the user itself and can't just be blame by intentional act. So for that kind of thing, I see that isn't a big reason for people to prefer bitcoin over fiat.

Lots of penetration and no contested shot to the defense of Lebron James. Both examples are he allows Andre Igoudala to just freely dunk in front of him. I think it happened twice.

Second half now and the Golden State Warriors lead is playing around 10 points. Currently at 90-84 GSW.
9763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: June 12, 2017, 08:17:35 PM
So if BTC goes to $10k, $100k or even $1mil it's to be expected that the fees will go way up? To me it feel ok for now to pay the fees we have now but as more new money's pouring in and as we get more transactions, where will that leave the fees, does anyone have an idea?

Yes even not with the amount in bitcoin but in the USD value of itself. Right now 200,000 satoshis is around $5, if bitcoin price will increase more that 200,000 satoshis will be more worth in USD value any maybe can become $50 in the future.

So if the bitcoin amount fee will rise too while having a high USD value then you can really say that price is extremely horrible and ridiculous.

Im a long time sports enthusiast and also a regular sports bettor. I want to check the feature of your sports betting site for references.

Registered now the same as my username here.

-edit- Nice you also have our local basketball game there for tomorrow.

Nice! Bonus granted. Enjoy the games!  Cool

I go All-in with the PLM lol. Smiley

My feedback:

-Odds are good and close to the average odds on other sportsbook sites.
-Interface is also good. Not heavy to load a page.

My suggestions:

-Please add "My Bets" or something like that to the drop down menu on our Username to locate our bets easily
-Please add more betting Options in the future especially in Basketball Games
9765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All cryptocurrencies vallue dropping fast atm on: June 12, 2017, 07:10:34 PM
Some altcoins are trying to climb up slowly. I see Green already at some.

Looks like most of the traders triggered their automatic buying price target. Bitcoin is on the way now too on slow movement. No way a recent price drop like that will ruined the price rally of bitcoin. For those weak hands who joined the party of drops, feel sorry for them.

TIME TO TAKE A BREAK ITS TIME TO UNWIND AND MAKE SOME FUN

Oh my. Another thread again of Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors.

You just take a break today? During just on Finals? We are always taking a break whenever there is a NBA game and much more if Playoffs have been started and following all the way to finals. Less than 7 hours before the tip off. Can't wait to watched it.
9768  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you get in now? current price approx 2700 on: June 12, 2017, 05:50:00 PM
I can get in whatever the price value as long as I have spare funds or I feel it.

There is no such thing as exact price to considered buying. A $1,000 value of bitcoin in the past is worth doubled now meaning every price level can be a cheap price even they are considered as high price in the past, so it's possible even at $3,000 and so on. It was proven many times starting from $300 up to now that high price today can be low price in the future. Well it was expected after all since bitcoin's commencement of operations.
9769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All cryptocurrencies vallue dropping fast atm on: June 12, 2017, 05:27:14 PM
What is happening with the cryptocurrncy market right now, all altcoins and bitcoin are dropping in price very fast.
What could cause such a thing, just look at coinmarketcap and poloniex, they are all in red :S. Whats happening?Huh

Just watched it and don't panic. If you can't take it or can't handle the stress while watching the green and reds, logout on cryptocurrency world for the moment and back later. No reason at all for bearish activity, it's a trigged dump and it was a success.

Wait for it to slow down and soon it will reached the correction price. Then considered buying at that level. Dropping fast can be covered soon by fast increase so take that advantage rather than to be worried.

Stephen Curry and co rested through that game and are ready for the kill tomorrow. There's not going to be a repetition like last year but a total ass whooping in game 5.
Its very obvious game 4 is just like an all star exhibition game between GSW and CAVS lol..gsw did not totally play 100% of their best performance they can play well see it in game 5 its a total action in both sides..

I disagree. Look at their reaction on each little bit error on call. Too many fights on the court and technical foul called on that game. Is that the game of not being serious. OFC they are both serious that's why they are easy to pissed off. Cavs shows heart on that game. That's all. Thanks to kyrie irving for saving the cavs for being sweep.

I disagree as well and agree to your response. Golden State Warriors are eyeing for a sweep because it was more historical than winning a 4-1 lead. Klay Thompson also stated in the post game interview last Game 3 that he wants to sweep the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cavaliers just get the momentum on the early phase of the game. If we are a fan of one team, you can't really see the whole picture of the game that's why fans are biased towards each other.

Warriors must do anything to sealed this game at Game 5. If Cavaliers will go back to Ohio, chances for Durant's ring will not happen this year even the Game 7 will be played at the Bay.

I think they will do anything in their power to sealed Game 5 and win the championship. They don't want the Cavaliers to gain the momentum in they won game 5 because they are going back to their homecourt. I still believed  that this is Durant's year to win the ring, and Golden State will be the champions for this year. Steph Curry will not let this game slip away, he has poor performance last game and I think he will better this time. Klay Thompson will also play good and will support both Curry and Durant in scoring. I think this will be a blow out games for the Golden State Warriors.

It's a must and they should.

Like I said in the NBA discussion thread, Game 5 will be the turning point to all, for Golden State Warriors is to win and for Cleveland Cavaliers to gained momentum til Game 7. Game 7 if ever will bring more pressured to the Warriors thinking Durant must force a ring and to dodge critics about blew a 0-3 lead. While Warriors will do all, expect also some good performance from the Cavaliers. Im really expecting this will be a closed match.
9772  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 12, 2017, 04:18:20 PM
Wetsuit created a thread somewhere about users must post their winnings there. As far as all my readings there is concerned, I don't see a great numbers out of that great numbers won the big amount. Wetsuit encouraging them to post proofs. How hardheaded that 1000+ winners not to post their winning proofs lol.
Yeah we are bunch of unlucky folks here. Smiley
Some time ago I saw this thread and it is true that not many winners reveal there, but you must remeber, that Bitcointalk is mostly in english, and there is hundreds of forums in other languages where people publish referral links and bring users to claim satoshi. I'm sure that most of freebitco.in users don't even know that bitcointalk exist. Wink

I don't agree. They not encounter bitcointalk.org while they are in bitcoin world even for a long time? Ok let's say yes but can we say that all of the winners don't know bitcointalk exist? That is thousand winners and currently 106 first prize winners based on the computation by one of the user here and not even one of them claim they won the first prize?

Ok stick to that kind of belief.

yeah that could be possible, but if they are btc fans, sooner or later they will find this forum, beacause that was how i started, in frebitco.in, and pretty sure that all the winners if there are any out there, have some time around btc world, so they should have found this site. it is what i think

Exactly and likely I will agree. Anyways we don't have anything to do here since admin itself doesn't have a strong stand to that issue.
9773  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: June 12, 2017, 03:54:24 PM
Bitcoin is a blessing to some of us here. We can testify, how since the beginning of this year that, we have make alot of return on our investment in bitcoin. I foreseeing bitcoin touching $4,000 before the end of October this year. Hope you join us in this less risk investment.
It could possibly happen but less likely in many scenarios. Because I cam imagine that people holding at this point are already lining up to sell all their Bitcoin position. What I mean about that is if Bitcoin enters the 3000$ level we would see many people including big players to sell in this price range resulting into another correction. If my recollection is right this had happened to the 1000$ level and 2000$ level as well.

Disagree. We already reached close to $3,000 before it was corrected and now you are expecting to corrected again at the same level? If correction will take placed again, it should on around $3,500 above or closed to $4,000. No way majority of big holders will sold their coin at the moment since we aren't yet in bear market. It's just wasting opportunities and as if those big holders can pull the price even they sold their coins. It needs lots of dumps to triggered a bear market which is unlikely will happened to the current price.

I might wrong here but this was the thing I can see that is close to reality.

9775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: June 12, 2017, 02:50:49 PM

japan has already accepted bitcoin as legal currency. and now the other countries may be thinking about it. i am sure that the minors issues related to bitcoin will be solved very soon. and very soon bitcoin will be the first choice of the people.

If minor then surely it will solved soon but take actions also to major issues like the scaling problem. For bitcoin to be the most powerful currency in the future, we should not spend more fees when transferring bitcoin to an outgoing address since in the first place, bitcoin was made not as the same as how fiat transaction is. The current fees today are almost identical now to other payment method with regarding to fiat and soon it will reached the amount we never expect will happened. Aside from fees is the speed of transaction or referring to confirmation time.

For now, that is my concern about things that under the major issues of bitcoin that needed to be resolved.
9776  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: June 11, 2017, 11:49:15 PM
For me bitcoin is the fastest transaction ive ever known unlike cash. You can pay your bills in bitcoin. And if the currency will rising up its very nice if you have btc because the money you keep is become bigger not like cash. You can keep your cash but as the days pass by the cash that you hold is loosing.

Lols..let's stop with the snorting around here

Cash is instant payment. You give a bill receive a few coins back and you're off.
I can pay with cash faster that I can unblock my phone sometimes Smiley.

Probably you're just post hunting but still, stop with the crap.

Right now bitcoin is faster than bank transfers between different banks.
That's all. And it not bitcoin's fault it's just that other payment methods have evolved too.

And with the current status of bitcoin network today, soon there will be no different in terms of speed between bitcoin transactions (using the standard fees) and bank transfers between different banks.

For references, bank to bank transfer here is instant and just one second click away via online banking. For transfers between different banks, the average is 6 hours with cheaper fees about an average of $0.05. My recent bitcoin transaction cost $3 and I wait for 4 hours. See the comparison here? Really making a sense.

9778  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: June 11, 2017, 11:01:44 PM
More people are actually embracing Bitcoin not necessarily because of the price, but because it meets their needs much more than their local currencies could and these increase in demand as Econs (101) stipulates turns around to shore up the price. That is the case from Mexico to Venezuela, India, etc and it has absolutely nothing to do with people quitting their jobs.

Agree. One good example here is the game credits. There is a so called website called mol.com where game credits are being bought there. The payment method available on our country seems hassle way since we fiats must transfer here and here. With bitcoin payment using a third party services, buying there can now done within just a seconds only. Less hassle isn't it.

And my stated example is just one of good thing that can be used with bitcoin payment. The purpose is the transaction and not because the bitcoin price is high.

Thanks for the response. All are noted and it's an obvious thing in the first place to use 2fa.

Like I said, Im not new to this security thing and knows above average ways. Im not downloading any tools online. How will keylogger will reached me? I don't use my phone all the time when accessing any wallets app. I done mostly transactions at desktop browser.

Anyways what Im trying to point here is, where those fraudsters get the Coinbase email database? And I hope someone from those IoS users will respond if whenever they are trying to access their Coinbase app there, it's usual that IP and country are not included in the authorization email?
