Wow, such cruel. Everything fell apart after Chelski's defence got sloppy to give away the penalty, and then once Pulisic left the field, it was never going to come back.

Then Sampdoria allow themselves to sing out with a draw. And then we got yesterday's double header totally wrong. Boom.

We got a special today though, Rangers won the first game of the season, and I was wondering if we don't just kick the day off with a weird Hamilton Academic upset at Celtic? Never going to happen but since I like throwing money away.

@boltz well he already knew he couldn't catch it before the game, Sarri wanted to rest him for CL I made the mistake of betting on Juve too early before the news... and I also lost the Lazio game oh well.

@Flagship11 ah I always assumed these bets were returned as soon as the person they bet on didn't play (otherwise they wouldn't put out markets on so many players when obviously only 14 (or now 16) can even take to the field.

Multi Magic not off to a good start (thank you very much Sampdoria) but anyone else joining the new challenge on SB? Just opt in on promotions, wager 5mbtc daily on live casino. Not sure what else to do but I'm playing for sure if I can get my connection not to drop me on live.

Sancho to Man Utd @1.13
Coutinho to Arsenal @1.50

Coutinho to Arsenal really? I know they're considering but he's not precisely their style I'd say. Sancho to United's been in the mill long enough so yeah, I think time to settle it if you're a united fan for 11/10 haha!

£40M for him sounds like way too much money, looks like Man City want to outbid all the teams that are keen on the CB

Fair enough, before lockdown I get it, but I still think that's too much in the current scenario, plus they just got fined 10 mill. Guess Blues coffers are fuller than I thought.

I think he'll fit perfectly in the Ligue 1 and PSG's style, he's like a less defensive-minded version of Verrati in terms of passing and vision, plus he's not used to a fast-paced football like the EPL so it could take him a bit longer to adapt in Liverpool

Yeah we'll all remember how long it took for Fabinho to even acclimatise physically to English football, never mind Liverpool's intensely high pressing. I'd prefer more strike options than more midfield, certainly some cover at the back so Thiago's not a priority for me.
9764  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Capital intensive + scalable/"easy" investments (Digital/remote nomad friendly) on: August 01, 2020, 05:04:40 PM
Lol these "investment" instruments are the last thing you should look at when looking for "scalable/easy". Those are merely gambling(yes, even stock options). If you want something easy, probably take a look at dividend investing. Though of course, "easy" investments mostly tend to give the lowest returns. There's no such thing as a safe/easy investment that at the same time gives high yields.

Agree that he shouldn't be looking for easy and scalable. You always get what you ask for (easy) but never want you actually want (safe).

I slightly disagree that the options he mentioned are gambling though. I'm not a fan of these DeFi platforms like Compound he mentions, but yeah, you are only slightly better off using them than going to the casino, mainly because the funds are not necessarily safe in those platforms, and the tech securing them aren't mature enough in my opinion.

P.S. I have actually now tried one of those platforms (Nexo) with a small amount. Hell of a risk.
9765  Economy / Speculation / Re: A move (almost) no one is expecting: gap at $11795 on: August 01, 2020, 04:00:26 PM
So it took almost 2 months for OP's call (or rather, over 1 month late to reach his 11795) to take shape but it does look like it could be happening after all? Or not? I actually don't see the pullback to 7k happening anymore now as that ascent isn't as steep as it should have been. If there's a pullback, it may take 13k to trigger now.
9766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Network fee is killing my small profit on: August 01, 2020, 02:23:44 PM
You're trading though, so you're not incurring any fees until you actually withdraw the money. The fee you pay also isn't Bitcoin's miner fee but the trading platform's own fee for withdrawal. So you're angry at the platform not Bitcoin.

And you knew all this already anyway before you started trading. So what's the problem here?
9767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter Hacker Arrested! on: August 01, 2020, 12:12:50 PM
Couldn't find anything but was there any additional info on if they were also linked to the IG post that claimed they were going to send all the money to charity? Not that it changes anything, but I might have a slightly (tiny) improved opinion of the guy(s) if they really did go on and send some of that money out to a charity. Not that cryptoforhealth.com is up to see what is said.

Hey Uneng, will you be able to design a Telegram sticker that I or anyone can then edit (just text most likely) in Canva (it's free and very easy for me and others to use)? I already have the colour schemes and fonts.

What would your rate be for this? I see someone else above (Maus) post and I'm happy to see guys on this forum can find some honest work here.

9769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 01, 2020, 09:32:58 AM
Better luck next time and if you stick to making an acca of those favorites on an average odds @1.3 to @1.5 , you'll hit something one day , just do the math . I've been in that position..

Juventus vs roma
Atlanta vs inter
Lazio vs napoli

Tough choices 😄

Not my style as I said to take on those 1.3 to .5 type of games (except if I'm just "padding" a parlay with a team I'm actually following like Liverpool, and it has worked a lot the past 2 seasons haha). But anyway yes no surprise I've taken some bets on exactly those selections.

No value on over 2.5 goals, all the bookies upped it to at least 3.5 in all those games, neither BTTS. I've liked Roma a lot but I suspect Penaldo will get some joy today. Atalanta also my favourites but I think Inter got lucky last game vs Napoli and will want to screw it on tight this one.

Lazio, my heart says them but Napoli could actually be tired out from the loss against Inter, but then again all teams are tired now.

Parlay on these 3 teams, whichever you take is around 10/1!
9770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: August 01, 2020, 08:30:44 AM
Eff me. I forgot to put my picks in yesterday and now I guess some of the Friday games already played out.

Good luck to you guys, I've got some massive parlays also going on with Serie A and of course the FA Cup final. I'm a neutral in this one so the more goals the merrier for me. SB's got a Giroud header any time for 65/10 if anyone's interested, and with the kind of form he's in, he's for sure got a goal in him. Just not too sure about headers!

I caught a good 2.65 odds on Juve, but Lazio to win right now at about 2.7 also tasty.

Tough games!

I actually now feel weird about choosing Inter yesterday but never mind, I'm going to tag on another simple parlay. Juve to give Ronaldo a last shot, and Lazio to give themselves a rousing game. Caught fantastic odds on Juve but shitty ones on Lazio haha.

Game 1: Juventus vs Roma. Juve WIN @2.65. Betcoin odds: 2.20
Game 2: Napoli vs Lazio. Lazio WIN @2.39. Betcoin odds: 2.70

Has anybody here already mentioned City interest in Nathan Ake? I think it is really good deal for both clubs. It seems the offer is 45 M and Bournemouth already accepted it. Nice amount of money for Cherries to survive a season in lower league while City gets another promising central back to fill their most critical position. Can't link the article since I read it in local paper.
yeah this rumour made it to the front page of every major english newspaper yesterday. Here's a link:

Nathan Ake: Bournemouth accept £41m Manchester City bid for defender (source)

I bet most ppl don't even know who this guy is, hell, i can't even remember an outstanding performance from him this season, but hey, if Pep wants him is probably because he saw something special in him, no? (good ball control? good passing? idk...)

I know of him and probably because his name stands out but yeah, I could not say I've ever read about how impressive or promising he is. Then again, a lot of other people would have said the same about Robertson, or even Henderson 10 years ago. Pep says, City does.

That is a LOT of money in this current situation though!

Could have sworn I said my congratulations on to all the winners, so well done it is here proper, don't want anyone to think I'm such sourgrapes now do I? Throwing money every season for here and Champs League haha.

And toke, guess you feel good about losing all the sidebets now because you won the big one eh?

Oh but yes, looking forward to Europe, where I actually HAVE a shot at prizes. Almost similar there, 1st place already very assured, and with the reduction of games, even more so, didn't make calculations yet.

Juventus took us right out of that marvellous parlay, but Aarhus did us a favour by keeping our one parlay alive on Saturday's Chelsea game yes! Can't wait to nab 11/1 when Chelski wins that one hahaha.

Anyway, simple one for tomorrow and Sunday's final Serie A games, using up our freebet:

Game 1: Brescia vs Sampdoria. Sampdoria WIN @1.49. Betcoin odds: 1.48
Game 2: Atalanta vs Inter. Inter WIN @2.85. Betcoin odds: 2.83
Game 3: Milan vs Cagliari. Milan WIN @1.35. Betcoin odds: 1.34
Game 4: Spal vs Fiorentina. Fiorentina WIN @1.48. Betcoin odds: 1.48

Well, not to Uganda, but as much as that would explain part of my assumption, I could have just changed the position and zoomed in a bit.
This is so f**** embarrassing  Grin

This is like the Hot Shots parody, I've mistaken a facility for developing skills for a prison..., triple-quadruple facepalms  Grin

Lols, no worries. I had a bit of a culture shock myself when I first came to Europe. You point at a skills development centre that you thought was a prison, well I've seen a prison in Europe that looks like a library. So fair, we all have new things to see in the world haha.

Hot Shots, oh man. But yeah, I'm going to scout out the BATMs near me again some time next month, curious to see what new KYC requirements will be on there;)
9776  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your plan when Bitcoin will reach a new ATH? on: July 31, 2020, 07:27:39 AM
Generally, I've always said that my plan for Bitcoin is bound to an objective that's either time-bound or price-bound. This means I have a set price I'd liquidate a majority of my BTC or a fixed time, whichever comes first.

Now, I don't see this new ATH reaching the price-bound target (it's not a ridiculous target and most high-end predictions surpass it), so I still see myself actively Bitcoining for at least 8 more years haha.

Be nice to be proven wrong about price-bound target. I'd liquidate the BTC, get myself and family fixed for a home to own each, some money to live comfortably and modestly, while doing the things I love to do (I actually still want to work!), leave the rest of my BTC to children to teach them to use it.

And continue trolling the forums for the rest of my natural life, for as long as it gives me joy.
9777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: African bitcoin ATMs on: July 30, 2020, 08:29:01 PM
Trading is for making money.
ATMs are for losing a good chuck for it in the name of privacy.
How many people do you think to give a damn about ti after they've done KYC with 200 companies a year for bounties and stuff like that?
I have more ATMs near me than entire Africa, do you think everyone around here issuing them? No, the only ones that use them are the ones trying to keep as much information out of the reach of banks as possible. Financially it makes no sense, driving to it, paying 5-10% in fees, then dealing with cash, it's far more tiresome than simply doing cheap and fast SEPA transfer. And lately, the fees have begun to spike, even shitcoin.club who had reasonable ones and are always loaded with money are asking right now for 8.2 when selling, common!!!!!!

One thing, I don't know how accurate coin radar is but google needs to clean its act for Streetview when it comes to Africa!!!!
I was curious about the Uganda Atm as it's listed at a post office, so it looked a bit more, how to say legal and official, but when I searched for the address, oh god, it sent me here which seems like a correction facility on the amount of barbed wire.

Yeah, everyone's taking advantage of fees. Even some sites I know doubling their w/d fees and then you see they just batch it up anyway AND pocket all the fees they charge customers and STILL not even on a good fee in the end.

And yea, Google streetview is unfortunately never going to be good in parts of the world where there ARE no Google cars going around. I spend a lot of my time in South Sudan correcting the roads and locations -- but you also have to blame users as in these locations it's 100% reliant on users verifying and correcting.

P.S. the pic you showed me looks perfectly normal for a government building in East Africa. They have protected compounds like that, normally with a high ground barrier so you can't rush in, and someone at the guardhouse before the gates to enquire before opening. You haven't been to Uganda have you?Wink

@slaman29: Well done, bloody well done! Guess you're glad you spent it all on one place, I'd definitely have made probably the same bet (and I picked the very same ones in my daily thread), but idiot like me I might have parlayed it with Saturday's FA Cup final because I always use my freebets on minimum 3-leg parlays, which is the story of the last time I won a freebet here (0.03), got it all the way to 0.07 (not including wager!) and died on the final leg when Liverpool did not perform as expected in UCL heh.

@Trofo: Yeah, I stopped Napoli betting as they were leaking me money at some point, though to be fair, Inter and Lazio also screwed me a bit. Some things are never meant to be, in the end. Especially freebets, I'm a bit more reckless with them.

@FJ: Ah well, we all hate Covid and nothing to do but shrug and go again. Are we getting a refund for the entry fee as well? Damn shame about it, really! Got a 4+1 similar promo coming up for August when we got nothing to do (except mini Europe tourneys)?
9779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: African bitcoin ATMs on: July 30, 2020, 03:59:48 PM
I love this list! Thank you =) Just to say though that the site (radar) doesn't seem to be very good at updating. The one in the airport in the capital I was at took months to delist, and the ones near me haven't been available for weeks.

I was actually at one of the listed locations (Kenya) in late 2015. I do NOT recall the BATM there, so that must be new!
9780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 30, 2020, 02:32:38 PM
@EdenHazard English league screwed me (Spurs) too, and Juventus did on this one, I rarely do that but I thought final day magic means all the best teams (who should therefore have the best mentality) want to end the season on a high note. Pretty obvious Juve had eyes elsewhere.

@toma yup, Sarri and Mou, my favourite people at the moment until next coach screws me on Final Day Serie A haha. I like the insurance parlay from some bookies in this case though, saved me.
