This happened a long time ago when I first started betting in online bookies. In order for me to share my story I first have to introduce you to my way of betting. It has stayed the same thought last 15 years.
First I start by selecting all the pairs on that given day that are interesting to me or I judge them to have a value (bookies missed the odds). I put them all on a single ticket and place some minimal bet on it. Maybe 0.5 EUR or even less. There can be from 5 (slow day) to 20 (Saturday) pairs on this ticket.
After that I keep max 6 pairs I judge most likely to win and put a small-medium bet on it. Here we are talking about maybe 5-10 EUR depending on my bank, odds, feeling...
After that I keep just 2 or 3 pairs and play that for high stake. The amount here can be from 50-1000EUR, depending mostly on my bank at the moment. I am counting on this last ticket to keep me in the green zone when I crunch all the numbers come year end. This ticket thankfully passes often while the 6 pairs one passes maybe 2 times a month. While that first ticket passed just once in my life. Here starts the story...
It was Friday about 15 years ago and I selected a bunch (maybe 15) pairs from usual Friday offer. Meaning a lot of both to score markets on Dutch 2 league, some upsets in French 2nd league plus some other sports like tennis and hockey. Tu cut the story short all my pairs from first ticket passed, meaning I won all three tickets that day. My stake was about 300EUR and I ended the day with combined wins of about 4000EUR. My lowest ticket has won me around 2800EUR on stake of 38cents. While my high stake ticket had stake of about 270 EUR and won me around 900 EUR. I immediately cashed out 2000EUR and bought myself a beast of gaming machine. Here ends my success story.
The other 2000EUR I lost the very next day. It was an expansive lesson which made me learn a lot about proper bank management and not trying to pull yourself in the green after your first high stake ticket flops.

Who predicted a rainy goals on Atalanta ? I wonder now if Atalanta can make a miracle and win UCL because they started so bad with losing against Shaktar in min 92 and then slowly recover to score more goals game by game so I would see Atalanta reaching semi-finals on UCL.
Today is the big day, El Classico when all the world is watching the great teams of Spain : Barcelona Vs Real Madrid. Predictions : Both team to score and over 3.5
Don't forget Atalanta started their CL season with a loss of 4:0 against Dinamo Zagreb. After that they lost against City and Shahtjar, they had 0 points after first 3 games in the group. |

@toma: Lovren... also the guy who jinxed us last season when he actually said we could go unbeaten (and then lost to Citeh). I actually like the guy personally, but he seems a tad overconfident at times of his own ability. Oh well =p

Do we really wanna blame Lovren for this? Worst player on the field. Fabinho was off too but the entire team. Well.
We now have no other reason to NOT fight for the treble though!
It is a bit harsh what the media is doing to Lovren. Yes, he was bad, but he was injured and than didn't had a competitive match for few months. Van Dijk also played maybe his worst game since coming in the club and he should be the best defender in the world. Lovren isn't that class no matter what he sometimes says to the media  Liverpool attack didn't have a single shot on target in the whole first half and only one shot off target. I don't remember ever seeing this Klopp squad that toothless. To surmise, Lovren was bad, but he isn't the reason Liverpool lost this game. This was terrible performance from whole squad and Watford played a perfect match. I am sure, no matter what the players said, they had one eye towards Champions league match. Yes they come out with arguably strongest 11 but that players weren't going all in all the time. Premier League doesn't forgive when you don't give your absolute maximum. PSG can get away with that in the France and that is why they have a problem in CL. |

Ja sam baš dobio po nosu od Masteratha. U tim nekim utakmicama treba baš biti blizu kompa, sad čak i imam one sa šeširima koji nisu i 1. postavi i namješteno mi je na attacking po defaultu.
Recimo, protiv tebe u ligi mi uvijek igraju krivi igrači - ne da mi se to toliko mijenjati.
Ja se potrudim promjeniti ali meni ja lakše. Mijenjam u ligi samo kada vidim da igram protiv Kerke ili Rijeke, a ukupno se radi o dva igrača pa i ako zaboravim nije bitno. Ove PvP turnire pokrećem samo ako vidim da su 3 tima unutra a ja baš na kompu. Nisam nikad koristio onu automatiku. |

Ja sam sad dobio tebe u kupu, napokon jednom. 24 mil navijača ako se ne varam, da mi Masterath nije uzeo skoro toliko u 2 međusobne bilo bi vrhunski.
Nikako da kupim neku legendu, opet imam 20k F-coinsa ali što mi vrijedi kad mi treba svega par pozicija a tih igrača jednostavno nema ili se razgrabe iste sekunde.
Da ja sam kup završio baš u takvom minusu negdje. Izgubio sam sve tri u gostima i dobio samo tebe i Masterath doma. Ali mi je ta pobjeda protiv njega donjela nekih 40-50M pa nije ispalo totalno grozno. Očekivao sam lakši posao protiv tebe i SABBY. Danas svi igraju nogomet |

Čestitke, nadam se da ćeš ga sad potjerati u neku drugu ligu  Ja igram ovo već, a ne znam, valjda 7-8 mjeseci a i dalje nemam ni jedan naslov. Mislim da imam 2 izgubljena finala kupa (Revolt na početku) i jedan poraz u polufinalu Europa kupa - sve drugo ispadanje u četvrtfinalu ili ranije. Slično je i meni, ja imam ta dva naslova do kojih sam došao spretno/sretno što bi se reklo. Imamo veliki minus što mi koji igramo Hrvatsku ligu moramo dobiti Kerku ako želimo osvojiti bilo što. On mi je baš jedina ekipa koju ne mogu pobijediti ni doma ni u gostima. Sve ostale: Prince, Masterath, Rijeka mogu barem doma dobiti dosta često. |

I expect that El Clasico will be low scoring game. In few recent games between Real and Barca we haven't saw many goals. And offence line of both teams is far from being optimal. Real struggled to score against Levante last week. While Barca have lot of difficulties on away games this year.
In recent weeks Barca playing better and J hope to see our win on Sunday. It would give us more calm life for remaining part of season with 5 point lead.
Whatever it is, 0-0 in the last game did not reflect the game itself. I'll admit the Madritistas had the better of us, but our keeper was a rock on that day. Messi's on fire again now though and Real will be distracted over their unexpected loss to City, (of course we also almost lost but we have the slim advantage and we're playing at home this time on the second leg so yeah!), so I am predicting a 0-2 win to us today. This won't mean we win the title though, unlike what the press are saying. Can't wait for the game to start. I must admit that I preferred how these games were played in the past when there was goals galore in almost every single match. These days, Clasico is way more cagey affair but still we are able to watch some good football. Barca hasn't lost in last 7 encounters and that must chafe Real supporters terribly. |

I svejedno se čini da će Rijeka do prve ligaške titule.
!! KONAČNO PRVACI HNL-A  !! Nisam htio ništa ranije pisati ali igra je totalno nepredvidiva. Zadnje 3 utakmice u ligi igram doma protiv momčadi sa sredine ljestvice, i od 3 tekme ugrabim samo 5 bodova. Da stvar bude bolja, zadnja tekma protiv Flumena, moj effective OVR 1780 a njegov 1207. Posjed lopte 50-50, udarci na gol 3-3, rezultat 2-2. Moram priznat da me pratila sreća u ligi ovaj mjesec, ali sa samo 2 poraza u 44 utakmice, mislim da sam zaslužio naslov Čestitam. Kerku dobit negdje stvarno nije lako, pogotovo ovako u ligi kroz puno utakmica. Ovo mu je bila najgora sezona a osvojio je svjetsko i hr kup i bio drugi u europi i drugi u ligi. Stvarno je zajeban protivnik. Ja sam ga skinuo u finalu HR kupa jednom davno i ovaj mjesec u finalu EU kupa ali mi je on definitivno najteži protivnik. Nisam nikada pobjedio protiv njega, u 90% gubim 1:0 ili igramo izjednačeno. Ova dva kupa sam oba osvojio na penale nakon dvije izjednačene. |

Big congrats to Watford. Not only they managed to beat Liverpool, they did it in very impressive way. Furthermore, if result stays like this (3:0), Watford will finish the day outside of the relegation zone. Better goal difference than Bournemouth. Probably even most optimistic Watford supports didn't dream of significantly improving goal difference over LFC side |

Watford just suffered a serious hit to their hopes of avoiding relegation. Gerard Deloufeu has been taken from the field on the stretchers and from the look of things I believe he is out until the end of this season. This will hit them hard. Hopefully, the injury isn't that bad and we will see him soon but I highly doubt it.

My take on the games. Chelsea is not winning today, they will get a draw max. They are tired from Europe, playing without Abraham, in bad patch of form and they lost 4:0 last time in Bournemouth. Bayern should win but they could be in problems as well. They are playing without Lewa and Hoffenheim managed to score 5 goals against them in last 5 2 games. This one could go other way as well. I am not picking Bayern with that odds for sure. Monaco I will not comment since I don't watch French football. Sevilla should get a win tomorrow. |

Guys, did anyone watched the Dubai open semi-final match yesterday between Monfils and Djokovic.? One of the best match after the Australian Open final in the year 2020 so far. What a match.!!! Monfils was flying around the court and exceptional with his backhand shots Djokovic almost lost the match luckily got the 2nd set in the tie break. But the third set was completely opposite to the first two where Monfils struggled with his injury and didn't play well where Djokovic easily wins the final set and the match.
Yeah, I watched and it was classic Djokovic once again. He was nowhere in the beginning of the match but started raising his game bit by bit and got into his opponent head. I didn't watch the 3rd set, I was sure Djoko will get it easily. You say there was some injury problems for Monfils? Something real or just that thing he does ever so often when he looks like he is gonna collapse and then he runs the point with 40 shots without problems? |

Ne fali ništa osim što i dalje donose jako malo F. A pitanje možeš li ih stalno osvajati... Istina, nisam probao dugo jer sam zaboravio na njih. Tebi je lakše skupiti 10k F mjesečno kad imaš jako dobru ekipu pa dobivaš velike nagrade za mjesto u ligi i europskim/svjetskim kupovima.
Kako malo? Ja mislim da nose previše. S america cup koji nosi 21 mogu osvojiti kada se sjetim sa bilo kojom ekipom sastevljenom od ljubičastih igrača + 1 legenda koju treniram. S/W Europe B koji nosi 14 možeš osvajati i sa plavima. Uz to za pobjedu u svakoj utakmici dobiješ još +2 F. Igra je baš napravljena za farmanje, samo moraš stalno pokretati. Mislim da imam dovoljno igrača za složiti 5 ekipa od kojih prvih 4 može osvajati recimo taj kup koji nosi 21 dok ova najslabija može taj koji nosi 14. Dok peta ekipa odigra prva je već odmorena. Samo kome se to da osim Kerki i možda još njih par. |

Znači ja ne razumijem kako mogu osvojiti F coine. One PVP turnire redovito gubim, u ligi uvijek završim oko 10. mjesta koje nosi ništa ili jedva malo tih F coina... Jednostavno više ne postoji način za osvojiti. Mislio sam uzeto jednu legendu ali onda neću više niti jednog igrača moći kupiti jer nemam kako zaraditi F.
Šta fali onim solo turnirima? Kerka ih odigra valjda 20 svaki dan. Više ionako ne možeš izgubiti/dobiti navijače pa su tu samo za farmanje coinsa. Jedino što moraš stalno klikati po njima. Meni se osobno ne da baviti time ali ljudi i dalje farmaju na veliko. Ja od prvog dana kada sam počeo igrati pa do danas odigram po jedno dva solo turnira dnevno i jedan PvP kup ili ligu i to je tempo koji mi baš odgovara. Dnevno zaradim možda 100F od toga plus nagrade, skupi se jedno 10K mjesečno. |

Zna netko kako vidjeti presjek vlastitih rezultata? Sada kad odem na neki drugi klub piše mi kako je igrao u svim natjecanjima unatrag par sezona, ne mogu to naći za sebe.
Mislim, i bolje da ne mogu ali svejedno bih volio.
Klikni na grb svog kluba pod fixtures ili negdje. Samo tako dobijes tu stranicu. I ja sam neki dan trazio isto a nema je u izborniku recimo. Mislim da te to mucilo. |

I watched a good deal of Porto vs. Leverkusen game and I must say that i was really disappointed with Porto presentation. I expected them to bring the game to Leverkusen and make it tough contest but Germans just were a much better team throughout both games. Their win never came into question.
It seams Portugese football is in big decline this year, all clubs out of CL and now most of them out of EL as well.

Ali mogli bi organizirati neko druženje u okolice Rijeke svejedno. A ne da uvijek zagrebčani kolo vode. Pusti Footbattle, shvati to kao mito da ne ulaziš u moje kampanje Guram te naprijed za dobrobit cijele zajednice, imati ćeš više izbora u budućnosti pa pazi šta radiš. Za sad si siguran u toj tvojoj kampanji, budući da ova moja traje samo ovaj tjedan, ako se ne pojavi neka nova BTC kampanja mislim da ću okušati sreću o onoj od dkbit98. Ipak plaća puno bolje za Hero member nego za Senior ako samo dobro vidio pa se vjerojatno isplati. |

Nadal lead the seeded players, but number #2 Zverev lost to Paul. It was a good win for Tommy, his first against a top 10 opponent. Zverev is really playing poor in this tournament, dropping his first service game and double faulting. Dangerous next match for him, it's going to be against big server John Isner.
Alexander Zverev is really overrated in my opinion. He's struggeling mentally a lot and doesn't have the right mindset. He is a strong player of course and has so much talent, but he still needs to learn a lot if he really wants to stay in the top10 or even higher for a good amount of time. But yea, he is only 22 years-old, so I guess we will see if he can make it. I rather to say that he is inconsistent sometimes playing very well but when play againts players whos rank below him lose, and all more due to his own fault. I don't really understand what has happened with Zverev. He was the first of the next gen players who showed real consistency and ability to take the fight to the big three. He had strong game from both forehand and backhand, solid serve, good hand. Basically he had all the shots at the high level and solid mental strength. Then out of the nowhere he lost that mental strength and started under performing. Hopefully he will find that lost spark and continue to develop in right direction. |

Ovo je teren koji jako dobro razumijem i zaista mogu reći da je uvodni post pun pogrešnih pretpostavki. Isto tako, nisam čitao u detalje, ali argumenti forumaša nisu baš pobili sve gluposti iz uvodnog posta. Ruku na srce, autor neke stvari iznosi potpuno točno i vidi se da neko razumijevanje o temi ima. Upravo zbog toga mi nije jasno kako neke druge stvari potpuno pogrešno zaključuje. Idemo vidjeti hoće li on priznati da je u krivu. Iskreno, toliko toga imam za reći, da ne znam kojim bih uopće redom krenuo argumentirati. U nastavku nabrajam i objašnjavam neke od greški koje autor čini. snip Odličan post i puno ti hvala što si si uzeo vremena da ga napišeš. Ja prvi priznajem da nisam previše upoznat s problematikom tako da mi je teško nešto argumentirati na ovakav način a pogotovo kada znam da će mu proći preko glave čak ako u tome i uspijem. Naučio sam nešto novo danas što uvijek cijenim. Ja i dalje mislim da koliko god ti ili bilo ko drugi iznio dobrih argumenata nema šanse da antikvark uopće prizna da bi možda mogao biti u krivu po bilo kojoj točki rasprave. Zbog toga je ovo borba s vjetrenjačama i mislim da bi nam bolje samo ignorirati ali opet ovakvi postovi su vrijedni čitanja pa ako imaš volje samo nastavi dalje.
Ona stara poslovica "Znam da ništa ne znam" od Sokrata ili koga već, je po meni osnova razvoja pojedinca. Ja tek kad naučim puno o nekoj temi shvatim koliko zapravo je toga moguće još naučiti u tom polju i kakva sam neznalica. Priznanje samom sebi da nešto ne razumiješ ili da bi netko drugi zapravo mogao biti u pravu je skillset koji jako pomaže u osobnom razvoju. |
