9781  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dark marketplaces? on: September 02, 2016, 12:00:34 PM
why do they call it dark marketplace anyway?

never want to get involved to this dark marketplace but is it easy to get inside this place that everyone is just allowed to get in? if yes then it sure not safe there. CIA and FBI must be monitoring this place.

the network is accessed via special browser software that uses the old bounce technique of trace blocking.  You can actually look at the top of the browser on a tab and see that you are connected through this server, to this server, to this server and so forth, the same is true for the sites themselves.

while anyone can get there, most of the best exchanges have a good check they do before allowing a person to sell on the marketplace and a lessor check for buying.

still, when using a vendor you should check the previous orders for feedback and one of those is a stealth rating.  People still can get caught pretty easy, using a bitcoin address to deposit that is easily traced to them, tracks left on the PC and various other things.  The first big drug sales bust was made by watching the blockchain for matching pairs of numbers.  for example, let's say I paid you on here for a service, that service costs exactly $129 and through here and the service you provide you can easily be traced.  You then, push that TX to another BTC address in hopes of getting more anonymous, and you do that a few more times, then you deposit on the dark net exchange site the same $129.  while the TX's may be harder to trace, the fact that you(knowable) just got $129 and then an anonymous trade on the dark net was done using a $129 deposit, there is the trace back to you.  a few times of that and you're caught.

tumbling BTC can be traced some, the $129 is sent to the tumbler, the fee is $9, just to make it easy, and then magically another BTC address gets a $120 TX, it can be watched, depends on the level of things you do and how good you are at them.  real laundering would involve that $129 being spent on three different sites I own, leaving some behind in the first address, those TX's can be less than 24 hours apart, then those funds from my accounts need to be further distanced, i make a few trades here and there, spaced out, i can even make one of those a private sale to you on the same dark exchange that you want to deposit in, and the best end result is for the funds to end in at least three different wallets

Seem like a hard job not to mention the use of mixer.
I would simply assume later that monero will be thier best option to make things easier.

What sort of illegal stuff are there?  Virgin teens?

Will support this Nice project.
Although there are already bitcoin freelance site, i'm interested as to which jobs are going to be posted there.
I'm going to apply to some jobs if some ico needs social media marketing.

How many post can I do in bitcointalk in a day. And also I would like to know that what are the criteria for getting blocked in bitcointalk.

As far as i know there is no limit as to ho many post you can do every day.
If you want to post a hundred you can but i don't think someone with the right mind will do it. Can't even do 20 for the signature campaign i'm with. For getting blocked, maybe if you scam and scam.

One of my friend got blocked just for posting 10+ in a day. Does that make any sense. Even he hadn't posted any illegal or scamy content. I don't know what sort of algorithm bitcointalk usage.

Did your friend follow rules?
Spamming is includd in the rules by the way. Or if he pated some link leading to a scam or ponzi sites.
Wonder which violation your friend comitted.

I have a question, after ico is over, how can we get signature/twitter/LIn bounty? Will you contact us by email? Thanks

yes by email
we expect you to submit a full report on your activities and engagement, attached with your ANS address to our email

The full report on activities should include what and what.

That's a lot of hard work, you should have hired a campaign manager for this to track accounts and what they have done including the activities and engagement after all the spreadsheets lists all the users involved in the campaign.

I haven't have a ans address yet, should one has to register on the ico page?

Could you please add the link to the exchange in the OP ? That would be practical for us and people would get more interested since it would have a value.

Would like to see the list of exchanges as well. Never have an account on cryptobe.com
And I may not ever try registering there. ITs almost a month now yet its not listed, not even on C-Cex. Are these exchanges really that hard to talk to?  youcan send 3 btc to bittrex for it.
9788  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [PEEP COIN] GUARANTEED VALUE - FREE ICO!!! on: September 02, 2016, 05:37:35 AM
I don't see any use for this coin. even if it says we can send it without transaction fee so why use peepcoin?

The name maybe at least of of help like peep, my impression says its for voyeurs around the world to sell the videos the kept using their hidden cams.
9789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Naming and Shaming Thread: Name the Scamcoins on: September 02, 2016, 05:26:15 AM
Ethereum.  Attempted to launch an IPO in Ontario and was forced to shut down by local laws.  Scrambled like rats to Switzerland, to hold an second ICO which would be deemed illegal in many countries.  A lot of countries have laws requiring KYC and/or proof these people are not investing in excess of 10% of their net worth.  Never mind, the concern that illegal proceeds would find themselves to Ethereum and in all likelihood there probably was.

Also a lot of suspicious linkedin profiles for Ethereum.  Including people who had not worked a listed job in over 16 years.   Also huge salaries and bonuses for people who were lacking in credentials and qualifications.

Then the hype train came along.  IBM Adept, which they shilled & shilled which went nowhere.  Then "Jesus 2.0" of Augur, which was illegal gambling.

Let's not get into the DAO stuff, since everyone knows what went down with that.

Conclusion:  Ethereum is a scam.

Really? Can you post us a link to such new where they tried to do an IPO on ontario and was busted? Maybe i was just too busy to read some few new and  some details regarding them.  That would be funny to see vitalik wearing chains Smiley
9790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why isn't there an Altcoin capable of overtaking Bitcoin ? on: September 02, 2016, 05:18:05 AM
It would be hard for an altcoin to overtake bitcoin for the rest of the world are all watching which coin can it be and the whales will start to milk from it before it could even rise. They buy dump, and buy back and then dump..it will cycle until it can't grow.
9791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: September 02, 2016, 05:12:52 AM
Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries?
how? what can be done?

Maybe it can if someone from a particular poor country as for donations thru bitcoin the community can help so long as its transparent enough that it would go for good.  Let's say Sudan needs funds for their children, the community maybe able to help if we all can just send even just a dollar each.
9792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: WARNING - Bleutrade not processing BTC withdrawals on: September 02, 2016, 05:09:18 AM

I would assume you did not to put all your eggs in Bleutrade after all they're not the very known exchanges site. would like to know why they haven't responded yet even after 3 tickets. if anyone is also experiencing such then i guess it wouldn't surprise us all if they one day close after declaring they were hacked.

9794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Someone please make a steem clone on: September 02, 2016, 04:20:16 AM
I got an idea of Xteem.

Xteem will be a crypto-media Xteem, based on Ethereum, Nxt blockchain or other POS blockchain. Xteem has several functions:
1. erasable blockchain, in which article or reply in a transaction can be deleted for copyright problem;
2. TA software for analyze stock, coin market;
3. many parameters of Xteem are changeable by contracts, so don’t need to change source code.

How a user earn money?
Not like Steem, which reward the writers by Steem dollar.  just to like reddit, weibo, webchat...
a)   an user gets money by others’ tipping;
b)   answer other user’s question;
c)   write a article which reader pays when read;
d)   trade others’ fund and get fee.

it has to have valuable rewards or else the users won't be intersted to write something for your xteem.
does anyone have any idea which steem clone script is for sale? I wanted to create my own article site but not related to crypto. I'd reward users with USD, its the contents that matter this time for google.
9795  Other / Meta / Re: Who's in charge? on: September 02, 2016, 03:53:06 AM

The forum pick moderators who will do fair judgement to all so if a moderator does what you said, report it to theymos. i doubt a moderator would do that though.
There had been threads directly pointing to lauda for months already but that thread wasn't even deleted.
9796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: September 02, 2016, 12:13:17 AM
The blockchain should be intact unless there was a worldwide outage that affected the internet. If that happened, it's possible that the blockchain would be lost, but there would be many other things lost as well.
of course because bitcoin system and all transactions can only be done using the Internet. I can not imagine if the internet is down and I'm sure everyone will be confused

And then we'd be back again to fiat?
Crypto of course rely to the internet to perform peer to peer that's why we call this to be DAO which literally just mean a network of computers talking each other. Without the internet that allows us to do it, it will be a failure.
9797  Other / Meta / Re: !!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more v on: September 01, 2016, 10:20:37 PM
ITs not just you who has that messages when sending being a newbie so do get use to it until you get used to it.
it won't be long and your recipient won't be seeing it later when you become a member of this community. you'll understand it later when you got scammed by users who pretended to be someone else with almost same username.
9798  Other / Off-topic / Re: IS UFO or ALIENS are real ? on: September 01, 2016, 10:08:07 PM
I think Aliens and UFO are real.
of course they are real and in my opinion in the future they might be found

Documentaries I've seen on TVs says we are the alien in this planet to which we once live somewhere and we just travel and find earth. I wonder which government or country hides the evidence regarding this as everyone hides these stuff for themselves. Some say they found pyramids on mars.
9799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform ❘|❘ 2.8m+ USD raised in first week on: September 01, 2016, 10:03:58 PM
Ok....so i can understand the cheerleading leading up to reaching the minimum funding to make it a success.

Now that it is here, why does everyone want this project to continue to rake in btc?  Do you not have experience with this yet?  It's never a good thing because the bloat causes the overall profit potential to disapear....ie you become a bagholder.  I, like everyone want the project to succeed, but at some point all these ico's need to set a cap.  If not i dont care how good something looks, i will just wait until they end (when it hits the open market) and buy lower.

Yes, everybody should stop getting so pumped on all the BTC raked in and think about the possible consequences.

We have 1 month still ahead so it's not looking good. I think the amount raised will decline, similar to what happened with the DAO, most was raised in the first couple of weeks.

If people believe the team will set a cap or shorten the ICO then they are being naive, no sane person will do that but it will surely be the most noble thing to do but we all know this is not going to happen.

I sure won't start turning down money any time soon!

You could argue that perhaps if they cut the ICO short, it will make the Iconomi coins that they have more valuable.

Yes of course, that would be great for investors but not for the team, for them that's more money in their pockets now, that's the truth and there's nothing wrong with that per se.

The money doesn't go into their pocket but to the rest of the investors as the number of ICN that belongs to the dev team still the same so nothing changes.
It will only have bigger value in the first days of the exchange really, we've see these ICO over and over here in bitcointalk and the rest dumps to trade again.

what i can suggest of the team is to use the rest of the funds to marketing... pump later.

9800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Way To Encourage Offline Store To Accept BTC on: September 01, 2016, 09:50:10 PM
Personally i don't want to spend bitcoin somewhere besides online unless they offer discounts if we pay bitcoin.
But sure it good to see local stores accepts it and other cryptos as well. That means people may be dependent to the internet by that time too.
