981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1070 ti on: October 21, 2017, 02:50:11 PM
I dont think 1070Ti is good choice, I assume that its hashrate is about 35Mh/s and price is about 600$, if it's the case, I will purchase P106-100, it could get 24.5-25Mh/s while price is only ~230$.
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] dstm's ZCash / Equihash Nvidia Miner v0.5.2 (Linux / Windows) on: October 21, 2017, 02:44:51 PM
I have tested with 1070 rig for 7 hours, it's quite stable. But ZM uses is about 34% CPU, it's much more than EWBF's miner (5%).
Hope ZM will have some improvement on this soon.
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 19 GPU ASUS Motherboard on: October 21, 2017, 02:36:01 PM
Somebody tested this MB with window 10, and it could recognize 16 GPUs P106-100 and achieved very good hashrate at 25Mh/s.

984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Discuss PoC and Burst mining, the only green mining alternative on: October 17, 2017, 07:19:41 AM
I like the idea of Burst, also its community where I got a lot of comments from great people.
The only I dont like about it is previous attack on its network. Hope it could get over and be stronger.
985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold will be another Bitcoin Cash? on: October 16, 2017, 03:08:57 PM
Until now we dont have much information about Bitcoin Gold, but I will mine some at very first beginning period.
When not many of us know about it, I think it's worth to bet a little bit.

I can not believe that the difficulty already dropped a half  Shocked Btw, I just checked whattomine, it looks like it's correct on calculating profit.
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How Often do you Check Your Rigs? on: October 16, 2017, 08:53:17 AM
I use mail notification for inactive workers, rarely check their operations via Teamview, and about each 1 month I come to check the system, and do cleaning.
988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are you mining any CPU mineable coins? on: October 16, 2017, 06:10:51 AM

989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best ZEC miner for nVidia GPUs and Ubuntu ? on: October 14, 2017, 05:03:53 PM
I prefer EWBF and dstm. You could try and make comparison.
990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening with Monacoin? on: October 13, 2017, 05:14:20 PM
People are saying the ol' Pump N Dump, others are saying it's Japan's first coin and they're making it worthwhile. You pick.

I'm not sure, but I just think Pump N Dump is not suitable for this coin cuz its supply is quite large with ~55M. Maybe Japan's first coin is reasonable, if it's the case, how's about DogeCoin?
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What's happening with Monacoin? on: October 13, 2017, 05:00:45 PM
Could anyone explain what's happening with Monacoin, not only price goes to moon, also trading volume is unbelievable.
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rigs for suggestion for new miner on: October 12, 2017, 12:09:15 PM
For gtx 1070, can someone share the best overclocking/undervolting combination please. I never tried it before and bit scared lol

It depends on which coin you want to mine. For example, you could try as following:

ETH: core: -100, mem: +400-500, power limit: 80%, fan speed: 75-80%;
ZEC: core: +100, mem: +50, power limit: 80%, fan speed: 75-80%.

For a stable operation, you should not overclock too much!
993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are ASICs really worth the investment? on: October 12, 2017, 11:25:33 AM
I think it's only worth for very first batch.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How many mh/s do you have? on: October 12, 2017, 05:11:48 AM
1 asus gtx 1080ti 490 mh/s with lbry
1 zotac 1080ti 501 mh/s with lbry

Do you OC, if it's the case, could you please share your OC setting.
I set mem +100, core + 100, TDP 80, 1 MSI 1080 Ti hashes ~463 mh/s.
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Riser sata cable burned! on: October 11, 2017, 11:45:53 AM
You should connect 1 SATA cable for maximum 2 risers, connecting to only 1 riser is the best. 4 risers on 1 sata, the loading current is too much!
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Get connection problem with altminer.net pool? on: October 11, 2017, 09:03:29 AM
Hi there,

Anyone got problem with pool altminer.net today? I could not log to pool, my rigs are still running and hashing to pool as normal.
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: is mining still profitable? on: October 10, 2017, 02:33:46 PM
I think it's a bit late if you're looking for a good ROI in short-term, but it's never late if you target for mid-long term with good coins.
Somebody here already stated that they mined some coins even for negative profit, but they get rich now.
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: small test rig before spending 300k on: October 10, 2017, 02:28:11 PM
He has large mount of electricity in hand, and 300k budget, I think he should go with state-of-the-art GPUs such as Vega 64 or 1080 Ti. They have better ROI.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex down? on: October 10, 2017, 02:20:43 PM
Got this situation about 1 month ago, but this time it's fine for me. I've just logged successfully, all went smoothly.
1000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 1070 24/7 mining lifespan? on: October 10, 2017, 03:49:59 AM
I think 100% fans peed is not good idea, 70C is good enough for long-term operation, I always set fans peed limit at 85%, cards stay around 67-72C.
