You can have your time to study more not just during the bear market .... Study ? Why waste your time studying when you can just buy those cheap coins that you love . you must act snappy because the bear cant last a long time . there is no need to study because you are already knowledgeable just before you enter the crypto scene . aside from buying , the next best thing to do is to keep on hodling if ever you dont have the cash to purchase cryptos . my experience in th bullish market was that the 2x price in the ethereum market since december 2018 i bought when it was at 70 and sold in the 140 usd last month i think it was my best experience int he crypto market.. im prayin for another bear market right now.... just think we have to do the opposite the other people are doing... i thinks thats the trick and control your feelings
Well good luck. I don't think there's going to be another bear market the scale of what happened last year this quickly. Good for you you didn't lose hope in ether since back then a lot of people were counting it out for this year already. This is no doubt we are going to have Bull Run in the days or months to come. The reason behind why we would have a bull run is the crypto market cycle and other factors that could push the market up. Like you did, my strategy in the crypto market would be to cash out once I am 3X because keeping in mind the pace at which the market is rising; I think Bitcoin is going to go high. There will be no need of any special strategy for a long term holder as in this recent bullish markets, we are seeing many good altcoins are becoming cheaper and this must be a right time to buy and hold them. I am simply following same long term strategy across all types of markets. Banks against the cryptocurrency is there, but the same doesn't mean that banks were with the intention to destruct the growth of cryptocurrency. At present some services weren't possible to be provided by banks, and the same will be fulfilled by cryptocurrency. Banks show opposition at times due to the loss faced due to the increasing usage. By now banks too have begun to adopt the technology to grow along with cryptocurrency.

I've always been watching bitcoin since mid-2013 up to now, and the market/bubble is painfully toxic. I'm not a big investor or economist, and I probably still only have superficial knowledge on how the entire blockchain systems work.
I just patiently watch the graph, and keep telling myself not to invest because everyone tells me it's a giant bubble that will someday pop. Recently, I started to run a few side businesses dealing in Bitcoin as payment methods, but I've never stored it long term and always converted it to cash.
I remember back in 2014 when I first thought of investing in Bitcoin as a long-term investment, and obviously was pressured out of it because everyone kept thinking it was a bubble that was about to burst. I'm starting to think about it again now that Bitcoin is starting to crash - and generally speaking in the past it's done quite well after crashes, recovering and increasing every once in a while.
What do you guys think? Is it worth it to give it a try? This would be my second crypto investment, and I'd be throwing in $5-10,000 at most. Any ideas?

If you nog going to actively trade it then do not expect it to bring you any meaningful income, and if you do going to trade, oh boy you need more luck then in a casino.
