I would be very cautious dealing with a project that ripped off people working on the bounty. People who are dishonest and don't respect others contributions often treat investors the same way.

Not very nice burning all the bounty hunters for their work by cancelling the Twitter and Facebook and not paying for the work already contributed. The correct way if you change the terms is to honour your commitments, not retrocatively rob people of their work.

Sorry, but for me not knowing who is behind the project is a huge red flag and I would never invest in or promote any project without knowing who is behind it. There are tons of really good companies right now that are having ICO's for projects where they are being completely transperant about who is behind the project. No need to waste your time and money on projects like this who are not.

It would depend on what you investment objective is. If you investment objective is exposure to cryptocurrencies with the strongest protection against downside risk then i would recommend Bitcoin. If your goal is capital appreciation when the market becomes bullish again then in that case I would recommend Ethereum. In the current bear market for every 2% lost by Bitcoin, Ethereum lost 3%. In the next bull market it is likely to be the same but in reverse.

The decline in prices is caused by:

- the fact that Bitcoin has no use other than as a store of value based on scarcity.

- that being listed on the futures market makes it easy to short.

- that the exchanges are unsupervised and easy to manipulate through wash trading.

I think that is a very short sighted approach and given that the largest English speaking market (USA) is excluded from most ICO's, it may end up being very costly for his clients. There is a reason that people translate all their documents into other languages. There is a large market of cryptocurrency investors whose mother tongue is not English. Rather than forcing people to post in a language they are not proficient in just because the bounty manager is a unilingual English speaker, you would get better results if you found a way to harness those peoples ability to post in another language and widen the field you are marketing to.

I can empathise with your criticism of ICO's. There are lots of extremely dishonest practices such as paying for favourable reviews on ICO rating sites. However a lot of the things you are claiming such as that large sums of money were spent on the project is just not always the case. Often the people on the team don't get paid cash but get tokens to reflect the work they put into the project. Don't you think it is important that the people behind the project make some sort of investment of time or money in the project that they are asking other people to fund?

Having an actual product is definitely an improvement on being asked to invest solely on the back of a whitepaper but I would caution that many of those that are raising money with a product are projects that raised their first money from another source and are just using the ICO as a cashgrab for a project that has exhausted its initial funding without achieving enough success to be funded further from traditional sources of venture capital. It is less risk but don't be fooled into thinking that means no risk.
