981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin replace Gold someday? on: September 02, 2020, 09:43:50 PM
Gold will not lose its value until someone find a planet with full of gold, or it will when asteroid mining is possibly but now in reality it is not going to happen and it will never happen at least until I am alive. But it will bring change in the traditional banking system for sure and also government may consider cryptos as reserves instead of gold.
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: September 02, 2020, 07:01:50 PM
bounty fraud will not just stop there are so many ways they do to trick bounty hunters, I think depending on each if we choose the bounty before joining and see the whole then it will avoid bounty fraud
Totally agree with you, they will have various ways to deceive us. I also took part in many bounty this year, they are rated good projects and are very active. But after the bounty ended, they found many reasons to delay distribution, and gradually ignored its distribution.
Ignored distribution until the value goes to zero or completely ignored to pay the participants. In general bounties are not worth in 2020 but there are some rare one like stable gold I guess which is paying in their coins which already got values so try to join on bounties like that or stop it completely.
983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will Dex's Dominate the Cex's in near future? on: September 01, 2020, 07:05:45 PM
Every shitcoin is getting oversold in Uniswap due to defi so the volume also getting increasing day by day but soon there will be an end to this madness. The real decentralized exchanges are still lacking the volume and there is no way for them to dominate the volume of exchange like binance.
984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 01, 2020, 05:36:02 PM

I agree IPL doesn't comes close when comparing with the WC event in terms of popularity but we can't deny the fact that IPL is worth way more than all ICC tournament put together. You don't have to believe me just check the auction of media rights.

IPL is currently a cash cow for everyone involved not only for the BCCI but for the international players too due to the auction of players.

Then we had one more factor Ind-Aus series. For CA securing the India's tour was more important. You might ask, why? Simply because of revenue.... (You scratch my back, will scratch yours) as simple as that.

My 2 sats ...... Wink

Other countries also deserve to get the tournaments / series / tours played to get the revenue. Don't they ?

Apart from IPL only Big bash league got popularity but not sure is this a tournament which involves cash a lot like IPL but surely it helped lot of players to get into international career even IPL auction bids were increased based on that league.
985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum overpower Bitcoin in the future? Which side are you on? on: September 01, 2020, 03:45:44 PM
The blockchain and cryptocurrency industry is an industry that is constantly changing and evolving. So it’s hard to give you a binary answer inmy opinion. I honestly love both the projects.

However when I look at it from a larger perspective, I realize that the industry is rapidly changing and the top project maybe something we least expect. I see a lot of development happening in the Web3 ecosystem with respect to Polkadot. I see new projects like Concordium which are exploring new paradigms like Faas( Finality as a Service ) and are backed by years of Academic Research. DeFi is changing the way we know Finance.

If there is one thing we can learn from the industry, its that change is the only constant and BTC is King. It has always been.

Ofcourse Ethereum is very innovative, it is infact one of the most innovative projects out there, but BTC will continue to dominate unless Ethereum brings something so huge that it will lead mass adoption and will be seen a better store of value than BTC. Ethereum was never intended to be a store of value.
Tokens created on ethereum blockchain will never allow it to reach after some level but this is not the case with bitcoin but it doesn't mean we have to skip ethereum. Both are good projects but keep in mind that tokens and other shit coins which also comes under altcoin so overall it will get affected when bitcoin dominance keeps increasing.
986  Economy / Economics / Re: Famine is coming next ... on: September 01, 2020, 01:06:56 PM
I guess its payback time.. There were lot people who has a lot before the pandemic started but spends and spends their money without checking if its necessity or leisure... they have not prepare for saving up some for times like this... And know they realized their expenses before the pandemic happens..too bad its already late to realized this.. But what tgey can do is make things right... earn something to save up as long as youre doing good thing and never abuse anyone. Atleast God will pour some little help.
Rich people never spend money on something which is costly for them, if they do then they are just pretends to b rich. People own hard assets are rich by now but the one who owned stocks lost a lot but many used it as an opportunity to  make more profits by getting the shares for cheaper than ever.Never blame God, its their responsibility to hange their life if they want to come up or else they will become poor forever.
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TrustWallet For Airdrops Tokens ? on: August 30, 2020, 04:39:15 PM
Airdrop with shit tokens won't make you rich.
Use mobile to store your fund is bad idea.
You need ETH to spend transaction fee that is high on ETH network and maybe transaction fee is higher than value of shit tokens you receive.

Trust wallet support ERC20 tokens as their site shows: https://trustwallet.com/ethereum-wallet/
Quote
Universal

Trust Wallet is the premier mobile ethereum wallet which works with any ERC20, BEP2 and ERC721 tokens. Trust Wallet also supports the main blockchains in the Ethereum ecosystem - Ethereum, Ethereum Classic and Callisto. Currently more than 20,000 tokens that are built on Ethereum are accessible through Trust Wallet app.

You can use Myetherwallet.com.
Trust wallet is better for mobile user, even though MEW mobile version of my crypto app available for smartphones which is still not better in theur UI and advantages of using Trust wallet is a lot,one thing is we don't need to add them the wallet itself will identify their smart contract and add it to our balance.
988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 30, 2020, 02:10:43 PM

Out of 2000ish covid tests 13 came positive (asymptomatic cases) and if we look at pattern in such cases then they should be fine after 10-12 days. I doubt if BCCI even thinking of cancelling the tournament unless whole squad gets infected by 10th-15th Sep, which seems unlikely to me.

BCCI will run the IPL at any cost. Even if the whole squad of a team gets infected the will cancel the team and will run the tournament with the remaining teams, I think.

How selfish would that be from the BCCI if they keep on insisting on the IPL and do not care about the players health and do not take covid-19 infection / threat seriously ? Remember that T20 world cup was cancelled to make room for the IPL. Although i would like to see IPL but not in the conditions we're developing right now.
Maybe rest of our life is going to be in such way but we have to continue the things what we have been doing in the past in the possible ways that is why IPL is happening but it involves politics too.Players are also taking such risks because they want to earn this is their profession if they get out of form then they may never get chance in the future.
989  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.com - new scam - holding bitcoins for 7 days on: August 30, 2020, 11:56:44 AM
This is another reason why it's better to use another wallet or exchange if you want to purchase bitcoin. It is on their terms, the minimum holding periods section.

5.2.2 Minimum Holding Periods

When you place purchase orders in the Trading Wallet, we may impose minimum holding periods in respect of any Virtual Currency that you have purchased which may last up to a maximum of 7 days. These minimum holding periods are necessary to enable us to carry out effective fraud prevention measures and to ensure that the fiat currency leg of any given transaction has settled. After this minimum holding period elapses, you may trade your Virtual Currency in the ordinary way.

I never bought Bitcoin using blockchain wallet but I did used their swap features from ETH to BTC and few other cryptos which was almost instant and no minimum holding periods for it,but now blockchain turned into a crap and showing lot of errors like insufficient balance, unknown errors, login issues and much more. Why someone using blockchain for buying bitcoin there are lot more better options available...
990  Economy / Economics / Re: Remote Working and Inequality on: August 29, 2020, 04:50:41 PM
Surely there will be work from home concept for most of the jobs if it is possible from 2020 but not every business can be done in this way and also manufacturing companies should hire more people to increase or complete the pending orders if there is any.But in the next 10 or more year the locality of an Individual will not be a matter, one who got the skills will grab the job opportunity so developed country people are the one going to suffer if this concept become real.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bought 66k Siacoins on: August 29, 2020, 03:26:53 PM
Hey,

I have bought 66,107 Siacoins for 0.00495 each resulting in 327.21975 USDT.
What do you think of this investment, is it going to be +ve or -ve in the long run or in a month?
Link: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/siacoin/

Genuine feedback will be much appreciated.
In the past this coin was expected to have huge potential and traded actively by the day traders but now things changed because shitcoin hyoe doesn't get longer, but it could be a profitable one in long term and the capital is also not too huge so worth for holding in long term since you already bought it.

Another shocking news regarding CSK fan! Raina is going to miss IPL 2020!

Everyone expecting to see him on the ground after he announced his retirement earlier this month but now this is not going to happen this year.

To add more misery, BCCI finally issued the press release on yesterday's Covid-19 news. If existing reports are true then all cases are from CSK only. Deepak Chahar's name is almost confirmed, no confirmation about 2nd player.

https://twitter.com/cricbuzz/status/1299638340984008704

Bio bubble create by BCCI popped even before anything gets started, now players are going to be afraid of their lives, without proper training how they are going to perform.Too much of compensation for BCCI's revenue! Sad

994  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Virtual trading before actual one - pros and cons on: August 28, 2020, 06:20:55 PM
~~
Virtual or demo trading is just only for complete beginner not for mastering in crypto trading completely, demo account offers people to test their skills but the real ability of using their skills can be found only with their real money involved and more people losing means they are just taking it too easy.It is important to start from the scratch not with all the saving you had!
It is undeniably best for a beginner to use virtual trading to gain experience and relevant skills that will be very useful later on. But it seems to me that even an experienced trader will be able to use demo versions of a cryptocurrency exchange in order to work out their options for trading strategies to study their effectiveness.
For someone who already have experience in trading doesn't necessarily go to demo account because literally they are wasting their profits making opportunities so they should try their strategies with little money to make it more realistic.
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with 1000% Plus Profits on: August 28, 2020, 04:45:54 PM
Low volume currency , they can easily manipulate the price by giving fake trades and increase the price that way. Its not an honest trading views this just manipulated by owner or one of the supply holders so they can exit with high profit selling it to other traders.

No legitimate currency can give that profit in a day only shit coins do that.
So, If I want to invest in this, is it going to be a waste or I can have profit as well? Thanks.
Literally you are falling into the traps if you are going to invest on such coins, these values are just pumped by shitcoin whales for small profit making, randoms might get attracted to the price growth but if you are going to invest on a coin or token which doesn't have 1000BTC as daily trading volume then you will loe your money for sure.
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020? on: August 28, 2020, 03:55:02 PM
It is worth in 2020, but for your main job and main income is not  recommended to do at all. For every project they just give you below 100 bucks for every 3 months. This is really low compared to fixed jobs and in 2017 - 2018 it was really better and you could get more with just doing a single project, the difference is really insane.
If we compare the rewards from 2017 year ICO's then current year there is not really worth it but there are some bounties which pays hundreds monthly and about the token campaigns not really worth to be honest but still can try if they have free time to spend and bounties are not asking much posts like bitcoin signature campaign asks so its easy for someone to complete tasks.
997  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Virtual trading before actual one - pros and cons on: August 28, 2020, 12:57:43 PM
I see a lot of advice where people suggest each other to practice on websites where they can trade with virtual money. To be fair, I am in this list too among them but at the same time no one warns such people that it was it's pros and cons, more likely cons are outsiders while giving advices.

Pros: You trade with virtual money where your actions can't raise/damage your real budget, it looks like you spend money like nothing. This gives us possibility to test our skills and abilities in trading and help us further why we make mistakes and what we need to fix while considering the fact that the reason why I profit/lose is because you lose/profit.

Yeah, it sounds good but sometimes when we move on real life trading, things go wrong. We are always warned to leave our emotions outside while we are trading that includes: Not to panic sell, hold when there are harsh moments, etc. But we forget to mention another main emotion that we face in this situation: We trade with our money where we are responsible to results and these results may have huge impact on our life. Inside, in our subconscious, we worry about the results because we trade with our, real money.

To my mind that's one of the main reason why people usually start well with virtual trading and end up badly in real life trading and somehow this is one of the most skipped problem in overall.
Virtual or demo trading is just only for complete beginner not for mastering in crypto trading completely, demo account offers people to test their skills but the real ability of using their skills can be found only with their real money involved and more people losing means they are just taking it too easy.It is important to start from the scratch not with all the saving you had!
998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 28, 2020, 11:58:11 AM
.
^I like that idea too, experienced cricketers vs fit and form players but its highly impossible to happen in reality. Yuvraj is one of the legend and took the Indian cricket to the next level in 2000's by his fielding and stroke makings and his contribution in 2011 world cup is something unimagineable, he played with cancer and also blood vomit in a match just because he wanted the team to win and hope/dream of billions from India...
Why impossible? Recently Sachin Tendulkar played a few charity games and so did other players. A game of similar fashion can be seen all these players are almost younger or of similar age of tendulkar. I understand that fitness would be one concern but still it's a friendly match after all.
The idea proposed was quite new and I never seen anything like that but legendary cricket players are doing some kind of charity or tribute matches from time to time like world XI and Asia XI team but I am not much familiar with when these games are taking place. Is this happening every year?
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin use? on: August 27, 2020, 03:46:30 PM
When I first discovered crypto. BTC, LTC, DASH, stood out as practical coins.

I don't hear much about LTC nowadays.

Is there a preffered LTC wallet?

Are people using it much?
Litecoin is like a sleeping giant,it is also giving gradual profit for the holders and in terms of usage it is one of the best to use at the moment because bitcoin and ethereum transaction fee are getting higher so people prefer coins like transaction for cheaper amd faster transaction.
1000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cost of transferring money on the Ethereum network is too high on: August 27, 2020, 01:33:02 PM
It's very annoying, I tried to send 3$ worth of token to kucoin this morning and the gas fee won't go down more than 2.6$, it doesn't make any sense to sell low valued tokens right now, other blockchain like Tron or litecoin and ripple are the best alternative
That is why you should not buy shitcoins just only because it is available for cheap price. And why $3 to kucoin? What you are going to do with such small amount !!!

Few months back people yelled bitcoin because ethereum transactions are faster and cheaper but now they are the one crying, I agree that bitcoin fee also getting increased due to network congestion but with ethereum it just created because of all those shit tokens.
