982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Does adding nodes in Bitcoin core increase its speed? on: March 12, 2018, 03:12:27 PM
I'm using Bitcoin core 0.16.0 and it's syncing. It's a lengthy process to complete the synchronized process. My current progress speed is 0.22% per hour. It has 8 connections. It will take three more weeks to be done.
Now, I want to know, if I add nodes then will it increas its speed? If yes, could you please provide me the node list.

Thank you.
983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this true that GOOGLE will ban the ICO and crypto related ads? on: March 12, 2018, 02:05:46 PM
I don't think they banned it. Still, I can see ICO ads on many websites that using Google Ads. Even in the search ads, you can see a lot of advertising before the original content. Here is an example is taken 3/12/2018; 2:02 PM (GMT):

So, it's a fake news that Google banned ICO related ads.
984  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 will be at $50,000 on: March 12, 2018, 01:59:08 PM
I wouldn't be surprised if Bitcoin goes $50,000 this year. If you look back to BTC price history, it was magical. Up and down then up highly again down... Up highly... Last all-time high price was around $20,000. Now it's down around $10k. SO It has a good chance to go up again and make it 5x. By the end of this year, Bitcoin will be more $40,000+ (personal guess).
985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin rise up criminality rate ?!!! on: March 12, 2018, 12:47:47 PM
Bitcoin can increase but they can be caught. Here is a details statement how criminal can get caught if they use Bitcoin for criminal activities http://www.sciencemag.org/news/2016/03/why-criminals-cant-hide-behind-bitcoin
Now think about other coin like PIBX, XMR, Komodo, Zcoin which is highly promised to stay anonymous.
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves vs. Bitcoin on: March 12, 2018, 06:46:55 AM
Bitcoin is the winner. While it's transactions are slow but you can not compare it with other cryptos because it's always worth up whatever coin you comparing with. Waves have a good chance to chase BTC with high pace, but my personal guess is he can't run over him.
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Kucoin tx fees -> taking $10 to send a transaction with 0.35 as fee... on: March 11, 2018, 08:55:18 PM

Do you think we should stop using exchanges like Kucoin?Huh

Recently I made a BTC withdraw and they took me 0.001 (~10 bucks) as fee.
After waiting few hours for confirmation, I checked the translation as saw that hey paid UNDER 3s/B! The whole transaction costs under 0.35, so they made a profit of over 9 bucks to just to give me my own money?!?!

It's similar with their ETH transaction where you have 0.01ETH as fee and then the actual cost is ~0.001 total max.

Most of the exchanges charge 0.001 BTC as fee when they process a withdrawal. Not only Kucoin but also cryptopia, localbitcoins, and so on. This is for some reason and you can get the answer in their FAQ section. The only exchange I found https://stocks.exchange that charges 0.002 for withdrawal. A better option is, convert BTC to any altcoin that charges very low and transfers it.
988  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: March 11, 2018, 08:47:05 PM
Not possible.
Bitcoin can make a rich people to richer one.
Who can buy/hold bitcoins? The answer would be a rich people.
Who can mine a BTC? This answer will be the same. Why? Just think about the price of a mining rig, minable GPU or anything that need to start mining btc.
So, ultimately the Bitcoin is a thing that controlled by the richer society people. This is why this can't resolve the world poverty.
This was just my personal opinion, don't take this seriously.
989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: History of bitcoin prices! on: March 11, 2018, 08:39:02 PM
OK. I'm Hodling it. So bitcoin has the backstory to recover from huge down to huge ups.  Kiss

991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: March 11, 2018, 04:16:36 PM
If you want to hodl for a long time then definitely you should go for wallets. But if you are ready to trade then exchanges are good to go. I prefer multi-coin wallet instead of many wallets.
Why wallet? - It's secured. Also, some coin gives you stakes for Hodling in the wallet.
Why not exchanges? - As it's running over the internet, it can hack, damage or something evil. So your coin may be at risk.
I use exchanges when I'm ready to trade within three months at least, otherwise, I keep it in the wallet.

993  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start Trading for newbie on: March 11, 2018, 10:00:41 AM
You almost got many good suggestions. Just don't start with a big amount of money that you can't afford to lose. Learn and go increase investment by time goes, make sure you are avoiding Scammers. You can take look at this https://www.quora.com/I-want-to-learn-trading-Bitcoin-How-do-I-start and https://www.forexnews.com/bitcoin-trading/ this for details.
Good luck.

997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Champaign on: March 11, 2018, 06:12:31 AM
This really depends on the Bounty rules where you are going to participate. Read their rules carefully, if need asks the manager your questions. In general, ICO's pays after 30 days of ending their program.
