981  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: December 23, 2015, 03:55:07 PM
Judging from the participants of various Bitcoin Conferences I can say that women are not really interested in cryptocurrency.
It is nothing new because IT world is dominated by men anyway. We have to believe that with greater bitcoin adoption more women will be attracted.

I do not see that IT world is dominated by men. Because in my software company, there are more women than men as girls are getting their engineering graduations easily than boys.
Same way, in my office bitcoin is more famous among girls.

This kind of situation differs country to country and moreover from office to office.
Usually girls are less prefering new technology. Beyond technology they are more conscious about money and investment. Maybe once bitcoin enters into mainstream, we can see many girls are using bitcoin.
982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: December 19, 2015, 12:46:18 PM
Bitcoin is a real money for me.
I can use it in many ways.

But for me it's still a investment. I fear to use it because of value appreciations it is getting day by day. If I spent in low value, then it will make me regret on seeing it going higher prices. I will use bitcoin as real money once bitcoin hit one million or ten million price levels.
983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: December 15, 2015, 05:58:29 PM
Bitcoin is of course less worthy than my fiat assets but it doesn't means its over fiat or such. It would have been real money to me if i was a bit early to adopt and was able to collect some thousands of coins.

Bitcoin is more than just money! Its Freedom.
yeas it is but is unrelated here.

That's the point how you use bitcoin. If you have thousands of bitcoin, then you can use it as money. Otherwise, you may save them for price appreciations as an investment.
For me, bitcoin is an investment. It may take decades for me to use bitcoin as money.
984  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: December 15, 2015, 05:33:56 PM
Nothing is 100% safe, not even Bitcoin. It's the safest when you are spending it.  Wink

Yes if do not take necessary steps then bitcoin will not be safe. Bitcoin wallets are safe when we have strong password encryption. While spending if we go with escrow services then spending also more safer.
985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bition eventually deflate to oblivion? on: December 15, 2015, 10:13:54 AM
Even in the price appreciation phase how you are able to think on bitcoin becoming oblivion. I do predict Paypal, western union such these type of services will become oblivion just because of bitcoin.
986  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: December 06, 2015, 12:49:05 PM
No it is very difficult to get 1 btc cause i am still a newboe so for temporary i can only earn from faucet

you can buy, if you have a job, with 1/3 of a normal salary, you can get one bitcoin right now, i think it's still in the range for average joe to earn a good amount by buying

Yes this year fully we had and now also having good price levels to buy some bitcoins to make ourselves with bitcoin ecosystem revolutions. Buying a little amount from our salary would fetch a big number of bitcoin in certain period of time. I do buy often.

Yes buying often in small mount of bitcoin is the only way we can get one full bitcoin when we considering the faucet earning or signature earning amounts. Sadly I too have missed the chances of buying at 220 dollars levels.

Yes without waiting to get one full bitcoin, I had no other go other than buying it.
My signature campaign earnings are not enough pace up to my wish of having one full bitcoin. I'm in plan to buy often in small quantity of bitcoins when ever I get some money.
987  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: my coins are showing on block chain but not in my wallet . on: December 05, 2015, 06:32:51 PM

First thing : your coins are safe.

This type of problem I have faced many times with my multibit wallet. Just clicking the option of "reset blockchain", will re-synchronize and will show your bitcoins.

Yes showing balance in blockchain explorer is more important than showing in wallet. If you use bitcoin core and it's not up to date then you can not see the right balance.
988  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin on: November 28, 2015, 03:32:58 PM
I don't believe faucets are bad for bitcoin, the people who are hosting those faucet sites get money out of the advertisement as well. I see it as a win win situation. Both parties get something out of it and it's fun to collect some free satoshi every now and then. I stopped doing them daily because I don't believe it's worth it to spend all my time collecting when I could be doing something else worthy of my time. I would recommend faucets to people who are just beginning with bitcoin.

But the real problem with faucets is people are collecting many small amounts of satoshi into some considerable mBTC, then they are selling it in exchange on regular basis. Already all the exchanges are facing selling pressure from miners, with them these faucet collectors joining to make bitcoin prices to go down.

I'm not able to make a single mBTC for a week hard work along with faucets. I wonder how it's possible for some one else to get decent amount of satoshi from faucets itself. I want to know what faucets people are using.
989  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best bitcoin wallet on: November 27, 2015, 06:23:31 PM
I see have several wallet sites. My opinion: blockchain.

But in my experience, desktop wallets are better than web based wallets. But blockchain.info is unique by the way it provide access to our private keys and you can access your bitcoins via internet from anywhere.
990  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most Secure bitcoin wallet ? on: November 21, 2015, 04:32:04 PM
Bitcoin is based on cryptography. So, the strong encryption protects bitcoin ecosystem safely. Same way a strong encryption can protect your wallet as well as your bitcoins. We need to go the same way of bitcoin to secure our hard earnings.
991  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: November 21, 2015, 05:06:45 AM
Who even pays for porn these days, you can watch any porn video you want online.

Yes we can watch freely any porn content we want but not the HD contents or live cam actions. These are exclusively available only for paid or registered users. Once you get practice to HD videos then you never go back to free contents any more. That's the reason for paying porn sites and bitcoin is a good choice for porn payments.

But I'm not ready to spend my bitcoins for non-return things. Usually I'm not in group of people who spend bitcoin now itself.
Those who believe in bitcoin, never spend any satoshi now itself. In my view porn and gambling are same, addictive. I never want to waste my bitcoins there in future too.

I never look for ROI for spending my bitcoins. Entertainment or pleasure is the return I always look from gambling or porn sites or any fun related activities. Life is short. Enjoy.
992  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN going up or down on: November 16, 2015, 05:49:05 PM
it is very difficult to predict, usually bitcoin prices will rise if there is a country that is the economic crisis, but also very fast bitcoin prices fell, very difficult to predict the bitcoin prices rise or fall  Huh

Yes it's very difficult to predict in short term or in current trend. But in long term view we can definitely say bitcoin is going up always. This simply because of bitcoin is capped with the total coins to be mined so there are lot of possibilities for the prices go up always.
993  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why did you come to Bitcointalk? on: November 16, 2015, 05:39:11 PM
I was introduced to bitcoin by my close friend. From google search I found this forum for further knowledge.

Other than knowledge we can gain from this forum we can also make some bitcoins by participating in many programs from this forum. If you search in Google we can find many bitcoin forums but this forum is the mother of all bitcoin forums.
994  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: November 14, 2015, 06:05:46 PM
We still need around 5 to 10 years to this technology to be heavily understood and used by regular people.
I am optimistic about it and I think its' price will rise.

You're perfectly right. People need time to get familiar with any new technology like bitcoin. Many people do not want to take the risk in the case of their wealth and money that is the reason bitcoin still new to many people. They do not want to try new things instead of money.

Yes I do agree. Because people do not want to try new things with the risk for their own. That is the reason bitcoin was available for very cheap price to almost free. But at the time of adaptors were very few. In my view bitcoin is slowly growing up but will explode in near future in exponentially too.
995  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most Secure bitcoin wallet ? on: November 12, 2015, 03:47:09 PM
But I prefer online wallets like blockcahin.info or coinbase. I will ease of use with them as I can access my bitcoin where ever I go. No set up head aches and securing private key dilemmas. I love online bitcoin wallets.
996  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I invest? on: November 12, 2015, 05:33:01 AM
if i were in your shoes i wouldnt invest my bitcoins and keep it in either my paper wallet or hardware wallet as the price of it will start growing after some time

That's my way of growing my bitcoin too. Keeping our hard earned bitcoins for value appreciations must be a best way of growing bitcoins instead of getting scammed in some ponzi schemes.
997  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: November 12, 2015, 05:28:22 AM
get some satoshi of faucet, although the results are very small I was quite happy, because the job is very easy Grin

Yes faucets are very much easier jobs to do, that's the reason faucet earning are very much popular even faucets give very small amount of satoshis.
998  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: November 11, 2015, 06:24:29 PM
I 'earned' today BTC0.12 playing dice. It isn't really earning but gambling. I don't care, I won some.

That is the big amount of money. Gambling is also a kind of earning but with some risk.
I wish to earn like you through gambling or through bitcoin earning.
