981  Bitcoin / Hardware / Will antminer s1's ever turn a profit as of now? on: March 14, 2014, 12:15:11 AM

982  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [In Stock] Batch 8! Gridseed miners in Stock in Los Angeles. [$225] on: March 13, 2014, 11:22:23 PM
I just purchased 3 more from zoom hash batch 8.

this will bring me up to 9.

I have 1 pc that loves running them at a nice speed of 850 freq  around 370kh each. with very low watts/.

nice price and the paypal option is great.

do you run the modified cgminer with them? or cpu miner?

with multiple on a PC do you need multiple instances of cpuminer (if not using the cgminer)
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Flashing Firmware of gold gridseed miners? on: March 13, 2014, 10:16:29 PM
yeah i was able to flash mine.. the white button depresses, and flashing with the button pressed in worked.. it still has issues though, i think my version was the version before they were stable and took out the white button.. as sometimes if the difficulty is low and it hashes fast it will stop hashin in about 24 hours and just sit there detecting new block after new block without submitting anything
984  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [INSTOCK in California] Selling Gridseed Asics. Ship from California. [$235] on: March 13, 2014, 10:05:47 PM
Hey Zoom, any difference in terms of speed/stability using the Gridseed controller?

Not that I am aware of.

987  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [ROUND #2] GRIDSEED 5 CHIP ~ SCRYPT MINERS ~ LOW AS $179 MINER ~ SHIPS MARCH 15 on: March 13, 2014, 02:47:23 AM
red miners are the beta miners.. gold miners are the new more stable.

also if there is a white button its an older version

my test unit I got awhile back is gold with a white button so its not the latest (gold and no button)

im interested in a 5 pack possibly if this is legit

escrow an option?
988  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Gridseed hosted(or not) groupbuy 190$/unit or 150$ with hosting on: March 12, 2014, 08:23:16 PM

989  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: LightningAsic usb miners based Gridseed GC3355 Tech Support Thread on: March 10, 2014, 05:44:19 AM
haven't read this entire thread yet, but real quick has anyone had issues with the gold color gridseeds with the white button randomly stop hashing?

itll go about 24 hours or so (depending on what diff its mining at) and just quit hashing

im running latest lightningasic firmware with the modified cgminer (not cpuminer) but ive had the issue with the cpuminer as well

995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [AUTO SWITCH] ScryptGuild (BTC Guild) Beta - Multipool Done Right on: March 09, 2014, 05:49:22 AM
its vardiff, cant change it.

joined this pool today and seems i keep getting new blocks to solve before submitting any shares

CG keeps advising "stratum from pool 0 detected new block"

i only have 361kh (gridseed) - is there anyway to set this up so i can submit more shares rather than having to work on a new block and my work be lost?

or maybe im understanding it all wrong.

so far i have submitted 656 shares and got rejected 64 shares from CG. but its been stuck there for a while because i keep getting new blocks.

blocks switch regularly.  sometimes it's a new block on that coin, othertimes it's another coin altogether.  what difficulty do you have your worker set to?  maybe lower it, it'll increase your odds of getting a share through.

M

You can set your starting difficulty, I've got my gridseed at 32 and my dualminers at 16

Also my gridseed doe the same thing stops hashing sometimes too requires hard reset (try unplugging power then usb, then plug in power followed by USB and restart miner)
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: new miner -have only $650 and two old computers. suggestion needed on: March 08, 2014, 05:05:14 PM
These guys are all wrong

With your money you can get 4x 750 Ti's and have 1.2mh between both rigs
997  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Introduction to DualMiner USB (could mine both BTC and LTC) on: March 08, 2014, 06:52:47 AM

Wow thanks for this, was able to get cgminer for my dualminers and my gridseed 5 chip pod

although I have to run the gridseed's cgminer before the dualminer's cgminer otherwise the gridseed isn't recognized saying the chips are already in use

oh well.. minor inconvenience !
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [AUTO SWITCH] ScryptGuild (BTC Guild) Beta - Multipool Done Right on: March 07, 2014, 11:07:04 PM
I've got a request,

Id love to be able to re organize my worker's in the dashboard list.. like drag them or categorize them via drop-down to re arrange them by higher hash to lower hash.. or better yet, be able to click the top cell where it lists Estimated Speed and have it organize by speed

seems dumb but would be a cool feature just for aesthetics Smiley
999  Economy / Goods / Re: [ANN] Got a craving for sweets? Satisfy it with Sweetbits! on: March 07, 2014, 08:24:40 PM

1000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ScryptGuild (BTC Guild) Beta looking for additional miners on: March 04, 2014, 08:20:11 AM
recently set all my rigs here, once automatic LTC conversion is enabled and more ppl start to trickle in this will be the premier pool.  With OP's background this thing can go the distance.
