Thank you, OP...for that quite insightful and quite obviously unbiased review.
Always refreshing to get an outsiders perspective from someone who has no holdings or personal vested interest in either doge nor 42.
I shall take what you said with a grain of shit.

The plan:
- Post bounties for development team - Have them code - once majority of code is written file for full patent status (utility patent)
In the case of failure: - unpaid bounties will be returned to investors - source code for paid bounties will be returned to investors
So let me get this straight. You're going to use the potential 50btc from investors' pockets and use it to post bounties for the dev team. Once the code is written, get the full patent. However, if the project fails, you will somehow get a refund from the coding team upon their own good merit (perhaps they will LOVE the concept of having put in countless of hours of grueling work only to give up their compensation). Then return the initial offerings back to the perspective investors? Boy, this sure seems like a fool proof plan, bud. I mean, God forbid the investors actually have to take as big a risk as you in this whole endeavor. You're obviously the one putting yourself out there and stand to lose the most. Amirite?

Makaveli REALLY needs to rebrand and reskin this coin ASAP if he wants even a swimmers chance at survival. He's certainly not doing himself any favors by keeping the 'gay fish' depiction, despite its hilarity.

A quick 5 second search on OP yielded these absolute gems. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=252564.0https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=253999.0About the Author vintagetrex was the Xbox Live gamer tag of a 12 year old semi-professional Halo 2 player. Considered a prodigy by some due to his lack of online experience with Halo 1, vintagetrex was known for aggressive bxr combos and stylish head shots with the sniper rifle. As an adult, the author has continued developing a unique skill set, including a freakish combination of logic and creativity. The author's perceptual organization index tested at 99.7%, but he also draws immense creative inspiration from an onset of bipolar disorder. After vintagetrex's first invention, which occured under the influence of LSD as an independent at age 19, he was forced into an unfair game dominated by corporate greed and lobbyists. vintagetrex was crippled in his ability to promote his own invention due to the steep price of patent filings, legal fees, FDA trials, and getting non disclosure agreements signed. All of these results stemmed from an intellectual property system claiming its sole purpose was the promotion of innovation. Analyzing his own possibilities, he realized he had been thrust into a game where the only winning option was not to play. "Write your inventions in a book and don't tell anyone about them." The game had been made by greed to enslave young, creative minds; squeezing value out of them to boost corporate profits. vintagetrex vowed to remake the game and turn greed against the oppressors of innovation. He vowed to make big business the new slaves. His creation was Anarcorp. Methinks one too many extinguished braincells lends itself to psuedologia fantastica in this case. Anyone else getting a strong The Talented Mr. Ripley vibe? You know, minus the 'Talented' part....

So much facepalm I don't even know where to start. I haz a patent. It's not searchable. O u haz a search form? Illegal methodz, brah. lolnvm I'll show you. Mah bad, just realized it's currently in my dorm room in Uzbekistan. Sowee. Workin with Matt Damon from Goodwill Hunting and a gang of other ivy league scholars, they've already started. haha just playin, they haven't technically started, I just know them intimately thru hours of wiki search So yeah. I guess we'll just all pre-emptively wait until the sucker who already donated 1btc steps forward 3 days from now bitching for his refund back on account of 'OP not keeping me updated zomg think i wuz scammed wat do?!?!'

Mining GPU's will always hold value (especially top models), simply for the fact that most of their primary value is derrived from gamers, NOT miners. There will always be a guy running top notch games on his sli rig that will be willing to pay top dollar to play BattleField on high settings@60fps.
However, the real question will be IF dedicated scrypt miner units will ever be created soon. It will basically shift this into a bitcoin scenario where gpu rigs will become worthless in the mining world, and anything less than 30mh/s will be completely pointless and phased out.
We will have to see how this pans out. But for now, there are actually a ton of good deals on scrypt miner day/weekly contracts, that almost makes buying a multi-thousand dollar rig and fronting the electricity bill yourself....worthless. Especially for short term profit gains.
Wayyyyyyy too many shitcoins out there though. And it needs to stop. Or the market as a whole WILL suffer if there are tens of thousands of new, shitty crypto coins giving the industry an almost 'trivial/comical' feel to new investors...rather than a wave of the future.

It is a good article. Many valid points. As for how to fix the hoarding of the initial funds, maybe a few of the big holders can start 1 mil nxt lotteries.
Would perhaps be more feasible if these stakeholders weren't so geared towards milking profits vs. caring about even distribution and ensuring the coin's long term success. Makes me lulz when I see these huge stakeholders put up NXT FS threads, yet refusing to sell/trade any lower than 10% above current market value, ofentimes more. All this when they're already sitting on 1000%+ pure profit.

So do we know the dev's blockchain address?
Can we confirm he hasn't/didn't sell a great majority of his premine when the prices were high before the crash?
That could prove telling....

This is how I played this coin and it worked for most part Sold all my mined coins at 1500 ! Bought at 1000 sold at 1200 Bought at 900 sold at 1100 bought at 850 sold at 1000 bought at 800/750/700/650 ( was sleeping so all walls broke lol) was scared sold all at 700 ( obviously bought a lot more at 650 so overall it was fine ) Good luck I am out now how many 'dents' do you get for those spot prices? I'm still confused as to the unit of measure and pricing of this stuff. If price is 1000BTC for 1 42 ==> 1 BTC = .001 "42" == .001 * 10000000 = 100,000 DENTS thank you, good sir...that cleared everything up

Dev's been online, his status says just this morning. Yet no reply.
I mean, I was skeptical about nxt's POS system and the ultimate pump n' dump, but this...

Also: I'm completely mind-fucked.
Could someone please give me simple-pasta on how to figure out what constitutes a single 'dent' of this stuff?
Like what decimal place does a single unit dent start out?
0.000001?
0.00001?
I'm completely lost what constitutes a dent and what constitutes a fraction of a dent.
Thanks.
A Dent is the 42 equivalent of Bitcoin's satoshi: 0.00000001 Currently there aren't any fractions of Dents. (Or satoshis) Thank you sir. Jesus...am I reading this right then...the price of a single dent is currently almost $600 and was well over 1k at one point? o.0 If so, the dev's pre-mine would be worth a LOT more than 300 btc's, I'm assuming? 1 dent is 0.00000675 BTC ;-) ahhh ok that makes better sense lol Then what is the 'unit price' on cryptsy? How many dents for that price?

This faggot is a scammer. Same username as makapaka, etc. He just abandoned his makapaka screenname that he scammed other people with. Goes by gustavo johansen, uses a million different paypal emails with Castillo as the last name....a million different skypes. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=396933.msg4318201#msg4318201DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS FAGGOT! HE'LL KEEP MAKING NEW USERNAMES BECAUSE THE FORUM MODERATORS DONT DO THEIR JOB AND PERMA-BAN IP'S OR EVEN USERNAMES FOR THAT MATTER. What he does is offer to 'sell' bitcoins, etc for paypal...even accepts as a regular non gift payment. Seem too good to be true? Well, he accepts your payment, then quickly transfers money out of those dummy accounts to his main account, and you never get your coins. You'll then have to file a paypal dispute and wait over 2 weeks for your money back. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

owners of this coin would sell their premine 0.3 thats 300 bit coins ...when it as 1000 ... when prices was high and hide .....
You never want to assume the worst, but that's a sh*tload of money. I generally do not like premine at all. Opens the door for so many potential problems. Dev said he would only be using premine for giveaways and offers? Any word on if he made good on that? I see there was some rewards for business that accept it...but anything else? Faucets?
