Cards are factory OC but I have not done anything else beyond that.

risers?

having trouble getting consistent work from pools. hangs for several minutes. using cgwatcher to restart the miner.

My three 750ti's are on risers and my 970 is in mobo.

I am using Windows 7 64bit on Nvidia driver 344.11

I have had no issues at all on the Nvidia cards but I do have my rig with the AMD cards running on CGWatcher and restarting the miners every hour because they freeze up on that one. Again no issues at all on my rig with just the Nvidia cards.

Have you tried another pool? I am on Block Factory and running smooth.

EDIT: Let me change that " running smooth". Rig runs fine but it does slow it down a little. I can't watch videos as they are running slow motion. Besides that no issues.

Is there any fork/plan for neoscrypt I might have missed?

The cgminer works good.

And how fast is a 750 Ti? I couldn't get cgminer to work to check for myself.

cgminer.exe --neoscrypt -I 14 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.ftc.theblocksfactory.com:3333

Leave all the other parameters out. -g -- worksize.

48 kh/s on 750ti

I'm getting only 32 kh/s. Are you overclocking the card?

Cards are factory OC but I have not done anything else beyond that.

Keeping an eye on the thread but stopped mining for a little while.

Curious question since I had problems with the miner stopping (but I did lower the intesity by 1 or 2 and that helped a lot from a recommendation).

Does CGWatcher work with sgminer? The reason I ask is if it does work just set CGWatcher to restart the miner every hour and that should help with down time. I had to do that to a coin months ago and it worked well for me. Just a thought if sgminer will work with it.

Can someone confirm the correct block? I show I am on block 28,947.

Just want to make sure I am not forked or anything from the amount I have found.

Thank you antonio8 and Epsylon3 !!

As of right now, I don't believe there is one. I was going to use cgminer to test with.

Linux or Windows?

Windows

there is a way to divide the load on ccminer for the same gpu? if i open two instances of ccminer the thing simply crash, i remember in sgminer, that in this case the loaded is divided
it depends... if the memory usage of the 2 instances is larger than what is available on the card, then it will crash.
Otherwise it should be ok (I guess... I assume 2 instances running on the same algo... never tried mixing stuff)

it use 1gb of memory for every instance, approximately, maybe it's not a good idea with petit card like 750ti lol, but with a 970-980 should work

someone tested it on scrypt, how many khs for the 970 and 980? cryptoblog reports 600khs for the 980, which seems too low
by the way, anybody tried neoscrypt ? (with amd obviously  Grin)

Is Feather Coin the only one using the Neoscrypt algo?
t
I think there are a couple of other coins using it

Guncoin is now using it.

I seen that. It looks like there are a couple thousand more blocks before it kicks in.

I  am just curious to see what the 970 will do with that algo. I'll try FTC since it looks like they will hit their target block first.
what is the speed on an amd ? (haven't tried).

I'll run it on my 280x and 270x also. Should be sometime on the 26th when it is ready.

What's the command line to mine Neoscrypt with ccminer?

As of right now, I don't believe there is one. I was going to use cgminer to test with.

@ 1coin.eu

I tried the new gpu miner in the OP.

Ran fine for about 3 hours then I had the lock up again . I am puzzled at what is causing this.

I have no issues at all running my Nvidia cards but can't get the AMD to stay up and running.

Using Windows 7 64bit driver 13.12. I thought maybe driver issue but someone else posted same issue using driver 14.7 on Windows 7, though not sure if they are on 32 or 64 bit.

i think you should try 14.4 at least or maybe even 14.9
but it does sound more like a heat problem or maybe faulty hardware

Yea sounds tht way to me too, maybe the fan speed is not high enough allowing card to overheat. I've started a new miner before and not noticed the fan was barely running untill it overheated and crashed the comp.

I'm getting 9.3 Mh/s on my 290x bf4 an 3.6 Mh/s on hd7850. Didn't do much tweaking last night as I was late getting my cards launched but Today Im going try to tweak alittle more but overall the miners seem to be stable. One rig is running windows 8.1 x64 w 14.7 drivers and the other windows 7 x64 14.6 drivers

Not faulty cards as this only happens with this miner and not heat issue. fans running at 75% on both cards and they are at 55° and 50°.

Pushing the cards to hard? Possibility here is my bat: --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 19 --worksize 256 -g 2 also both cards are at Core: 1050 and Mem: 1550

Getting 6.6 Mh/s on my 280X and 4.3 Mh/s on my 270X.

GUY PLZ HELP BEEN MINING FROM START(SUPRANOVA POOL)  i am geting coins but my sgminer keep crashing iv tryed to put a backup pool but it dont change to it because it crash keep geting (waiting for work from pool) b4 the crash. but this error pop up ever 5-10 mins IS any1 fixing this?? or do any1 no why this keep crashing because iv lost 5 hours mining because of crash. PLZ HELP :}              LOVE THE NEW ALGO Smiley

IM ON WINDOWS 7 AMD 14.7 DRIVERS

Did you try the updated miner?

I was having the same issue where it would do that but so far so good (let me find some wood to knock on). I am also on Windows 7 but different driver so I don't think it is a driver issue.

You can share your .bat file here and a screenshot of the error, how many cards do you have?

Here is my bat for the computer with the wallet and 750ti's (total of 5):   skminer.exe 127.0.0.1 9325 5 20

On the image I don't have an account anywhere to upload and not sure how to insert but it says

Initializing Miner 127.0.0.1:9325 Threads = 5 Timeout = 20
connected to 127.0.0.1:9325...
[Master] Failed to Update Height
Connected to 127.0.01:9325...
[Master] Failed to Update Height
Repeats this until I terminate the miner

The computer with the 970 shows the same thing except for the 127.0.0.1 it has the ip address of the computer with the wallet running.

I have a config file to solo from another computer and it is:
rpcuser=MYUSER
rpcpassword=MYPASS
rpcallowip=127.0.0.*
rpcport=9325
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1

The wallet was created with a short cut and I went into properties and added the -server.

This is always how I have solo mined and haven't had any issues.

Your problem was that you've specified in the config file the rpcport=9325. This wallet has a separate channel and protocol (LLP) with a separate port to communicate with the solo miner. It doesn't uses RPC for it and the default RPC port is different.
[/quote]

Thanks for the explanation mumus.

I was just so used to solo mining I never thought about not needing the rpcport in or even needing a config file.

try this:
1. Create new wallet.dat (remember to make a backup of the previous if you have some coins in it)
2. delete the .conf file
3. open the wallet.
4. open the miner (mumus version) with this configuration:
Code:
skminer.exe 127.0.0.1 9325 5

all this on the same computer you have 5 GTX 750ti and wallet.
On the computer that has the GTX 970, install the wallet and then follow the steps above.

Edit: The .conf file is not required. It's late here 4:00 a.m. I go to sleep.
Cheers!

Awesome. That did it.

The 5 750ti's are mining at 93,700 kh/s with a really big one every now and then, 111,663,099,635,905 kh/s

The 970 is working too the rig with the wallet at 42,500 kh/s with one big one every now and then 1,140,165,890,007,893 kh/s

I'll send you some coins when I find a block. Post your address.

Thanks again.

@antonio8

Are you using a password protected wallet?

@hero18688

No pool yet but Videlicet will soon release an open source pool.

@Supercomputing

I did not do the encryption on it. I am not sure if it comes encrypted.

I just opened it and let it sync. it says block 28,078

I wonder if my problem is because I have the wallet on another computer than the cards mining?

may be causing the problem, try the wallet on the same computer where you have your GPU, you can omit "threads".

Same issue.

I have been trying to read on this issue with the failed to update height. I tried changing the timeout from 10 to 20 to 30 with no luck. Assign "thread" with different gpu and with out anything there. Same issue.

I also read to make sure the miner version and wallet version are both up to date. I am on the wallet 0.1.0.1b but not sure the miner version I am running.

Wallet shows I am up to date on block 27,968

two binaries for windows, try both.

GPU CUDA Miner Release...
Windows CUDA Binaries

Hi,
After all the miner is working, I've succeed to find blocks both on testnet and main net but it takes some time.  The trick is that  the above mentioned throughput  parameter has to be lowered or the number of threads (which was hard coded to 4) must be lowered. Currently with a single 750ti I can get about 16Mhash/s which was enough to get around 1 block/hour after running 3-4h.
In case someone  else want to give a try, here is an updated binary where the number of threads can be specified as a parameter after the port number. (for example: skminer.exe 127.0.0.1 9325 1) I use 1 thread for my single card.
https://mega.co.nz/#!SYlHEA5b!LBCpXiW9YRAi1-5opgaMbXMO4N3Xux6o6MMrKLbrQC0

enerbyte,

I really appreciate the help you have given me. Unfortunately neither of those two work. I have redownloaded and tried them again.

The first one that has the GPU CUDA Miner Release... No matter what I put in the bat for the threads or timeout it stays at threads of 4 which is how many gpus I have in my system and the timeout stays at the default of 10 even if I change it in the bat.

The second one will change the threads and timeout but I still get that error.

I must admit defeat on this coin. It was more of me wanting to try and mine it as just to do it so I can say to myself I got it going. It didn't work for either my 970 or 750ti. It kind of made me feel like getting started mining xmr and creating the wallet.

I'll follow the thread off and on but I can't spend another full day trying to get it going.

Thanks again. I was hoping to be able to send you a block if I found one for your time.

Anyone running Nvidia cards that might be able to help with parameters to run.

I can't get this thing going for nothing.

skminer.exe -o SOLO IP:PORT -u USER -p PASSWORD -d 0

I tried the "N" but nothing. Don't know if I need the "-a".

Code:
skminer.exe 127.0.0.1 9325 3

skminer.exe IP PORT THREADS

this should work, although there are some cards that have problems with the miner.

Thanks so much. I get it now. Was so used to having the -o -u -p in the bat.

I must have those cards. i get connected to, my ip and port but then get Failed to Update Height. So maybe this is a no go for me.

@ bigreddmachine

Sorry I wasn't understanding it earlier. I had to get the other way of doing bats out of my head.

Been a rough day, today.
