Question about how the waves tokens are being distributed. My understanding is 85 million waves will be distributed evenly amongst ICO investors. As of right now, there have been 9598.94922748 btc invested according to https://ico.wavesplatform.com/. I have invested 2 btc and have a total of 15,805.06898561 Waves. By my math, 85,000,000 tokens / 9598.94922748 btc = 8855.13590973696 tokens per bitcoin 2 bitcoins * 8855.13590973696 token/bitcoin = 17,710.27181947392 tokens 17,710.27181947392 (expected) tokens - 15,805.06898561 (actual) tokens = 1,905.20283386392 (unaccounted for) tokens I also invested during the 5% bonus phase. So why the discrepancy? Seems like I'm almost 2k tokens short and that figure doesn't account for the 5% bonus either. You haven`t included bonuses while calculating your balance, (amount of BTC during 20% * 1.2 + amount of BTC during 10% * 1.1 + amount of BTC during 5% * 1.05 + amount of BTC in period without bonus ) = Total BTC with bonuses, your share is your BTC * your bonus, your Waves balance = (your share/total BTC with bonuses)*85 Mil |

I'm sure this has been asked already but if we bought in the bonus periods will the bonus % amount appear as part of our Balance on the ICO dashboard or is it calculated and added after?

While you were buying in bonus periods for example 1 BTC, your balance was being calculated as if you were depositing 1.2 BTC, 1.1 BTC, 1.05 BTC. It is already added from the moment of your transaction. |

How can waves be traded on centralized exchanges?
With a pseudo waves token? on which blockchain? the nxt asset exchange is totally crap with absolute no volume, i would not like to trade there.
So therefor asking for a centralized exchange, because there is volume, because they are having pro market maker and base of customers (traders, pro or semi-pro). But how do you want to make them trade your waves token without a blockchain running?
Just asking, in case of positive response from the mods here, i would think of buying some. But anyway, I will get the faucet waves from your ad campaign.

Those ETH, DAO and Dash as far as i know have wallets too. Is there going to be a Windows wallet released for this new coin ? I like to keep my coins in my desktop wallet and to this day I only dealt with Bitcoin and Litecoin, so I know really nothing about these new coins like Etherium, DAO, Dash...
Lite client will have offline wallet storage option and you will be able to run it on any device so it will be much simpler to use for the end-users. That's a good thing. Maybe you will also have a web wallet as an option for thoes who only have few waves like me. Hard drive wallet is great though, synchronizing however is just a pain in the ass. ^ Lite client with no blockchain download, connecting instantly which you will be able to run on any device in your browser. You will be able to import and use it quickly on different devices also. No blockchain sync needed. How about running a full node? Are there any benefits in doing so, other than strengthening the network? Of course, details will be in tech paper. Full node will be sharing its rewards with the lite clients which are leasing their balance to it. Will I be able to use the lite client on Window and on Linux please Yes. |
