981  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: October 20, 2016, 07:18:49 AM
Recently, i often see discussion about Bitcoin Bank. More and more people come here and ask about bitcoin bank & surprisingly i see few user agree with this idea.
So, i would like to find out the percentage of user who agreed with this idea.

Honestly, i think this idea is stupid and worst idea that i've seen in my life. What do you think?
p.s. we don't talk about bitcoin debit card.

i think the idea of bitcoin banks comes mainly from the fact that people are looking for some kind of investment and they look for profit to deposit their bitcoin into some kind of a bank and receive annul profit. but also it is because of the fact that so many newbies come from the old banking system and people who don't understand bitcoin want to use it the same way as they use fiat.

Bitcoin bank can be a good idea but there is a lot of factors to consider. First who operates the bank. In country, the local banks are all backed by the local government so the banks cant run away with the money. Are we able to have such a secure plan to ensure that the bitcoin bank wont run away?
982  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2016, 07:16:33 AM
I start off with btc is because i am buying and selling digital goods. And then people start to accept btc and there is certain more discount for paying with btc. And i realise it is a very good payment method as it is seller protected, unlike paypal which I always have problem with chargeback by scammers.
983  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any safe way to grow my bitcoins ? on: October 19, 2016, 03:47:38 AM
The only way i do know to grow bitcoin is working, or providing some service, os be at signature campaing, besides those people does consider the rest a waste of time soo why not try sport betting.

The risk that comes with sport betting is high and some people don't know when to actually quit whether winning or losing. You need to have self discipline when going for sport betting

I don't recommend gambling for growing your bitcoins and that is not safe at all. And anything or if you wanted to grow your bitcoins there is no safe way on it, just always remember that. And in sports betting instead that you are going to get good profit or grow your bitcoins possibly that you are going to lose your bitcoins or investments there.

I tried to follow some sport predictions as they have proven themselves that they have earned a certain ROI by their own predictions. However, so far i have tried 2 times, i end up losing more than i can profit. I dont know if i am unable to follow them at a bad time but gambling is really not a thing for me.
984  Other / Off-topic / Re: What value does Bitcoin bring to you? on: October 19, 2016, 03:45:14 AM
Hi,

  • Why do you use Bitcoin instead of FIAT currencies?
  • What value does Bitcoin bring you that normal currencies do not?

If we want to make crypto currencies popular we need to agree on what makes them BETTER than the FIAT ones.
WE NEED TO SPEAK IN TERMS OF VALUES!

I admit that I use Bitcoin just because I'm curious of new technology, but I strongly believe that it can prosper in many fields! But why and how, I ask.

How would you persuade your grandma or child to use BTC?

What makes Bitcoin better?

I like Bitcoin as the way it is.

Decentralized
Transparent
Peer to Peer finance exchange

Well, it hadn't give any values to my life as the way I live it. But, it got me a name as Weird guy in my locality. Whenever, I talk about bitcoin here, they'll always give What's he talking about? look.  Tongue
It is a great desire to see bitcoin by price more than $ 1k per coin btc. It is possible and even becomes. It's a happy future for all users.

I am been eyeing for the $1k mark and i still believe it will eventually came. From now till then, i will patiently wait while trying to accumulate more btc. Not very aggressive into buying btc but a little at a month.
985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: October 19, 2016, 03:43:17 AM
Here in our country we can buy bitcoin at 7-11 shops here. They are selling bitcoins, But unfortunatelly they are not accepting bitcoin as payment to their goods. they are just selling it. But i am withdrawing my bitcoins in a bank that is affiliated with our wallet that is personally design for our country

Your referring to coins.ph wallet? Because  im  using the same  wallet too on which you could  only buy bitcoins but  you cant  use them to  buy on their  goods  and services  but still its a good feature and also  this wallet  could able to make  you shop online and  other services  like paying bills, mobile loads and more. Bitcoin shops  on cities would  be a really good  thing but it would  take time for sure.

Same for my country. We have one btc atm here but we can only use it to buy/sell btc. Beside that, it does not tight to any retailers for us to spend btc on. So in my country, btc is just like a digital beautiful vase with no purpose as of now.
986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: October 19, 2016, 03:41:01 AM
There is a minimal chance that this will happen but of course it could be possible, the bitcoin is already so big that it cannot disappear right away in my eyes.
It would take years to destroy it fully..
And I believe it will not happen soon, we will be enjoying more the benefits of using bitcoin. It is the new digital currency that is going to be useful for the people who love to transact online as it can help them save for the expenses on the fees, so I guess it will not be destroyed or will disappear, unless the government ban this.

Even though  government  would  ban bitcoin there would  be still transaction  underground  which we could really say that bitcoin would  not  disappear anytime soon  as  long  its been  used  by  people.  You are right  there  are  lots of   benefits we could  make  in  bitcoin thats  why  we  cant think as of  now that  it would  disappear.

At this moment, bitcoin has a lot of benefit and that is why it is attracting a lot of people. First it is the ease of trading across the global. With no 3 days waiting, no bank to bank transaction fee, no conversion rate problems, fast and secure, one of the lowest fee for buying and selling platform, the demand for btc is sure to increase during these few years.
987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: October 19, 2016, 03:34:42 AM
yes there are a lot of problems that people are facing to me the big problem that i am facing is that it is not legal in our area and we are playing gambling illegally, and  therefore i want my country to legalize it.

There may be some ways that the country allows the legal gambling. You can try to go to these area to gamble. However, it may be very limited. For my casino, gambling is illegal everywhere but there are station controlled by government for you to play bets on sports and lottery.
988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Games Are So Much Fun on: October 19, 2016, 03:29:25 AM
I am getting the hang of them more and more, and it's so hard not to bet everything away, LOL! My fav is freebitco.in though. Gosh... I have 20k sat there from the faucet, and all I want to do is use it all for betting, ha!

I am not addicted; the 20k is still there, but wow... I have an itch to scratch for sure.
Dice can be fun when you play it for the first couple of time but after that I think that it becomes really old really quick and I cannot play it for to long.
I can do a couple of rounds but after that I like to play a other gambling game.

I love doing some dice games but if a casino have only a dice game I would not do it for a long time on that casino.
I do not like to play dices for a long time because it indeed gets boring after some time.

Dice is fun but like every casino, it is good to have a variety so that customers can be retain longer for them to try out different type of gambling. I also tend to switch around from dice to live table games and to maybe slot machine before going back to dice.
I much prefer dice games in real casinos or i am the one or other people who will roll the dice in hands its not boring at all unlike playing dice in online that is programed by the setting of gambling house.

Dice game in real casino is different from the dice game that we have in the btc casino. The dice game in real life casino has a much higher house edge as compare to the dice game in btc casino. However, like what you say, with human interactions and the lovely environment, playing there even with higher house edge can be a plus experience.
989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: October 19, 2016, 03:26:59 AM
I think every gambler should learn that, gambling should not be think as an easy way of making money becuase when i was a newbie in gambling i also thought the same and my friends also and i think its same with everyone who comes new to gambling. But there is no way to make easy profit from gambling.

Well gambling is going to be one of the fastest way to have profits if you are going to be a lucky guy. But to determine on how you are going to be lucky on each day is going to be predictable with the percentage of 0.000001% so in reality the chance of having an easy profit with gambling is really hard to make and to consider.

With the ability to double your money within seconds, it come with extremely high risk. So to earn money, we need to consider rewards and risk. In gambling, the risk is higher than rewards so naturally gambling is not a good tool for making money. On the other hand, investing in casino can be quite a good investment tool.
990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: October 19, 2016, 03:25:11 AM
Gambling becomes addicting when you are winning specially if it is your first time of playing it. Because you are going to think that you are lucky on it and you will start on betting all money that you have because you are thinking that you are going to win always because you thought that you are good at it. But did you win after betting a huge amount of BTC in a row? No, right? Because you can never win against the house specially when you bet a really huge amount because the house already planned it for everyone who plays gambling.

There has been a case study whereby they interview gamblers. It is found out that if you win on the first time, the likelyhood that you will become a frequent gambler is a lot higher than those who lose on their first time. So winning on the first time may not be that good new overall.
991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: October 19, 2016, 03:10:52 AM
I guess there's no chance we'll be profitable everyday, not even the professionals I guess. If that would be possible then maybe most of us here are already rich and gambling sites will not boom as we have witness nowadays. Maybe, we can only win and become rich when we hit a big jackpot price like a lottery.
Someone would be rich if they are hit the jackpot in slot or lottery in some cases , as you said we can't win everyday even you're professional gamblers who plays on lucky-based games (dice , slot , roulette , etc) .
But on some peoples , who loves sport they can gain lot of profit from sportsbetting because some sport fanatic who keep tracking about sport's update can predicts which one would be win (But , we don't know what happened in that match even you're betting in low odds)

Jackpot is not a good gambling tool. Although you can potential win a huge money, the chance is extremely low. Lottery also have one of the highest house edge so that means you are more likely to lose than win. But once you manage to win, you can laugh back at me for the rest of your life.
992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling is Fun? on: October 19, 2016, 12:06:48 AM
Gambling is nice to do because its enjoying and the game is also fun to play, of course this is different per person but I think that is from what we enjoyed these days.
Gambling is very nice to do and its also that you can do it when you have some spare time.
do you think that gambling is nice  and having fun in it if you even lose your money in gambling? to me gambling is not fun if i am loosing money and there is only fun if am making money in gambling.

Depend on what type of gambling you are talking about. Some people like to bet on sports because it makes the game more exciting and you are more involved in it. The win or lose wont cause much changes to your cash but the people still continue to bet small bets.
993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I never made any profits in dice game.. whats is your opinion on: October 19, 2016, 12:04:43 AM
I also never make any profit from dice except during my first time playing. My first time playing, i manage to win like 120% of my bankroll. So i thought some strategy may work. However, it turned out quite badly on the 2nd time and the subsequent times playing. Since then, i have never won once in dice game.
994  Economy / Gambling / Re: Monthly Best Gambling Site (october) on: October 19, 2016, 12:02:52 AM
I have chose betcoin because i love the simple layout and design. It makes me easy to find what i want too. It offers a variety of different gameplay so when i am bored with one type of gameplay, i can switch to another one. Worth checking it out.

Woa, that sounds so amazing. It is still better than my country. It tried to have one of the first few btc atm in the central area where the crowd is amazing. However, no one use it and it was later taken away. Btc just cant seem to improve in my country.
997  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: October 18, 2016, 11:50:31 PM
There has already been a private bitcoin bank. It is a china based company. So what you did is that you can deposit your money into this bank and it will grow interest. It is very little like 1% per year and if you want higher rate, you can do fix deposit for a few months and the % varies. The owner will take your money to buy more hash equipment to hash for more btc.
998  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Bitcoin designed to last forever? on: October 18, 2016, 11:48:33 PM
Nothing lasts forever, but if the internet stays the same and we will have some liberty in the future, then bitcoin should last at least our lifetime and possibly our childrens lifetime.

But eventually it will be replaced by a coin better designed, although I dont expect this in my lifetime, so i will remain with bitcoin.

Yah, it will definitely be a long run for btc but no one can promise that btc will still be around after 100 or even thousand years later. Maybe there will be more technology advancement and a better digital coin can be implemented with more efficiency.
999  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you like to pay bills using bitcoins while staying at home? on: October 18, 2016, 11:47:14 PM
If it was possible then it would be awesome because to pay bill with traditional bank system it takes lot of process like OTP verification password, account number and lots of boring stuffs so if it was possible with bitcoin then we could transact in few seconds that too without any hassle.

Personally, i still prefer to use bank to pay for my home expenses.
1. This is because i already have done the payment using online platform too so there is no need for me to go out to pay bills.
2. I can apply for monthly auto deduction from my bank account. BTC cant do that yet.
3. There is no fee for payment. Btc still have fees.
4. The transfer is immediate, sometime btc still need to wait for confirmation.

For me trading is the best way to grow my coins as I am into trading since long time and making good profits regularly no doubt even I make loss sometimes but that can be recovered again.

Can share on how you can trade to make profit from btc? Do you use skills like Technical analysis or Fundamental analysis? I have try to trade but i always end up losing more than profiting.
