981  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Everything Bullish Thread (Bullish Media Center) on: November 15, 2015, 08:37:31 AM

Where are they which claimed that Visa or MasterCard will remain away from blockchain and peer to peer technology? Where are they which claimed that PayPal will remain away from digital currency? Have no voice now. And this is only the beginning. To much money will be invested in such disruptive technology. Almost all (will remain only the losers) will applied this wonderful invention. And cannot do otherwise. This technology not only cut the costs but give more money. Who is (or will be) the stupid which would not want this...
982  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price is crashing right now.. get out now or lose all your money on: November 15, 2015, 08:13:29 AM
24hr change: - 4.99%

Today are 5 days later and the price is yet not crashed. It is not so high as it was one or two weeks ago but yet is not crashed. It is slowly going down but even staying "alive". It is yet not to few higher than the day of the beginning of the increase. No one can know where and when it will be stopped this going slowly down with stable periods in middle of those. But I don't believe that will be crashed. Maximum will go at the beginning point, according to me. Even I don't name myself as a good predictor (with bitcoin cannot be no one) it will be better to live without panic because, first of all, do bad even for the health.  Wink
983  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price: + OR - the next 7 days? on: November 15, 2015, 06:48:46 AM
It's is gone a little more than the week asked by you and the price was move down. Not to much and not at the beginning level but yet down comparing to the day you made your post and me made mine. You, even with my suggestion did not changed your main post. Behh, today we can tell that was not need to do such thing. The price is clearly down of the 390 us dollar registered by me in the moment of my post. It is not a good sign this. Slowly bitcoin is going to its initial price and this is not good. If this will become true, the meaning of all the story with its price happen at the first days of November is supposed to be an pure speculation. If it will be product of an real increased demand there must be lowered (the price) but not at the level of the beginning. But is yet hope. Lets not call dead that which is yet in life.
984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many coins are proved to be in possesion of governments? on: November 15, 2015, 06:24:17 AM
We all know about the silk road story and USG seizing 144.000 coins from DPR and some 30k coins from the market place.

I've got two qestions:

How many of those coins are still not auctioned?
Are there any other stories of governments owning bitcoins?

I think that The Authorities which had the bitcoins of Silk Road have sold those all. I think even that the Government of USA have not bitcoin and don't care to have bitcoins. Are nothing for their needs. Have any interest to have such kind of currency. They have the us dollar through which they rule all the actual monetary world. They can use the us dollar to have everything they want and they can have as much us dollar as they want. Why care for bitcoin which is nothing for them and is known yes or not from only less of 1% of the world population?
985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was predicted by a Nobel Laureate in 1999 !!! on: November 15, 2015, 06:16:04 AM
"The one thing that's missing, but that will soon be developed, it's a reliable e-cash. A method where buying on the internet you can transfer funds from A to B, without A knowing B or B knowing A. The way in which I can take a 20 dollar bill and hand it over to you and there's no record of where it came from. And you may get that without knowing who I am. That kind of thing will develop on the Internet."

- Nobel Laureate Milton Friedman in 1999

The Interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MnQJFEVY7s

Friedman is a giant. the Nobel is to few for him. To many thing was "predicted" by him and were verified. This prediction I hear for the first time. But make me to respect even more him. Are to many other him's predictions which wait to be verified. I am giving below another one which I like to much and is something that have to do with the above write at the main post. Here him's thought (I like to call prediction that must becaome true in the future; maybe spreading and re framing in a wider way the above prediction):

“We don’t need a Fed,” Milton Friedman says, twirling a letter opener as he speaks. “I have, for many years, been in favor of replacing the Fed with a computer,” he adds. Each year, it “would print out a specified number of paper dollars” to augment the money supply. “Same number, month after month, week after week, year after year.”

Read the entire interview here: http://www.cato.org/publications/commentary/milton-rose-friedman-offer-radical-ideas-21st-century

Imagine if the e-cash predicted in the main post be the stamped money by the computer. Can be, in the essence, the same but expressed in different way.
986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FBI Agent Threatens to Kill Silk Road Architect, Ulbricht’s Family for Bitcoin ! on: November 15, 2015, 06:03:47 AM
What the actual fuck ..  Shocked

Diamond, which is believed to be an online alias of an unknown corrupt FBI agent, has been threatening to kill Silk Road Architect Variety Jones and torture Ross Ulbricht’s mother and sister to obtain the password to an encrypted bitcoin wallet containing over 300,000 BTC or US$70 million which previously belonged to Ulbricht, the creator of the Silk Road.

Diamond believed that Variety Jones, with his involvement in creating the Silk Road could help him gain access to the funds. “He wants me to move to Singapore, where he can set up a safe house and know that I'm clear of the clutches of the DOJ,” claimed Jones on the MyPlantGanja forum.

Furthermore, Jones claims that Diamond provided classified information about the Silk Road investigation ahead of time, specifically about former special agents Carl Mark Force IV and Shaun Bridges, to U.S. law enforcement officials charged for moving the seized funds during the Silk Road investigation to their private bitcoin and bank accounts. Since only high ranking members of the FBI have the power and authority over this type of information, the information on the two agents convinced Jones to believe that Diamond is an FBI official.

He continued:

Quote
“I wasn't taking him serious in the beginning, and even once I realized he was who he said, and he was amassing millions of dollars in ill gotten gains, it wasn't until he started obsessing on the kidnappings, that I realized I had a lunatic on my hands. A lunatic highly placed in the FBI, with a massive off the books private budget, who thought that kidnapping and torture were the solution to his problems, and he starting to get a few other screws loose, as well. I do know how to pick my enemies.”

Continue reading at : http://cointelegraph.com/news/115346/fbi-agent-threatens-to-kill-silk-road-architect-ulbrichts-family-for-bitcoin

I don't want to believe this. It is not this the behavior that must have an civil servant. If he has evidence of this fact he can process them in the court and send them to jail (and there maybe there will be them whom will talk to not do the jail). But to threatening that is excessively. Then if all the story would be known (as it is actually) he cannot do nothing even if them can be guilty. Because there will be them to process him and maybe even win the the court case. The conclusion: no only lack of money but even punishment.
987  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] COINUT.COM ★ Signature Campaign ★ Pay per post ★ Weekly ★ on: November 15, 2015, 05:18:39 AM
OK enough is enough... payment for Campaign Period : 31st Oct to 6th Nov 2015. now very overdue... Only 33 people are due for a payment how difficult can that be?

When will the payment be made?

Thanks  Rich

I got mail that i got paid about 20 hours ago. I did not checked Coinut webpage, but got mail about it.

Me to had the email and had even the bitcoins of my 80 posts (made 31 October - 8 November) at my coinut account (counted and paid using the new rates for all my paid posts). I had their notification more than 24 hours ago and I asked to have those in my wallet but since this moment no any news from them. According to the warning which is showed when you made the request to have your bitcoins the time they want to send the bitcoins is 24 hours. This time is already gone since 6 hours but I have not signs of my bitcoins.
988  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: best bitcoin mining trading site on: November 14, 2015, 03:29:14 PM
tell me best bitcoin mining and trading site

About mining I can tell you another thing. Don't mine because is to risky and with much probability you will lose money not earn. Whatever it will be the mining (will mine yourself or will chose cloud mining) the risks are to many and don't worth the money used or the try to have earnings. I have tried both of those in different time and always the earnings (when were) were totally indifferent. Then I can tell even those: most of the cloud mining sites actually in activity are scams or offer ridiculous earnings. The other honest ones tell openly that the cloud mining is not profitable:

See for more at the FAQ of cex.io, the first question in the section of Cloud Mining:

Read even the comments.

As for trading I suggest coinbase (if active when you live).
989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I doubled my bitcoin in last 3 months. How do you make money(bitcoin) online? on: November 14, 2015, 02:33:42 PM
There are a number of ways to make money online with or without a website.
I doubled my bitcoin(10BTC into 20BTC) in the last 90 days by investing to some online investment programs and some p2p loans.
No risks, no gain; More risks, more gains.  Forgive me, I won't expose and recommend the project which I doubled my bitcoin, as I know that it is very risky to invest in this kind of investment projects and need to do lots of research before investing my money.  This way maybe fit for me to make bitcoin, but not for everyone.

What way do you do it?

I tried to increase the number of my bitcoins investing initially in mining myself. At the beginning with my gpu. Earned very few. Then tried to invest in cloud mining sites. At the first have doubled (end even e few more) the bitcoin invested. At the second earned my invested money. At the third lost almost all the investment. the results of overall actions in clod mining was a little earning (because even the investments was few: needed to prove the credibility of site at the beginning so the amount invested were few). There are about two-three months that participate in signature campaign and the earnings are not indifferent (for the amounts which I talk). Then at the beginning participate in some kind of games organised from a site online (not more now) and had almost 1 bitcoin from those. Other 1.5 from the above actions make 2.5 bitcoin which are overall amount I had from my online activity. Not to much compared to those bought beginning two years ago (the first 4 bitcoin when the price was about 60 us dollar one bitcoin).

But I make a big investment with high risk. Hoping to have more. Now those are blocked in an investment which, as I see, have big probabilities to be lost. The hope die last but the hopes to have again those (are not few but invested when the value of bitcoin was low so seemed a little amount when was invested) are very, very few. If I would have those in my wallet I would consider myself as a well holder bitcoin person. This kind of investment make me feel bad when remember it. I invested to many bitcoin there and I must not to do this. But was new in the world of bitcoin and full of hopes about investments in this invention. Having faith in the people which taken those. Hope that they will be such. Even the fault of the actual situation is not largely theirs.
990  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] COINUT.COM ★ Signature Campaign ★ Pay per post ★ Weekly ★ on: November 14, 2015, 01:09:56 PM
I have contact him but I'm lack response from him  Sad
I can't do nothing about payment
I don't have a problem with what you are doing, as you are not to blame. You count posts and such, not deliver payment.

He is managing the campaign, so he is counting the posts and should give the correct rate per post.
As wangxinxi said we should be paid with the old rate if the posts where before the announcement.
So in the spreadsheet the users that removed the signature has old rate and the rest have the new rates which is unfair.
This is just for izanagi, and i think that most (probably all) agree with me about this case of different rates which i consider dirty scam.
I never had any problem with coinut campaign but ignoring so many posts pushes me to open a scam report as an only way to solve this problem.
Send him a PM or post here with what your payout should be and with sufficient proof (An archive.is link or some sort of archiving method, maybe a screenshot). If you don't have proof then don't bother; a word is worth nothing.

Why must send him a PM? He must do its work as it needed. Why must do us him's work. But even if we made this he work as he want. I made a post about him's behavior about my big post when I explained the number of posts made the previous week when I was member in this campaign. He ignored totally this post.

As for the payment it is easy to find the number of posts which would be paid with the old rates and which with new rates. But he don't want to do this. At least not for all the members. He don't like some and don't give the right rates and like some others and give the right rates. For the firsts leave all as it is. I have received my payment and is everything calculated with the new rates. Made more than 120 posts (50% more publicity than needed for the business) and had as a gratitude the counting of all the needed posts with the new rates.

Sometime sending PM is a good way to solve a problem because the probability to be read is better than just by posting. Sometime we dont have enough time or a bit lazy to read some previous pages in a thread.
Regarding the payrate of the previous period, I think there is a miscommunication between wangxinxi and izanagi. So I think its better for both to discuss it clearly before payment.

As I have read since the first day in that campaign izanagi never answered to the pm sent to him. This is the first thing. Then this is not only a mine problem to sent him pm. It is a problem for ALL. Have no meaning to sent him pm all the members of the signature campaign. Then why sent pm for something that is him's duty? Why don't do its job as it is needed? Why ignore all us doing something wrong for all the members who remained at the campaign and do the right job for them who leaved? It is nonsense but it is a fact. All the complains I have read come from the members of campaign. Seems like he don't wanted us in the campaign. When must be very interested to calculate all their earnings with the maximum of responsibility. They respected their decision to decrease the rates and accepted to remain in the campaign even with the lowered rates. Him's action want to tell: goes even you. We don't need you more.

Then in my case the problem was double. He put in the previous week even two days of posts of the next (actual) week. After one my big posts which explained everything. So I had two days of this week calculated with the previous one. And for more this problem was discussed even before the mentioned post in the previous my sentence. At this first post he answered with only one word: Noted. Was correct only one week and the next week did again the same "error". Is the case which we are discussing. So tell me what must to think me about this new repeated case. For sure was made intentionally. Why did this? Easy to understand. The first option is to tell me I can do everything I want and you cannot do nothing to me. The second is to profit from my work. He know that I will try again to arrive the maximum of posts even with 5 days. In this way he will have much more publicity than in the previous case. Gratis. What is the name of this? Robbery? Exploitation? Add to this the fact that all my 80 posts was calculated with the new rate when more than 60 must be calculated with the old one (were made before the announcement of wangxinxi) and you will have all the picture of this story. Now my question: why me need to send a pm to him? To please to not be thief and to give me the money of my work. Or to give me the two days stolen from this week? Why must do this to him? Why must give such importance to him? After to many polite tentatives to have only that which is mine? He will scorns with me and my pm as have made since today with him's actions. I wouldn't do this never. I don't know what would you did in my place but I never can do such thing. Better go without telling nothing (or making some posts to explain my behavior) and see my life leaving him in him's misery than communicate with someone which at the beginning had my gratitude and at this end only my compassion.

992  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much Bitcoin have you donated? on: November 14, 2015, 08:18:08 AM
How many Bitcoin have you donated to charity or organization? I only donated... (a shame Embarrassed) 5000 Satoshi the other day using a faucet. I was lucky enough to hit the jackpot and got myself 7500 Satoshi. I saw there was a donate (to charity) button and so I decided to donate 5000 Satoshi. I know 5000 Satoshi might be worthless but... At least I help someone by.. a bit.

What about you? How much Bitcoin have you donated out? Please dont answer like .. "I send 1 BTC to a unknown address and never get back. I'll take it as a donation" or "I lost 2 BTC to PrimeDice. I'll take it as a donation.".

Edit: Check out the awesome list of charities which accept Bitcoin as donation. http://bitcoin100.org/charities/.

First important thing which must be noted in this case (in general) is that, someone, must have in order to donate. So if someone don't have or have very few, and for more earned with to much difficulty, even if he/she may have the desire to donate cannot do this. Following this reasoning I have few bitcoins, mostly bought with money earned with to much difficulty and sweat. Money removed from my little familiar budget which mean impossibility to do other necessary things for my family and myself. Now I am asking to you: Have meaning to donate something from those bitcoins? Even if you would answer yes I cannot satisfy your desire. I haven't donated never bitcoin and probably (if I will continue to be in the same situation) I will not donate bitcoins never. Even because I believe that bitcoin will have big value one day and is a wastage to spread those in this way. Maybe I can donate my local money to someone in need or in difficulty (and I made this sometimes) but this is not connected with the aim of this thread. So have not relevance.
993  Other / Off-topic / Re: Password Creator recommendations? on: November 14, 2015, 07:56:08 AM
Hey folks,

do you have a recommendation for a good password manager? Which do you use?

Thanks in advance

You may found tens of those doing a simple search in google. With all the best and shortage characteristics. Why must ask here when you can have only two-three founded by someone which have not used and tried (so have no knowledge about) the others. I personally have heard good words about RoboForm but have not used it (don't prefer to use password manager) and haven't tried or heard nothing about others. So doesn't mean that can be the best one. Anyhow I am giving you below two links with the bests password managers (according to specialized people or magazines) which match all the needed characteristics such product may have and another link with the basic knowledges about those. In this way you can create yourself a full idea about those and having these knowledges make then the best choice which can fit better your needs.

I have 1/8 of a bitcoin I want to sell.  What companies are best (reliable) to sell to?  And as far as that goes, is BitPesa a reliable company to deal with, as far as sending money overseas?  Who has used them?  comments please!

I don't know in which country you live because depending of the country is even the value which have for you that 1/8 bitcoin. Then I don't even the reason for which you want to change those. If the amount have from the change it is an important amount in your country and you need the money will have from this action there are to many possibilities to do this change which are shown above or even BitPesa which is the main processor used in Africa (from one the countries of this continent you must be).

But if you have no need for that amount of money and want to sell only to have some money to spend with your friends I would advice you to not change those. Most of your money will go in fee and you will have (in every case and every processor you may use) at the end almost nothing in your pockets. Try to increase your bitcoins and not to sell those. It may be the possibility in the days to come to have much more money, in your local currency, from those.
995  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some hardcore bitcoin users don't believe in its 2020 glory, Why? on: November 14, 2015, 06:50:34 AM
Hi guys.  Smiley

Reading the comments in this forum and some other sources, I figured some well-informed and hardcore bitcoiners don't believe the long-term potential of BTC (say, 2020). Why?
I mean, we've all read the famous opinion that 10 years from now btc will be worth much more or nothing, but that comment belongs to the old days. After all this years of price increase from the age of 10K BTC pizzas to the age of $500 BTCs, how much is the chance of bitcoin to be worth nothing in the coming years?

And no, we are not talking about the usual altcoin advertising half bullish - half bearish forum spammer! The people I'm talking about are serious. They are a minority of BTC experts, as most of the knowledgeable and trustworthy people around here recommend buying and hodling BTC, but the minority that doesn't believe in it exists. If you're one of those people, please explain your reasons. Smiley

The 2020 is not much distant and cannot be told about big increases in that year. So the people you hear and told that it will not be a big price in that year maybe have reason to tell this "prediction". Anyhow I think that with bitcoin cannot be predicted nothing for sure because all its life has show that is unpredictable. But this even because of its qualities. It is a decentralized money and have no any kind of Authority which can "take care" about it. So "he" is like a "caressing child" who make what "can born on its head on a given moment". "He" obeys only to demand/supply low and no one can predict how it will be such report in every moment. We can try to affect but never can be able to command it. So we can try to make publicity, to speak, to spread and to propagate bitcoin but our efforts cannot be measured because no one can know which result these can produce. So the conclusion is the impossibility to know the future price of bitcoin.

As for me, I have big hopes in it. Leaving apart all the above reasonings I believe on it. I believe in a big spread of it, in its regulations in most of the important and democratic countries and in a very high price of it. But not in 2020, maybe not even in 2030. But beyond this year I have big hopes.
996  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: November 14, 2015, 06:16:59 AM
i have a little doubt about btc price in future.should i save btc for increasing value of bitcoin?

or maybe price of btc will be down in 5-10 year
just imagine about future of btc and tell me should i save bitcoins for future or not...?

What must to do is to decide yourself. The money are only yours so even the responsibility for those must be taken only by you. No one can know sure things about bitcoin. But there are theoretical reasonings which give probably scenarios about its price. But are only theoretical and the theory is not always the same thing with the practice. These reasons tell that the price of bitcoin will go very high in the future. Being bitcoins limited in number and being the people which will known and want it more and more it is easy to understand that when something is asked by the market more and always more then the price for that thing will be increased for sure. But if bitcoin will not be regulated this theory may not be verified, or worst, if banned (like is happen already in some countries) the above reasonings are in serious risks. Even exist the black market or the acting in illegality or behind the scenes which can hold live its price and its live these cannot secure a free use of it as you may want.
997  Economy / Economics / Re: Crazy Calculator - Shows true reality on: November 14, 2015, 05:58:27 AM
This is a pretty cool processing fee calculator that shows the true impact Bitcoin can have on the world economy. https://thecryptostore.com/index.php?id_cms=20&controller=cms

I don't know from come come this kind of calculator but I know that every transaction with bitcoin need for sure a fee otherwise the miners will "forget" about that amount and you maybe will have it at your destination after 3-4 month. When with the fee taken from the banks (sometimes no and sometimes yes, for some destination no and for some others yes, for some kind of services no and for some others yes) your money will go at the destination from 1 to maximum 5 days.

I like bitcoin but we must tell the things as these are. Otherwise we will lie ourselves.
998  Economy / Economics / Re: What Was Responsible for the Spike? on: November 14, 2015, 05:49:57 AM
What was responsible for the spike in bitcoin price early this week? Please give me all the possible reasons! Speculate. Thanks
How to buy bitcoins with credit cards/cash

I think the continues increase of demands from China. There were some days before the beginning of the rise of price that the price of bitcoin in the Chinese exchanges was higher (not less) than in the exchanges. This demand was continuous and without interruption. As such was inevitable the spread of it. The other exchanges begin to reflect the rise of price of the Chinese exchanges and then begin the story. Maybe there must be even some speculation. The result was the bubble of the last days. Which since today, cannot be called a simple and classic bubble, because the price is yet somewhat more high than the beginning one. Fact this which argues that the increase has within it for sure the increase of the real demand (come from China).
999  Economy / Speculation / Re: masterluc PLEASE come back ... on: November 14, 2015, 05:28:44 AM
Are we now in "the" historical wave or not? What do you say to the latest price movements?

Your wise advise is needed!

 Huh Huh Huh

If you can find something "historical" at the last events with the price of bitcoin, that mean that you are as new in understanding it as you are even here in bitcointalk. Bitcoin is yet a child, little child, it is known yes or not by much, much less of 1% of the population of the world and you call or mention at your post if an rise of its price (and then the drop of it) can be called "historical"? The story of bitcoin is yet at the early beginnings my friend. There is much, much more to write in this story. And the last event will have not any sign in this story. It will not be named at all. Read more about it and try to understand what mean its invention and is the desire and the aim of all the bitcoiners. Learn about the qualities of the technology from which it is created and what it is unique on it. Then maybe will be able to understand what does it mean to name historical some event connected with it.

What do you think is the best way to measure the popularity of Bitcoin? Some say that amount of transactions or used addresses are good measurements but in my opinion those are not really good.

As for me, I think that the best way to measure the popularity of bitcoin is its price and the way this its quality move in time. If the price remain stable that mean that the popularity is the same. If the price go high slowly and remain in amounts bigger than the previous ones that is the clear fact that the popularity is increased (slowly but increased). Maybe can be even that the existing users want more bitcoin. And in this case are not increase. But normally more popularity mean more need for bitcoin. The newbies want to own some bitcoin. So we will have increase of demand and the price will go high. If the price go high and they return at the same point this is a sign of speculation but maybe even a little increase of popularity. Because we can be in the situation when some buy and some sell. The increase may be a sign of increase of popularity. The speculation can bring the price in the same level. Anyhow the situations which can be created are to many. For sure can be told only that the increase and the not return at the same previous price is a clear sign of the increase of popularity.
