on August 18th we would finally have the complete picture of this year's champions league, predicting which of these 20 teams will pass is very difficult because apart from a few simple pairings, there are many balanced matches, but I try to give my personal list of ten teams that they will go through.
    • Copenhagen
    • Aris-limassol
    • PSV
    • Dynamo-Zagreb
    • Klaksvik
    • Galatasaray
    • SC Braga
    • Marseille
    • Maccabi haifa
    • Rangers

Here's who I think will pass the shift. A question arises, does the new format of the Champions League start from this year?
Here Everyone is going with his own statics and predictions because now things are looking much easier after few rounds, and we have just few teams from their few are really strong enough for going through into Champions League because now recently gape of quality is widening between many teams here I am also having my predictions with mostly are OK, but I believe Klaksvik vs Moldethis match is going to be interesting and Molde can qualify for the main round of the Champions League with their available sources and enough quality which is much better than Klaksvik all others are same as you already marked, and I am also going with these predictions hopefully these teams will give us good entertainment in coming matches.

I resume this discussion, as I told you the other day, Klaksvik is in my opinion much better than Molde despite Molde being much stronger on paper, yesterday the first leg was staged, won by Klaksvik 2-1 against Molde, it didn't surprise me much, it was what I expected, the return will be even more fought, 1 goal lead is not a certainty, we'll see

instead the results that surprised me are those of:
    • Copenhagen - Sparta Prague 0-0
    • Rakow - Aris limassol 2-1

Honestly, in the first leg of these matches I expected Copenhagen to win and draw between Rakov and Aris Limassol
983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 09, 2023, 07:24:57 AM
In your opinion, how true are the rumors about a hypothetical transfer of Herry Kane to Bayern Munich?
Apparently Tottenham have rejected the offer of 100 million from Bayern Munich and it seems that the president of the spurs has even gone on holiday.
Can Harry rest his soul and stay in the premier league once again? what do you think about it?
I think this is the most difficult transfer negotiation process in several seasons. Even I am surprised that Tottenham turned down a third offer which was £100 million. It seems that Tottenham doesn't care too much about money. They just want the striker to stay afloat. Even in the last game, the Tottenham fans shouted slogans aimed at Kane to stay at the Tottenham club. I think it's going to be difficult for Kane.

And Harry Kane seems to be relaxing in this regard too. He said he was even ready to make a new contract if this transfer market failed to reach an agreement with Tottenham.
I think if Bayern dares to make a higher 4th offer then Kane will go to Bayern.
Your are Tottenham don't wanna sell Harry Kane, but this season that they have not gotten any back of striker to replace him. Its obvious Kane will sign for Tottenham for just a year, the fans loves him so much he has earned so much trust with the fans. and he is not pushing to leave, he is just there watching the clubs negotiating, Bayern Munchi is ready to pay any amount to get Harry Kane this season, Bayern is in need of a good striker to replace Mane. and Kane is just the perfect match for them.

i just hope Harry Kane make the right the decision, for  his future he has to move on from Tottenham, he needs to win trophy, the Tottenham project will not help him.

I'd say it's also obvious that if Tottenham hasn't already identified a replacement like Harry Kane, the latter will remain for another year at Tottenham, but it will still be difficult to find a valid replacement for Kane! he is a purebred bomber and I would say almost unique of his kind, moreover with the Arab teams that guarantee incredible salaries it will become even more difficult to find players who accept much lower contracts but who offer prestige, what Arabia lacks

After Andre Onana joined Manchester United, Inter finally introduced their newest goalkeeper for next season and that was Yann Sommer who was brought in from Bayern Muchen. Some time ago the negotiation process was quite complicated but Inter succeeded in carrying out this transfer at a relatively low cost for the 34 year old veteran goalkeeper. His contract runs until 2026 and that's enough time while Inter look to find a younger goalkeeper.

On the other hand, Inter also want to complete another transfer, namely Lazar Samardžić from Udinese and it is hoped that this can all be done next week. He is a central midfielder and for sure he will be a replacement for Brozovic who first joined Al-Nassr.
At least Yann Sommer is a goalkeeper who has experience with big clubs like at Bayern. Although I don't know if Yann Sommer will be as good a goalkeeper as Onana or not. But I will not doubt the experience of Yann Sommer who already has more experience in the field at 34 years of age. And I like Inter Milan's way of acting quickly in the transfer market without going around as much as other clubs. I look forward to more achievements from this club. And it seems that Yann Sommer also has a goal of getting the same good results at Inter Milan as he did well with Bayern.

I hope that Yann Sommer can quickly make Andre Onana's painful departure forgotten, I won't question his footballing qualities, I know for sure that Sommer is a top-level goalkeeper and that he also knows how to play well in tactics and passing, in short, one with good feet! which is not always easy to find in goalkeepers, and also an excellent penalty save, Jorginho remembers it well Cheesy

what leaves me perplexed is how long Sommer can stay at a high level?

Meanwhile, Inter also seems to have closed the deal with Sampdoria to get goalkeeper Audero on loan with an obligation to buy, who will be Sommer's deputy for this year.
986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 07, 2023, 07:23:22 PM
Milan have spent 110 million euros on transfers already. But they have done this by spending this money on 6 players rather than 1 or 2. They don't like the idea of making one sensational transfer then I assume. They just want to strengthen multiple areas and increase the number of alternative players at the same time.

As far as I can see Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek and Chukwueze are the most impressive transfers. I don't have a wide knowledge about the other transfers. I can just criticize the Okafor transfer because he hasn't been a good scorer so far as the number of goals over the years isn't much good.

All in all, Milan has had a good signing campaign so far, they have sold their most representative player and with the money collected they have spent it all to buy good players, but my concern is about the algorithm they use to choose players on the transfer market , their president had stated that they use an algorithm to choose players to buy, but I find it too risky as a move. moreover they are all players who come from different leagues and will have to settle in the A series which is certainly not the simplest

    Quote
According to on-chain data, Huobi had less than $90 million of assets on August 5, but their latest ‘Merkle Tree Audit’ claims they have $630 million in USDT held. Cochran suggests that this means Huobi could be insolvent, meaning they might not have enough funds to cover their obligations.

credo che se confermata sarebbero problemini e non proprio piccoli

I agree, for now making predictions could be easy, because there are still strong teams coupled with less strong teams, but often the rule of football is cruel and I'm not surprised if a more fragile team manages to get through. I looked at the statistics of both klaksvik and Molde, and being two teams now very advanced in the matches played between the league, the league cup and the champions league qualification, I think that the one that is in better shape is klaksvik, especially when they play away from home they manage to give their best, managed to beat Ferencvaros who on paper was much stronger. It's simply my personal bet, tomorrow we'll see if my prediction can be true

Finally Inter Milan has Andre Onana replacement that it say they were reach an agreement for Yann Sommer transfer from Bayern Munich that it say Inter have to spend 6 millions to gets this player but both representative still talking about contract duration and another detail but this news is almost certain that soon Yann Sommer will be announce by Inter Milan to the public and this is good news because Inter Milan has lost 2 goalkeeper this summer which is Andre Onana moved to Manchester United and Samir Handanovic who decide not to extended his contract

At Inter Milan Yann Sommer will being an the first goalkeeper of this team so that's why Sommer very interested moved to Inter because at this team he will playing regularly and Inter still look for other goalkeeper as Sommer backup that they still working on to gets Anatoliy Trubin from Shaktar Donetsk

this is great news for Inzaghi and for the Inter fans, Finally they can have a top quality first goalkeeper at their disposal, even if now a forward goalkeeper with age (35 years) this means that Inter will now have to concentrate on buying a goalkeeper urgently for the future, Trubin most likely won't arrive in this transfer market session because Shaktar is asking for a high price and the player's contract expires in January, if I'm not mistaken, so Inter will most likely try to buy Trubin in the winter transfer market session on a free transfer. Also, personally and as an Inter fan, I would prefer them to buy Musso from Atalanta, a young goalkeeper with a lot of experience in Serie A, and he's also an excellent penalty saver
I think Inter chose Yann Sommer to be contracted as a replacement for Onana because he has a lot of experience which can make a good contribution to Inter even though it could take Atalanta goalkeeper Juan Musso who is younger but for me his experience is not as good as Yann Sommer so decided to take a keeper Bayern Munich goal.
for me there is no doubt about Yann Sommer even though he is 35 years old he is still in very good form every season and I am also quite sure that Inter will be strong with his new goalkeeper.

I don't doubt Yann Sommer's excellent technical skills, there aren't big alternatives on the market and replacing Andre Onana isn't easy but I think Yann Sommer can make Onana's absence feel less right from the start, what puzzles me is how long can Sommer stay at these levels, 1 year? 2 years? sooner or later Inter will have to return to buy a new first goalkeeper and given that a second goalkeeper is still missing it would be ideal to take him now, whether it's Trubin or Musso who are excellent alternatives to Sommer and ready to take the starting position next year, a bit like happened with Onana and Handanovic last year

Meanwhile, Al Ahli presents a monstrous offer for Osimhen, 175 million in 5 seasons, around 35 million a year for the Nigerian player, but they still have to convince Napoli to sell but who are now asking for 200 million for the player's transfer

I agree! these are completely unfounded rumors, Milan currently cannot afford a player of high economic value like Osimhen, the valuation given by Napoli is around 180 million, an excessive price for any team in Serie A. I also think that Osimhen will never want to leave Naples to join another Italian team and as he himself said in an interview he will leave Naples only to go and play in the Premier League
Italian teams cannot afford the high price asked by Napoli and regardless of what the player express regarding playing in another Italian team, I highly doubt Napoli will let him play with their direct opponents!
For Juventus, it appears they figured out a way to bring Lukaku from Chelsea although rumours are still mentioning an eventual swap deal with Vlahovic.

The story of Lukaku's transfer to Juventus now seems like an endless soap opera, but I'm starting to think that before the transfer market ends, this deal will be done, and it will be strange for Inter fans to see the one who declared his eternal love for the black and blue colors go to play with Juventus' bitter enemies, it's a pity only for Juventus that to get Lukaku they will have to sell Vlahovic and in my opinion they will lose a striker who could become a decisive player in the Italian championship
996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 04, 2023, 08:22:14 PM
Mudryk is a good player but nowhere near a genius player as he would have showed this last season. However , he still has a lot to improve and with the speed that he posses , he could create chaos on some defending teams and that is what Pochettino should look at.

I also think he will be sold at some point if he won't perform great this season where Chelsea really needs to redeem themselves after last season.
Chelsea has a lot of things to work on in order to be better than the previous season. Todd Boehly needs favorable outcomes this time because his patient is running out. Since taking over, he has made multiple blunders in the club, possibly during the early times he was in charge, but he has put more things in order and under his control. In the coming season, Mauricio Pochettino will work with the new players at Stamford Bridge. Mykhailo Mudryk is one of the new players that has fallen short of expectations from fans and teammates; however, based on his preseason figures, he will make more significant contributions to the club this new season.

I think you couldn't give a better summary of the current Chelsea! last championship was nothing short of embarrassing for them and the fans, despite a fairly substantial transfer campaign it didn't produce the desired results, but now Pochettino has all the time he needs to get the team back on track and improve the performance they had last year championship, taking into consideration that they do not participate in any European competition they can use their energies for national competitions and it could be an advantage for them
997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: August 04, 2023, 08:09:21 PM
Arteta is just looking for the right formula for his players, because now Arteta already has many options to rotate players in his main squad, hopefully he can be consistent until the end of the season.

Not sure what other formula you can expect from Arteta next season, but I think he has prepared a good strategy for his team based on needs. Arteta has a sufficient stock of players in his squad list for next season, but regarding performance issues, of course it won't be guaranteed to be as good as expected.

Arsenal are a tough competitor in the Premier League next season and I admit that. But anyway I'm not going to lie about wanting that Manchester City will still remain the favorites in the Premier League next season. Arsenal can certainly threaten at any time, but I hope Manchester City doesn't make too many mistakes in their quest to win 4 titles in 4 consecutive seasons.

Arsenal not only have a large number of players in their squad because the most important thing is, Arsenal are trying to have the main players and second-tier players at least have a quality that is not much different. Because only then, Arsenal will be able to play consistently even though Arteta rotates players to do better in the Champions League and of course in the Premier League too. But even so, I personally still unsure for Arsenal in the Champions League, even though Arsenal chance to qualify for the round of 16 is still very possible. But still, to go further up to the semi-finals I think the chances for Arsenal are still very low.
That makes a lot of sense because if Arsenal have almost the same second-tier players, Arteta will set up strategy to use the main players in the Champions League as well as the tier players to use for Premiere League match.
So that the main players can focus more on champions league matches and Arteta can maintain the physicality of the players to avoid injury.
Even though the chances of qualifying for the last 16 are a bit small, at least if Arteta is able to maintain the performance of his players I believe these opportunities can increase and qualify for the final.
Maybe there are still many who doubt the quality of Arsenal's players, but for me I am quite sure that this reliable coach can bring Arsenal to the title they have always wanted.

I don't think there are many doubts about Arsenal's real quality, they have enough first-level players to be able to easily aspire to win the Premier League, and last season is the most striking example of this, but if the coach wants to aspire to more ambitious trophies such as the champions league, he will have to know how to best manage the forces between the league and the cup, unfortunately every mistake in the champions is expensive, but I also think that for Arsenal it shouldn't be an insurmountable obstacle to be able to reach the round of 16, the team is strong and they can do it
998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 04, 2023, 07:53:00 PM

The rumors was not true, because Victor Osimhen never want to leave Napoli to AC Milan than to leave Napoli to premier league club but their manager has increased the salary of Victor Osimhen, which victor Osimhen have to think very well not to regret of leaving the team to another team when his contract is not yet expire.  I think, AC Milan need a young talented strikers in this summer so that they will not experience what they experienced last season in the Italian league competition, but I don't think their president have any budget for that in this season and it will really affect the performance of AC Milan in this tournament. I believe Victor Osimhen will not leave Napoli in this summer than to wait to help the team to win another title in this season before he can join premier league team, because that is his next move.

I agree! these are completely unfounded rumors, Milan currently cannot afford a player of high economic value like Osimhen, the valuation given by Napoli is around 180 million, an excessive price for any team in Serie A. I also think that Osimhen will never want to leave Naples to join another Italian team and as he himself said in an interview he will leave Naples only to go and play in the Premier League

You should respond to the post in English instead of Italian. Something wrong with you?

Napoli have proved great last season in Serie A where they managed to win the title. I can probably still expect Napoli to have a good form next season, but I'm not sure they can defend their title against the ambitions of some other teams. Juventus, Milan, Inter and Roma seem to be very wild to take the throne from Napoli, but I think Napoli still deserves to secure it if they can maintain their best form.

sorry, my mistake! while I was thinking about what I was writing I was convinced I was writing in English but in reality I was thinking and writing in Italian without paying attention  Grin
Napoli are the only team in Serie A that have changed far fewer players this year than the other contenders, I don't know what their president thinks about doing, perhaps he thinks that the team that wins doesn't change, but all the other teams that you mentioned they changed so many players and strengthened enough! Milan and inter first of all and also both hope to win in order to get the second star to show on the shirt next year! so yes, I'm not really sure that Napoli will be able to sit on the throne of winners again this year
