Today, my bc wallet is out of sync for almost a day. What happened? Until I get a message "URGENT:upgrade required!". Does anybody know how to upgrade the wallet?

Wallet's been open all day, as normal. Following rat4's blockchain fix, a flurry of Mined transactions came in. Now, the wallet is 'Synchronizing with network' ( something it's not had to do for quite some time ), and the number of blocks is increasing. Any suggestions ?
Restart your wallet Yup, done that. Wallet tells me it's 'downloaded 37862 of 38030', stuck on those figures, number 'remaining' blocks increasing. All coins have moved from a combination of Balance and Stake to entirely Stake, wallet tells me it's not staking because I have no mature coins. I have not moved any coins out of the wallet. Ever. - EDIT - It is stuck on block 37862 ... Delete blockchain files and restart Yes, am in the process of doing so, thanks ... Ok, deleted my whole data file ( backing up wallet.dat file first ! ). Re-opened wallet, which then set about synchronising, downloading the blockchain nice and fast. However, as soon as it arrived at the last 1072 blocks ( somewhere around block 37040 ), it slowed right down, to the point where it is now verrrry slowly downloading the remaining blocks. I noticed that in my transaction history, some transaction dates are out of date order ( in line with the transaction that triggered rat4 to update the chain ? ). See screenshot :

Is anyone else getting "Status: conflicted" in the Blackcoin client for mined coins? I haven't received this on my other mined coins in the client.
Not here, but the number of 'blocks remaining' after Rat4 fixed the chain is increasing, and all my coins are now in Stake

Could we break 5000 satoshi for the first time today!!? Up until very recently there didn't seem to be that many large sell orders around the 5000 mark, looked like we may sail through when that moment arrived, but some bigger figures being posted now ...

So what is the deal with the multipool? was that just an experiment or are they planning on doing it long term?
Long term, in a serious capacity, see http://pastebin.com/EiZdVAYP

http://pastebin.com/EiZdVAYPEchoing feelings of confidence, I very much enjoy the constant updates on this thread and via twitter from all those involved. This thing is moving ... but at a sensible pace.

PLEASE USE > www.PRELUDE.io < FOR SOME OF YOUR TRADESIf we have enough volume over the coming week we WILL get added for their OTHER SERVICES like: - REDDIT GOLD - GIFT CARD BUYING - ESCROW SERVICE But most importantly: MERCHANT SERVICES
This would open the door TO MANY merchants accepting BlackCoin as payment! Good to know! thanks!! And BC is a litle cheaper over there at the mo ....

You know, I take back what I said about the logo ( except for the fact that the smallest needs tweaking ). The more I see it, the better it looks. No gimmicks, just sturdy class. Top job ...

Anyone having trouble seeing Mintpal charts on PC ? Firefox & IE show only the axis, no plot lines, even after clearing cache
|
|
|
With Candle Sticks, yeah
awesome! It would be double awsome if they implemented Heikin-Ashi charts as on https://www.kraken.com/
|
|
|
Remember Mintpal is offline for some time from 7pm

Very, very cool. Now, all we need is an API to allow websites to send payment from one address to another, with a current BC/BTC exchange rate, and I, for one, have somewhere I'd be keen to to implement this. It's coming! I'm working on that along side the Android Wallet. It'll be the BlackCoin SDK for web developers. Awesome .......... no pressure, but ... how long do you think it'll take ? I've a web service that I've been meaning for some time to accept alt coin payments for. The release of a BC SDK will finally galvanise me into actually sorting it out, with, of course, BC top of the list. It will be another 2 weeks before I can release something to the public. It will be mostly a middle layer type connection to the blackcoind daemon. However if interest is there, I'd consider a blackcoind daemon hosting service... but right now I'm not looking to create a paypal clone for BlackCoin.... I just want to help other developers get a kickstart. Just so I understand correctly what you're aiming for, will this enable me to take a supplied BC address, and execute a payment from that address to my address, using a simple URL query ? I have in my mind something like https://blockchain.info/api/api_receive

Why? Like Earthcoin (price decreased by 90% since cryptsy)? Cryptsy doesn't matter anymore. BC is already on Mintpal and Bter, which can handle high volume and did. If you wanted to buy or sell high volumes, you can already do... Cryptsy I am sure is not needed by BC. It will bring more P&D group potential to the coin and i'd rather avoid that. My heart could do without a repeat of last weekend's pressure ...

Hi, I am creating something like that. I think this month I can release a beta version. Hope you can participate in testing it. If you have suggestions you can post it on BC's forum : http://blackcointalk.com/index.php?topic=777.msg980#newI'm not creating a payment gateway. I have a webservice in place that's been running for several years, that I take payment for through a traditional gateway service. I'm interested in using alt coin SDKs to bypass this gateway structure, to allow users to pay me direct. This, after all, is one of the fundamental points behind this technology; direct P2P payments.
