Better hold sometime, until you become sure you know what you are doing. Otherwise throwing money on btc is gamble.
yeah, but buying a moto in this age is also the risk to lose life. pump and dump some altcoins, thats the king league.

The three from my customer are capped at 1100W, as per Zvi's recommendations. They're each hashing stably at around 3950 GH/s. Currently, I'm seeing 3923.69 GH/s, 3951.675 GH/s, and 3982.555 GH/s. These three are all running 2.2.35.
This simply isn't the advertised (after adjustment) 4.5TH. WTF? Is spondoolies trying to lower the rate still further? 6.5Th -> 6.0TH -> 5.5TH -> 4.5Th -> 4.0TH. Where does this stop? 4 is about 60% of 6.5. That sucks tremendously. That is not a simple engineering estimation error. That is a major defect. Product was advertised at 5.4Th/s. The 6Th/s was an added bonus and not available for long and for many customers. SP10 had a drop in hashrate on 110V so it was expected to be the same for SP30. The machine can do 4.5Th/s, but you just need to supply it the proper power. it was 0,5 W/GH. 2200W for 3950GH is 0,56 W/GH. But I guess its not the 5400GH, thats a pretty 25% loss. When you ordered 4 pcs. then you have one lost. Pre-orders are like buying a pig in a poke. it could we worser.

1. you cant live with that thing in one room without earplugs. the room will get hot for sure more than 35° without ventilation and then and your miner will shot down too. 2. you need one circuit breaker just for your miner. check that out. then replace it with one for 16Ampere (in europe) and put thicker wires from the circuit breaker to the plug (recommended, but depends how hot the wires will get). best you consult an electrician. for 100 bucks he can figure out whats necessary.

None, of the options, finally. I would invest in start-ups with ideas for the bitcoin ecosystem. So investing in ideas. Or considering buying an already working asset. For both it would be good to establish contacts first. Just a thought.

Hello,
This is a dumb question for sure, but I can't find it anywhere.
How do I calculate the "dollar per GH/s" for a system?
I assumed I just divide the cost of the system by the hash rate but that doesn't seem right.
Thank you for your time.
No, you cant calculate, you can just estimate, cause its hard to predict the difficulty rise every 10 days and the bitcoin price over the next 6 months.

Shit.... The hash rate may break 180MM GH/s. A 40 PH/S swing in a matter of 12 hours is some pretty serious variance. I doubt anyone is attacking the network, but something is going on.
The price is down due to all the news from the US Consumer Protection Agency and all the regulation talk.
I am getting serious worried too (but still convinst that it is some kind of new attack, that we do not know of yet, maybe NSA or KGB has build in a trojan or something) NSA? KGB? If this is an attack, then the protocol has been under attack more or less for the entirety of its existence. Brian has obviously let his prescriptions lapse. Haha... Good call! Aliens attacking our currency but yeah there are alot of miners out there turning on and out their hw

If anyone wants to see their 2 terahash miner in action The hashes are VERY stable. http://youtu.be/tSFEzduops0Pros:It is 2th in a box with minimal setup Very stable hashing Has English UI upon request So far, Amanda from Bit-Winkor has been helpful ConsExtremely loud UI is still basic typical of A1 miners. Doesn't work on P2Pool Air is sucked in from the sides and then blown out from both sides of the miner making it hard to plan for large scale farms since the air is pushed out from all directions. I would recommend this miner if you want minimal setup and a decently powerful rig in a single package and don't mind the noise. whats the price?

I bought 4 jalapeno's for 25 euros each what a steal.
I would have sold you 300GH/s of BFL miners for that price if you paid for shipping I would buy one for fun, when it would have integrated cgminer running with wlan support. its stil available new for $50 at butterflylabs hp.

Ha ha 350k for forum software, I'll do it for 100k in any language.
its one million Dollar. Tiny forums costs something about $100 a year, on the other side reddit is worth five Billion Dollar.

Well that's a shame. Back then could anyone have an avatar like newbies or was limited to full member and above or something?
Anyone. Avatars won't come back until the new forum software is released. That'll be around a year or so. a year from april on. so next year april is release time.

as stated earlier you can getting more or less a quarter more out as litecoin mining thanks to TOTAL merged mining. In no way 4xtimes more, keep in mind.

I wouldn't mine with Slush anyway. Try GHash, BTCguild or Bitminter. They always worked for me.
Whats the disadvantages?
