981  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you consider the prospects of global economy in 2024? on: January 21, 2024, 11:15:56 AM
Starting of this year has not been so great because in general if you look around there are lay offs everywhere and there are organizations like Google and Amazon which was like a dream job for people now they have started laying off, product based companies are laying off and once an employee loses his job his spending power reduces and this will affect everyone from top to bottom, right from businessmen to an farmer. Just need to brace for an bumpy year ahead.
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run within Q4 of 2024? on: January 21, 2024, 10:53:36 AM
Everyone is waiting for the halving and indeed this is a big moment for this industry. Many predict that after the Halving the price will go down for a while and then after some time it will increase. what we need is to adjust the strategy to adjust future risk exposure.
We are now currently in 2024 where the halving will happen and yet closer to the halving. We saw the trend in prices of Bitcoin and some other coins, it is just the the tip of the bull run that is yet to happen after the halving. We don't know the exact time it's gonna happen but surely it will.

If we look back at the previous bull runs it has never been on the same year as halving rather the following year hence I do not consider the current market as tip off for bull run rather consider this as an accumulation period for the bull run which I expect to take place in 2025. I may be wrong but I am following the previous trends and as per that it should be in 2025. But yeah we have to utilize the current period to buy more Bitcoin. I can be confident we have to start buying Bitcoin but cannot say much about Altcoin until actual bull run starts.
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: January 21, 2024, 09:37:53 AM
i was participated in many altcoins signature and still now i'm promoting a project which will pay in altcoins. and i will never hold if i received coins after campaign finished.
because no guarantee these will survive long time on the market, most of the time these will be dead if will not listed good exchange.

Mate, you are talking about what if the coin will survive or not but first of all looking at the current market and trend it's not even guaranteed that whether the coin will even make it to the exchange or not  because most of the bounty related altcoins don't even make it to exchange and also some of them have strict rules like they will distribute the bounty rewards in part and by the time you get it the devs would have already dumped. I have lost hope on bounties though I join them what if one coin can make you rich. I had food experience in the past.
984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your doing for now? on: January 21, 2024, 09:05:43 AM
So what are you doing now?

Not taking a role and instead remaining silent is a stupid action IMO, I think doing DCA is the smallest role we can do when market conditions are unstable and get the average later. But, if you really don't have any more resources (money), don't force yourself, you are already in the right place as you are now (just looking at the market). That's all Grin.

Right on the spot as the bet we can do is DCA when we are uncertain but I would consider buying in due to FOMO as most stupidest thing one can do. I have seen people who are just relentless and end up buying due to FOMO instead of remaining silent, I would say it's better to remain silent instead of buying in FOMO as you will not be wasting your money.
985  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My btc full year plan 2024 on: January 20, 2024, 07:29:36 PM
This prediction is hardly being followed as we see. This is not at all according to me a good prediction. I would say don’t do predictions, and just blind buy the coins when Bitcoins are concerned. We know that how rare Bitcoins are. A time will come when there will be scarcity of Bitcoins. If you want to take the advantage of that time, then accumulating Bitcoins are the best thing that you can do.

I think the OP just shared his plan and prediction and we know that no one can predict the market accurately hence I wouldn't mind even if it doesn't go as per the prediction because it's an individual prediction.

But, yeah as you mentioned instead of focusing on the market trend we should be more focused on how to accumulate Bitcoin and this is the moment to have as many as possible when there will be scarcity it's the Bitcoin holders who will be the king and we have already wasted good amount of time hence I think we need to start looking into accumulating BTC which I have already started for a while now.
986  Economy / Speculation / Re: Signs you should know to take profit from your crypto investment on: January 20, 2024, 07:14:54 PM
I have been in this situation many times at the initial days of investment as well as trading then I started using stop loss once my personal target is achieved. Many might say they will take profit once the target is reached but in reality that's not the case as greed makes them to aim for higher target as a result they end up losing. I think this is a disciplinary step which is must in crypto world and diverting from this will surely result in unexpected results which most of the time is negative.
987  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Decentralization things are awesome but in some country on: January 20, 2024, 05:34:59 PM
In simple words decentralization i mean Bitcoin and other crypto gives you freedom to send or receive funds in form of crypto without being questioned or noticed or charged by the government as this is good for some business related transactions, tax evading and money laundering, and terror funding are the reason described by the most of the governments for their hostile nature towards the decentralization wherein these things were happening even before invention of Bitcoin. Some countries will never be decentralization friendly as they want to control everything we do which shows their corrupt nature of governance.
988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead Coins: Over 50% of Cryptocurrencies Have Failed on: January 20, 2024, 05:03:41 PM
That's a lot of numbers but these are the only ones who where listed and then failed but there are still a lot of project which ran away with investor's money they are not counted here. This also shows that apart from Bitcoin it's not wise to hodl any other coins because what if they fall into the category of these failed coins. This also shows that we cannot randomly choose altcoins as the ratio between active and failed coins doesn't look good and top of that there are active project who have not been able to recover for years and XRP is an classic example.
989  Economy / Economics / Re: Passion for skills. on: January 20, 2024, 04:28:16 PM
I have learned a lot of skills while working as you mentioned we do get to learn a lot of skills at work or while working on something.

To be specific I am currently brushing up my knowledge on Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification as I have already applied six sigma methods and tools to my projects but don't have a certification hence working on it and post which I will learn and master LSS black belt. Simultaneously I am working on Python which is new to me as it will help me to automate things and automate my trading strategy as well.
990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin an opportunity like land on: January 20, 2024, 02:01:36 PM
Yes we can relate both the real estate and Bitcoin as both have limited supply and value of both increases with time. But we need to understand few major differences like lands are physical which can be used as per our wish to create revenue through it like renting out or having collaboration with builders to build apartment all these while we hold the land to our name but when it comes to Bitcoin we have stuffs like staking wherein we will still have our Bitcoin and still earn extra profits through staking. These are the two of the most reliable and profitable source of investment. This stands true for most of the countries not only to Nigeria.
991  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I dont trust world rulers how do we know they have nuclear? on: January 20, 2024, 12:43:23 PM
A lot has been discussed here and the essence of the OP is not to believe whatever we see in the news channels as news can be tweaked. But we need to understand one thing that not everything is fake because as far as nuke is concerned I believe there are many other countries secretly having nuclear weapons apart from those who have declared them. I know there are propaganda which are rolled out to create fear but I don't think news about nuclear weapon would be lie but yeah anything coming from the so called reliable source of USA is an utter lie just like they lied about weapon of mass destruction about Iraq and Saddam Hussein.

But majority of stuffs we see in news have multiple angles and it's presented to us in bits and pieces as it benefits them and their masters.
992  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You only got what you deserve on: January 20, 2024, 12:18:02 PM
I resonate with this perspective as it aligns with my religious beliefs. It emphasizes that our sustenance is predetermined by a higher power, encouraging gratitude for what we receive. Despite our efforts and hard work, if something is not meant for us, it won't materialize. Learning to be content and sincere, I've adopted an "ikhlas" approach, letting go of outcomes while actively exploring alternative income sources. This mindset allows me to navigate life with humility, acknowledging that what comes our way is a part of a larger plan set by a divine force.

Makes sense because we need such belief which will help us to cope with any loses which may be temporary loss but we will feel everything goes against us and eventually people gets trapped in depression. But, if we understand that our job here is to work hard and keep upskilling ourselves and learning new things and trying to do things differently regardless of outcome as sometimes we don't get the desired outcome but what follows is much better than that. But we should take this as an excuse for our laziness wherein one shouldn't put in efforts and thinks they will get what they deserve without any efforts, because one don't deserve anything without any efforts.
993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETFs - Good or Bad? on: January 20, 2024, 11:28:30 AM
Everything has merits and demerits, but when it comes to Bitcoin ETFs we have both the sides as institutions may get more control and they may use this to manipulate the market but let's first ask ourselves, aren't the market currently being manipulated by whales? It doesn't matter whether it's manipulated by the whales of cyrpto or institutions. But more people will be aware of Bitcoin after ETF approval and there would be a possible increase in adoption as well. Let's adapt to the current situation because we cannot make any changes single handedly because if we keep worrying about the possible outcome then we might be left behind.
994  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the world soon become tired of the US dollar? on: January 20, 2024, 10:50:29 AM
Fiat will eventually fail. The problem is they're trying to use inflation to "inflate away" the debt, but actual markets can only deal with that for so long. They have the money printer; we don't.

This is such baseless I mean if fiat fails what will replace it and why do fiat will even fail in the first place? You may say a particular currency is failing which we have seen in the past but don't generalize fiat and as long as country is ruled by government and not by crypto enthusiast. Let's say even if fiat is replaced by something else what would and who would replace fiat and how it's value will be measured? What will be the holding which guarantees the value of post fiat era? Let's not spread too much of negativity and yeah USD's dominance will be reduced especially after what's cooking up with BRICS nations about using their local currency for trade.
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Surge in Meme Coins on: January 20, 2024, 10:06:11 AM
I have stop indulging into mem coins long time ago because the biggest challenge here is choosing the right coin, we only see Doge, Shib, Safemoon or bonk but we don't see the number of similar projects which couldn't make it big. I am not trying to potray a negative image but I always think why to risk our investments into meme coins which can make us poor anytime if they dump, rather why not choose some projects based on the services it has to offer us because they have better chances of survival.

But there are some risk takers for them meme coin would be perfect but once again I am stressing the part of selecting the right coin.
996  Other / Archival / Re: Is it possible to make money with Crypto Arbitrage? on: January 20, 2024, 09:17:46 AM
I am suspicious on you as you are a possible scammer, as you have made a similar post earlier in the month of October 2022 wherein you were supposed to share your experience about this bot as you said you will do it post getting your salary on 30th October 2022?

Though the video looks professional but it can be morphed and the way you are sharing this post now once again after more than a year and a quarter makes me suspicious that you are behind this and trying to scam people.

YouTube has already removed the previous video you had shared. I have shared your post in 2022 in regards to the same.

997  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people mostly fail in trading on: January 20, 2024, 08:36:07 AM
I agree with these funds but the most important thing is the patience and directly jumping into trading without rehearsal in the demo account.

What we learn in any training and theory doesn't make us expert as we have to do case studies based on various technical indicators and also the common mistakes people make is they just follow some channels which provides signals and blindly go by it or else they just assume that if a coin has dropped it will rise back which is not the case with altcoins, I have seen people in investing and trading USTC, FTT and LUNA which they were dying as they assumed they would get huge profits if the price goes back to normal.

People should understand it's absolutely fine to not earn profit if the market is not suitable because new traders don't want to end their day without profit and end up diverting from the basics where they end up losing.
998  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2024 price prediction on: January 20, 2024, 07:44:43 AM
After the halving, we'll probably see bitcoin return to the 20k price range again either because there's something negative will follow or just the pattern that always happens after halving but it's not really a bad thing because that means that there's a lot of good things coming that will eventually lead to big profits, think of my mindless and baseless negative prediction as positive thing especially if you're like me that wants to maximize their bitcoin value by the dollar that they spend to buy it, I mean if I had the money back when it's still around 19k, I don't think that I'll passing up on that opportunity to buy at that point.

There is no doubt that we may see some sort of market corrects and fluctuations but TBH $20k looks bit scary though we were trading at $20k last year. Incase if Bitcoin down down to $20k or less, forget about $20k even if Bitcoin goes below $30k it would create chaos in the market as many would be panic selling and that's the time we need to capitalize and buy more for the expected bull run of 2025 where we are expecting Bitcoin to achieve new ATH, possibly breaching the $100k landmark.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Launchpool: One Of The Best Staking Feature For Rewards. on: January 20, 2024, 07:30:31 AM
Based on my personal experience launchpad is a good way for some quick profit though it cannot be considered as an investment. I have tried Binance Launchpad/Launchpool and so far the results have been positive provided you have enough funds to stake. I have staked BNB, but I am not sure if we can do the same with other CEXs. I have heard a lot about bitget launchpads but I am yet to try. Currently I have participated in a launchpad project named "ALT". I will share the outcome as 5 more days to go.
1000  Economy / Economics / Re: JP Morgan Chase fights 45 billion hack attempts a day. on: January 19, 2024, 08:25:22 PM
Is this for real? The number looks way too much and this just shows the vulnerability of the fund we store in the banks and with emergence of new technologies and AI we though it would make our life easier but it's actually benefiting the scammers and hackers. Just imagine the number of people who would have already lost good amount of money because we often see news like people are losing money online and this is not only related to bank in general we need to be extra cautious and should ensure we don't click any malicious links and every organization especially banks should be on their toe to combat these attacks and further educate the customers on safeguarding the account.
