And since I am also asked about a euro price and local pick up the following additional information:

You can calculate my euro price by taking the High(shown directly below Play sounds, it currently is 92)  EURO (you will have to select EUR at the top of the page behind currency) exchange rate at http://bitcoin.clarkmoody.com and multiply it by 40.

I am located near Rotterdam, but a visit in the Hague or Bergen op Zoom can also be arranged.

Note that I have promised that I would accept the highest bid on April 21 noon CET.

Can I buy the 1 Ztex?
I want to sell the whole set and already got some interesting bids.

I have decided to wait till April 21 noon CET and then sell to the highest bidder.
You can either bid in a PM, or here in this forum thread.
Highest bid till now is 35 BTC for the set without the power supply and without the laptop.
991  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 4,2GH/s 5x quad + 1 single Ztex, in total 21 FPGA tower incl. PS and fans on: April 14, 2013, 08:04:06 AM
BTC500, dude seriously,  no.  That is f**king stupid.     Get real, I am sorry but when I see prices like this is just bothers me.  That is not a deal, it is a one-side trade and you ain't on the good side.
It's fucking stupid that you fail to notice the date of the post that contains the 500BTC price and also fucking stupid that you fail to notice the very recent post in which I set the asking price to 40 BTC.
My 40BTC price is based on a 4 month ROI, which is pretty good in my opinion.

Some clickable pics of the tower:

This pic shows the temperature sensor:

Nice temp in Celsius Smiley:

The complete tower:

Cgminer on Ubuntu on the Toshiba M400 laptop, rock solid Smiley:

The whole set consist of:
5x Quad Ztex
1x single Ztex
USB hub
750W powersupply
Toshiba M400, running Ubuntu 12

I use Teamviewer to access it from work if necessary.
It's plug and play, comes together with a power supply and usb hub.
If you want, I will sell the toshiba M400 laptop in the deal for another 3 BTC.

A fews days ago I have sent this information, hence it's a few days old:
The Quads have generated on average 0.34 BTC a day in the last 17 days.
Last 24 hours was 0.27961460

My asking price is 4 months worth of BTC production, so that's 120 * 0.34 = 40.8 BTC
I don't care much about the Euro or USD price. I am in this for the BTC.

daily BTC 'production' from March 22 to April 7:
0.493฿
0.487฿
0.420฿
0.373฿
0.349฿
0.212฿
0.376฿
0.310฿
0.247฿
0.296฿
0.285฿
0.325฿
0.311฿
0.338฿
0.364฿
0.287฿
0.326฿

I am mining on BtcPool, the production had some minor dips due to issues with the pool.

The production will become lower and lower due to more and more Asics coming online.
It's using about 0.009 BTC ($1.71) of expensive Dutch electricity a day, so it will generate a profit for a long time to come  (230W @ 220V.)

I am open to serious public offers, the reservation is over since I haven't heard anything anymore from the potential buyer.

I don't have to sell, so don't offer a ridiculous low amount.
993  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin-24 and no fees? on: April 12, 2013, 12:48:05 PM
Now the service is down and my funds are stuck. Whats going on.
He is probably trying to fix the problems and roll back/correct the faulty transactions.

995  Economy / Economics / Bitcoin markets need a trading curb aka circuit breaker on: April 11, 2013, 07:13:49 AM
A trading curb, also known as a circuit breaker, is a point at which a stock market will stop trading for a period of time in response to substantial drops in value.

Yes and no Wink I am still happily mining with it, only having electricity cost and giving me a whopping 3500% profit Smiley
999  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Was it a mistake to purchase Avalon batch #3? on: April 09, 2013, 06:45:50 AM
I think you're too negative. I bought 5 Ztex Quad's with fiat money and it took 7 months to break even, then the BTC price went nuts. So I exchanged some of the BTC to get back the fiat money put into them. Currently my only cost is electricity and my profit is around 3500% on a daily base Smiley
I think mining with FPGA's will be profitable for at least another year.
ASIC mining will probably be profitable for at least 3 years.
With profitable I mean electricity cost lower than generated BTC value.
