I don't see how enjoyment during this yuletide season should affect ones plan to maintain a DCA strategy of investment. At least anyone venturing into investment should be matured enough to know what's important and profitable because any wrong expenses or withdrawal or diversion of funds in ones wallet or account, could hinder or derail the investor from continuing to invest.
Keep enjoyment money for one side, keep the money for investment for one side no matter how small, because a small fraction or half of the original money to be invested as part of DCA strategy of investment will help the investor keep focus alive despite the enjoyment during such seasons.

This is a terrible I must say, the wickedness of man is just not comprehendible how can some save throughout the year and goes home to celebrate with his people, and what he gets is robbery? Common man this is pure wickedness, and I believe his whereabouts were licked to the kidnapper by someone who knows him, it's possible it's a family member, anyway if the robbers were foolish enough to do bank to bank transfer, I think they could still be caught and compelled to say the truth on who gave them his information. I use the both of them depending on the odds available, sometimes the pre match odd are higher than that of a live match odd. So if I want the win to be big I just use select from pre match games and make my stake, but on the other hand if wasn't sure of the performance the player would put into the match , l just wait for the game to become live, and after watching the first 20munites I then make my bet despite the odds. It is true that in case or etheruem and bitcoin we does not need any research because we can see the reality with our own eyes but new coins are unidentified about which prediction become wrong most of the time. Now a days there are so many altcoins which are profitable like ADA, solana, matic and Link are profitable coins so instead of moving towards new and risky investment try to choose well used coins that will shine during Bull market and avoid scam and unidentified projects. Some persons are find of talking as though they have full assurance of what a coin will become in the future, the only coin I know for sure that will keep going up is Bitcoin.
