982  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitmain Antminer R4 on: August 26, 2016, 07:21:13 AM
More OT, about ROI...
Current price for the batch 12 s9 @ 12.9THs gives $123 per THs. PSU not included.
The R4 @ $1k and 8.6 THs is $116 per THs... PSU included.
Hmm.

edit: Rechecked their gallery - shows a separate PSU.

this is a good remark...
but R4 are new...
they will be reliable???
for sure if i will buy, i will buy one to check reliability.
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 1060 A (released) on: August 24, 2016, 08:29:35 PM

505 per il momento, che ne pensate a proposito del fatto accaduto a bitfinex?

Prova a chiederlo al buon gbianchi ;-)

grande gbianchi!!!

se ha cambiato thread me lo passate che non ho il nuovo?
986  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: i find this dealer right now... But is legit??? on: August 19, 2016, 02:47:56 PM
- The domain has been created in 2014
- Valid KvK number
- Didn't hide their WHOIS information
   - Has an address that looks real
- Company address that looks real

I have no idea how they prices are as I'm not into mining, but it looks decent, I suppose. That's all I can say about it.

This is really cool but the issue I will have for those who have used it. Is it sure that I will make money using them it or they just come with unnecessary disclaimer?

ahahahahahaha..
sorry but I'm rolling with laughter...
it seems there are people who still to believe who there are "SAFE WAYS" to rise money!!!
sorry again but...
ahahahahahaha..

...and your comment contributes to this conversation how? If you are not going to give useful advice, stop wasting your time. OP, I have heard good things about C.A.T. Although i've never used it myself, it is quite popular. I would start there.

-Mistercoin

your post is far less useful than mine.
and if you do not understand it is just your problem.
With the above post, i meant to understand, using irony, that there are no easy money.
No easy money in bitcoin world, but more generally, no easy money in life.
that's why my post was more useful than yours.

I hope I explained better.

go in peace ;-)

insomma...
film già visto
989  Bitcoin / Hardware / i find this dealer right now... But is legit??? on: August 19, 2016, 02:02:27 PM

it seems for EU buyers...
990  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: i got PSU: What I miss now??? on: August 19, 2016, 01:59:19 PM

so I would be inclined to drop clock to 500 first two days  then bump to 525 next two days.  then if all works do 531.25

i think, do you do it to check hardware quality and miners stability...
but miners are not certified and tested at the eclared settings, before delivery to buyers???
991  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: i got PSU: What I miss now??? on: August 19, 2016, 01:56:12 PM
One more question are you looking to run 2 machine on this ?

if so you will need to lower frequency  clocks on the  two miners  from 600 to 550 or    about 10%   since I do not know if your miners come set at freq 600

any power from 208 to 260 will work

philip,
i don't understand this..
S9 use about  1172W + 12% at the stock clock (550MHz) for the 12TH/s
with 2880 watt i get about a 280watt reserve...
No???

i'm missing some details??

they will use 2625 watts  at stock clock.

the fans are little  screaming monsters and will pull 75 watts  so you will be at 2700 watt  and  while your psu is rated at 2880  that is under proper temps and a new unit.

so I would be inclined to drop clock to 500 first two days  then bump to 525 next two days.  then if all works do 531.25

I did not know who power consumption at the wall, declare here https://www.bitmaintech.com/productDetail.htm?pid=0002016081702344625140A58uNg0630, is without fan consumption!!!
thank you fot the tip!!!
but 75watt for 2 fans right??

There are many trading bots you can buy online and some of them are even crypto specific. Are you trading crypto, stocks, fx? Huh

Mostly crypto. I know CAT but I'm lf one which is free

why do you not start to try just using https://new.tradingview.com/
it is an awesome free platform to backtest trading strategies...
and for junior users it is free..
than
if you build a winning strategy you can pay to go Pro and use it to make money

What's that? Like a place where people share with their followers their TA?

yes..
thera are a lot of free strategies for the free junior account to...
if you pay and go pro, there are really a loto of free code....
and you have a huge stock, index, etc/etf, commodities and bitcoin/altcoins database with all the common time frames

I have attached two links for a source of breakout boards for your IBM 2880 PSU.  Both J4bberwok and Finksy are trusted members that support this forum.

Good Luck on your project.

Check out the for sale forums - you need the breakout board and the PCI cables, and there are several people who sell on there.  Finsky is who I've bought from in the past, but he's in Canada so might not be the best option for you - but I'm sure there's someone actively selling to the EU on there also.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0

You shouldn't need anything to split PCI cables, the breakout has more outputs than you typically need.

thank you Mark

"breakout "
this is the right word i'm searching for ;-)

1000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best GPU for Ethereum on: August 19, 2016, 09:22:16 AM

That is right.  I think I will buy the cheaper RX 480 if the price is actually cheaper than the RX 470. 480 would be faster in other algorithms.

still waiting to know where did you find a 480 cheapest then 470  Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool
