981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why most of airdrops don't pay participants with tokens in these days?? on: February 02, 2023, 06:52:10 AM
there are many reasons that do a project not pay airdrop fees to the participants. some of the reasons for that are because the project lacks funds for advertising, the results that are given are not in accordance with their wishes, they do not intend to pay for it, and the most likely is that they have deceived you. Well, that's an early sign of a scam project. Also, even if they pay, the coin doesn't necessarily have a price. Personally, I rarely look for airdrops for the reasons above. However, you can ask on their telegram or discord about it. but the risk is that you get kicked out of their group.

Altcoin investments have become risky this day.
Risk has always been there, and in times of a bear market, chances are high that the weaker coins will see more red than those that have a strong reputation and decent following. It's all about finding the coin that ticks most of the investment boxes!
if we look back at crypto history, especially altcoins in 2016 until now, then we will know that very many altcoins have fallen, been abandoned, and even become scams. this proves that since long ago, investing in altcoins was indeed very risky. However, we cannot deny that many people benefit from using it.

Because of this, it would be great if we instilled that it was a risky thing from the start so that we really prepared ourselves mentally for it. well, if we get profit, we can take advantage of it, and if we get scammed, then we are ready for the risk.

In addition, even though investing in altcoins carries a large risk, if we pay close attention, we can be sure that there are very many altcoins that also have great potential for us to take advantage of at this time.
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Solana be the next Ethereum??? on: October 21, 2022, 01:32:15 PM
Solana is a fantastic coin because it can enter the top 10 ranking in a short time, ETH, BNB and others need more than a year to be able to enter the top 10 but solana has not been a year has entered the top 10 ranking, because it enters the top 10 ranking, of course, it certainly makes the number of users and transactions increase significantly so that there has been a problem with the network.
even though solana is included in the fantastic coin, but I think there is still a very high expectation that solana will be the next ethereum. Solana's power is still very far from ethereum, even I feel that Solana can't even compete with BSC yet. it's not only a matter of transaction speed and low fees, it's also a question of functionality and popularity. Until now, the ethereum user community is still very large. the density of transactions that people do makes gas fees go up. however, i feel that solana can't beat ethereum yet.
984  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can One Actually Do Crypto Trading As A Living? on: October 10, 2022, 05:11:43 AM
it can be done. I have a friend who trades daily to make ends meet. however, I personally do not recommend it. well, even though it's possible to earn a lot of income, and even fulfill your needs, it's still risky. I am thinking of having a source of income from other places that can also meet your needs. That's because we don't know what will happen in the trading world. You can lose a lot in one day. So, it's better if you have another source of income that can meet your life needs
985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does new projects succeed in bear on: October 05, 2022, 06:29:51 AM
when a bear market occurs, not many new projects sell, because there is a possibility that investors are quite difficult to spend their money on new investments due to bad market conditions. After that, when a project failed in their sales, then several things would happen, like
  • investor refund
  • project cancellation
  • project retirement and development for the future
  • or even the project is closed because there is no market interest
  • and many more
When a project that provides a bounty fails to make a sale, there is a possibility that the bounty will be cancelled. that is one of the risks of the bounty.
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Terra still pumping !?! on: October 01, 2022, 08:24:40 AM
IMO, Do Kwon has not been involved in this since his arrest. Moreover, the perception of "Pumping" only occurs for people who invest in this coin when the price has fallen. If we look at the entire project, it is very clear that this project is no longer viable, and is far from being called a pump.
I also feel that this is just a dying coin, where people just take advantage of rapid price changes to make a profit. Meanwhile, no one else will hold this coin in the long term, or maybe very few people will.

988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you guys invest meme coins now? on: August 22, 2022, 04:40:05 AM
Currently it is very risky to invest in meme coins, because all coins are experiencing a high decline so to invest, of course you have to have a big consideration, so that we do not experience losses in investing, meme coins such as shiba and doge actually deserve our rely, know all need a process to increase the price and currently shiba is burning coins and the price is starting to increase so we are even more confused to hold the meme of the coin, so all need consideration so that everything can be as we expected.
IMO, even for doge and shiba, for now, i avoid investing in any other coin than popular coin only. Currently, the price of crypto is really difficult to predict, even some people think that there will be another dump. however, for now, it doesn't seem like the right time to choose meme coin as a place to invest. Personally, I prefer to invest in bitcoin or ethereum over meme coin. even if it's a small amount.
989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of pancake telegram account on: August 20, 2022, 08:25:05 AM
Well, there's a lot of manipulation going on in Telegram, and people can easily create the same names and traits, from personal accounts to even official groups. therefore, be careful if there are people who chat about investing without anything beforehand, and also things like this. I feel that you belong to a scam group. for the media of the official pancake located here, https://docs.pancakeswap.finance/contact-us/telegram
please match it back with the group you have. if it's different, you can report and get out of there.
990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest missed opportunity in crypto on: August 18, 2022, 06:32:35 AM
There have been many missed opportunities but perhaps one of my biggest was when my friend recommended getting into Ethereum at $100. Now Ethereum is almost $2000.
At the time, I was heavily invested in Bitcoin and one of the benefits that I liked about BTC was the limited supply of coins.
Back in the day when I did my research on Ethereum, I was skeptical because I thought it would be easy to manipulate the price if the coins weren’t limited in supply.
Now, I’ve changed my tune and I do hold Ethereum in my portfolio but obviously I wish I had gotten in when my friend had given me the tip.
same as me. I was also advised by my friend to buy BNB when the price was still below $100. however, at the time I preferred to collect other altcoins instead of BNB. in the end, the price of BNB went up high, while the coins I held didn't have a high price. In fact, to this day I still hold some of these coins on the exchange, and their prices are very low, even lower than the initial price when I adopted the coin.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest missed opportunity in crypto on: August 16, 2022, 07:01:35 AM
Tell me a project you missed the biggest opportunity on that could have changed your life today...

In 2019 many people hate HEX and called it Ponzi scheme, I have more than 50$ to risk on this coin at the time, I bought some and I got 500,000+ HEX, this cost me around 11$ or so and in November 2021 one HEX turned 0.55$, that's whopping 280,000$ or more.
maybe ethereum. but it's not like I was cheated or anything bad, it's just that I just sold the ethereum that I had too quickly. this happened at the end of 2020, I sold my ethereum for under $1k. at the time, I had quite a bit of ethereum, maybe dozens. however, when I sold it, the price of ethereum even broke through the $4k price tag, and that frustrates me quite a bit. Well, I lost the moment to sell at a very high price. this might serve as a lesson to believe in the top popular coins
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roller coasters!!! on: August 15, 2022, 08:52:01 AM
the crypto market is always volatile, the price increases and decreases are always like a roller coaster since the first. however, the higher the price, the more you will see the more ups and downs of a coin or token. Besides, I don't know if this has anything to do with the whales controlling the market. however, what I think is, the people who are able to move the market are the people who hold large amounts of assets, and this could be because of the coin community, the overwhelming need and demand, and because of the whales themselves. however, try to take advantage of moments like that, because I think moments like that can make us get big benefits for people who can take advantage of them.
993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: August 15, 2022, 05:16:04 AM
For some reason I can't decide for these two coins namely BNB and ETH. because I consider both of them to be the best choice in altcoins. although I don't invest much in BNB and ETH. because I prefer to invest in Bitcoin. but for altcoins then BNB and ETH are the best as far as I know. However, if you look at the trading volume, ETH is superior. so the final decision is i choose both.
well, i also thought the same thing. both coins are coins that have huge potential right now, and even I would argue that ETH and BNB are the top 2 popular coins that are only 1 tier apart. personally, I prefer to keep both. until now, ethereum with a large fee is still able to maintain its popularity, and may have a better development when the fee price becomes cheaper. while BNB is a coin with a very low transaction fee, and is currently widely used. it has very big prospects in the future. however, for now, I still tend to use coins with the BSC platform as transactions, however, I still choose ETH and BNB as places of investment.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins worth investing at dip on: August 14, 2022, 10:01:57 AM
because nowadays many think that we are in a bear market, and this is the right time to invest in crypto, so I suggest only investing in crypto that has been trusted for a long time. bitcoin, and ethereum are very clear evidence, when the price dumps, the price falls very low, but when a bull run occurs, the price will rise very high. if possible, only select bitcoins at this point. however, if you are looking for cheaper crypto, and want to invest in altcoins, then ethereum will be great. if the price of ethereum is still too expensive, then choose BNB, and if BNB is also still quite expensive, then choose popular altcoins, especially those above the TOP 10 CMC coins.
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be careful buying alts right now on: August 14, 2022, 06:02:02 AM
We all know that investing in cryptocurrency has a risk attached to our capital, that's why it depends on the coins that we buy and we have a reference that we can use to be sure of the altcoins that we choose and trade on the exchange that is in our decision whether we do it short or long term. Because we can't really avoid the risk, that's why we have to be really careful.

As long as the important thing is that we know how to look for the right coin here in the world of cryptocurrency, because if our method and understanding of crypto is wrong, the result will surely be a risk to our coins that are chosen to invest. However, if this is the right understanding and method, it is also certain that the result will be good in the future.
we all agree that crypto is risky, that's why we really need to be very careful in investing, or even choosing investments. however, what the OP was talking about was ethereum, which at the time fell into the $900 range. normally, it's a pretty bad time to invest in altcoins, as the price of ethereum has fallen quite a bit from its very high price. however, I think on the side of new investors, or investors who like to take advantage of the situation, it becomes a very good thing for them. imagine, when they bought the popular altcoins at that time, they already made a sizeable profit today. what I'm trying to say is, dumps aren't always bad for everyone. people who can take advantage of it will try to make the most of the moment. maybe it was a bad moment to invest, but those who studied the situation might realize that it was a good time to invest in ethereum. however, there will always be risk due to the nature of crypto which is generally very volatile.
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATH for ETH on: August 13, 2022, 06:55:31 AM
seeing the current market it might be difficult for ETH and other coins to return to ATH. but to reach ATH again, I don't think anything is impossible even if you have to wait a few more years
Yeah without another bullish trend and ethereum will never able to reach ATH again. Bitcoin needs to reach ATH first. People must wait a few years to be passed and then they will be seeing another bullish trend come again. Talking about new ATH was a non sense thing since the market was still in a big bearish trend. Bitcoin is only moving slowly. The volume was not good  too. It's too early predicting about ethereum to reach new ATH
you are right. it's just that it's a matter of time. we believe that new ATH for ethereum will most likely be achieved again. however, it can happen unless there is a bull run of crypto, especially bitcoin, as well as a little development of ethereum to reduce the fees from the transaction. it will prop the price of ethereum to reach new ATH.
However, we don't know when this will happen, so for now all we can do is collect ethereum little by little until it becomes a lot, so that we don't miss it again. What's more I think this will take quite a long time because of the large number of FUDs currently available.
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: August 13, 2022, 03:59:24 AM
It's hard to know when to sell. I usually determine the levels and sell in batches when the coin reaches those marks.
Also sometimes pay attention to the greed index and a map of liquidations Smiley
Actually, determining when is the right time to sell the assets you own is not that difficult. when you have made a sizable profit from the assets you have, it is the right time. however, because sometimes we have a desire to get higher profits, then we continue to hold on to the assets we have, even though we already get a fairly high profit. however, it happened to me too. it may be very difficult to determine when is the right time to sell until the token or coin is dumped, and make us lose. we will realize that when we have profited that it is the right time. that is the opinion i have.
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing Potential projects on: August 11, 2022, 05:52:46 AM
It’s a mine field investing in new, immature projects. You know what happens when you walk through a mine field? Most people get blown up. Some people hit winners but it’s mostly shitcoin roulette. I would advise to DCA into bitcoin & eth & forget about chasing the rainbow.
well, if you want to leave a big risk, then choosing bitcoin and ethereum is the right choice. that's because the potential for new projects is sometimes only visible at first. after that, lots of rugpulls or other FUDs happen. maybe a small part of it made it through that, and made a big profit, that's what investors want, it's just that it's hard to find. Many people assume that doing in-depth research on a new, multi-faceted project will lead to finding such a project. well, that's not wrong, but we also need to know when it's time to leave the ship before when it sinks. this can be done when you continuously make in-depth observations of the project you are targeting. whether it's from the team, and other developments. it would be great if you invest when they have determined the market that will list the coins from their project. however, there is a big risk if you invest in a new project that has no market. The advice I have, try choosing a project that will be listed on a large market such as Binance and Kucoin. it is the closest altcoin project to the rainbow. but still the risk is there.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin investments have become risky this day. on: August 10, 2022, 08:13:27 AM
well, I still believe in that, even more so for popular altcoins. You should have known from the start that investing in crypto was risky. so many people have said this, over and over again. however, due to the high volatility, even when the bear market arrived, still quite a lot of people benefited from it, even very many people who got rich with it.
however, perhaps this recent drastic drop has left enough people who are unprepared for the risk of actually becoming depressed. however, in the business world, we have to be ready with it, and try to bounce back. even with the downturn, there are still quite a lot of people who are enthusiastic about altcoins, it proves that it is still worth considering as a place to invest, even with high volatility.
1000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most trusted stable coin currently (in your opinion)? on: August 10, 2022, 03:03:52 AM
With the audit involved, I think the most trusted stablecoin would be USDC and BUSD.  They had a documented record of audit that shows their stablecoin is full backed by $USD and it was proven that logarithmic stablecoin isn't that stable, just look at what happen to UST, and USDT had caught lying to us regarding their statement that they are fully backed up by USD.
well, I also think that BUSD has great trust, especially when they have a trusted CEO and team and a clear company, making trust in people grow. but still, of all of them, USDT has the most volume, and since the UST incident, I've been thinking about keeping coins stable in my wallet for too long. well, rather than stable coins, maybe I prefer Fiat, or other more popular coins like bitcoin or ethereum. but beyond that, I've only used USDT and BUSD so far for stable coin.
