981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 14, 2023, 01:01:34 PM
But also for sure as Jokic became the MVP this season provably many scouts or teams will find the same like skill set what Jokic have.

When it comes to big men, it is difficult to find someone with the same skills as Jokic. Even among the current popular big men in the NBA, there is no other player who consistently contributes triple doubles throughout the season or who can make his teammates better like Jokic does. Despite Embiid being named the regular season MVP, he is not as good as Jokic.
982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Committed Suicide After Losing School fees, And That Of Friend To Betting.. on: June 13, 2023, 06:55:35 PM
School fees or college fees? The article mentions that he is 22-years old. I would expect someone in his early 20s to act more maturely. But then I know a lot of people who have taken out loans from banks so that they can gamble. In the end, they lose whatever collateral they have provided and end up in penury. Some of the conservatives argue that these incidents are quite common and therefore gambling should be banned altogether. But I don't agree with their views either. If we ban gambling, then it will just push the industry undercover and victims of fraud and crime will be afraid to go to the police.

That's right and it is also undeniable that the country's economy is having a boost because of the gambling industry, it's just that the effects towards the people are unbearable because not everyone who gambles towards it have the right mindset beforehand or at least got a decent goal so that they can avoid burying their feet even if they are still alive.

The story of a 22 year old boy might be unfortunate because he is also a victim of gambling but we cannot really do something about it as it was his own decision in the first place that pushed him and made him to commit suicide. I just cannot imagine what the boy had experience beforehand because he sees no other way.
983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 13, 2023, 06:24:49 PM
Beckham WAS working on it, but to me it looked like it was a futile attempt and would never happen. I mean let's look at the details, one team is PSG, paying him tens of millions of dollars and he would be still playing at a high level without a doubt just as he did for 2 seasons, the other is Barcelona, is youth club he played nearly 20+ years and 15+ professional and won so many and they were willing to pay him a lot too, just that they would have to sell some other players to make it happen.

And another was Saudi Arabia, maybe not as good of a league that's true and they are "trying" something but so far have like 3 or 4 good players, rest of the league sucks but ONE BILLION!! dollars was offered.

When you see these, Inter Miami looks like a joke, and yet one way or another they convinced him, that's a big deal.

Barcelona FC was so keen in getting him but when Messi asked them, they cannot give a solid answer and was part of the reason why he did not return to Spain.
Anyway, here are some reasons that I found that might be reasonable enough on why Messi joined the Inter Miami FC and not Barcelona or Saudi Arabia.

1. Barcelona cannot afford it YET
A sensational return to Spain was reportedly Messi's preferred option, and the club was also keen on bringing him back.
However, although they have managed to get the green light from LALIGA to make a move for Messi, they still need to make sales to fund the operation.
The Qatar 2022 champion wanted his future sorted as soon as possible, and Barcelona were unable to provide guarantees.

2. American branding/business deal
Although he stands to earn nothing close to the reported wages offered by the Saudi club, the move to the MLS is lucrative and can be huge for Messi's brand.
According to the Athletic, Messi will reportedly receive a portion of the profits made by Adidas and Apple, two MLS-affiliated companies, for joining Inter Miami.
He will also reportedly stand a chance to own a stake in the Miami-based club.

3. His family
Messi is evidently a family man, and they are involved in the decisions he makes.
According to reports, he did not see himself settling in Saudi Arabia with his family, hence the decision to choose Inter Miami.

984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy or hard to quit? on: June 13, 2023, 05:52:09 PM
Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?

I asked this because those who made some money through gambling near me always go back to gamble and they end up losing everything they once made through gambling.

Is it fine to say that people should not go back into gambling once they made high amount of money? Because the chance of losing that money again is very high, even if they don't use all the money to gamble at once, gambling can take it all back in time.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?

Rough to say because if we win a life changing money, that will just add some fuel to the fire and our desire will increase in the hopes that we could duplicate what we won or it's just that greed are speaking more from us. I will not deny it because we are just humans and most probably, that will happen to me if it happens that I won a huge amount that is already considered as a life changing.
985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: June 13, 2023, 05:06:35 PM
If Donaire loses and Santiago wins, there is no sense of continuing his boxing journey now and it's good to hang his gloves now. He cemented already his legacy as one of the well-known PH boxers who established a great boxing career.

Right! There is no need to further add an embarrassment to his career and be a stepping stone for the young ones because there is no need for him to prove anything as he already became one of the best boxers ever that has fought at 118. A retirement after a loss in this fight is the best thing to do but if it's the opposite, he surely need to have a fight much sooner if possible because time is not on his side anymore.
986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 13, 2023, 04:45:36 PM
Might be hard to break WB's record though for triple double. I guess it's better for him to retain it for next year. But it's going to be hard to win back back as teams are going to upgrade their roster for sure.
Eventually, that record will be broken as Jokic continues to play with more confidence. Unlike Westbrook's record, which was mostly caused by stat-padding with little impact on the team's success, I bet that even if Westbrook returns to OKC, he will not generate that same level of triple-double consistency anymore, as he has already slowed down.

Let's just face that the triple double Westbrook was already gone since he was traded towards the Washington Wizards because if I recall it correctly, since that point, his stats declined over the years until now that he's actively playing for Los Angeles Clippers but for Jokic though, he is still young and have more years left in the league, in which I see him breaking a few more records including Westbrook's all-time triple double because right now, he's in the 7th place and maybe next season he will replace Magic Johnson in the 3rd place.
987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 12, 2023, 08:37:40 PM

And it now happened, WBA Super Bantamweight Champion Marlon Tapales might now be the PH boxer who has the chance to face Naoya Inoue first, instead of the expectation of the majority, that it's Casimero who is currently still climbing the 122 division rankings. Of course, Tapales meeting Inoue soon will just happen if the latter will win against Fulton.

If Stephen Fulton wins against Naoya Inoue, Marlon Tapales instead will unify his belt against him. If Fulton still wins, Tapales might meet Inoue as both will be a contender but the status of Casimero when that time comes might still be hanging because he can't even secure a big fight "for now" to somehow give him a chance to climb at a much higher rank.

There's also a possibility that later in the 122 division, a PH vs PH might face each other.

Well then, too early for these speculations mine Smiley. What matter here is, Tapales is now almost secured to have the next big fight on his timeline.

What you're saying is not entirely impossible mate because as long as Casimero will stay active and have successive fights, soon enough, his ranking will surely increase and most probably will earn himself a big fight someday. Although there might be some changes when it comes to the possible opponent of Casimero, Inoue and Tapales because I think Fulton will shuffle all the cards in time when he leaves the division and vacates the belt he is possessing, if he won his future fight with Inoue.

If Fulton will win and Inoue will stay on this current division, the chance of seeing Casimero vs Inoue might take place,
it's possible since the belt will be vacant once Fulton move up.

Though if ever Inoue will win, then the chance to see Tapales to be his next target is possible by knowing Inoue, he wanted
to unify all belts.

Let see what would be the outcome first from this upcoming fight next month.

There are some boxers who are way ahead of Casimero and are much rightful to be named as one of the contenders of the vacated belt, considering that Inoue lost the fight and the belts is now vacated by Fulton. But just like what is happening in other divisions, an Inoue vs Casimero might take place although it's not that guaranteed because of the reason that I've mentioned but Top Rank might select Casimero during the process while it's not that risky for their boxer compared to when Inoue is the champion.
988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 11, 2023, 09:28:41 PM
Did you guys heard and saw the boo's McGregor got last night ? Hahah it was hilarious to watch and hear those fans booing him even if I have big respect for McGregor and what he did for sports some years ago.

On NBA , what can I say more ? let Jokic win it man and let him go back to his horses because I really enjoy to see his videos regarding this topic. That man is a treasure outside the basketball game and a ring should be well deserved for him and for Denver as well.

Was that interaction staged or was there a real interaction where McGregor wasn't pleased and decided to punch the mascot? Because the video I saw was somehow too real to believe that he did really punched the mascot so hard even if it was already on the floor.

So, anyway, back to the topic. The next game might be the last as well so there's no need to be hasty about it because as far as we can see it, it definitely looks like that the Miami Heat have nowhere to go anymore as if they cannot make any difference in the next game at all. Might be sad for the fans because the Heat have come up this far but unfortunately, the Denver Nuggets was just too great for them to handle.
989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble if you don't have patience on: June 11, 2023, 08:44:21 PM
I think all gamblers who have patience are those I consider as good gamblers, and I often marvel at how someone could risk their money without having patience. This is because patience is a must for being able to gamble and expect to lose money as well as win it. However, a gambler who can't tolerate losing can never be a successful one, and I don't believe that person will succeed in gaming.
You can see that if these people didn't have that patience, they would still be where they are now. I also feel that the people who are successful in gambling today got there with the patience they have; they lose and keep trying till they succeed.

good gamblers are those who can afford to gamble responsibly. because if gamblers can gamble responsibly, of course they will have patience and excellent self-control when betting on all types of gambling without having to get emotional and be greedy.
if gamblers cannot gamble responsibly, of course they find it difficult to control themselves and will be affected by emotions and will usually do things that can give regret such as chasing losses.

This may take a while and a lot of practice as well before someone can hold out their emotions when engaging gambling activities because even if we are saying this frequently, it is actually not that easy to do and conquer but after all the hardships, it will be all worth while because if you manage to control your emotions like patience, greediness, etc. then it will be safe to assume that you're way above average than other players.
990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 11, 2023, 08:21:19 PM
With Messi moving to Miami , I do have confidence that he will be playing at the next WC , especially that he will know all the pitches by then and having extra info even if the age won't forgive Messi but I would like to see him playing one more WC. Now , can Argentina win it again ? I doubt it because believe it or not , England looks the strongest team on the planet right now , because they do have a lot of young talented players with massive experience in both WC , EC but also UCL and Premier League. Cool

Why do you think that because of playing in America, Messi will have less chance to perform at the next world championship? On the contrary, the American soccer league is less demanding than the European soccer league and this may help Messi play longer and extend his soccer career. After all, even though he plays in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo still plays for Portugal.
Along with Brazil and France, Argentina is always among the favorites at every World Cup and that will not change.
England is a strong national team? Yes, their clubs are strong at the moment, but because of the large number of quality foreigners playing in England, while the national team still hasn't achieved any great result in a major competition.
That is correct. Saudis are crazy for football so are Portugal and Brazil
Messi has made all his fans upset by going to intermiami - but we are looking fwd to see how it unfolds. Ronaldo has been living like a king in Saudia he has been treated with great respect and love. Had Messi been part of SPL it would be a great surprize for all the fans.

Sure enough that nobody have been expecting nor saw that coming because if I recall it correctly, neither of the signs were pointing at the Inter Miami CF as people and rumors have been suspecting that it's either Messi will join Ronaldo in Saudi or he will go back to Barcelona until the day of his retirement. But that didn't happen and safe enough to say that people are curious why Miami has been chosen for the legend.
991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 10, 2023, 04:41:07 PM
I totally agree with you guys on the Butler topic. He is really inadequate on the offensive side in this series which can lead Heat to lose easier than most of us expect. Butler needs to be more active with his steal attempts and scoring many more points than this at the same time. He has been the main factor in Heat's reaching this round in the playoff stage in the first place.

As you know Heat finished the regular season in 7th place in the Eastern Conference. As a result not many people including me were giving them a chance to have a run like this. Butler has done the biggest work in this time period by scoring a lot of points and carrying his team. He has become like Lakers' Lebron or Warriors' Curry.

Therefore Butler needs to be aware of the seriousness of the situation and do something.

It's definitely a gameover If Denver Nuggets should win this game 4, which I think they will unless Jimmy Butler choses to either step up today or sit out, and I really don't know when next he get a shot at winning a championship, should the Heat win the Championship this it's pretty obvious whose name would make the most story and it's that of Butler's over everyone else on the Heat roster, he's stated really with the Bucks and Celtics, but all that would have count for nothing if he folds now!

What NBA story could possible better than the 8th seeded team and with the most undrafted playing winning a championship while beating the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th best teams of the regular season enroute to the victory, and that'll make Jimmy go down as the first to have done it, I know they're some many record that have been broken this season and post alone by various teams or individual, but there is still a few more that could get broken too.

The Heat have never been behind in a series prior to the NBA Finals. This is the only series where they are trailing, but if it becomes 3-1, then you are right that the series could be over soon. However, it's too early to discuss that in my opinion because the Heat are still fighting to even the series. Despite being the underdogs, they haven't let that deter them. They are here to compete and aim to make history by winning the championship. It's this kind of dedication that makes them a good team.

But the thing is, the Denver Nuggets is also aiming the same thing where they can make a history and give the franchise their very first championship title. Winning the next game in their own home is very likely the case because I don't think that they will not push and force this game so that they can celebrate their very first own title in their home. And about the Heat, they still have a chance to bounce back but let's just be honest here because their chance is not that good as they are definitely having a hard time pushing a win against the whole roster of Nuggets.
992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: June 10, 2023, 04:17:49 PM
Official weigh-in for both fighters,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnB69bb8BV0

Taylor - 139.8 lbs
Lopez - 140 lbs

And now here's where the trash talking ends, they have time to rehydrate and be ready for the big fight in 24 hours. Josh Taylor is still the favorite so I'm not surprised if he actually win this fight. It might be close if a different version of Lopez shows in this fight. But if he got the wrong strategy and just want to counter then Josh might take it early and then dominate the fight in full 12 rounds.

There's also a good undercard in Xander Zayas vs Ronald Cruz. And Robson Conceicao vs Nicolas Polanco.

I'm glad that both have met the weight requirement, so there's no hindrance to this fight not pushing through. I'm excited for the fight tomorrow, not only because I'm excited to win, but also to see how Josh Taylor will punish Teo Lopez in the ring. This trash talker's mouth will be shut down by the real champion.

Yeah, they are both locked and loaded and ready to rumble tomorrow. But I am somehow disappointed as to why Top Rank or was it New York's boxing commission that did not allow both of them to have a press conference face-off and weigh-in face-off. I felt like Josh Taylor benefits from the face-offs. People are more accustomed to Teofimo Lopez's trash talks but Josh is actually not a humble dude. It's probably the reason why Teofimo was only good at talking but when the time they are near each other Teofimo is silent and it is Josh that is talking, finger-pointing, and wanted to get near to Lopez. It just so happens that Lopez is facing another bully like him but this Scottish bully is more proven and is the former undisputed champion. Lopez was fucking behaved like a good boy in the weigh-in. His useless dad was the one acting tough but he is not the one fighting though. It would've been a hell of a promotion if both Taylor and Lopez made some face-offs before fight night.

I reckon it was Top Rank who requested the security in the beginning, maybe they are expected something worst than just a shoving and pushing, just like in the Loma vs Haney fight.

So they asked for a New York Policeman to be present in the face-off and weigh-in and then more security personnel in between to separate the two. So there is the mind games, all the trash talking, now it's fight time. So we will see if Lopez can live up to his hype and who is going to go to the canvass. Sr though, giving the middle finger to the fans of Josh. Taylor, LOL. Unfortunately, it was live and the camera caught it.

That might be the case and the reason why the weigh-in was just literally only weigh-in with no face off in the last part, I guess that additional security really helped to control what might happen because we never know, Teofimo or Josh might be so hype and will start some pushing that will make the stage crazy while there are a million of people around the globe watching the weigh-in live.

I'm just curious why Teofimo didn't had some crazy words and just decided to stare Josh until the end while letting the latter do all the talk in-front of him.
993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 10, 2023, 03:51:38 PM
Denver is definitely the play tonight. Miami got lucky to win one game but they won't win another. Nuggets -3 to the bank.
I wouldn't totally say that Miami got lucky in game 2. I mean they have reach the finals already and defeating the #1 and #2 teams and #5 seed in the East. Because if we say that they got lucky means that they are not a good team. But they proved otherwise and remain the underdog throughout the playoffs and yet here they are in the finals and have another chance to win.

Although I would say it might be the most difficult series for them as it seems that Jokic and Murray are unstoppable and putting numbers during the height of the Lakers run, similar to what Shaq and Kobe are getting in the playoffs.

I agree. It is just that the Miami Heat always come short when it comes to almost every aspect in the game against Nuggets and even their offensive techniques as well as defensive strategies aren't really working against the Nuggets duo. Quite a low scoring game for the Nuggets because Jokic and Murray wasn't scoring the way they used to be but still the Heat struggled and never won a single quarter. Now that it is already 3-1, I think it's already too late for the Heat to make a comeback especially in the next game where it will be in the Nuggets playground.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy BNB now? on: June 08, 2023, 06:03:34 PM
You can buy any coin like who have very strong community. Even if they have way for earning money from holding bnb then you can buy frequently. The marketplace of bnb very strong and larger investors community that's why very trusted. The bnb exchange management top in the crypto work so you can do relux.

I think what's relevant to the question is that Binance has as case against SEC now, so obviously, it's native token is being hit hard because of this. And with the OP's question, very difficult to give answers, but we all know that BNB is a solid project, it is one of those coins that enjoy a good run during the last bull run, hitting all time high.

For me personally, I will still invest, but I will try to diversify as well and not put everything in one basket. Maybe just a small percentage of your portfolio will include coins in the top 10 including BNB and HODL and then pray that in the next bull run, it will again hit a new all time high, thus making good profits for everyone.

Well, it's somehow normal that altcoins are having their own problems and it's not that surprising anymore especially the top performing altcoins such as ETH, BNB, ADA. But regarding to the question asked by the OP, nobody can give a concrete answer whether if it's a good time to buy BNB now or should you wait some time like when the prices will go down. If I were on your shoes OP, now is the best time to invest while it's still cheap because I'm somehow positive that BNB will rise again when the bull comes.
995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do women engage in crypto trading on: June 08, 2023, 03:24:23 PM
bitcoin of course for men and women and also i don't know if many men trade crypto or women but what i know women also trade crypto a lot and i also have a female friend and she has a lot of knowledge about crypto and her knowledge also more than me.

The thing is, people don't acknowledge the fact that women do trade. I don't know if people see it as a man's thing to trade and women ain't suppose to be involved. Like you said your female friend who knows more about crypto, some women has more knowledge in terms of crypto trading than men and they (women) are even doing better than men in Bitcoin trading. Women are good that's just the thing.

It's not that people doesn't want to acknowledge it, it's just that we actually do not really care if it is a man or a woman behind every trades or movement as there are no boundaries in crypto space and everyone is free to do their own thing as long as they are using the space and platform legally. Aside from that, I don't think that we still have the time to even think about the possible gender and sometimes, women can do a lot better than what men can do, sometimes.
996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Self custody will always win on: June 08, 2023, 02:52:18 PM

As a matter of fact, decentralized exchanges should be as good as centralized exchanges, and many people will start using them. One of my friends told me that he thinks that centralized exchanges are better for trading, so he will never abandon a Dex to deal with it.

No one is saying that decentralized exchanges are bad, we have to admit that they still cannot compare to the utilities and variety of services centralized exchanges provide. We enter the market not only to invest and hold, but there are many other ways for us to make profits, and most of those services and methods are provided by CEXs. For trading alone, DEXs cannot offer many trading pairs, and high transaction fees are a big obstacle for traders. While CEXs are providing these features very well, it is very difficult to discontinue or remove CEXs.

Exactly! Investors and holders will not be holding their coins into CEXs if there is no need for them to retain their coins in that particular platform as I don't think that people especially big hodlers don't know the risks of holding various coins in CEXs. We should understand that there are always an advantages and disadvantages about CEXs and DEXs, moreover, people have their own reasons why they prefer DEXs over CEXs or vice versa.
997  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using ToS against users normal? on: June 08, 2023, 11:48:33 AM
Changing of terms and conditions without notifying the users or gamblers is normal with online gambling websites? Then when you did something wrong or about to withdraw your money they will tell you that you don't read their terms and conditions, and you start arguing with them until you decide to read the ToS again and you find out that it's different.

Some gambling websites consist of wicked owners that willingly plan to defraud their users using the ToS against them, or is this normal? Have such happened to anyone on this forum before?
actually this will only favor them in short term because every wrong doings will have  response from the players and they may run away from some but surely not in permanent situation.
we have seen some gambling site that did this and yes eventually their reputation dies and now ? they are not even exceed from their past activities.

Running a gambling site is not easy. Its main asset for profitability in the business is its reputation. If a gambling site were to destroy that reputation, it can expect that gamblers will leave the site, and sooner or later, the business will close. Those who attempt to take advantage by illegally changing the terms will not be able to survive in an industry where competition is very tough.
998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 08, 2023, 11:20:38 AM

This means a 2-1 lead for Nuggets in the series of course which is an important advantage. Because Nuggets can use their upcoming court advantage really effectively. But even though Heat are a surprising team in this round they are still very dangerous. Nuggets need to continue to fight with all they have. Murray's help is crucial for the team as Jokic by himself has to carry the team otherwise.

Home court advantage isn't as important anymore because both teams have shown the ability to win on the road. With the series at 2-1, it will be tied if the Miami Heat can secure a victory in game 4, and I believe they will find a way to make it happen. Otherwise, there's a possibility that their journey will come to an end in game 5 on the Nuggets' home court. In this game, the Heat showcased their character, but they were simply outworked and outsmarted by the Nuggets. Similar to how the Nuggets made major adjustments after their loss in game 2, I'm confident that the Heat will also make significant adjustments to improve their performance.
999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 07, 2023, 08:15:58 PM

I can also see the same road as Inoue might continue to follow Manny Pacquiao's footsteps to become a champion from division to division, although judging from Inoue's build, I can only see him having his max limit inside the featherweight or super featherweight division. I may not be correct of course as we definitely don't know what will happen in the future and what is exactly the plan of Inoue in his own career. But let's see, Inoue may have some surprise to us in the next few years.

That's why I'm excited to see this match, as it's Inoue's first fight in a higher-weight class. Many fans believe that Inoue will still be able to maintain his power and quickness, so hopefully, we will witness that in this upcoming fight scheduled for July. Inoue is highly popular, so Fulton aims to surpass his popularity and make a name for himself.

Inoue needs to be swift in moving up and engaging in championship fights if he wants to break the record set by MP, which remains unbroken as of now. If he succeeds, he will make his own mark in history.

Still a long way to go for Inoue, but with his dedication and with how his handlers see his talent, there's a big chance that he will proceed in trying to keep moving forward.

If Inoue will beat Fulton, it will be possible again for him to complete and unify the belt, then move another weight
to challenge the champ. It's a chance that he may take to keep pursuing and to possibly reach or maybe break
the record of Pacquiao.

Yes, it's possible, Marlon Tapales is just waiting on the wings of the winner here as it was approved that he can fight either Fulton or Inoue.

I don't think that Inoue can break the record of Manny Pacquiao though, Pacquiao is not on the hunt for unification during his reign. What Bob Arum and Coach Roach did was to make money go up in weight and challenge the champion and get their belt. He might have defended it once or twice and then vacant the belt to go as high as 154 lbs. I don't see Inoue climbing up to that ladder. He already said that he can go as high as 126-130 lbs only.

I see, and with how each champ from different defends their belts.

It will be difficult for Inoue to climb as the belt holders from those possible divisions to move up are all competitive
unlike when the time of Pacquiao he surprises all the defending champ and snatches the title away from each title
holders.

Inoue surely knows what to do and most probably, he knows that he shouldn't do any hasty decisions so that he will not commit any mistakes down the road. And while he is still a newbie at 122, he should adopt to the current weight first to feel himself if he's comfortable or not and if his body can still manage any additional weight from climbing the next weight class. A lot of factors that the team should first consider because it's not that simple.

I thought Artur Beterbiev's next fight will be against Dmitry Bivol and he even voiced it out and express his interest in the post-fight interview after his dominant win against Anthony Yarde last January retaining his WBC, IBF, and WBO Light-heavyweight titles. I don't know what is the hindrance why Beterbiev-Bivol seems not a priority. Bivol's last fight was in November last year and yet no signs of his next fight.

I've just learned that the deal was won by the Top Rank Promotions.

And guess what, obviously as a champion, the purse split for this match is 70/30, in favor of Artur Beterbiev.

Still boils down as who manages Bivol and his citizenship, there were even reports that his purse was still in limbo when he fought and won against Canelo, so not just if he has been paid already since there is a boycott amongst Russian athletes, (not just boxers).
I guess his process for citizenship is still going on and with the current situation, he might have to wait for some years for that because the first world countries are pressing some pressures towards Russian athletes even though they are not directly connected with what happened. It's a shame though because the entertainment industry has been affected because of that.

Beterbiev is under Top Rank, and he has been fighting under the Canadian flag or at least his residency is Canada for many years now. And then again, Bivol is with Eddie Hearn's Marchroom and this is the one preventing this two to fight, both of their manager doesn't want to sit down and negotiate for a unification fight.
Bob Arum already said before that after Beterbiev's fight with Anthony Yarde, he will agree to a possible unification fight as long as he will be the one to organize it and not Hearn as they are on the A-side. There are some spicy words of course about Matchroom and its viewers but the point is, Arum is only willing as long as his conditions is met. Sadly, there is another roadblock that prevented the unification fight from happening, and that is Bivol's nationality.

So let's see if Eddie Hearn will allow that, recently, him and Bob Arum has been talking against each other, for one, Arum says that Hearn hasn't done anything as a promoter in the US soil. While Hearn responded that Arum is slipping and then there are better promoters than him, including his very own Match Room. So I doubt that this is very easy to make, unless they become professional and sit down and just talk about the money. But I guess the best catch here would be a 50/50 split in revenue. So let's see if the fight can happen in the future. There are too many obstacles and hurdles to overcome.

So far though, in this fight, it's Beterbiev by knock out.
Bob Arum should know Eddie Hearn's situation because Bob Arum doesn't have any Russian boxers in his stable that actually lives in Russia because if he were in Hearn's shoes, I don't think that Arum will just let the fight happen in US soil even if it's not going to have any benefit for his own boxers. As a promoter for Bivol, Hearn surely knows how to handle a business that will include his own boxer and not just for the promoter's sole benefit.

Most probably, this unification discussion between them will take at least couple of months before they reach a deal with of course, Arum and Beterbiev in the A-side and of course, his network handling it. But even so, there's the WBC who will not let that happen as the council have strongly objected about that possibility.
