982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum SCAM? on: June 27, 2020, 10:43:17 PM
ETH being a scam is more likely BNB trying to scam us. If you look at it If ETH is a scam (just a speculation) The market will tumbling down because ETH is one of the largest coin out there. If it turns out being a scam how do you think people would think about cryptocurrencies generally. They will have doubts which can result on the downfall of crypto. But no, ETH is not a scam if it is then it should be long gone when it reached it's ATH back in 2018.
True! It's just too fun to see people ask about thing like this! ETH has been around the market for a long period of time. It has gained its reputation and credibility since 2017. Personally I think ETH is the second most trusted coin in the cryptocurrency market nowadays!
Firstly, this issue and this thread was created long ago (in the 2017) when some people still doubt ETH genuine stance just like we also did to some new altcoin in the market because ETH was just 2 years then. However, the misconceptions happened from the OP end because of the amount ETH Vitalik had/giveaway.
Secondly, i dont think this should be a concern now that ETH have prove to be one of the best crypto in have in the market.

@Mods Please lock this thread

do not know why you would want to lock the thread, people can still doubt ETH, if they want, for me it is legit, and probably the best platform for smart contracts, certainly most widely used, but everyone else has their right to think different and discuss that on the forum
This is a 3 years old discussion and the reputation with the perform of ETH is sufficient to clear the doubt of very investors and traders who dont follow the false information and hype in the market. So, i think this should be a problem anymore.
983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: June 26, 2020, 09:31:24 PM
Why there are so many threads like this? What does BTC and crypto trading have to do with COVID-19? Like affecting it's price and make traders panic because of the economic collapse?

I don't think it affect that much, and traders keep trading like the normal days. While the economy collapsed, cryptocurrency and blockchain have benefited more from it. Before the lockdown happened here in my city, Bitcoin was treading water from $5k to $5.5k.

Now we're treading water at $9k to $9.5k range and blockchain-related jobs, virtual events and demand have surged even more.
There is a link between trading and Covid 19. For example, during this lockdown, number of players have significantly increased in online and live casinos. That was the result of people staying at home for a long time. Logically, same should apply to trading and yeah, that happened. When you are stuck at home and think about other possibilities to earn money, trading will be the most common thing you'll see online. So this made a lot of people interested in trading and as a result volume has increased a lot.

Price is a whole different subject because there happened opposite of what people were thinking and saying. Bitcoin was able to be stable in such a hard moments. I think COVID proved to people that bitcoin is different from their centralized USD and there is some light in it.
You guys both make a quality point and i agreed with @shield132 because there was high traffic of crypto trading and investors during the total lockdown while there also increase in number of panic/emergency of bitcoin sell we also see some investors accumulating Gold.
Meanwhile, covid 19 will make both postive and negative impact on the market but its the level of every individual understand and trust in the market will determine what will happen.

positive effects is still high compare to the negative effect of covid because  people are more aware in crypto . this include new people that havent know crypto before , those that leave crypto can still come back soon and if that happens crypto will now become powerful than before .

the price is the same because like i said earlier there are people that sell and there are people that buy . the only thing that improve is the awareness which is still a win win situation  .
The awareness and usage of crypto broadened due to number of crypto exchange user traffic level but if we calculate the level downtrend and uptrend of the market i can say it a 50-50 percentage and the important thing is that the market maintain price range that prevent huge panic sell.
984  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC next Movement......... on: June 26, 2020, 12:22:59 PM
It seems to be profit booking happening around as price in last week has slowly dropped like 9400$ to now 9100$.

Possibly happening as there's investors who are satisfied with the profits and now cashing out their earnings.
Thats correct and expect the market to go back to uptrend when it Sunday evening  but the whales are the major players that determine the trend of the market and this is the season when experienced traders make slightly profit.

This is not looking good because it can now even fall below 9k levels too. Though on fall it will be a good time to buy as well.
If you are looking for longer term holding then the timing will be very suitable purchasing more assets.
This is current market it good for long term investors but the traders/investors that will make the highest profit are the short term. @reliable, the price downtrend below $9K will even make the profit worth it.

986  Economy / Reputation / Re: Negative trust is your free right. But false claims are unwarranted. on: June 25, 2020, 11:01:42 PM

If you want to clear the air. I will advise you to correct the whitepaper that was plagiarised and privately provides the prove about the team to people like The Pharmacist/stompix/Suchmoon because some people are yet to believe the previous evidence you provided due to @The Pharmacist's message.
In the meantime, you have learned a pretty hard lesson and whenever you gave job to content writers or ICO services always cross-check their job.

The one thing that is definitely new since June 2020 is the whitepaper. We have hired new people with good reputation who are helping us get this ICO back on its feet.

Please read it on icoin.ws.

Edit: for the people misunderstanding us: We are not against the negative trust ratings. We are against the false accusations in the comments made against us (That we are from spectresecurity.io or that we have scammed anyone. We have never scammed anyone nor do we know who spectresecurity.io is) - These accusations are ungrounded. we hope you understand.
Now i understand your point. I need you to understand that crypto related project scam is done in assortments of ways and it not only project that robs investors/bounty hunter off their money are the only project to tag as scam, every project that is not honest in either through the roadmap, whitepaper or rewards etc can also be tag as scam project.
987  Economy / Reputation / Re: Negative trust is your free right. But false claims are unwarranted. on: June 25, 2020, 10:23:09 AM
Most ICOs go into the world of ICOs with little forewarning about obscure "marketing" tactics of these "service providers".

If you're restarting it now - what happened to the original IEO and to the bounty campaign? Did you stiff bounty participants?

The bounty rewards will be given out after the restarted ICO has concluded. The IEO on Latoken has already finished but we have not sold all the tokens yet.
If you want to clear the air. I will advise you to correct the whitepaper that was plagiarised and privately provides the prove about the team to people like The Pharmacist/stompix/Suchmoon because some people are yet to believe the previous evidence you provided due to @The Pharmacist's message.

988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Nobody talks about Bitcoin Diamond on: June 24, 2020, 09:15:25 PM
Crypto community and investors are not talking about Bitcoin diamind is because we already have more than enough forked coin of bitcoin and the last time checked every forked coin will never surpassed it really originator thats also what happened to LTC, XMR etc. fork coin they usually dont get much support.
It is better to the developer to create own project rather than trying to use the name/protocol of already existing coin to get popular.

990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PAYPAL RUMOR on: June 23, 2020, 09:00:38 PM
I think the crucial word is Rumour -‘ three people familiar with the matter’ !
Here’s the full link

https://www.coindesk.com/paypal-venmo-to-roll-out-crypto-buying-and-selling

Personally I can’t see it happen

And they are currently looking to hire crypto engineers:

https://cointelegraph.com/news/paypal-is-hiring-crypto-engineers-amid-rumors-of-bitcoin-integration

I've been a Paypal user for almost a decade in receiving salaries for my work. However, due to their ridiculous high fees, I stopped using them as option for receiving payments (except when buying plane tickets from local flight carriers for most of the past two years).

A couple of years ago, Paypal CEO claimed that Bitcoin is the biggest scam in history due to the pump and dump scenario:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/ktorpey/2018/04/24/founding-paypal-ceo-bill-harris-says-bitcoin-is-a-scam-heres-why-hes-wrong/

How funny that he threw off the hat and now considering to welcome Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in open arms.
I heard about this rumor yesterday, i spent 2 hours of my time researching if the rumor was true and i find out that Dan Schulman (Paypal CEO) dont take back his previous statement about Bitcoin but he respects the trend bitcoin hold when the economy meltdown was severe.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STEEM will rise again on: June 22, 2020, 10:01:28 PM
Thank you for remembering Steem. According to WordCoinIndex Steem has fallen to it's 218th place on the list. According to the charts Steem's price seems to be going up slowly.

Source: https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/steem
This isnt only the one who do shows up some gradual increase but doesnt mean that these projects would make a uturn. There are other coins such us Cardano(ADA)

which do had also some significant movements that might give out some spark to some on investing to it but it wouldnt be in my case. You can risk though but dont go all in.

There were several updates and happenings but im not sure on why i cant trust up alts nowadays.
The coin have been in existing for so long but still not putting all in the coin is a wise decision and i think major reason why the coin is inadequacy in the aspect of utility and value is because of the social concept the team based the coin on.
From my ending, i dont see any reason in invest in the coin when i can possibly earn it.

992  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the Best Bitcoin wallet? on: June 21, 2020, 09:56:03 PM
Because of easy to use and no complexity, I normally use Coinbase wallet. Its very good for daily use.And you can buy Eth,Btc Ltc etc using bank in Coinbase.
Coinbase is an exchange site just like Binance and they are never a wallet service provider but both are still good exchange.

But Blockchain wallet is also good online wallet but i prefer coinbase.Because I find blockchain wallet a little bit complex.
Blockchain wallet is good but there was several situation where it users wallet are hacked but that is also applicable to every other web wallet because they are the most vulnerable wallet.

Lastly online wallet are very easy to hack for hackers. So if you have a money enough to buy hardcore wallet like trezor, then you should use it.
I think with $50 or $60 he can still get ledger nano hardware wallet but you need to make sure the site where you order for the wallet is genuine one.
993  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: INVESTORS/ I am looking for investors to develop an exchange platform XTIP on: June 20, 2020, 09:12:04 PM
Mention that I just registered, but I have a company with 7 years of reputation, my company is in 3 countries, and what we will do is fund money to create options to generate money and technology, the fact that it is new does not make me a profile false, I can fulfill all the guarantees.
Sure, I understand what you say,
but anyone with serious intention would present solid portfolio with some ideas or hired someone else to do it for them.
That is the proper way.

How would you guarantee anything?

If a person is really interested and has the funds to invest 1.2 or 100 bitcoins, they will contact me, I will present the complete project, what has already been done and what we are working on, in addition to being involved in my company, and the I would check my identity and security, if the person does not want or does not have the funds to finance it is better to stay on the sidelines, instead of criticizing.
Not until Vod investigation result is posted cause i still dont understand why you need people that will invested the Bitcoins when you already have all the project teams all set up and i expect you to do is an IEO.
994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we invest in a bitcoin exchange? on: June 20, 2020, 08:34:01 PM
@OP, Invest or creating exchange site is a good idea but required alot of research with experienced/expert in block chain and internet security not an organization that provided a source code and later be the same group to hack the site.
I will advise you to read the basic step provided on here but i dont recommend their service cause i only want you to know all what you need.

thee are too man bitcoin exchanges at this time, people only trust exchanges like Binance that can protect their funds.
There is much already existing crypto exchange site but that doesn't mean there's no room for another one since crypto business is a broad industry and whats important the most is offering people some unique features which was one of the reason people seem to acknowledge Binance cause no exchange site should be totally and that include Binance.

995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: June 19, 2020, 08:16:05 PM

Thank you for the answer. Would be great if you add it in the marketplace.
However, Since I trust the marketplace more than exchanges I used your official website. After doing an exchange from GOLD to BTC a few minutes ago as my first experience, I would like to say the trade was smooth, safe and super fast. So, I can confirm the BTC/GOLD trading pair is currently fixed and working perfectly as it should be.
many have spoken positively about this gold project, I am very impressed they paid bounty hunters with their own pockets so far, I am sure they saved a lot of gold or cash
GOLD has become one of the most sought after campaigns by signature hunter...
You're completely right because a lot of green trust members of which contributed to the forum positively choose to join this campaign and the best part is that project is self-funding and also good in what they do. I once said in some of my previous posts the forum is ready to support any honest and genuine project. Gold liquid Stablecoin on that list thats why we supported them.

next month is 1-year GOLD campaigned on this forum and they have done the best for their campaign participants, one of the best campaigns that are still active.
11th of next month will make a year of this cahasgn but thats not the important part cause the important part is that the company have a clean record and also gained huge traffic.
996  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better trade BTC or BNB? On BINANCE on: June 19, 2020, 02:58:41 PM
Hello, someone can explaine if is better trade in bnb or btc on binance...and when is better use BTC or BNB.
Thanks! Smiley

My first choice is BTC because i ever seen any tokens that go short time peak rate that i can interest that token. Even in this pandemic situation BTC hit 10k$ that was unbelievable to everyone. Yes BNB may be my 2nd choice that within short time it come near to investors and Binance token. It also in CMC ranking under 10 so we also believe on it but very slow move up.

So decision is yours. thanks.
You're right about Bitcoin to be the first choice to be trade on Binance but from my own experience ETH is the perfect second choice because the trading volume and liquidity level of very crypto currency is important on an exchange site or else you buy coins that you won't be able to sell later after in have invest in it.
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Talk Token and Yobit on: June 19, 2020, 02:16:53 PM
CRYPTOTALK CAMPAIGN
Get paid for every post and rate on CryptoTalk.org forum: https://cryptotalk.org

We pay 10 Talk Tokens for each post (after 100 first posts, max limit: 20 / day) and 1 Talk Token for each rate (for users that have more than 100 posts, max limit: 50 / day). Payment for the post occurs after 7 days and depends on the rating: if it is negative, then the payment will be zero. Cheat ratings or any automation is strictly prohibited!

We don't pay for messages from these countries: 'NG','EG','PK','ID','VE','BD','PH'.

I don't think they can be successful. What do you think?

I dont believe the impression of you posting the things going on Yobit forum was because you think it wont be successful but you trying to publicize whats going on there so to invite people because i dont see any point you telling us all this since you know they wont be successful.
Agreed. I dont see any reason why the OP have to create this thread in the first place if his intention was not to advertised the forum and it good newbie like already know the exchange to dishonest.
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH better than BTC for payment? on: June 18, 2020, 10:02:49 PM
Yeah of we look about how speed blockchain works is ETH win.
Because BTC is used old blockchain and ETH always update his system we can see ETH launching ETH 2.0 before.
But i really support BTC ever, because no one coin can compare with BTC, it is the mother of cryptocurrency and all coin here.
First of all, it totally not applicable to compare with any other crypto in the market now or in the future because bitcoin is an extraordinary project no matter how old you may think it blockchain system is and I'm sure if ETH was the crypto the governments against back then none of ETH enthusiast will still support ETH.
Second, the betterment of a project is not only about blockchain improvement but level of communities, investors, traders and miners support. Theres alot of project out there which claimed to have 6.0 and not supported.
999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: June 18, 2020, 09:20:14 PM
Damn Sociedad, second game without winning, screwed me on a parlay already. Now on to Valencia, riding on them to beat Real and hand Barca the title. Should be a fun game to watch anyway, and Valencia do have a europa place at least to fight for at this. Should be a cracker.

I wish Valencia could steal some points off Real Madrid, but what are the chances ?  Real Madrid have a VERY LARGE squad and the most relevant ones fit, might be a relatively easy win for the Los Blancos...

I don't know what Zidane is up to tonight, having Bale, Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr on the bench but starting just Hazard and Benzema up front. The game just kicked off! Should be interesting, indeed!
0-0 half time, but I wish Real Madrid to win that game so there will be a little bit challenge for the first place at least in La Liga not like Bundesliga or EPL..

That first half definitely wasn't a 0-0 game, Valencia did put on quite a performance...

We have seen some great football in the first half between Real and Valencia even though it is still without goals. There was a lot of chances for real but Cillessen rose up to the occasion. Valencia also had a few very good chances and managed to hit the post and even score the goal but VAR overruled it for marginal offside. Hope for more of the same in the second half and we will probably see some goals as well.

I don't know if offside calls like this should really be made, but the bottom line imo would remain the fact that rules are rules, except there is better review to the offside rule to cover certain situations. It was a great ball play from Valencia, I'm not even sure if the ball had touched Soler's feet who perhaps was offside by a whisker but Rodrigo was definitely onside.

Anything is possible in a football if the full-time whistle is blown but Real Madrid really mess up when they missed the big chance they had to have put the ball at the back of Valencia net and if the game continues lime this there's a chance that Valencia will make point either 3 or a single point today.

Bloomberg analyst shares why the bitcoin price will double to 20000$ this year in 2020. According to Mike Mcglone senior commodities analyst at Bloomberg, bitcoin is going to hit 20000 Dollars by the end of 2020. READ THE COMPLETE BLOG AND SHARE YOUR OPINION ....WHAT U THINK ...PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE BLOG TO KNOW ON WHAT BASIS THIS PREDICTION IS DONE .

Firstly, the manuscript writer didn't provide the link to the Bloomberg analyst statement as evidence that what he declared the analyst said is reality.
Second, prediction are always guess theory but said prediction was extracted from the community opinion about bitcoin halving to be effective next year.
