981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MEXC Research:Father of Antivirus Software, McAfee’s Cryptocurrency Journey on: June 25, 2021, 09:19:15 PM
With his prediction about 2020 ending to $500,000 many have been caught by it and believed because it's such a high price. But eventually, that prediction didn't happened.

The good thing about the end of 2020 was it's the start of the bull run that we've seen and despite the market dumped a lot, still the prices for most cryptos are still good.

Rest in peace to the founder of McAfee, his legacy will remain and his company will keep going and what he had done to the community as a bitcoin bull but we don't like what he did for shilling altcoins from day to day basis before.

The last stage of his life had been tainted by controversies. But it doesn't mean, his legacy in antivirus industry is  not acknowledged. He may had made wrong decisions in endorsing a lot of crypto projects before, but some became crypto enthusiasts because of him. Just unfortunate that a lot of projects supported by him turned to be a pump and dump schemes. Anyway, just look at the positive side of his life, and we will be grateful for the legacy he left behind. How many here grew up hearing McAfee Anti-virus? I bet, most of us.
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][UNITY] UnityFund - Progressive Yield Generation For Decentralized Altruism on: June 24, 2021, 11:33:18 PM
You have a lot of things to accomplish this month, like deploying your contract in BSC network, smart contract audit, listing in cmc/coingecko and first charity donation to binance.charity. Do you think you can complete all those in the remaining days of this month? Are you going to publish the transaction made once you sent funds to binance.charity?
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: another bullrun before 2021 ends on: June 24, 2021, 10:51:35 PM
to have a  bullrun it is necessary to have some conditions such as:

1 - bitcoin halving

2 - or some good news like the ones from paypal or tesla in the past

without these two things I don't see the bullrun

But we are just halfway of this year, don't lose hope that we will be hearing another good news in the next coming months. Crypto market can surprise us on what it is capable of. Remember, one positive tweet from Elon and we may see a very good jump. But of course, we don't need to rely from him. But I am very positive that more good news is coming, like more countries openly accepting bitcoin and merchants/big companies accepting btc or other crypto in their payment system. We are not at the end of the road, so there are still a lot of possibilities that will possibly happen to crypto.
984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New crypto that rose 168,000% while BTC and other coins where bleeding. on: June 24, 2021, 09:42:28 PM
When there is no volume, this increase can be seen even in small purchases of the team. It smells like blatant scam to me. I have passed them all, it is quite risky to buy after such a rise. After the team sees these rises, the tokens in their hands will start to sell. In short, they will start doing rugpull. I definitely do not recommend investment.

We have seen a lot of this kind already. So such increase doesn't matter because it is only short-lived. As you said, small purchase from the team may reflect a thousand fold increase because they have very low volume. Stay away from this type of coin, because more than likely, you will be trapped up until you can't sell the coins because it is not worth anymore. Maybe, only newbies will be attracted by this move, but for a lot of us, we are tired of seeing similar pump and dump actions from their team.
985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: did I make mistake? on: June 23, 2021, 11:23:48 PM
if only you can come back to this post to check the current price. i always tell people that no matter what happen in this crypto stuffs. as long as you did not sell your token. you are in for the long term. hold your token and hold hard. do not sell. then you will reap the reward in the future to come. it is a matter time and your patience. do not panick sell.
depending on what you hold, if you hold Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Monero, yes you have benefited from years of holding,
but what if you hold XRP? and some other coins, you still haven't made a profit, panic selling is also important in a strategy,
you can sell it when everyone panics, and buy again when the price hits the support price

You can include doge as well aside from XRP. These coins are quite risky to hold because one bad or good news, their journey is changed like 180 degrees. So you need to be careful in holding a very risky alt, especially those which are driven by hype and fud. If you want long term, look for alts with strong presence in the market with active use case. Their survival depends on their community supporting it. If they have use case that users can actually use, they have the chance to survive, otherwise, they can easily be dumped by their devs.
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: A second look on the new Antimony Coin (ATMN) with its own BlockChain on: June 23, 2021, 10:30:28 PM
Nice to see Antimony Coin listed on CMC :  https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/antimony-coin/

No details yet from CMC, even market charts. So are you going to submit request to CMC to update your info and other details?

In coingecko - https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/antimony#markets, you have more info like the markets and charts. But looking at the trading volume, I guess, it should be improve in the coming days.
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's now the good time to buy some $MEME when SHIBA lsited on coinlist? on: June 22, 2021, 10:53:03 PM
No matter what exchanges that list memecoins. i have decided that I will not and never invest in anything meme coin. from doge to shiba. they are highly volatile and not good for holding. they are not good for investment and I have never seen meme coin as long term product. assuming they can be linked to social platforms, then will I consider investing.
even an exchanges only take advantages from fee that collected from trading volume. they realize it could give them alot income for operational cost. SHIBA truelly as speculative asset just like dogecoin, their investors or traders only hope someday someone like elon shiling this coins and they could earn huge profits . and now due some reason, SHIBA dumped hardly and alot people got rekted. project with no utility or usecase in their ecosystem were not worthed to invest.

And if someone has visited the SHIB ANN thread here [ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5265926 ], you will understand that the foundation of this memecoin is just like an empty one. After the hype, don't expect that you will get good profits out of it. Known exchanges are just listing this just to get their share in the market. If there is no solid foundation, high likely that this will go down hard. So not a very good idea to invest in a vulnerable memecoin like this.
988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CDU] Cducoin - A Cryptocurrency For The Next Generation Game on: June 22, 2021, 09:52:37 PM
Can you make all the important links clickable so it is not a hassle for the users to go to your related sites? Also, when are you going to fill the content on your website? And what game are you going to deploy on your platform? Gaming industry is very good to explore with but depends on what game are you going to develop here.
989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: your favorite Exchange (without KYC/Verification) on: June 21, 2021, 11:59:37 PM
I'm comfortable with Binance as they allow trading even without verification, that's just fit to my limit as I never transacted a whole BTC as a trader.
Everybody is now going with Binance. Even you can easily upgrade your account and be approved with the KYC, you have the choice not to and yet you can still continue using them.

Also, hitbtc is a good option though I'm reading a lot of negative feedback against them but I have never faced a problem from this site, maybe because my transaction is just small, I don't know.
There were a lot of problems with that exchange and their reputation through the forum was already bad.

I believe a lot more traders are confident using binance because of their SAFU [ https://academy.binance.com/en/glossary/secure-asset-fund-for-users ], insurance in which you will be at peace that your funds are safe within their platform. Never had any problem also using binance and haven't submitted KYC either as I don't surpass their daily limit of withdrawal. The liquidity of this exchange is really great so you can trade easily, unless, you are looking for alts that are not yet listed on their exchange.

990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [NFT] [IDO] Black Eye Galaxy - $BYG on: June 21, 2021, 11:24:15 PM
This is good for those gamers because while enjoying the game, they have the opportunity to earn tokens which can be exchange to actual cash. That is, if BYG will be listed in exchanges. Right now, let us wait how far they can develop this gaming platform. Because not many projects are successful in implementing their games to the community.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIVX] - PRIVATE INSTANT VERIFIED TRANSACTION - PROOF OF STAKE - ZEROCOIN on: June 21, 2021, 09:05:06 PM
$PIVX set to release a new v5.2 mandatory core wallet update this week!

Cold Staking feature will be re-activated once the network enforcement occurs.

So be ready to update your #PIVX desktop wallets and nodes soon!
-

Hope to see the value of PIVX go higher. Staking some coins here. Tongue So what are the plans for the remaining months of the year? Any major activity or news coming up for PIVX? From your 2021 roadmap, all items are already completed which is very nice. But can you publish those merchants that are now accepting PIVX in their payment system, if there's any?
992  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTC Volatility More of an Advantage than Disadvantage? on: June 21, 2021, 07:52:08 PM
My question, is the price volatility of BTC more of an advantage than disadvantage to traders?

Imagine the price bring flat, 1 btc =32000 for now on for 6 months!
What are you going to trade? It will be like trading saudi riyals to USD, (the riyal is pegged at a fix value to the USD), how and why would you do this since there is no way to gain anything? Great volatile means both better gains and bigger losses,if you don't know what you're doing stick to forex markets where 5% a day comes once a year.

The way you're describing trading as gaining only when the market and is green and losing when it's red makes me think you would be better with just holding, an experienced and also lucy trader should be able to make profits no matter how the market is going.

Yes, if you are a trader, even if the market is in red position, you can find a way how to gain profit. Even if you are not an expert trader, just a regular trader, you will find ways on how to take advantage of the market. A good trader will see green and red markets as both opportunities to earn. But how? It is up to the trader, how he will put those skills into action. If you know how to take advantage of this volatility feature, you can face all types of market. You don't need to wait for the market to be in bullish run.
993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RADIOCOIN *NEWCOIN* scrypt on: June 20, 2021, 11:47:56 PM
Is there future on this project? The ANN is not yet improved. What is actually the goal of the OP here? With thousands of alts out there, what will be the contribution of this coin to the community? Because if he has not strong motive to develop this coin, I don't think he lets other people to waste their resources on this coin. Just be transparent on his ambitions for this project.
994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we get another golden oppurtunity to buy? on: June 20, 2021, 10:34:36 PM
Every dip in Bitcoin is an opportunity to buy. Tbvh, nobody truly knows where the market is going to head to next. So in order not to be left out incase the market recovers, I would really like to make suggestions about buying Bitcoin now and keeping it for the long run. And if the market keeps going down, the updated plan would be to keep buying and averaging down till price hits a strong support that holds the selling pressure at bay while prepping up the reversal from that zone.

This is a more suitable plan compared to the endless waiting of trying to decipher where the next market direction would be. It's a waste of valuable time.

Yes, that's true. Because if people keep on waiting this 'golden' opportunity to buy, it may pass without him knowing. So why not buy every dip, what you can afford to lose because no one can truly give you what will happen next? It is your own strategy how you can get profits in this market. And definitely, no one can tell you that 'golden' timing because no one really knows the future of this market.
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 [ANN] Questos - A Carbon Negative Blockchain on: June 19, 2021, 11:55:46 PM
No team information will be displayed at this thread or site? looks very reluctant to show it, while others are displayed in full.
I see "These coins will be used for charitable donations". In which region or country it would be implemented? ave found many like this, all disappeared.

Sometimes you will know if the team is indeed sincere with their goals if they are also willing to disclose their team members. Til then, we don't know if their objectives here are authentic. Some are just using the green energy to attract potential investors but in reality, they have nothing to do with such technology. If they are serious about being carbon-free initiatives, they will be proud of showing their faces here.
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: IOI Game - A new era of trading gamified by race | Trade Race Manager on: June 19, 2021, 11:42:26 PM
The Trade Race Manager team has prepared some nice promotions, competition and campaigns.
this campaign is exclusively for the Bitcointalk community, so stay tuned here.
it won't be long (:

Join us https://t.me/IOIGAME

Seems that IOI team is hitting it hard. Won't be surprised if their value in the exchange will increase again. Strike while the iron is hot! If they can get the interest of many gamers as much as they can, this can easily get a niche in the gaming industry. I believe 4-5 USDT/IOI would be an easy feat in the next coming days.
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Wish Coin | BSC | The Original Decentralized Multilevel Marketing Token on: June 19, 2021, 11:21:58 PM
Which makes me wonder, why is it only now being displayed, even though the WISH token has been around for a month on Pancakeswap.
The information about the team that's displayed is just a name, right? It looks like really have no intention of displaying the original photos and social media accounts, that's fine to me, after all "fast pump and dump" project like this doesn't require a clear team.

This is where users need to be smart on where to invest their hard-earned money. They need to at least check the project's capability in terms of what they want for the project. Are they here for long-term or just to ride the hype in the BSC network? Because not all projects in BSC are worth to buy, most of them are just crap like eth tokens that ended up as abandoned and worthless. For sure, there will be crap tokens under BSC as well.
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: June 19, 2021, 10:56:58 PM
For me, the use of the name Elon in a new project is no longer interesting, what's interesting is that the creator of this thread is a legendary person.

I don't know, but I feel that lightlord is not really serious about this. He's just testing the people here how they will react. Though there is elonwallet to download, but I have the feeling that sooner or later, lightlord will declare that this is just a joke. Let us see...

If lightlord will create a project, I don't think this will be the project that he will seriously launch.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: June 19, 2021, 10:30:58 PM
I'm always trusting ETh. The reason is BNB just a new coin that related to Binance exchange. Last few months i saw the BNB price around 600$ suddenly. The Reason that i highlighted the project management of the exchange. They are doing it nicely by bonding BNB. But for the With there is no unique exchange and it boned with block chain.

This is where ETH is different from BNB. ETH is not owned by a centralized exchange, whereas, BNB, it is owned by top centralized exchange. What will happen to BNB if something goes wrong with Binance? Though the likelihood of falling down is very minimal, still the chance is still there. But if you are holding your BNB on their platform, it is pretty secure as they have insurance. Both are good alts to invest with. But up to you how you will allot your funds to them. Honestly, I will put my money on both. Both are promising projects to invest with.
1000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and CO2 emissions (Should we care?) on: June 19, 2021, 09:45:05 PM
The use of electricity or energy for Bitcoin mining by miners does require high power. Maybe for a country where many miners are, this is one of the problems because of the limited electrical energy and its influence on the environment.
However, again, this is one. There are still many more things that need energy than Mining Bitcoin. There are still many many more that make pollution and environmental damage on this earth. Are they as bad as it will be slicing or fighting it?
NO.
Why? Because this is just a mere interest. Many people don't like Bitcoin. And this is used by them to drop Bitcoin.

Some people are just highlighting the use of energy of bitcoin mining. Whereas, there are a lot more of these human activities and industries that are just wasting energy. People should educate themselves and know these differences. At least with bitcoin mining, even if we say it is energy intensive, it is helping the community in some way, like in payment system or investment aspects. And for those who don't want bitcoin or crypto, they are finding ways how to make the energy consumption a big deal so people will not support it.
