Congratulations @suchmoon for reaching 8888 merits. It's a great achievement and I was lucky to capture this record of yours. Hope you'll accomplish more such records in future!

Especially after crypto became a thing, cracking for free died mostly. I automatically distrust any cracking software that came after ~2010.
No bro, cracking isn't dead yet, many people still love to crack the software to show how skillful they're as reverse engineers. But, surely trusting those cracks isn't a good choice either as many of those can come with obfuscated code which might have malware in it. I'm not an advocate of using crack software but still if someone wants to use those for educational purpose then he/she should do that at his/her own risk.

If you really have to use Adobe or something similar for some reason, you must own a business which generates money.

Then either pay, or find a free alternative...
I'm basically a gimp user and I almost stopped using Adobe photoshop in 2014 but Gimp is still way behind  Photoshop however with each new version we are getting some improvements. For video editing I use Kdenlive it's a good and open-source video editor and it does the job very well. But, it's not as good as Adobe After Effects or any other industry top level video editors. However, we should forget about those features and enjoy what we are getting for free.

When you use a linux distribution, you don’t look for a crack to pirate software. You look for freeware instead and there are plenty.

When you search video editing software on google, it will return only paid software or crippled fake freeware. That’s how they get to you.
Yes, Linux is far better than Windows and surely there will come a time when all software developers and brands will make Linux versions of their software. Companies like Adobe, Autodesk and others can easily shift their software on Linux but they intentionally won't do that because they won't get many users on Linux platform.

Even though they don't officially release their software for Linux but I'm quite sure that most of their servers and webservers are still hosted on Linux based operating systems. I think for video editors Windows is still a better option than Linux but for the ones who are concerned about security, Linux is the only safe operating system that they can choose.
984  Economy / Reputation / Re: What is going on??? on: January 26, 2024, 04:54:47 PM
Really? Like what? I'm thinking of games, but that won't work well in a VM anyway.
I agree with you, the games won't work properly on virtual machines because they don't have dedicated GPUs. However if someone is a casual gamer then there's no problem in running those games. If someone is a gamer then that person won't get any benefits from a virtual machine.

I think you can play some good games on Linux these days with Steam. I personally don't play games these days on my PC but surely if someone play games then they could either build a separate PC dedicated for gaming or might play the games that are available for Linux users.
985  Economy / Services / Re: [Pre ANN] Autonomous and Reliable Trading Bots on: January 26, 2024, 04:41:38 PM
Your words are very convincing but still it's hard to believe that a bot like that exist. Can you kindly share some sample trades that the bot has executed with profit. I would also like to know that how this bot was trained and how it will work for the end user?

I'm not a fan of bots because a single huge crash that takes place in crypto market can totally destroy a bot. I'm sure you have heard about Terra Luna crash. In that crash the Luna lost 100% of it's value, the coin used to be $100+ in value and now it's worth less than $0002 in value.

If your bot is trained well but tends to make trades on such altcoins then there is huge chance of failure for a bot like that. If the bot is mainly trained to work on Bitcoin or a well known altcoin then it may work in some scenarios. If you're confident about your bot then kindly share with us some sample trades of the bot.
986  Other / Meta / Re: Use of AI on Bitcoin talk on: January 26, 2024, 02:50:24 PM
Good, but these posts are deleted as spam, not as plagiarism. I agree that there are countless of AI meaningless posts, and should be deleted, but not because they were generated by an AI; simply because they lack essence and / or fill the board with shitposts.
Yes, currently most of the posts that are generated via AI text generators are considered as spam. Those posts can't be considered as plagiarized content because even the main authors who wrote such texts can't really take and strict actions against the users who use AI text generators to create posts.

But, most of those posts are inaccurate and the information that's generated by the AI tools is totally useless and incorrect. The pattern of the posts that are generated by ChatGPT are similar in nature and this they can be easily detected by someone who understands how ChatGPT generated posts look like.

Although, I won't consider AI generated posts as plagiarism but I truly appreciate the efforts of Nutildah for creating that thread where all posts that are generated with AI can be reported. But, if someone uses AI to fix their posts grammar then the fixed posts can also false being detected by those AI text detectors as AI generated text.
987  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion payment for those new member on evil IP. on: January 26, 2024, 02:32:54 PM
Like everyone else has said that there's some possibility of accepting or adding lightning network for evil IP fees but allowing payments in altcoins is not going to happen. You have got a great offer from HugeBlack, you just need to be active on the forum and make some good quality and useful posts. He'll whitelist your IP address and then you don't need to pay any Evil IP fees.
988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US gov’s planned $118M Bitcoin sale is ‘peanuts’ compared to GBTC on: January 26, 2024, 01:24:37 PM
It's $118M worth of Bitcoin and surely it will impact the market to some extent and Bitcoin's price may drops during the sale. It's impact will not be significant as compare to the Gray Scale but it will surely cause some fear in the minds of the investors.

I think US government is taking some smart decisions to sell off their Bitcoin holdings and they may continue selling their Bitcoin holdings in small quantities during this bull run. I hope that the decisions that they take may not impact Bitcoin and its value in a inverse way.

Although, they can sell off the seized coins within days but they don't really want to dump the market as that won't be a good decision by them. If the market gets a huge dump then they will sell their Bitcoin at loss and that's why they won't do that.
989  Economy / Reputation / Re: What is going on??? on: January 26, 2024, 07:39:36 AM
It is still possible for malware to infect your host system, if you transfer infected files directly between the guest and host operating systems or use shared folders.
Most of the malware is made to attack Windows operating system users and even if you transfer files between the host and guest you may still be safe to some extent. Windows malware can't do any harm to Linux as they have different kernels.

However, if the malware developer intentionally made the malware in a way that it can penetrate Linux operating system as well then it might work if the Host allows file transfer from guest to host and host to guest.

In most scenarios, one can be safe with a virtual machine than by duel booting Windows and Linux. In the later case the malware developer has complete control over the file-system and he can do anything he likes with the files that are present in the compromised system.
990  Other / Meta / Re: Other Forum members are more civil than Legendary members, Why? on: January 25, 2024, 10:53:10 PM
Do we agree that it is a feeling of pride that they have superior knowledge on issues than others because of their ranking?
I would suggest you to read posts of many Legendary members before making a conclusion. The Legendary members or even high ranked legendary members are very good in nature but surely it's a free forum and anyone can speak what they want to speak.

Most of the forum members try to avoid conflicts and don't really argue with those whose opinions they don't like and trust me most of such users are Legendary members. If a newbie goes to lending board and ask for a loan without providing any collateral then should Legendary members should not reply to such users?

If someone who isn't aware of things in proper way and comes to share the knowledge with others even if he/she doesn't know the things properly then you think that person will get a positive response? I would say no, so that's why you should read more members of the forum before making your mindset.

If you really think that the Legendary members are egoistic or rude due to their ranks then kindly share some details about the members that you think are more egoistic due to their knowledge. If you're someone alt account then you should gather some courage and post from your real account.
991  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: January 25, 2024, 10:42:05 PM
1xbit fans and their derivatives 1xbet are still many, they even rent some famous influencers from artists and also influencers to become their ambasador brands, so the attraction of this site is still strong, every customer must to see in advance the review of a gambling site before do the deposit and play on this site, those who are not careful first will surely regret later.
Yes, it's true they are still spending a lot of money in marketing of their services and mostly they pay social media influencers and YouTubers to promote their brand in their videos. Not only YouTuber but TikTokers are also promoting their sites in order to earn the money from brand advertisements.

They have just sold their souls for the money that they get form such platforms. I know everyone wants to earn money but that's the worst way to earn money. If someone promotes them even after knowing their shady activities then that person is truly up for earning money in any wrong way possible.
992  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: January 25, 2024, 10:36:52 PM
This is a good thing because after all, looking at the current situation, especially for gambling problems, it is better to do it yourself than to rely on others.
Not only in gambling but in every serious part of our lives we should learn about doing the things ourselves instead of relying on others. In gambling I also believe that one should do everything by his/her own instead of relying over others.

Most of the times when we rely on others then we somehow get controlled by their words and whatever they tell us we do it with closed eyes. Most people promote fake information and fake strategies and if we follow those then we will end up losing every time.

I would say, it's 10x better to learn the things yourself and slowly understand that how you can develop some responsibility during gambling. It takes some time but it's very possible, but only if you do it yourself not by following what others say. I should add that we should only rely on our own experience as that's the best choice for success in gambling or in any part of our lives.
993  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaMask Crypto Casinos on: January 25, 2024, 10:30:57 PM
Do you prefer casinos where you can connect your MetaMask wallet for quick sign-in and deposit/withdrawal, or is that not very important to you?
No, I don't prefer those casinos and I haven't used those casinos. I don't know that the casinos that I use have that feature or not but I don't really care much about that feature. I don't really deposit money in my MetaMask wallet and that's another reason for me to not like or use such casinos. However, if they allow normal crypto deposits then I surely love to use them.

I know that some people prefer MetaMask due to its ease of use but I'm not among those people. I try my best to avoid using it as much as possible. I won't say that MetaMask isn't a useful wallet or anything else but I personally don't give much preference to it. I rarely use MetaMask or Trust wallet, and that's why even if a casino has that feature I would avoid it instead of availing it.
994  Economy / Reputation / Re: The SportsBet.io Gang on: January 25, 2024, 10:25:35 PM
The posts where you received merits are high-quality topics that deserve those merits for the information. The merits given by him on SB thread are random and no post is worthy of one.

I am not discrediting the good work he does but highlighting the shady practices outside.
I'm not really sure that I have posted on that thread or not but I have also received some merits from LFC_Bitcoin several times on WO thread and on few other threads. If a member is spending his merits on a thread which he likes a lot or somehow is present on that thread then what's wrong with that?

As far as I know, LFC_Bitcoin is one of the most reputed members of this forum and he's also quite knowledgeable at the same time. I don't really know much about the other members and I haven't had any conversations with them but I can say that LFC is a reputable members and you should do your research once again before accusing him.
995  Economy / Reputation / Re: What is going on??? on: January 25, 2024, 09:51:53 PM
With this setup, malware installed on Windows can still access your Linux partition. I have no idea how likely this is (but I wouldn't want Windows to ever touch my partitions).
Then it's better to have Linux as main operating system and install Windows as a guest machine on that system using a software like Virtual box. We really need some features of the Windows and some of the applications are mainly created for Windows OS and that's why we need to have Windows operating system installed on a virtual machine to perform those task.

I think that way we and our files are safe even if Windows operating system gets infected with malware. I'm very sure that it would be a tough task for malware developers to access the files of the host system when their malware is installed in the guest system.
996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The topic of Bitcoin's Achievement is charming on: January 24, 2024, 10:37:31 AM
Well, I know that it's a quite happy moment for the ones who learnt about Bitcoin in its early days and kept holding their Bitcoin from those years but in current times we would also need to think about those people who are trying their best to accumulate some Bitcoin.

I'm happy to see that you have shared your story with us and I hope it will be helpful to inspire all those people who are accumulating Bitcoin on weekly or monthly basis by following some kind of a DCA strategy.

You're among the lucky ones and there are many such people who have got Bitcoin when it was cheaper and now holding it in hopes that it will reach $1M per coin. I hope that Bitcoin will surely amaze us when we see its price at $1M, and by then many holders will have financial freedom.
997  Economy / Services / Re: I do have winning casino crypto formula with 200% profit per month, any interest? on: January 24, 2024, 10:28:59 AM
useless eaters, deny ignorance !
dream big if you want to evolve !
You have changed your tone by saying those words. Just be honest and try to do things in the right way rather than doing something that could create problems for others. You sound more like a scammer than someone who's trying to help others. In fact you can see your trust ratings where reputed members of the forum left their feedback and considered you as a scammer.

It's better to lock this thread and stop promoting the wrong things. If you really want to earn money then try to be more productive and learn a good skill, that will be much helpful for you. You can improve your skills on daily basis and you'll understand that with proper skills and a good mindset you can earn money rather than stealing it from others.
998  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Electrum Wallet on: January 24, 2024, 10:22:56 AM
First of all like others said you need to synchronize the Electrum to the blockchain then you may check the addresses one by one to see which one of those addresses contain Bitcoin. I also believe that you may need to look at the transaction history to see that which wallet addresses have received the transactions.

I would recommend you to reinstall your operating system once again and install a new copy of Electrum. Make sure to download it from it's original website. Once Electrum is installed try to synchronize it to the blockchain and then enter your seed phrase and see what happens. If you have created the wallet and received funds in it then you should better know how to use Electrum.

You should make sure that the seed phrase that you're using is the one that contains wallet addresses that have Bitcoin otherwise you won't see any Bitcoin. As long as I know, you shouldn't have any problem if you have access to the seed phrase and password phrase.

If you can see the addresses then you can check which one has Bitcoin if none of those have any Bitcoin then you should try to check the transaction history to confirm that you have received any Bitcoin in those addresses or not. If you haven't received any Bitcoin in those addresses then most probably you have used a wrong seed phrase.
999  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This could protect a lot of crypto begginers on: January 24, 2024, 07:33:14 AM
Yes, I have also noticed some of those shady things that are happening on Twitter now x, and unfortunately many newbies become victim of such scams. They are mostly like Phishing pages but instead of pages they're running fake twitter phishing accounts. It's an unfortunate reality that most crypto users search for new projects via Twitter and that's the biggest mistake they are doing.

The knowledge and awareness are very important for such people because without that they'll always get scammed by those scammers. The users with less technical knowledge often become victims of such traps and we should try our best to educate them about such scams so they won't fall victim of such scams in future. Twitter doesn't really care about those accounts and that's why the scammers find it as their scamming haven.
1000  Economy / Services / Re: [Pre ANN] Autonomous and Reliable Trading Bots on: January 23, 2024, 11:47:17 PM
In short it's a trading bot. Why it is different than others who are already in the market. I am not a regular trader but I read there are already bots out there and at some point users lose their confidence. How will you solve this problem?
The type of bot that the OP is trying to promote is a AI based bot if I'm not wrong. But, I don't think that it's possible to earn any profits with such bots if someone doesn't have good trading plans or strategies.

Even if the bot was trained on the data of past 2 years it's still not possible to earn that much profit with that bot in long run. The OP is claiming that the bot can earn around 60% annual profits which is a claim that most people make when they try to promote their bots.
