981  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Electrum Wallet on: January 24, 2024, 10:22:56 AM
First of all like others said you need to synchronize the Electrum to the blockchain then you may check the addresses one by one to see which one of those addresses contain Bitcoin. I also believe that you may need to look at the transaction history to see that which wallet addresses have received the transactions.

I would recommend you to reinstall your operating system once again and install a new copy of Electrum. Make sure to download it from it's original website. Once Electrum is installed try to synchronize it to the blockchain and then enter your seed phrase and see what happens. If you have created the wallet and received funds in it then you should better know how to use Electrum.

You should make sure that the seed phrase that you're using is the one that contains wallet addresses that have Bitcoin otherwise you won't see any Bitcoin. As long as I know, you shouldn't have any problem if you have access to the seed phrase and password phrase.

If you can see the addresses then you can check which one has Bitcoin if none of those have any Bitcoin then you should try to check the transaction history to confirm that you have received any Bitcoin in those addresses or not. If you haven't received any Bitcoin in those addresses then most probably you have used a wrong seed phrase.
982  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This could protect a lot of crypto begginers on: January 24, 2024, 07:33:14 AM
Yes, I have also noticed some of those shady things that are happening on Twitter now x, and unfortunately many newbies become victim of such scams. They are mostly like Phishing pages but instead of pages they're running fake twitter phishing accounts. It's an unfortunate reality that most crypto users search for new projects via Twitter and that's the biggest mistake they are doing.

The knowledge and awareness are very important for such people because without that they'll always get scammed by those scammers. The users with less technical knowledge often become victims of such traps and we should try our best to educate them about such scams so they won't fall victim of such scams in future. Twitter doesn't really care about those accounts and that's why the scammers find it as their scamming haven.
983  Economy / Services / Re: [Pre ANN] Autonomous and Reliable Trading Bots on: January 23, 2024, 11:47:17 PM
In short it's a trading bot. Why it is different than others who are already in the market. I am not a regular trader but I read there are already bots out there and at some point users lose their confidence. How will you solve this problem?
The type of bot that the OP is trying to promote is a AI based bot if I'm not wrong. But, I don't think that it's possible to earn any profits with such bots if someone doesn't have good trading plans or strategies.

Even if the bot was trained on the data of past 2 years it's still not possible to earn that much profit with that bot in long run. The OP is claiming that the bot can earn around 60% annual profits which is a claim that most people make when they try to promote their bots.
984  Other / Meta / Re: cls63 Merit Source Application on: January 23, 2024, 11:42:28 PM
Your merit source application looks good to me and by the way I believe each local board needs a few merit sources in order to fill out the merit deficiencies. I don't really understand Turkish language and can't say much about the posts that you have quoted in this thread. But, best of luck from my side, I hope Theymos will consider your application and also the applications of all others who have applied to be merit sources.
985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the rush to gain profit in crypto? on: January 23, 2024, 11:25:30 PM
Of course, seeing crypto is full of fraud and scams, it’s always crucial to gain the right information before entering the crypto space. With that, DYOR is the key.
That's true and I believe the best and most useful resource for any crypto investor is this forum. Here people get real knowledge and education related to crypto-currencies which they can't get anywhere else. Especially, when someone is going to invest in Bitcoin then this is the only place where they can get accurate and valuable information from the reputed members of the crypto community.

I think it's way better to read some Bitcoin related or crypto related books or e-books rather than watching the videos of the social media influencers. Most of the videos that they make are actually paid ones, scam projects give those social media influencers a lot of money to promote their project. The influencers know all such fake and scam projects but still they promote those because their main aim is to earn money. It's better to avoid those fake people can read some books to learn about crypto-currencies.
986  Economy / Services / Re: I do have winning casino crypto formula with 200% profit per month, any interest? on: January 23, 2024, 02:40:17 PM
I willing to let super mods/admins to check/review/test/verify my 100% winning casino crypto formula !
Or if any old reputation user here want to obtain a copy at super cheap discount price, then I also welcome !
You're a newbie member of this forum and your don't really know much about the admins or moderators of the forum. They don't really need to test something which isn't ethical and you won't be approached by them trust me. They have other tasks to perform rather than looking for a formula that will earn them 200% profit per month. I have seen someone who was talking about sports bet arbitrage a few days ago and to me your formula sounds similar.
987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: AMA: I Operate an Online Casino on: January 23, 2024, 01:12:53 PM
Thanks for answering my previous questions, I truly appreciate those useful answers. I have a few more questions that I want to ask you.

1. How can someone possibly join a casino as a team member and get paid for it?
2. How casinos know if someone is from US and is using a VPN? There are many VPN providers that work in sheath mode where no information about their data centers or other details is available. You can't track those VPN's or proxies on any of the tracking sites then how will the casino be able to know that the user is from USA or from the country whose IP he's using?
3. Let's say if someone has good a good domain name that can be very useful for a casino and their business. Then how should that person initiate a deal with a casino to sell that domain name?
4. I would also like to know that how much does casinos pay the team members on weekly or monthly basis?
988  Economy / Services / Re: I do have winning casino crypto formula with 200% profit per month, any interest? on: January 23, 2024, 12:30:38 PM
making money is not my priority.
save and help few smart people can save the world from destruction.
Really if making money isn't your main priority then why you're selling the formula? If whatever you said is true then you should give this formula for free to those smart people who might get fool after installing your formula or script whatever you name it.

Don't be a liar, say it directly that this formula was created to scam money out of the pockets of the people whom you're calling smart. Just tell the trust never lie to convince others that you're not here for the sake of money. Your're trying to be so smart but you aren't my friend.
989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: AMA: I Operate an Online Casino on: January 22, 2024, 05:44:07 PM
This if probably one of the most useful and helpful thread on the gambling board. I highly appreciate OP's efforts to create this thread and answer all the questions with professional answers. I'm impressed that how useful information we are getting by reading this thread. Each reply from OP is helping us to understand the details of the online casinos and how they operate.

Here are my questions:

1. Why most of the casinos that run poker games have most countries in the ban list?
2. How those casinos host their site which type of web hosting services they prefer to use?
3. Can you also tell me that how powerful VPS machines those casinos need when they have more than 1000's of concurrent players?
4. Is the KYC data of the customers safe on the online casinos? I mean won't they share it with third parties for profit?
5. How do casinos find scammers and hackers who wins by finding bugs in the games or casino's web applications?
990  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lost My Telegram on: January 22, 2024, 05:27:12 PM
I think you have done a good job by making this thread because it will be helpful for all those people who might get tricked by the one who has access to that Telegram username. By the way, I think Telegram isn't the way it used to be, your account can get limited even if someone makes fake report against you.

However, like others suggested if you want others to take your words seriously then kindly sign a message from the addresses that you have stacked. That would be much better for others to understand and they will surely avoid messages from that Telegram account.
991  Economy / Services / Re: History of Bitcoin - Looking for writers and OGs on: January 22, 2024, 05:10:16 PM
I'm a writer and I would love to be part of such project but can you tell me that what benefits will I have as a contribute of the project? It would be much better if you could say that how much money the contributors get to give their contribution in a project like that.

There are many such books already present which people can buy and why would someone devotes most of their time in writing of something which has been written already? But, if you want it to be somewhat different than what's already available then you should also have to pay the writers or OG who might contribute in that project.
992  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin holder’s are facing a lot from Nigeria Yahoo’s boy’s on: January 21, 2024, 06:17:52 PM
I think that police officer really wanted to tease you nothing else than that. By the way a smart person who's in crypto or Bitcoin trading or invest should never tell anyone about it. It's way better to avoid telling anyone even if that person is a police officer. OP, next time if you face a situation like that, you should handle it with care because telling everyone about your Bitcoin activities can be harmful for you.
993  Economy / Services / Re: I do have winning casino crypto formula with 200% profit per month, any interest? on: January 21, 2024, 01:23:43 PM
OP, I think you're claiming something really big which is almost impossible in real life. You think people believe you and blindly try your formula to lose money with it? If you really had a formula like that then you would earn from it yourself. Don't be so smart to sell  formulas that can ruin someone funds.
994  Economy / Reputation / Re: User snuffman8 spread false/fake information on technical board on: January 21, 2024, 01:18:44 PM
That guys post proves that AI doesn't really understand much about Electrum and Bitcoin and the ones who rely on it often get caught due to such misinformation. Although in some tasks AI text generators like ChatGpt can help the ones but in most cases the information they produce is totally useless and unreliable.

Those people really don't know that the text they are generating with those AI generators is mostly wrong and they're sharing that wrong information with others. The user who made those posts is a newbie and he/she might not be aware that the information which AI generates is wrong and not useful at all.
995  Economy / Reputation / Re: Farewell on: January 21, 2024, 01:09:18 PM
First, the only thing I'm sure of is that we're all going to die, and second, o_e_l_e_o being a health professional I'm sure he knows a lot more than you do about what's going to happen to him. From what he has explained I gather that he is suffering from cancer or a degenerative disease in an advanced stage already, and both he and I do not believe in miracles.

I also belong to health sector and I also think that o_e_l_e_o is facing a chronic disease like Cancer or something similar. He tried his best to fight the disease for many years but now it's out of control and has grown to higher stages. I'm not sure what's going to happen to him but still I hope that he may survive a few years to spend some good time with his family.

Although, I do believe in miracles but they don't necessarily take place all the time but I hope that something whether call it a miracle or anything else should take place that may help o_e_l_e_o to live longer that what other doctors have told him. Sometimes those things happen but with very few people.

My message for o_e_l_e_o is that whether you have 10 months or 10 years just live it happily my friend and avoid listening to all those people who just want to dishearten others. The OP of this thread doesn't really know what to speak on matters like this and I just request everyone to ignore such people.
996  Other / Meta / Re: Question about images. on: January 21, 2024, 07:52:30 AM
Anyone know what is wrong and how i can fix it?
No nothing is wrong at your hand it's a general errors that takes place because images from some image hosting sites aren't properly embedded on this forum anymore. Few months ago users were facing such error with Imgur images but now most of the image hosting sites give that error. Only images hosted on talkimg can be embedded without any issues while other images upload on any other host will give some kind of proxy error.

If you really want to view an image in a post but the image is still showing that proxy error then I suggest you to click on quote button of that post and copy the link of the image which you see during quoting and paste it on your browser. You'll be able to see the image directly on your browser.
997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to generate a Bitcoin Statement of Transaction on: January 21, 2024, 07:37:10 AM
I would say it's a nice guide that shows the process to generate Bitcoin Statement but I don't think it's much necessary for anyone to have such a statement. Some people might prefer to generate a statement but most don't really care much about such statements.

They directly visit block explorer of their choice and check their wallet address. However, I won't say that it's not useful, but it's just for a small group of people who want to have such statements or might print those.
998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Satoshi Nakamoto remove the 21 million BTC limit? on: January 21, 2024, 07:18:15 AM
The straightforward answer to this question is a big noooooooo! Satoshi Nakamoto can't remove the 21 million Bitcoin limit because he's no more the owner of Bitcoin, the community the current owner of Bitcoin.

Even if Satoshi wants to do something like this then he won't be able to do it. He can remove the limit if he can convince the community that it's for good of Bitcoin but I doubt even Satoshi Nakamoto will be able to convince the whole community for such action.

Jamie Dimon just want public attention and nothing else, that guy is more like a newbie who doesn't know much about the Bitcoin and its protocol. He has been skeptical about Bitcoin because he missed the chance to purchase Bitcoin when it was below $10 per coin and now he's just making such fake attempts to get some attention from the community. Nothing else than that.
999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Protect Your Crypto Seeds - Protect Yourself From $5 wrench attack on: January 21, 2024, 07:04:03 AM
The most effective and highly workable way is to use multiple wallets to store your Bitcoin. Multiple wallets with multiple seed phrases will always be helpful in such situations. Don't store all your Bitcoin in a single wallets as that can give clear clue to attackers that how much Bitcoin you have but if you set multiple wallets and store 0.05 Bitcoin or more in each wallet then you'll be safe in long term.

Even if you face those attackers then you can give them one of your wallets and save rest of your wallets from such attackers. In fact it's way better than using any kind of decoy wallets and it's also safe. That's why people prefer privacy and if you really want to be safe from such attacks then you should never share with anyone that how much Bitcoin you have. That way you'll be much safe than any other way.
1000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin surpasses silver to become second largest ETF commodity in the US on: January 20, 2024, 03:16:59 PM
It's just the start of the picture, Bitcoin ETFs can be so big in future and I'm also a firm believer that they can surpass Gold in future but not very soon. I'm sure that it will take those ETFs a lot of time to come close to Gold but nothing is impossible.

It will take those ETFs at least decades to surpass Gold ETFs but surely that time will come in future. However, in current days we should still be happy that Bitcoin is getting more attention due to those ETFs and it's getting free advertisements as well.
