wallet not syncing stuck on block 7612 help?
it takes time.. you can always close and restart the wallet if you feel it is stuck

works perfect. do i have to wait 8 hours before i start staking again? No. Coin-age is not impacted by running an updated wallet... Moving coins destroys coin age.

Why does this keep happening?
You need x11coin-qt.exe -addnode=162.243.109.24 -connect=162.243.109.24 in the walletqt.exe? under properties? create a shortcut of x11coin-qt.exe -> put shortcut on Desktop -> right click and select properties -> In the Target field add -addnode=162.243.109.24 -connect=162.243.109.24 after x11coin-qt.exe" when i do that it makes the file unexecutable download the new wallet, it has a batch file that you can just double click to run with the specified parameters

I can see on the block chain an issue with nodes on a lower height, I will be releasing an updated wallet with checkpoints to resolve this issue
but please use the follow when running - this force you to sync on the primary chain
x11coin-qt.exe -addnode=162.243.109.24 -connect=162.243.109.24
Yeah please do this. x11coin-qt.exe -listen -addnode=162.243.109.24 -connect=162.243.109.24 an updated wallet will be released tomorrow address this - in the mean time, please restart wallet with - x11coin-qt.exe -listen -addnode=162.243.109.24 -connect=162.243.109.24 thanks ATCSECURE

No, mixing is only part of it, XC now contains a completely new transaction protocol layer that is encrypted and will be leveraged as a platform for all sorts of concepts.... and it will leverage multi-path paradigm topology (which again is a custom This is the part that is confusing me personally wrt to what i looked at on github.. I assume that a transaction protocol layer would have to coded into the core coin code.. That is.. if i built XC src from github directly.. I wouldn't be able to take part in this transaction protocol layer, because there is no code for such a layer in the code on github. So is the only transaction protocol layer available in the windows binary.. and if so how could that work across all the people that built from src.. (which doesn't have the code). Yes your correct, it is only in the windows binary current available. Binaries will be available for multiple platforms

how long do I have to wait to just confirm a block?
Minimum 8 hours Max 30 days The more coins you have the better your chance of getting it quicker! Confirmation is separate from stake age - 6 confirmations on a TX... minted/mined blocks 200 confirmations

Is it worth it to install Windows wallet then transfer my 77,000 XC to it for POS?
I don't want to risk losing my coins if the wallet is not fully developed or able to be backed up.
All my XC is sitting on centralized exchanges right now, I don't want to get goxxed or poloxxed.
The windows wallet is developed, it is the anonymizer that is being developed further You won't loose your coins Is it ok to download the source from Git and compile the wallet for Linux? I did this with an earlier release and the wallet seemed to compile and run fine after I commented out the section in the pro file that says "uncomment this section to compile for windows" ( or something to that affect, can't remember the exact verbiage). It seems like it should be ok to run on Linux, but I just wanted to make sure. Actually some updates were made to github the other night that I need to revert, let me do that now

Everyone of my "Expected time to earn reward" has come and gone and I have not received anything yet. I see a lot of people asking about this. Is this the kind of "only the big guys get rewarded"?
Not once the max stage age has passed which is 30 days

Out of respect for the other dev's, I would ask everybody - lets keep this clean and professional....
XC has its own path...
What is your ETA on the delivery of a decentralized version of XC's anonymity, along with autonomous nodes using PKI? 3-4 Weeks

Why can't people just exit slowly instead of putting up silly 43+ walls and halting the momentum rise of XC.
+1 It gives nothing good for the coin's sound growth. I'm afraid xc might merely fall into a speculation coin. I may have to agree with this statement, until XC is put into practical use, say like coming over and grabbing a bag of jerky using XC @ http://bit.ly/XCJERKYPlans have already started to form for other pieces of this project.... Stores/Markets that accept XC, ATM/POS, and Mobility... slowly but sure the pieces will all come together.. it won't happen over night but it will happen

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/xc/#!rich Top 10 1,964,504 XC 35.65 % Top 100 4,270,236 XC 77.48 % Let's talk about how decentralized this coin is, only a handful own most of the coin. would like to hear thoughts from dev (atcsecure) Well I find it interesting the dev isn't in the TOP 5... I would say that some people have either spent a lot of money to acquire XC's either via mining or through the exchanges

Just wanted to provide an update, I expect another wallet release on Sunday night, with the updated GUI for the anonymizer technology - only 1 click. Also some other new's will be coming before then - that I'm sure everybody will appreciate...

For those that are using the -connect command that posted yesterday - please remove that and replace with -listen
We are past the fork, so that is no longer needed and MUST BE REMOVED
Use this to start client ---- example >>>>>> x11coin-qt.exe -listen -addnode=162.243.109.24
thank you

Have to make sure that "Mined but not Accepted" Transactions are discarded or at least do not clutter up the wallets We will be making a list of all the user requested changes/features/issues/bugs and feed them into the development cycle
