Though I am new to MTGO, I now understand the ticket system and the autotrade bots for cards and tickets.

You need to drop the price from retail costs to sell these here.

I can buy other players tickets for .95 cents each online.

I bought 50 tickets here at 10% below retail.

Discount them and they will most likely sell fast.

With bitcoins?

How do we know that this company isn't using fractional reserve?
They could publish or disclose audits. So far they didn't, just like nearly any other company out there dealing with Bitcoins/fiat. If you require more info, just contact them, don't ask on bitcointalk.

Actually, they will soon need to submit a "Annual Return" prepared by registered accountant to "Companies Registry of HKSAR" (Law required registered limited company to file a "Annual Return" within 42 days after the first anniversary of the date of its incorporation)

Personally, I trust Bitfinex for the way they response in this forum and the determination to provide a good Bitcoin trading platform with unique features.

However, I think Bitfinex should post any new announcements in the website also, not just posting on this forum. I guess not every customers are keeping watching this forum thread. By posting new announcements in the website, this gives confidence to potential customers. They will know Bitfinex is up and running normally, and it is not a scam. This helps the growth of the Bitfinex.

That kind of information should be more accessible is they want to attract more customers.

986  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Proof of Work vs Proof of Stake on: January 20, 2014, 08:42:04 PM

Is there any serious P2P lending website running?

992  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone lending USD on Bitfinex? on: January 20, 2014, 09:44:29 AM
I think https://www.bitfinex.com/pages/stats is public? Anyways, there are ~2.8k BTC lent out currently.

Thanks. So more than 18 million lent right now, plus whatever is in accounts that isn't lent... Considering that demand for USD doesn't increase, as more USD are lent, lenders get a lower interest (until a particular point, as demand increase when interest rates decrease) and at the same time, Bitfinex can steal a bigger bounty. Lower returns and higher risk.
993  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone lending USD on Bitfinex? on: January 19, 2014, 07:24:11 PM
I'm also worried about they running with the money. How likely is that? There's already 16 million lent (http://charts-bfxdata.rhcloud.com/) and I wonder how many BTC.

Interest rates are very attractive, but "risk of ruin" also seems high.

Is Bitfinex a registered company? Where can I find more information?
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : Play or Invest : 1% House Edge : Banter++ on: January 19, 2014, 10:41:02 AM
Attracting more investment doesn't achieve much of anything.  If I wanted a bigger maximum bet on the site I'm sure I could double the "risk factor" back to full-Kelly without many complaints.  And attracting more investment just means I'm responsible for an even larger pile of Bitcoins.  Since I don't intend to steal them, that's nothing but extra stress for me.

You are right if players don't usually play for the maximum profit. Now promotions should be focused on players, on encouraging them to play more.

Will there be a 3rd group buy? I see that ANTs are sold for only 2.2 each now.

¿Sería realista cambiar a PoS?
999  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: January 18, 2014, 11:11:32 AM
Is it possible to use "USD Swap total" (USD already lent) as collateral for borrowing BTC?

I'm 90% sure this doesn't work. I think I tried once, some time ago.

Ente

Good to know, that makes Bitfinex less fragile.
