I think the reply is easy to understand, "dev" says to just wait for exchange and buy the coins he will dump then you will have more POS than dev (while the dev surely disappear with your bitcoins) Reading between the lines. That's what it is. And how the dev reacted to some queries is a bit off for me. Even though they are just trolling his project, he should be more patient as they are potential customers. Who knows? If he proved that he's legit & sincere, they will be his loyal supporters in the end. Time will judge.... Any new nodes dev? My wallet isn't syncing anymore and i have 2 connections to tic network. |

I was thinking of a method of mining this coin that would be fair to everyone, and that doesn't centralize the mining where people work for <0,5$ /hr.
The new pools method will help but still I think that mining solving captchas is the root of the problem.
I would like to share this with you and ask your opinion:
-Mining is done only using an app for desktop (we could setup bounty or crowdfund for developing it)
-Only one address is allowed for claiming
-Claims can only be done once every 3hrs or so.
-The software has a database of proxies (or maybe database needs to be installed on raiblockscommunity.com) and blocks requests from them
-It also checks for requests coming from the same IP
-If a claim is made from a proxy IP or a duplicate IP, the request is rejected and needs to wait 3 hrs for another claim
-The mining app must be kept open to be entitled for rewards
-It sends at random times a captcha (maybe 6 or 7 times every 3 hrs) to check that the person is there and exists;
-Any other thing that can help make the distribution fairer and helps defeat cheating
Thats all for now.
+1 37000 claims after 12h is unreal. 12h = 43200 sec and you can make 1 claim every 2-3 sec if you play fair. |

So nice to see how work proceeds! I have the same problem someone has stressed, my wallet doesn't sync, I cancelled conf and peers as well, then i added nodes BelgianBoy has suggested, but nothing works! Let me know if someone is able to get over this problem!
Someone downgraded tot 8.5.4 to sync and after he Will do the new update. Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately even adding the nodes the wallet get stuck after 5 blocks, so weird, I'll keep trying! On the google doc spreadsheet I have a total stake of 18 and received 5.5 TIME tokens.
Is this correct? I was expecting to get the 18 tokens
Well... was 8008 total stakes from 500 participants, if you look in the spreadsheet. So is like ~0.25 TIME / stake. (2000/8008 = 0.2497 * 18 = 4.5 TIME) I think you got the newsletter bounty too  |
