981  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $10,000+ To Invest on: June 12, 2017, 10:26:10 PM
..  Now if ETH and litecoin ever goes up to like bitcoin, well that would be a lot of money.

this way of thinking is not new. it has existed for as long as altcoins have been around and each year there are many people (including me at some point) thinking if some altcoin goes up to bitcoin levels it is a lot of profit if i get in now.
but what happens each time is that we invest and then meet their doom eventually and we lose money each time.

Quote
Now if ETH does the same like bitcoin,

ETH is nothing like bitcoin. it is not even a currency. it is a platform for smart contracts that has a token which is being traded.
and it can never grow as big as bitcoin with all the bugs that it has. each month seems to be a new scam done with ethereum!

Quote
well say you buy 50 of them.  Well if it goes up to $1000, then it would be $50,000.  My thinking is well if the price is low, you cannot lose much because the most you can lose is what you put in.

you have two very big ifs which makes your way of thinking very dangerous:
1. if price goes up
2. price is low now

both are wrong. price is very high right now, and it actually is much higher than it should be meaning a big bubble.
and the first if has a low chance of happening although it is still possible to see more pumps.

Quote
Is there even a point of buying bitcoin since there are huge swings due to the price fluctuation.

yes because bitcoin has some real world applications and it is THE ONLY cryptocurrency that exists and everyone knows about. nobody even hears about altcoins!
and there are no big fluctuations. there was one 2 big rises this year which both of them followed by a perfectly anticipated correction and it is now back on track of rising.

Quote

you are making things way too complicated and long!
just diversify. invest in bitcoin as your primary investment and if you think ETH will go up then just invest in it. don't over think it. but do it only if you think it will go up not just some one else said so.
Litecoin and Eth can never be like bitcoin, because bitcoin is the original one, the mother of all altcoins, reason why altcoins in crypto world appeared and bitcoin is the highest price value in terms of digital currency.
982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: June 12, 2017, 06:22:22 AM
Are you currently putting all your money into bitcoin?  If you say this, you show you believe it by your actions.  I am putting all my money into bitcoin - I see a possibility of $50-$100+ per coin this year.  Just think, once the "bankers" and hedge funds find out about this, we are going to the moon.  Once my bitcoins are $1,000+ I will be able to pay off my growing college loans and maybe get an apartment, and my first car Smiley
Putting all money into bitcoin nowadays is not advisable at all, it will be risky even how higher you believed in bitcoin.
as long as its becoming the world currency its too dangerous to place all your funds into bitcoin.
983  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin credit card? on: June 12, 2017, 05:38:54 AM
I remember hearing something about a bitcoin credit card. Like, one that you pay for everything with fiat on credit, and then you pay off your bill in bitcoin. So you never have to hold fiat if you don't want to.

What's the best/most reliable credit card that does this?

What specific country do you live. Maybe you should try coins.ph because they offer a virtual card that almost same to credit card that allows you to pay your bills using your bitcoin, But this only applicable on asian countries. Wink
Virtual card will become a shadow of physical credit card if you are going to look at it physically. But they are both useful in online payment, like shopping online, travel online, billings payment, and I don't know if credit card is the as virtual card in coins.ph maybe in some other forms of aspects.
984  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Save the planet or not on: June 12, 2017, 05:27:31 AM
Very pessimistic this forum. More than 50% lost the hope to save our planet. That is really bad.
In my opinion the government should do much more to protect nature and our planet. It is the government that sets the ground rules for companies to work and people to live in. There is no excuse to keep burden the next generations.
Yes you are definitely right! if each government of the nations will do something about it, I could say it is not too late for us to save our planet earth even there is full of negative reaction or opinion by the others in accordance to the circumstances of the earth.
985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DCORP Crowdsale - Democratizing Venture Capitalism on: June 10, 2017, 11:00:35 PM
Sorry I don't believe in this project. Derivatives shouldn't be related to cryptocurrency in any way.
If derivatives are what interest you, it's profit you care about, profit by 'legitimate' theft.
We respect your perception and thinking about in Dcorp, but we had our own understanding about this kind of project who get in cryptoworld.
But in my own understanding in this thing Dcorp has a good insight for this project and to their community also.

987  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When will Religions die? on: June 06, 2017, 09:07:27 AM
Religions made a lot of damage to human beings and our world in general. I'm not talking only about Islam, but every kind of religion, more or less, caused lots of problems.

I'm sure they will end. They won't last forever. But how will they end?

Which could the scenario that leads to their disappearance?
They will only die if end of the world comes, that's what I thought about it.
But this is just only my way of thinking about in belief of others. or unless times come that there will be one religion in the end
will be declare.
988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where to buy ethereum? on: June 06, 2017, 07:03:07 AM
I checked online and coinbase offers this but seems to be only $300 limit.  I also heard many people don't want to deal with coinbase.  I also heard if you buy ethereum with bitcoin, its much easier and there is no document verification.  Is that true or false?  I went online and saw a site called shapeshift.co which seems to allow you to exchange btc for ethereum and vice versa and a bunch of other coins.  Does anyone have advice on this?  So you basically just trade btc for ethereum but if you do that, how much percentage are you paying?  Example if you are trading $2000 worth of bitcoin, how much approximately in ETH are you getting?  Is it like 1 or 2 percent?

I have US bank accounts for verification.

But if its easier to exchange for ETH, obviously i would prefer this instead.

What do you mean how to buy ethereum? are saying buying ethereum in exchange site platform?
Because in any exchange we are able and capable to buy ethereum,  only their differences was the percentage amount of ethereum.
989  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: June 06, 2017, 06:55:21 AM
Hey guys I'm not sure if this is the right place so please tell me if it is not. With that out of the way, I have a question for you all. I have recently been able to gather about .5 btc through minor trading and I was wondering if there was any method or way to grow this btc into a larger amount safely and fairly quickly. Thanks!
I think the better way for us to grow our coins is we need to roll it up in trading exchange site platform, or we can also try to play dice games if you are good in this games, and join or participate in the signature campaign.
990  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much BTC is required for trade? on: June 06, 2017, 06:45:11 AM
What is the minimum amount of BTC required to trade on Exchange sites?
Our goal is to earn dollars. At least how much BTC should start with trading on Exchange sites.

I think 0.002BTC is enough for you start trade in the exchange platform. Where you can do this at yobit.net, novaexchange, coinexchange.io, cryptopia, and bittrex
991  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: June 06, 2017, 06:32:40 AM

I want to generate a constant monthly gain. Is it possible to do this by bitcoin trading? So, can I just do this by dealing with BTC trading?
Are there any people among us who can make a living by trading in BTC?

Having a fixed income in trading is not an easy thing to do. And we all knew that it is very unpredictable which is trading.
There is always fluctuation happened whether an hour, a minutes, a weeks or etc. I think that would only be happen if you are a kind of professional traders.
992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: June 06, 2017, 05:57:59 AM
It is true that giving up gambling is not that easy to do in the actual. It may takes time or process before make it happens,
But for others opinions according to them, if you really wanted to change or to give up gambling addiction it will only happen if you decide it now to leave or stop it anymore.
993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: June 06, 2017, 04:59:04 AM
Yes, gambling is wrong. But even it is wrong and bad influence habit still many of the people do the same thing I did.
Because for me it is just give me fun and relaxation when I am not busy at the moment. But I admit It is still wrong, I wish I could change it soon.
994  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: June 06, 2017, 04:38:32 AM
As the title says, do you think that you're addicted to gambling? or you just don't realize that you're addicted Roll Eyes
If you ask me, i used to addicted to gambling but stopped after suffer big losses even though i'm still in profit.

Of course I'm not addicted in gambling, I just played and do gamble but it doesn't mean I'm addicted unto it.
But I often lose in the gambling sites every time I do gamble.
995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: June 06, 2017, 04:14:20 AM
I always feel satisfied when winning in gambling, by having that feeling I feel a bit of pride from myself. A little sad but I think almost all gamblers have the same feelings like me, then how about you? Do you want to share your story for us discussing in here.
Of course anyone who feel winning in the gambling games are always happy,  When I experience to win in the gambling sites I treated my relatives to buy family size pizza.
996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: June 06, 2017, 03:51:40 AM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
It will be an easy for the bitcoin enthusiast to to promote what bitcoin is if this things will be announce most often in the television.
Because advertisement or advertising was a big advantage for us to make it popular so easily.
997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: June 06, 2017, 03:43:45 AM
Today many people rely on bitcoin, in the sense that they are now focusing on the world of cryptocurrency, leaving their jobs

Is there something like this, is there any special tips because i want to focus but not yet dare?

If you have a job, it is much better to do bitcoin as a part time income never give up your job at once. Maybe you can do it later if your earnings in bitcoin is really stable already. But if not then you'll gonna give up up job, that's not a good idea I think.
998  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell? on: June 06, 2017, 03:30:28 AM
Bitcoin price is soaring. Its price trajectory is extremely steep. I fear that the Bitcoin price bubbles is reaching its point of yield. What is mean is, that such steep ascents in anything are rarely sustainable. I am going to sell my coins fairly soon. What do you all think?
Actually, bitcoin price for me was a good thing happens to me. it was helping me a lot in terms of trading.
In fact, there nothing to fear at all because bitcoin is continuously in progress. So as much as we can hold it, lets hold it in a long term.
999  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: June 05, 2017, 10:15:40 PM

1000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of the money on: June 05, 2017, 09:58:13 PM
Which game you played when you earned most of money?
Most of the money in gambling goes into losses of money every time the gambler do play in the gambling sites. Because as we all know in gambling there is upside down in winning.
