POLONIEX...
ok if site crashing isnt bad enough....
Please let users access their coins...some cant buy or sell and cant access their coins
please let customers withdraw their funds...some have waited weeks for verification so they can withdraw, but your not verifying them and holding their money...this is wrong and soon someone will end up taking to guys to court over all this.
You guys are giving all of crypto a bad name again...we worked hard all of us, every dev, hodler, trader to overcome the bad name gox n co gave crypto.
We helped regain cofidence in the market, it took years and now you guys are doing this....im extremely disapointed in you guys

i remember when polniex was hacked around 2014...i lost a few btc...i recieved an email from Busoni saying he will refund everyone or users can write it off as a donation....i wrote it off...around 6months ltr..i began recieving bits of BTC into my account..it was Busoni refunding users....this is what elevated Polo to a higher lever...the honesty and transparancy....
But things seem to have changed...its not the same anymore  Sad

Please Polo help your customers asap

Also i have my suspicions about usdt  ( when buying usdt is always more than usd...when selling usdt is worth less than usd )

Guys, if poloniex will follow gox destiny, whole crypto will be fucked and for good, lets not dramatise its not what we need today and onwards.

I see positive things in these lags. It stops whales from forcefully liquidate margin, as-well controls crowd of paranoid-panic-bubble-praying-teenagers, implicit price resistance.

The one of the problem is that some Chinese/South Korean exchanges buy BTC for higher price, so people sell for BTC and withdraw, that is a part of other alts going down.

And again you can pray on BitCoin being decentralised, but do not be fooled, decentralisation is only the concept that lies in piece of software/code, the rest is very centralised and regulated.

XRP so far shows commitment to stay at 9 - 10k satoshi, late to say though
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 08, 2017, 09:40:37 PM
I think we need to be aware of the affect these forums have on people investing, there are a lot of people with not a lot of money and we need to make sure they dont lose but gain.

Its a reality, not a dream world. You can loose, you can win, the only way you know, after you buy.

As of bank buying, do not worry about them they can buy all your longs and shorts and than take your profit from you. How? Simple, humans greedy, humans want more.
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 08, 2017, 08:48:14 PM
Thre is a reoccuring thought that most get when price goes up then comes down ..." if only i sold some then and bought more back now ,id have more " but it doesnt work in your favour much and most will end up losing more XRP

Stop thinking about it, let it go up..up..up n down...bad panic decisions lead you away from the plan...always stick to the plan  Wink

also no point complaining about polo, they wont listen...money talks, so until people dont start going elsewhere for XRP and other coins, polo wont do anything about it...by the time they do it could be to late for them.
Glad i moved alot to stamp after the last polo fiasco.

True enough. It seems almost as if its being done to get others in cheaper and then the site is fine and price recovers every time I've watched it happen.
exactly...prob themselves lol
I think they run out of coins on the sell side, so they crash the site and get people to panic dump and increase sells again

Haha. The market of Ripple is liquid enough, even when the fixed amount is reached. ----> Increase of price
overall yes but im meaning just on polo
durin last xrp crash @ 7k almost entire book was bought up, then it crashed..exactly the same thing happened again with str yesterday

also not bothered in the slightest about this dump....my lower orders filled which i wasnt expecting, but im happy about it.. Grin
Solid tech, solid team, sbi vc still opening with XRP in currency basket....this summer!!!!!!
THIS IS THE LAST XRP SALE UNDER 10k sat/20cents EVER  buy, hodl ...please dont sell now and cry ltr

Very recognisable pattern, this is happens to LTC for a last two weeks, just right now you could enter 0.015 and yesterday it was 0.020, and now it 0.017. So, good for XRP anyway, somebody just executes forcely liquidates shorter's Cheesy
984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 08, 2017, 05:59:36 PM
I see new supporters with more good news and monolith backup. And horde of trolls waving to passed train.

Anyway, tell about this feeling of 1USD prediction one month ago, and 1USD prediction now? How are the feelings and confidence?

8B USD is just nothing to Banks.

Congratulations to everyone, I am not selling and even not waiting for correction, I am enjoying these times of product being successful Smiley
985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 05, 2017, 09:31:55 PM
I am just waiting Joel to come back, he is the sign that we are waiting ! Smiley

Anyway, 10c reached, strong sign of confidence for clients/investors/traders in upcoming events, we going to have a lot of them... Lets set 25c as new high for end of June? Cheesy
986  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best EU country to tax profit on crypto currency trading on: May 05, 2017, 09:25:33 PM
@vsyc:
It might be the best option to ask a tax consultant.
The rule with "half year" has many exceptions, so of course it is not enough to be tourist in a land.

Looks like that is the only way....
987  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best EU country to tax profit on crypto currency trading on: May 05, 2017, 12:50:24 AM
Profits from cryptocurrency is taxed nearly in every country.
(it seems "tax" is in english sometimes used as synonym for fee? otherwise I can't explain why so many people claim "there is no tax only fee for withdrawal/trading". This does not make sense, since real tax has nothing to do with any fees)

@vsyc:
It does not depend on where you are, it does depend on where you live (usually this is where you have your home or where you are more then half a year per year). You pay the taxes to that authority were you also pay all other taxes to.

Got it, so lets say I sold my GNT for BTC, in country that has tax 50% on income, and went to live in country that has tax 20%, after half year I decided to sell my BTC for fiat in latter country?

My point, if I understand this right, that there is no government/institution in the world to control profit when you sell one crypto for another. But there is capital gain tax/income tax when you sell crypto for fiat and do profit from that?

Speaking of half year, in some countries I can stay for half year as a tourist Smiley lets say in US/Canada, how that works in this case?
988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 05, 2017, 12:34:26 AM
Just a thought...

As XRP Ripple gains more positive attention and adoption from banks and businesses....
what about the crypto guys?
The big exchanges will need to stock up on XRP ( build liquidity ) btce, coinbase, gemini, okcoin... guys like Winkies, ver, silbert and many more will want alot of XRP...the chinese market....the whales want alot... the crypto day traders and the noobies.

https://twitter.com/XRPedia/status/859919373343096833
Following #LTC, @coinbase will be "supporting more types of digital assets over the coming year"

No brainer...btce, gemini and okcoin will prob add it aswell , before SBI VC opens this summer.  Wink

Remember 6weeks ago roughly 1XRP=1cent...those days have gone,by end of may the days of 1XRP under 10cents will be gone.

My entry period was between half-cent and cent, I was lucky enough here. But I was pissed of, of days taking SEPA transactions, daily limits... So, I will not quit until 1$, even than I will think Cheesy

And every time when Joel replies to this thread, XRP goes up.
I haven't taken my "10 cents!" bottle of champagne out of the fridge yet.

Bet it's very first one out of limited editions! That go up to dollars rather than cents Smiley
989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 04, 2017, 10:36:56 PM
And every time when Joel replies to this thread, XRP goes up. Coincidence?

As a long term, you are still in the beginning Smiley
990  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best EU country to tax profit on crypto currency trading on: May 04, 2017, 08:12:18 PM
I also would be interested on different taxes on bitcoin profits.

But the thing you described should be impossible. It does not matter where you withdraw your profits to.
You have to pay taxes in that country, where you lived at the moment you sold your GNT (so made the profit)

Tor or Proxy makes it very difficult to prove, considering that EU has "no borders".

e.g. I can be on fast train From Luxembour, picking up my friend in Cologne, before going to Amsterdam, and sale happened when I just entered 1st meter of Belgium Cheesy "Hypothetically"

I can sell GNT for BTC being in Spain, and week after sell it in Luxembourg for Fiat, how that should work than?
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 04, 2017, 07:51:40 PM
BTC dropped down, and everyone like headless chickens sell everything. So far it got back into near 5k satoshi Smiley
992  Economy / Speculation / Re: When this bubble will burst? on: May 04, 2017, 06:49:37 PM
What do you mean bubble?

Price goes up you margin buy.
Price goes down you margin sell.

In any case you still earn fiat, until you use some body money. Until exchanges exist Smiley
993  Economy / Trading Discussion / Best EU country to tax profit on crypto currency trading on: May 04, 2017, 06:22:17 PM
Hi,
Sorry if it another yet topic and I should use search, but I will appreciate any help in this topic.

Lets say I put 10,000EUR EUR on Kraken, buy XBT, and for these XBT buy GNT.
Than I sell GNT for XBT, and XBT for EUR, that in total 50,000EUR.
My profit is 40,000EUR.

So question is, how can I legalise this profit? What is the best EU country to do so (less than 25% tax)? Do I need to have a Bank Account there? If so, can I open it remotely?

Example that I looking for, is:

Lets say Austrian bank can tax you 20% on income, it will open Bank Account for me, where I withdraw my profit, they will charge tax on it and provide certificate that these money clean. I will, go to Estonia, will buy land, Estonian bank will ask me prove of income, I will provide this certificate from Austrian bank, they say 'Good Man' land is yours.

Do I see it right? Or how the process of profit legalisation works? What is the best country for EU man (no matter what country resident EU man is at point of time)?

Thank you.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto marketcap goes from $30bn to $40bn in under 2 weeks - What next?? on: May 04, 2017, 05:39:23 PM
it seems like some people have a hard time grasping the meaning of a bubble!
these rises are not healthy. even if we assume they are all awesome projects and with real world application, it is still doesn't explain a rise like this in a short time. and go ask whoever you want, in Forex market, the experts over stock trading, ... they all will tell you that going up like this in a short time means you are in a bubble and it will burst sooner or later.

i still remember the topics from last year or the year before that, after the bubble burst and everyone was cursing the market and saying we will never come back. and the history is repeating itself again.

try not to be the ones creating sympathy topics about your losses.

I like it! Like Wall Street would ever tell you "come on board, you gonna be reach with this buy 100% sure" Cheesy If you look into fucking numbers, than yes everything is bubble, if you try to see a value, demand, future than you are in better position.

"40B is a bubble", Wall street is ROFL on that statement.

995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC has to correct before it rises on: May 04, 2017, 05:30:25 PM
I don't believe the rise will be sustained. We are going back to 0.009 before the price consolidates and finds a solid floor above 0.01. There's also the risk of investors selling the news again just like what we saw with segwit getting locked in. One last dip before the rocket ignites.

It's also going to need continued good news otherwise the price will tend to stagnate until we see solid LN usage.

You know, price does not rise because of shorters, that do not give a shit about product, rather than earn a single satoshi. Despite that everything is possible, it will not go to 0.009, forget.  It was correcting for a month or so, now only up.

Fuck you shorters, lets prove LTC value! Smiley
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 03, 2017, 11:13:45 PM
I know a lot of people who bought XRP, many of them in part because of my enthusiasm, who watched bitcoin soar as XRP's price stayed the same and even dropped. Most of them bought their XRP with bitcoins and got between 35,000 and 85,000 XRP for every bitcoin. Today, despite bitcoin being at a record high, you can buy a bitcoin for about 25,100 XRP. That is, almost all of those people are currently in a better position than they would have been had they bought bitcoins and held them -- many of them much better.

My father bought XRP at Justcoin almost exactly three years ago, getting about 83,000 XRP for each bitcoin. Sadly, he passed away at the end of last year and my siblings and I inherited his XRP. Today it is worth over ten times what he paid for it.

I have devoted the last four years of my life to Ripple, and now work together with over 100 full-time employees who are devoted to making global payments work better. While I concede I can't prove that this increase in price isn't a bubble or isn't the result of some pump and dump attempt, to me it feels like recognition for the effort the team has put in all these years.

You and team changing the world, so, let it be a continuous pump Smiley Thank you!
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 03, 2017, 08:17:41 PM
I think it safe to say that XRP established between 3600-4000, full attention and new highs from end of May onward!

Also BTC resistant!

I think you are right on that. Stayed between there nearly this entire time for about 90% of the time or more. Sometimes a bit higher and sometimes a bit lower but now seems like its found its spot.

I notice XRP stays sideways for awhile and then it goes up which I read Sideways markets like XRP generally go up over time.

It stabilise at 0.00006 end of June, no choice, that is 0.1, considering BTC 1700 by that time.
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC round 2 begins? on: May 03, 2017, 08:10:25 PM
Do you guys really think that LTC will toucg $40 USD soon ? Please tell me what you really thinks about LTC. I know crypto is unstable, uncertain. Anything may happen in LTC. I think we will see LTC @ BTC0.02

LTC does, what BTC does want to do now. And IMHO, now it most undervalued. Today Coinbase happened, in a week SegWit, after or at the same time Lightning Network and so on. And what BTC? Nothing.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Portfolio reccomendations on: May 03, 2017, 07:46:45 PM
replace all this shit:

5% PIVX (Dash 2.0)
5% NEM (ETH 2.0)
5% LSK (ETH 2.0)
5% AUG (Pred-Market)

Onto XRP/GNT 10/10
