981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hottest alts of 2020 on: January 16, 2020, 12:00:45 PM
Just filter from top altcoins instead of risking with new coins. There are numerous altcoins with great potentials like TRX,  EOS, ADA and most importantly Ethereum as ETH is affordable now so we can bet on ETH as it can give a good return on investment. We often underestimate the worth of ETH let's not do it this time.

Hottest alt-coins for me are the same hottest alt-coins from the past years. Starting with Ethereum, Monero, Dash, and
many others. This year started great for these alt-coins and now we see again for what alt-coins are capable off.
I will stick with this alt-coins in this year too. As I said earlier I will try to grow alt-coins I have, hottest alt-coins will
stay hot for many years.
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Monero Be The Best Investment In 2020? on: January 16, 2020, 09:30:29 AM
Monero is one of the top coins, Monero is one of the best investments in past years, and will be one of the best investments in 2020.
It's how we can say it, one of the best, there are other top coins too. Which one will be the best in 2020 we will see in the end of the year
who made the highest progress of them all! I am with Monero! I am with some other top coins too!
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH price in 2020 on: January 15, 2020, 09:05:16 PM
BCH has had a strong rally for almost a month, the current BCH price has reached $ 330 and has increased 100% since December. In 2020, the price of BCH will certainly continue to rise and I expect it to reach at least $ 600 by the end of 2020. I make such a prediction because the price of BCH depends on the price of Bitcoin, if Bitcoin increases then the price of BCH will increase as well and of course 2020 will be a great year for Bitcoin
There is a new challenger in town with the BSV fork challenging BCH for the over all market valuation and rankings and it will be a good challenge for the investors as they will be the ultimate winners as long as the price and development is going in the right direction. Not sure how long it can go as all the alt coins depends upon the price of bitcoin.

It's a false pump of sv.  People who are buying into this pump are just going to get rekt shortly.  And discussing altcoin prices in ISD value is a pointless endeavour since it is based on bitcoin pairings not usd.  Better price predicts in terms of sats to get a true feeling of if a coin went up in value versus it going down

I saw similar comments about current BSV pump, some people say it's manipulation and that BSV will be dumped huge
in near future. Some people believe it's going higher, BSV have supporters too.
I don't know what to think about all that! I'm confused and I am following situation closely. Only time will tell who is right
and who is wrong, for now price is pumped, and many other alt-coins made a progress this days, we will see what will
come out from all this.
984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BNB? on: January 15, 2020, 07:43:44 PM
Well, it is pumping now... However, we don't know how long it will be sustained for. I would hold BNB though. The CEO seems to be very intelligent with his business and the project will last for a long time to come.

We know that business is going good for Binance. With intelligent CEO CZ who have a vision for the future they are doing great
work with their exchange, their coin BNB and with community.
When we know all that we can be sure that this project will be here for long, and not just that, they will develop their business
even more. It's a good time to invest in them while they are in early stages.
985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins not Growing These Days on: January 15, 2020, 04:10:51 PM
good start to the year, altcoin season is likely to come before halving,
but bitcoin prices are still too risky to decline, of course altcoin prices can be affected

Great start of the year. With this start we can say that this headline is completely wrong, alt-coins are growing these days!
And some are growing more than others as we can see.
I think it's too early for an alt-coin season and price rise we expect from that alt-coin season. Let's be happy with what we
have now, enjoy the moment and hope for much higher rise.
986  Economy / Speculation / Re: OMG, BitCoin is spiking !!! What is causing this ??? on: January 15, 2020, 09:27:14 AM
It’s bitcoin. Explaining this thing is like trying to take a running at a rolling donut. The only thing that for sure, It’s valuable, and it will settle high. it was $100, spiked to $1,200 and settled at $200's. Then it slowly doubled a couple times before it spiked to $20,000, burst, and settled into high $3,000's. It’s rallying again. It’s building again, hopefully slowly, and if it spikes and bursts, it’ll do so somewhere head and shoulders above the previous price again.

You are right, why would we try to explain this sudden spike, what would be the purpose of finding a reason for this spike?
People would like to find a specific signal that triggered this, so they can try to be on alert for that signal next time. I think it
is impossible, the price is rising due many factors, I think it's never just one reason behind the price spike.
As a holder I am enjoying in this bull run, but this is just a little compared with Bitcoin real possibilities, I am continuing with
holding!
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: January 14, 2020, 06:22:21 PM
there's a lot of good coins to buy and you can see them at the market and just check out the top 100 and you can check out what's the best one.

Yeah there are so many coins but not all of them are invest worthy or good coins because for getting a good coin it needs a lot of effort and research. According to me apart from bitcoin, there are only two coins and they are ETH and Ripple which can be used to invest our money apart from bitcoin otherwise it’s much better to invest only in bitcoin as it’s a most promising coin to invest and it gives much profit.

Ethereum is my second choice too! Judging by the comments and polls here on forum Ethereum is a second choice for many people,
not just us. After Bitcoin and Ethereum I choose Binance coin (BNB), they did so many things last year, and I believe they will be in top
form this year too. From them I expect many things, they are active on all fields and they are nailing it.
988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV, A Game Changer? on: January 14, 2020, 03:55:15 PM
I think everyone should be careful with BSV, do not be deceived because of price surge because news are spreading on the internet that there might be whales pumping BSV and others said they might be ready for an exit scam

People should be careful with all coins! BSV is a coin forked from Bitcoin, some people like BSV a lot, while majority thinks that
BSV with their funder is one big scam. BCH and BSV are coins that have many unsettled matters, between them and with Bitcoin.
There are many accusations from all sides, and personally I don't like that! I have some BCH and BSV I got from Bitcoins I had, but
that's all, I don't plan to invest in them, my choice is Bitcoin or Ethereum in the first place.
989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Altcoins Won't Moon Can't I Just Short the Hell Outta Them??? on: January 14, 2020, 06:41:33 AM
OP wait for a months, i think for altcoins, not all altcoins only bigger one maybe still worth to wait. And the others, don't waste your time, when you see it is profit, or when you lose, as long you can get your capital back, then out from that coin. For me now i change only to big coins in coinmarketcap and hold it.

Months are nothing for holding, he need to wait for years and only then to come up with this statement. Few months in business
world are too short for big changes that most of us here expect.
I wouldn't sell now, from June until now Bitcoin dropped, like all other coins, most of them had their top price in June, for 2019 I mean.
Prices will go have higher top in 2020 than in 2019, I believe that, we need to wait for the middle of this year before we make any
decisions for shorting and selling.

990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting for the rise of all altcoins on: January 13, 2020, 05:05:03 PM
Honestly, I am very optimistic about this year, I think this year Bitcoin and Altcoins both market will rise like the bull run. Alts totally depends on Bitcoin price movements, so, if the halving goes well and Bitcoin price hit a remarkable price zone then the crypto market environment will change like 2017 when everything became better!

I am optimistic person, and I am very optimistic about my crypto-portfolio! Not just about this year, for the next 10 years! But
I am not optimistic about all coins and tokens, I believe many of them will die along the way, and probably many of them will stay
where they are now.
I don't know will we see similar rise this year like we had in 2017, but any rise is welcome and I hope there will be one this year,
one good one!
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which crypto is good for long trading? on: January 13, 2020, 02:25:50 PM
If you're asking which coins/tokens to have a long position in, you're pretty much just asking which coins to invest in.

Tell you what, if you don't want to exert your own effort into doing research on which projects actually could be a good long-term investment, then you probably shouldn't be doing investing in general. Do something else you're willing to actually spend time in instead.
I got your point. I guess TS is just too excited to know the answer that is why he posted this question and he wants to maximize his time while doing his research. To TS, I guess I think you need to research first then you share what you have fund out then the members will do the confirmation and reactions from what you have posted.

I agree with both of you! Mk4 is right, long-term trading is actually investing in holding for a long-term before selling, and who is not
willing to spend some time in doing a simple research shouldn't invest money in crypto-currencies. Cryp24x you are right too, who wish
to do it properly should research first then to compare his research with others, and posting his findings is great to, in that way he can
see reactions and to make decision after consultation with other investors.
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why will you invest in something you know nothing about? on: January 13, 2020, 11:15:03 AM
Probably people will not invest into something they don't really know because it is the first step to getting scammed in the first place. Investing into a project we don't know is like diving too hard into a dirty swimming pool where, we really don't know how deep it is. We might get hit directly to the tiles, or to successfully dive to a deep water but the water being dirty might just lead us to have bacteria related diseases. I think of this analogy to imply that we shouldn't invest in any projects we didn't know, because any way for use, it might lead our funds to a wrong hands.

I really don't know where the idea for this topic came from? Why would anyone invest in something unknown? What is a point
in that? I would never think about investing without some kind of research!
Polarr91 I like your analogy, why would someone jump into something, why would anyone risk so much, and conclusions is for
what you are risking? Big profit, passive income, scam, if you don't know in what you invest you can't know what you expect
from that.
993  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does auto trading bot make good profit ? on: January 13, 2020, 09:23:59 AM
I never tried auto trading bot! Every time I saw people discussing about that half says it's good, other half says it's bad. I don't
like to risk too much, and looks like trading bot is a very risky investment.
Can someone with experience in using trading bots sum up everything that newbie should know about trading bots. I can't find
any conclusions about this matter. Thanks in advance for any answer, I hope that can help me in making decision to invest in
trading bot or not!

I would suggest you set up Gekko. Google Gekko trading bot and you'll see it's a completely free bot implementation with a lot of different trading algorithms you can play around with. Plus, it even has a live paper trader so you don't have to invest anything at all just to watch it work live. It also has a backtest feature where you can backtest the algorithm you're running for as far back as you would like. It's fun to play around with and it doesn't cost you anything to get started if you don't want to risk anything.

I will try Gekko only because you explained what is Gekko all about. It's free, you don't need to invest anything, I like that
because I don't like to invest in something I don't know nothing about. I will download it and try it, I will have fun and I will
learn something new.
Adroitful_one thanks a lot for sharing this with us, and thank you even more for this nice explanation! Wish you all the best.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: January 12, 2020, 09:57:12 PM
I have always tell people that the crypto sphere is not just about holding especially on a long term. We must learn how to increase our assets by trading it. If you are not careful, holding for a long term can make you lose your asset.

There are many ways for growing your assets, trading is just one of them, and you chose the most risky one to present. I think that
trading is not for everyone, you need to have skills, some knowledge, and to have time for that. Trading is not for me, I like to invest
and hold my crypto-assets, my way of growing is money I earn from my job.
Each of us should find the best way for growing our portfolios, I find my own and I am glad if you find yours in trading, I wish you
successful trading year!
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your preparation for 2020? on: January 12, 2020, 08:46:26 PM
I would tell that this is the year I'm already grown up this coming year, I'm already aware of how the market works, how things are going in the real world, and that being careful all the time. This is the year I decide what I really want and I would prefer to do day trading, more lucrative and less risk instead of investing

I'm really glad for you! You are very self confident, and that is a good thing. You spend time for learning, in observing the crypto-market,
now you think you are ready for big things that waits for you, and I feel happy for you and I hope you will be successful! With self confidence
you have and some capital I think you are ready to start with day-trading!
My plans for 2020 is accumulating! I will try my best to add more coins and tokens to my portfolio! It will be my only goal!
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why do you participant in Airdrops? on: January 12, 2020, 06:47:23 PM
According to the current situation analysis, airdrop tokens can no longer attract investors' attention, because airdrop tokens cannot bring investors profits.

Why do you think about airdrops as investments? Why should airdrops attract investors, airdrops attract people to try some service,
and only if they try and they like it maybe they will invest. Airdrops are just portions of some coin or token that can give you couple
dollars for trying.
I participate in airdrop if I like the project, that amount I get I use for testing. It can be fun with some good projects, but it's usually
a waste of time. One in five airdrops is good, so I choose in which airdrop to participate very carefully!
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance WIN campaign fraud on: January 12, 2020, 05:24:07 AM
Guys, maybe you are not aware of the fake youtube channels that are having a live stream and says they will give away coins or tokens? always verify it first with their main website not with a strange youtube channel that's copying and using Binance name.

Just like this on the link - {Warning}: Another Fake CZ Binance AMA Bitcoin Giveaway

There are many fake giveaways, you are right about that. Scammers will do anything to attract more people, they mask
themselves and if you don't pay close attention you can't notice anything.
CT is a mess sometimes, I can't make a difference between valid and fake giveaway in most cases. I tried many times to
follow the rules and I never got anything, it's why I don't try anymore!
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts on my portfolio please on: January 11, 2020, 08:52:20 PM
Thank you everyone for your input, I'll swap the NPXS and GAS for BTC for now Smiley

I think that your portfolio is great, thanks for sharing it with us. I think that what is left now is too accumulate more of
these coins and maybe to add some new from time to time. This is a long-term investment, it's the same with me, and like
every long-term investment we need to add some more when ever we can in the meantime.
I can't say much about NPXS and GAS, I don't have them. Our portfolios are more than 75% similar, once I get in some investment
I don't sell. If I plan to have more Bitcoins I will add more money, that stands for all other coins I have.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 give new hope to Altcoin? on: January 11, 2020, 03:50:58 PM
Your faith and market confidence drive you to feel that crypto market will soon boom. That was a kind of motivation but unfortunately, others don't have such a kind of attitude bringing them into a losing ends. We have the uptrend motion early this year but remember all of this is just a temporary and it is always changed in the next days. Nothing to be sure about the bullish or we drop again, but because of halving events, it certainly brings the market to have a positive response.

Nothing to be sure, but that doesn't mean we have to lose our faith. Many things are not sure in this world, sometimes everything can
look black, everything to point to some disaster, but faith is what should lead us trough the dark times, when things doesn't look bright.
Life teach us about that everyday, and we need to be motivated and to believe in decisions we once made!
Don't change your mind like the weather, be strong and have faith in what you do!
