Looks like "new-alt fever" is about dead with less than 10 posts in here. Two months ago there would have been hundreds by now.

Some people are also at work, it is the middle of the day. Lucky for me, my miners are at my store  Smiley

Great, johnk k the troll moves another one. Why cant he throw all those shitcoin threads in the trashcan?

Looking through your first page of post history, I see you are both a professional artist that designs "shitcoin" logos, as well as a financial broker that has made $20 million recently. It's good to see you doing your part to clean up the forums by not spamming bullshit
9906  Other / Meta / Re: Look at all the spam in this thread.... geeez on: July 05, 2013, 05:13:09 PM
I think you are confusing forum with thread. Either that, or you make 0 sense, since you are spamming with this topic. Quite redundant
This is a post, the alt. currency section is the thread, the website is the forum.... I do accept donations for your lesson Wink
This topic is a thread; what you are referring to as a thread is in fact a board on a forum.

Some people aren't worth the 120 characters it takes to correct them, just let it go lol

I don't even know how we share some of the same DNA. Thanks for making me feel smart today, though, I needed that laugh

then the way you are going its the best to have a coin killed by monster who like me own over 20mh....dont stop that day is coming

I'm also thinking about killing this one, or at least just the stupid ass pool

Please dont kill the coin.  Cry

Solomining is working fine

We have more pools and stuff in development

I'm not, I like the coin. That pool op is a fuckin idiot though

And on that note, here comes my first ignore on the board
9912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should Pool Op's have a choice on who mines on their pool and how? on: July 05, 2013, 01:32:24 AM
actually uve misunderstood theres a big difference. on my pool login and look at the miners theres one guy with 25mh im letting him stay. why? because he doesnt jump at the sign of the next diff change. some people do and they end up killing the coin, i dont want people like that on my pool end of story

You think wayyyy too highly of yourself. You're running a pool (by choice), not a brokerage firm, quit fucking with peoples money
9913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RED] REDCOIN - With bonus blocks and super blocks [OFFICIAL LAUNCH] on: July 05, 2013, 01:30:58 AM
yeah they have been, only the redcoin pool is running right now. Try coming over to the mcxnow exchange and ask about me, theyll tell you themselves the effort i put into making them

No. You whine about your money being wasted on a pool, yet think it's ok to mess with other peoples money and put the donation to 100% whenever you feel they aren't making you enough or mining the way you want them to? Get the fuck out of here
9914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should Pool Op's have a choice on who mines on their pool and how? on: July 05, 2013, 01:28:41 AM
You do realize that the difficulty will change whether they are on a pool or not...forcibly changing to 100% donation or kicking people off that you feel are "too high hashrate" is a good way to kill the coin
9915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RED] REDCOIN - With bonus blocks and super blocks [OFFICIAL LAUNCH] on: July 05, 2013, 01:27:02 AM
actually seeing as im currently the operator of the only pool atm, and the official redcoin pool coming tomorrow. Im pretty sure i can have a saw on whos killing my pool, my money and the work ive put effort into. Ask any pool op and they shall tell you it is a thankless job. Us pool ops get barely anything in fees, yet we put the time into making well made stable pools, and constantly finding ways to improve it. Im pretty sure if i had enough power to kill the diff on any coins u own, resulting in u losing a lot of money, you wouldnt be happy.

Personally pool op's have the right to say who mines at their pool and how.

Lol, I see your pools going very far and getting super popular   Roll Eyes
9916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RED] REDCOIN - With bonus blocks and super blocks [OFFICIAL LAUNCH] on: July 05, 2013, 01:03:49 AM
sorry about that impression but its neccesary, Before the pool ran into problems me and a few other pool ops were discussing this as i was in the same position, Some people, Mr Lam as an example came to the pool, mined like crazy. took the diff sky high then left, causing problems until the diff returns to normal. And as stated there its a 3 step process, It will only be done as a final resort. Im pretty sure, if you had all your earnings into a coin and then someone killed the high diff, you would be gutted due to losing a lot of money. I was in the same position with mincoin so i know what it feels like and dont want that to happen again. The highest hasher on my pool has 25MH although i dont plan on kicking him off because i know he stays when the diff rises, so it doesnt affect the coin as much.

So end of rant, feel free to solo mine, the notice is there mainly as a warning, But in the extreme cases may be used.

It's not up to you to decide how or where people mine. Good luck, but once other people read it they will leave, too, I'm sure
9917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RED] REDCOIN - With bonus blocks and super blocks [OFFICIAL LAUNCH] on: July 05, 2013, 12:41:00 AM
I was going to throw a few rigs at it once you got it back up, but I don't think so anymore. Talking about kicking off the high hashrates and also this from your pool:

"Pool Hopping on this pool will not be tolerated. Their is a 3 stage procedure for pool hoppers. 1. Email to user 2. Second email to user and a Locked account until a response has been recieved 3.Third email sent to user and donation set to 100%
Pool Hopping for me is considered to be anyone mining until the diff increases and then only coming back when it falls. I have seen many coins struggle due to people like this and would not like my pool to be cause of any problems"

I'm going to go ahead and stick to solo mining. It's not up to a pool operator to decide when and where people mine. This leaves me with a very bad impression and makes me want to avoid all your pools. Sorry, but that is ridiculous

Can't connect
9919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RED] REDCOIN - With bonus blocks and super blocks [OFFICIAL LAUNCH] on: July 04, 2013, 04:46:50 PM
right guys, i have the pool up, the problems look to be fixed. although i would recommend only putting a bit of hashpower on the pool if not monitored or all if they are. There's only been 1 block found after the problems started because everyone was finding the solution to the same block. However as a goodwill gesture ive added a 50 redcoin bonus to the block finder for the next 100 blocks. Good luck

I'm going to point a few rigs at it to get your 48 hours since last block found timer fixed  Wink

Edit: Nevermind, can't connect  Sad
9920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MicroGuy scams YouTubers!!! on: July 04, 2013, 12:03:51 AM

Anyway, MicroGuy has seemed to change his attitude, let's wait and see his next move

oh so even his followers conclude this was a scam.

Caught out and now saying to his blind followers he has changed  Roll Eyes lol go figure

Actually, I was very against him until the last few days. I still don't support his message, but as long as he doesn't try to shove it down our throats anymore, things will be fine
