Go ask your local fortune tellers what's going to happen to bitcoin's price. Maybe they can give you the answers you're looking for.
9902  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Can anyone identify which Script is this? on: March 09, 2020, 02:30:44 AM
Unfortunately for you it looks like the site isn't using a downloadable theme. It looks pretty generic though, so this shouldn't be that hard to code with HTML/CSS if you know enough coding; or if you don't want to start from scratch, you could always download a free theme and just simply modify it to your liking.
9903  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can anyone recomend Good Trading bot for me? Can it Work? on: March 08, 2020, 02:03:58 PM
Trading bots aren't something that you just turn on and you make money daily. Trading bots are just a tool used by traders that they update and tweak frequently to make their lives easier. Now, so if you don't even know how to trade in the first place, then I suggest that you forget it. Put your money elsewhere instead, in something that you actually have knowledge on.
9904  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Brought Bitcoin in 2017 and sold in 2018 on: March 08, 2020, 02:01:51 PM
So your buy-sell timespan is pretty much just months, not even one single year. That timespan is nowhere close to even being called "investing". It looks like you bought bitcoin so you will "get-rich-quick", where mindsets like that always end up making people lose money. You might want to be more realistic with your expectations.
9905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona is spreading in many countries!! Bitcoin is a solution for transactions on: March 08, 2020, 01:44:01 PM
I dont know why people are really that positive enough to believe that bitcoin would replace that traditional online banking. lol

There's really a chance though. It's just that it won't really happen in a snap of a finger. It's just going to take time. A LOT of time. Bitcoin's liquidity is simply not there yet. But in the future? Maybe. Time will tell.
9906  Local / Pilipinas / Re: IRAN BABAWASAN ANG PAGGAMIT NG SARILI NILANG BANK NOTES? on: March 08, 2020, 03:46:01 AM
May magandang benepisyo ba Ito sa Bitcoin?

Little to no effect in my opinion. Kokonti ang tao na gagamit ng cash sa takot ng COVID-19? Mejo simple lang naman, gagamit sila ng online banking, PayPal, o ano mang katumbas ng PayMaya at GCash sa Iran.

9907  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Purchase Guide for Beginners on: March 08, 2020, 03:41:23 AM
Quote from your website: "Why Invest in Bitcoin? 100,000% up gained since 2010. Bitcoin is the best performance asset in 2019, compared with major traditional assets. If holding for longer term, the performance is even better."

If I would personally endorse the buying of bitcoin to other people(which I never did), this is definitely NOT the way to do it in my opinion. Unless you want a huge-ass bubble like what we had in 2017.

And just to add to what jackg said: While I'm personally really fine with articles/pages such as what you did(referral links and such), you might want to create something new that would put your site above those already existing. It's just slightly better than those referral link spam articles in my opinion.
9908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona is spreading in many countries!! Bitcoin is a solution for transactions on: March 08, 2020, 03:35:21 AM
So you're pretty much saying that Bitcoin is the only way we can transact in a cashless manner? I mean, I'm a huge ass bitcoin bull in the long term but you might want to think realistically. Let's not act as if online banking and online payments platforms like PayPal/Venmo/CashApp/etc doesn't exist.

"If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is.."

The fact that the site was written in broken english, should be a big sign already.

Anti sportsbook accounts yan from related projects, ayaw kasi nila ng kompetensya.

Please help us oppose their claims mga kabayan.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=1435

Hindi totoo lahat ng paninira nila samin

Regardless if tinitira nila ang KawBet due to competition reasons, ano ung defense niyo dun sa atake nilang almost exaktong pareho ung website UI niyo?

Some new crypto bookie named "Kawbet" recently came up and when checking out their website, I (and not just me) immediately noticed a similar website layout/structure/design/wording with 1xbit. 1xbit/1xbet and many more "labels" belong to the same group who have been scamming people for a long time, many bitcointalk members have been scammed but not exclusively - a google search shows how shady that group is.
9911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tim Draper will give you money to learn about Bitcoin on: March 07, 2020, 02:07:53 AM
Why shouldn't they pay it directly to everyone's bank accounts if they signed up through eToro and not deposit it to the said platform?

Because eToro wouldn't sort of "partner" with them if they wouldn't get anything out of it. It's safe to assume that they worked it out this way to hopefully get a good number of traders to their platform.

In the end, we're just assuming that this is the case lol. We're making too much assumptions.
9912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Recovery stolen from Bitcoin Core wallet on: March 07, 2020, 02:05:33 AM
That's why I've chosen Bitcoin Core as a cold wallet. I was sure and still sure that this is the most secure way to store BTC.

Using Bitcoin Core is a great option especially for privacy reasons, if you know what you're doing. I'd personally never suggest using Bitcoin Core to someone who is not that knowledgeable in terms of security. Hardware wallets are still the best for the masses in my opinion.

Anyway, update us on what you suspect happened. I'm really curious on what caused you to lose your funds. What OS are you using anyway?
9913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Recovery stolen from Bitcoin Core wallet on: March 06, 2020, 05:47:55 PM
Bitcoin transactions are final, unfortunately. There's really nothing you can do now.

As for how you lost the funds, chances are, you messed up somewhere. We can't really have a solid idea on what happened because well, it's your device not ours. Can you check if your device is infected? I'd personally start there. If you use Windows10, use the default antivirus installed(Defender) and probably also do a scan using MalwareBytes.

Next time you plan on buying bitcoin, it probably might be a great idea to purchase a hardware wallet to significantly decrease the chances of your wallet's keys being leaked.
9914  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: March 06, 2020, 04:31:24 PM
But what would the market be (pair) if no fiat? If Bitcoin was used solely and no fiat currency the other currencies would take a back seat and bitcoin wouldnt be traded against them for mainstream users. Are you saying the market maybe against gold and other commodities such as oil?

It will be the sort of "main" pair. Instead of comparing bitcoin to x, x will be compared to bitcoin. Just how most things are priced at USD right now, things will be priced in BTC instead(most definitely sats).
9915  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Pianaka unang bitcoin casino sa pinas! -Kawbet.com on: March 06, 2020, 02:24:00 PM

As per Coins.ph Terms and Conditions[1]: "Partake in any transaction involving online gambling except where permitted by Coins.ph"

Most likely at risk with both sending and receiving to and from gambling sites. Pero up to you naman if you're willing to risk it. One way to find out? Sino may gustong mag try? LOL. Tongue

9916  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: March 06, 2020, 02:14:35 PM
Let's speak hypothetically if Bitcoin was ready and governments decided to adopt it as the main currency and dropped all fiat currencies. (I know not going to happen). In this case how would it be valued?  Would inflation be an issue?
Then it would probably valued against gold in that case if all fiat currencies would be dropped(theoretically). As for inflation, since bitcoin's distribution is predictable and stable, I don't think there would be sort of "sudden inflation" events and such, assuming that the government doesn't do something like create IOUs like they did with gold in the past.

Obviously with no other fiat currency to compare value against  how would you determine how many satoshi a banana is worth?
One thing's for sure, the markets will decide. Just like with crypto exchange order books, the price difference between buyers and sellers will go smaller and smaller until we sort of find the "stable price" of what a banana is worth. It just wouldn't happen in an instant.
9917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tim Draper will give you money to learn about Bitcoin on: March 06, 2020, 02:09:42 PM
So if that was really the case, it's pretty much no payment admission, but instead you pay with your KYC/AML information. Somewhat like Coinbase Earn[1]. The $299 ticket is just there to pretty much make the "free ticket" through eToro look like a great deal.

9918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New York Bitcoin Mining Machine. on: March 06, 2020, 10:46:05 AM
The plant is only accessible for any bitcoin machine, so it means that there will be no traffic in the transactions of the bitcoin in New York because they already have a generator for the bitcoin machine.

Can you expound more on what you mean here? Did you mean that Bitcoin transactions in New York are faster because of this "Bitcoin Mining Machine"? Because that's not how it works.
9919  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What age would you recommend the forum to ? on: March 06, 2020, 10:42:05 AM
Yes your right but can you take your brother seeing on what is existing here? There are so many scamming, bashing and other form of harassment that can bothered which can possibly depressed them, that's why I'm careful to introduce this to my young guys here since I want them to explore the outside world before going into this world.

But although this forum is a great platform to earn still I it should be rated 18 for some reasons.

I don't think people here should necessarily be 18. Man take a look how sort of "mature" 14-16 year olds are nowadays. 14 year olds wearing makeup and such. But anyway, I wouldn't really want them to be cursed at and such, but one way or another they need to learn that there are really rude people and that there are people with ill-intentions online. I was like 12 the first time I was phished on an online game LOL. Never again happened after that.
9920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stack Sats Calculator - How much bitcoin you would have if you keep saving sats! on: March 06, 2020, 10:25:58 AM
Decent. Sorry but dcaBTC[1] has better features and more settings to tweak, and a chart too. Looks like you need to do a bit better CoinGecko!
