9981  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $500 during december? on: December 07, 2015, 11:45:53 AM

You guys see the difficulty and hash rate trend atm, i think we are going to see stable above $500 very soon.

The hashrate nearly doubled this year. It's just a matter of time before we see $500 again the comming months. China is leading in the mining industry, however, they are significantly behind with the amount of nodes, and that while Bitcoin is quite popular in China.
9982  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the highest price BTC can see in 2015? on: December 07, 2015, 11:29:02 AM
I hope to reach 400 dollar at the end of the year. That should be great.

if this continue like for the weekend we can expect over 400 in day or two (on some exchanges there was 400$ but if we calculate middle its still 5-10$ short)
we will maybe pass over 450 this month

Some traders clearly don't like $400 as they are dumping the price down again as soon as it touches $400 on Bitfinex. I do however think that we'll see the prices on various exchanges go over $400 and stay there for a while this month.
9983  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: December 07, 2015, 11:17:00 AM
What would you do if:

Bitcoin hit $1,000,000:
Bitcoin hit  $1,000 again:
Bitcoin stayed where it was:
Bitcoin became worthless, or a few cents:
And which of these do you think is most probable?

# I would use probably €200-€300K to buy myself a house and a new car.
# Nothing, I will just be happy.
# Nothing, I will just be happy.
# I would buy a huge load of coins and just hope for better times.

The most likely thing to happen is that we reach $1000 again.
9984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your story, how did you become interested in Bitcoin? on: December 07, 2015, 12:15:01 AM
My first goal was purely profit, that was all I was interested in, in the very beginning of 2013. After that, I have been learning more about what Bitcoin really is, and how it works. After that I became a huge supporter of the technology that powers Bitcoin. It made me happy because I can finally own the money that I have been working very hard for. And then I said goodbye to PayPal, Skrill and the other crappy payment services. From that time I am fully working with Bitcoin to make and receive payments.
9985  Other / Meta / Re: reason why sig-campaigns are not banned? on: December 07, 2015, 12:05:58 AM
Bwahaha, I find it pretty ironic that everyone except the OP here has a paid sig(Blazed's doesn't matter though, as he gets paid 0.5 BTC per month, regardless of posts made)

Some one not wearing a paid signature doesn't mean he or she is not participating in a signature campaign. These people have mostly alt accounts enrolled in signature campaigns Wink
9986  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price rise is over on: December 06, 2015, 11:05:24 PM
I see only ups and downs which makes today the price the same as yesterday, hope tomorrow a new starting week the price will be above 400 USD

I don't mind to see these ups and downs stay for a longer period as I have made a decent profit today with daytrading.

I have the feeling that the price can go up significantly at any time. I'll find out tomorrow if this is indeed the case, but one thing is sure, the comming months will be more than interesting with a lot profit making opportunities. The rise is definitely not over Wink

If you made profit then let's this trend continue but what i expected was to go above $400 today, but it is good even with +6$ today.

Bitfinex went over $400 3 times today. It only didn't manage to maintain its position above that level. At Bitstamp, where I trade, we still need to touch the $400 price level.
9987  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Chinese Exchange Houbi Reaches 10MILLION BTC Weekly Volume - Is It Real? on: December 06, 2015, 10:57:35 PM
I think we should take this news not with a pinch of salt, but more with a truckload of salt.

Regarding OKCoin & Huobi, I consider their real volume to be "just" 10% of what they want you to believe. Huobi's 7 day volume is BTC10.78 million, 10% of that makes their volume BTC1.078 million. OKCoin's 7 day volume is BTC7.24 million, 10% of that makes their volume BTC724 thousand.

There is too much fake trading happening on their exchanges, and not to mention the huge loads of phantom orders. It's a total mess. I have been monitoring the live orderbook of Huobi for quite some time, and out of nowhere there are more than frequently orders of BTC500-1000 popping up and vanishing after just a second. It's pure insanity.
9988  Economy / Speculation / Re: 400$ was the top on: December 06, 2015, 10:36:01 PM
Of course 400 is the top, it's totally manipulated

I don't believe in tops. If the people behind the manipulation want, they can get it to $500 within a day. Then people will simply say about the $500 price, 'this is the real top for december!'. People don't know what they have to think anymore. Today they are extremely sure that $400 is the absolute top, and tomorrow they don't even remember it anymore.

I agree that there are posters who's purpose is only to chase their payment targets. I find this not even to be a problem as long as their posts are at least good of quality and related to the thread or the posters quoted text.

If they are creating empty/nonsense posts to reach their goal, then the signature campaign operator should kick these people. It's that simple. What comes to my attention is that there are a lot of these people posting in the lending section and the market place. There is also a lot sales thread crashing/hijacking by noobs who are pretending they are interested in your product. They ask nonsense questions while everything is self explanatory or the OP has all the information already described.

Not sure what the purpose of that account is, but it's definitely weird. No posts and no activity.
Account is already banned.

Good to hear Smiley

Manchester City will win it all

today they lost to stoke
seem like they are in bad shape now

Manchester United could do great business yesterday, but they couldn't do more than a draw without goals at home. Boring United.

In the last 10 matches Manchester United as team scored 7 goals. Javier Hernandez on his own scored 11 goals in the last 10 matches  Cheesy
9995  Economy / Auctions / Re: ▓▓▓▓▓▓ Top level 43 Bitcoin related domain names on Auction ▓▓▓▓▓ on: December 06, 2015, 09:47:25 AM
You should not be selling Bitcointalk dot website. Try contacting theymos he might make an offer for your domain.

There is a high chance that it will be used to build a phishing site.

There is a huge difference between bitcointalk.org and bitcointalk.website, as such, these websites are not very useful for phising purposes as people won't fall for it.

9998  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price rise is over on: December 06, 2015, 09:27:52 AM
I have no doubt that if bitcoin traded at mainstream exchanges the volume and price would skyrocket. The float is tiny. Even on these two-bit exchanges in the middle of nowhere run by Joe Gling-Glong the price can move very fast.

Imagine what would happen if big money could invest and not have to worry if the exchange and their funds would still be there the next day.

Big money from institutional investors won't come if the current exchanges are still here. That's why people were hoping the best from Gemini. That exchange would be the difference people were waiting for, and bring these wealthy investors to Bitcoin. So far they are staying far behind with their volume. At the moment their 24H volume is a mere 390BTC.
9999  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in India? Not for a LOOOOONG time. on: December 06, 2015, 09:18:31 AM
This just shows that Bitcoin usage and adoption is nothing more than peanuts right now. If everything is done in a well manner, then Bitcoin will grow to unseen levels. Inda is indeed rising and is even being considered to be a world power at one day by certain economists.
10000  Economy / Economics / Re: Perhaps Bitcoin isn't the currency of ISIS... on: December 05, 2015, 10:42:51 AM
Only idiots connect ISIS with Bitcoin. They would get caught asap if they do, Bitcoin is only pseudo anonymous so secret services would have easy job to track their transactions.

Exactly, I am glad that all of this is unfolding in this direction. Another great article to shatter a connection  of Bitcoin with these animals!

Let's see what the governments will do right now. Will they cancel the restrictions regarding Bitcoin they had in plan? Nope. Will they introduce new policies to make it harder to sell and buy physical gold? Nope. They will do everything to push Bitcoin back to prevent it from growing. They will simply fail. Bitcoin will grow no matter what.
