9981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what fun in GAMBLING? on: July 04, 2016, 11:50:03 AM
Gambling is fun if you accept it as a game, not as a job. That is an entertainment, when job is a serious thing. IMO, gambling as a jobe is a hoax due to entertainment could not be a serious thing. So, gambling is fun due to enjoy from playing (as in any other game), and not in loosing/winning money stuff.
9982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal receiving Bitcoin?! on: July 04, 2016, 11:35:51 AM
May I know the reason why does Paypal do not accept bitcoin as payment and/or deposit?! I know that Bitcoin is known widely on the internet so Paypal should accept it as a mode of payment since their forte is through the internet. I hope that someday, PayPal will acknowledge Bitcoin and put it as one of the mode of payment in their site. It will be very convenient for us.
Here:https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/breaking-paypal-merchants-can-now-accept-bitcoin/
"In September 2014, PayPal announced it would accept Bitcoin via integration with Braintree... Via the PayPal Payment’s Hub merchants could use customizable APIs to integrate Bitcoin into their shops for digital goods. At the time, it released a video hinting at Bitcoin integration."
I didn't really use PayPal much in my life, so I can't really tell, but are you saying they didn't do this thing?
9983  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: July 04, 2016, 11:31:31 AM
My kid wants to make some money.

I never cared much of those easy systems but seems it would work for him.

I gave him 2 faucets but i ALSO remember there was servers/games where one could make Bitcoin [or altcoin] just for playing.

Would you remind ?
I think signature campaigns and solving captcha stuff is the most appropriate
9984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin most important to you? on: July 04, 2016, 11:30:11 AM
I voted for payment, because it is quite easy to make transactions with it on the Internet and pay or get payed for something
9985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When can we buy fried chickens with bitcoin. on: July 04, 2016, 11:26:30 AM
With many theories and probability streaming over the worldwide media, bitcoin was foreseen to be the future legal tender in the international market in the near future. But the question is when will it happen. In the Philipines using a third party company the so-called coins.ph will allow you to pay electric bills, water bills, telecommunications billing. This small event show the potential future of bitcoin as an international legal tender. Soon we buy fired chickens with bitcoin.
I think it may already be possible somewhere. For example, take a look on this website: https://bitdazzle.com/results?q=chicken
They don't have fried chickens here, but they do have some stuff with chicken and other food you can buy with BTC)
As for being able to pay with btc in shops - I think we need about 10 years in developed countries for that
9986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: July 04, 2016, 11:21:36 AM
I see more and more acrticles of bitcoin being used for illegal activities
will this hurt bitcoin in the long run , will governments ban this just like they started to do wih paying in cash for some services
to harden the use of illegal , and money laundering
I hope they won't. I guess it's true it is used a lot in some illegal stuff but IMO it would be unfair to forbid the currency. It is not BTC's fault what it is used for
9987  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do if you suddenly lost all of your bitcoins? on: July 04, 2016, 11:18:43 AM
If I lost all of my btc, I would feel a bit sad for a while and will earn some more, trying to avoid the thing which made me lose them again

9989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: July 04, 2016, 10:45:37 AM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?

i personally think its because not the profit you can make, but when u make some profit indeed-its seems too easy to make money.
You dont have to work,do anything just sit 24/7 in front of desktop and gamble.Easy right? No hard work,no getting tired etc.
Thats why so many ppl are addicted to gambling.Me too Tongue
Agree. But besides that there is also feeling of risky excitement, when you put your money and taking them back with profit. Or you can loose your money, then the same feeling pushes you to win back the money with even more profit. I think that this feeling is a lion's share in gambling addiction.
9990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: July 04, 2016, 10:36:53 AM
If I were rich, I would still gamble for fun as I do it now. Maybe because I would be rich not because of gambling, but of other stuff (some investments as an example). IMO, I don't think that generally anyone can get rich of gambling.
9991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: July 04, 2016, 10:30:23 AM
With any problems of my life regardless of its complexity I'd more likely prefer to fix this stuff with any other (reliable!) source of earnings, just not a gambling.
9992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: July 04, 2016, 07:13:00 AM
The worst mistake in gamling is to play on your money expecting quick and easy profits now. Gambling is a game, it's just an entertainment, not a job.
9993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: July 04, 2016, 06:56:30 AM
Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.
In gambling you only win from the start then you lose whenever you win a certain amount.

Gambling itself isn't a sickness, just like having a beer, smoking cigarettes, drinking coffee, having sex, lifting weights etc. are not sicknesses.

However, if you keep doing it to the point where it ruins your life (whatever it may be), your addictive behavior is a sickness, not gambling itself.

Gambling is just a game that involving money. I don't also think that gambling is considered a sickness. it is depend on a person who is playing it and  you were right that addictive behavior is a sickness.
How someone could invest money in something unstable as a gambling, where everything depends on chance? I don't think that gambling is a sickness, though I do not accept gambling as some sort of investment. That is only a game, just some fun and not a job.
9994  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: July 03, 2016, 06:27:36 PM
I assume that bitcoin will be eventually replaced by another (crypto)currency as always happens with things in history (one man/state/currency replaced the previous one). However, I think that's not so close. Before BTC has to have its peak of glory (don't believe that we already passed it).
9995  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: July 03, 2016, 06:08:54 PM
This campaign is nice, because it pays a few times a day, but I faced one problem I'd like to solve.. The max amount of posts is 20 per day, right? There were two times I made 20 posts and I recieved payment for only 11 and another time (today) for 15 posts. There were also times when I made about 15 posts and recieved payment for 11 as well. Maybe, other ones are not constructive enough (although I have a good post quality http://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/?token=iv33me07).. Maybe, it is just some sort of a mistake.. Can someone tell me what is it?
Thanks in advance

Posts in off topic, local boards and this thread do not count anymore. Another rule not listed in the OP but lost somewhere on one of the pages in this thread.
Oh, I see now. Just didn't know that. Thanks a lot!

Just complete the sentence with your thoughts... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..."
I would sell all my Bitcoins if I could have 1000$+ for each one)
9999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I keep my BTC during the halving? on: July 03, 2016, 03:30:14 PM
I normally leave my BTC in Polo so I can exchange them whenever I want.
During halving I was wondering whether this is advisable, or is better to keep them in cold storage.
What do you think about? Any suggestion?
Thanx to everyone!

What do you and other people mean about BTC halving? Isn't it actually rising in price. And in case of halving, I think you can just keep it where you usually do and wait for it to rise again)

"A woman is a bow and a man is an arrow. A bow is useless without arrows and arrows are a toy without a bow."
"A man differs from a woman in his ability to penetrate into an abyss. A woman differs from a man in that she carries that abyss in herself."
