Any news on Bitcoin Gold hashing algorithm update? They are forking in couple of days and there is still no clear news on that from Coinotron. I don't really want to mine a wrong fork... Also ZEC activates 'Overwinter' in 24hrs or so and all the nodes should be updated to the latest version.

Guys, please add ZEN Cash to your pool. Its one of the most promising Equihash coins atm, has a decent network hashrate (50MH +), trades at Bittrex/Binance and most of the time the most profitable Equihash coin to mine. Here is its cmcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/zencash/

Does coinotron pay ETH mining fees with RBPPS? or only block reward + uncles?

I'm trying to get a number of total fees in the bitcoin mempool (live, in BTC) using python. I was able to connect bitcoinrpc, but stil struggle with commands and a proper way of acquiring the number. One way of doing this would be to get information on all unconfirmed transactions in the bitcoin mempool and sum their fees, however running the code below returns me an empty list. from bitcoinrpc.authproxy import AuthServiceProxy, JSONRPCException
rpc_user = 'xxx' rpc_password = 'xxx' rpc_connection = AuthServiceProxy("http://%s:%s@127.0.0.1:8332"%(rpc_user, rpc_password))
transactions = rpc_connection.listtransactions("*")

I've been mining BTG and ZEC on cointron for quite some time. I love it! Easily the most fair and stable pool there is! Any plans on adding more Equihash coins? It seems that ZCL and ZEN are getting pretty big right now.

Its funny that zpool steals 15% even if you dont exchange your coins. I was trying to mine Bulwardk (BWK) there today, didn't want to get robbed by zpools' exchange rates so decided to get paid in BWK. The pool found a block my last 50 earnings tab shows: Name Amount Percent mBTC Time Bulwark (nist5) 0.144400 BWK 0.385% 0.08421262 70m ago But Total Earned tab shows: 0.12669564 BWK Why do people still use this pool?

Hi,
ETA on when Electroneum wallet will be up again?
|
|

TheKoziTwo, exactly the same thing happened with me today (same IP address)! I exchanged BTG and withdrew my BTC two days ago, so no money was stolen... But it seems that HitBtc security systems have a major hole in them or someone within HitBtc is stealing customers money!

Hi,
Recently I've been comparing my own calculations with WTM and they are always slightly different! I'm trying to figure out whether I made a mistake somewhere in my calculations or WTM Calculator is wrong.
Example from Decred (DCR) Coin page:
My hash rate: 1000000000000 h/s (1 TH/s) Network difficulty: 19,486,988.241 2^32: 4294967296 Seconds in one day: 86400 Block Reward: 14.3077
My Calculations:
Time to find one block = Difficulty*2^32/My hash rate = 19,486,988.241*4294967296/1000000000000 = 83695.9771926 (seconds)
Blocks per day = 86400/83695977.19 = 1,0323077
Coins per day (Daily Est. Rewards) = 0.001032308*14.3077 = 14.7699486 DCR coins
Using the same inputs WTM Calculator shows Daily Est. Rewards = 14.715472 DCR Coins
I know that the difference is very small, but would like to still figure out who is wrong here.

Guys, how can I calculate average time to find a block for Decred (formula), knowing difficulty and my hash rate? Is it Difficulty*2^32/My Hashrate?

Hey guys! Is there a Zen Explorer with an easy to use API?

Hi guys!
Decred pool uses Proportional or PPLNS payments structure? Main page says that its PPLS but Terms and Conditions say its Proportional.

Guys,
Is there a reliable Lyra2Rev2 pool for Verge? Also I wasn't able to find a block explorer that shows which algorithm mined the most recent block and what the difficulty was.

Hi, i'm looking for solid/proportional pool for LBRY. All of the pools i've found use PPLNS payout mechanism. "About" section of Supnova pool says that distributions are proportional, i believe that this information is outdated and not correct. Any other real proportional pool suggestions?

Hi everyone,
Miners provide fastest and latest block information (block number and difficulty). Is there a way to run a miner software without actually mining (not using GPU), but being able to see latest block information at the same time?

Hey guys!
I would like to get a formula for profitability of mining Signatum (my expected reward per block).
Assume that we know:
HR - my hash rate NHR - network hash rate BR - block reward (Signatum price * number of Signatum coins rewarded per block) DF - difficulty
Here on the forums I've found formulas for other coins:
Bitcoin : userHash/(difficulty*(2^32))*blockReward*3600*1000000000(hashFactor) ETH: (userHash/difficulty)*blockReward*3600*hashFactor Zcash: userHash/((difficulty)*solsPerDiff)*blockReward*3600*hashFactor (sollsPerDiff = 8192) Monero: userHash/(difficulty*1e9)*blockReward*3600
Anyone knows how this formula looks for Signatum?

Your bonus structure at pre-ico seems weird. You plan to collect $2,000,000 and give away around $6,000,000 worth of ACT tokens. Lets assume that after the platform is active and all the token holders will decide to use them (somewhat) right away. How do you plan to cover missing $4,000,000?
Hi @kroonike. Please check out this post. Especially "Step 1". Please PM me for a deeper brainstorm In step #1 you claim that "Initial price — $0.00133939 (this is based on the above arbitrary values)", which comes from $11,050,000/8,250,000,000. Why do you use implied amount in the numerator, when you only collected $6,000,000 ? Its not like $6 million will magically become $11 million, what am I missing here?

Hello!
Let's say I want to invest into a specific ICO during a crowdfunding stage. How can I be sure that after the crowdfunding stage is finished, there will be a market for my tokens on one of the exchanges and I will be able to liquidate my position or add to it? Does exchange itself decide if they want to add specific asset or token?
