3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Why AntPool is mining empty blocks?! on: August 25, 2017, 09:57:25 AM
Some of the blocks mined by AntPool are actually empty. Others are very small < 700kb... Any idea why?

IOTA also looks like a good invest. They had a hard drop recently but the project looks promising and it could be a good time to buy low.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum Trading also stop on August 1? on: July 24, 2017, 10:33:32 PM
Neither ETH nor USDT are related to BTC in any direct technical fashion.
If an exchange does not stop trading in general (why should they?) those two won't be affected.

What cryptocurrency news sites would you say are serious and "trustworthy"?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Margin Trading ... EXPLAIN like am 10yr old on: May 25, 2017, 08:59:06 PM
1. you borrow stuff you dont own so you can trade with it, giving a collateral.

2. if your "investmet" is going the wrong way, bank or exchange will liquidate you, selling you assets at the time they are worth what you borrowed, so the lenders dont lose anything, but you lose all.

 Thanks Medusa,

Need some clarification on No 2  (or someone else can pls help) :
How Wrong does it go before investment is liquidated? A little wrong movement can't just get your investment liquidated, right?

Depends on the leverage.
If your leverage is very high, then yes ... little movement in the wrong direction and you are out.

5. Can Margin Trading be possible on a $50 dollar account.

Definitely possible with $50, just on a small scale. You could buy, let's say Bitcoin, and margin trade it on Poloniex, also one of the biggest exchanges, currently it is relatively slow though.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency trading vs "real money" trading - What are you missing? on: May 17, 2017, 10:27:04 PM
Thanks for the feedback. Are there any special tools or services you use for trading cc, or are you just using the web panels?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cryptocurrency trading vs "real money" trading - What are you missing? on: May 16, 2017, 05:15:26 PM
This is my first post, so ... Hi  Wink.

Coming from the world of "real money" trading, I was wondering what are the things you guys miss the most.
Which tools, concepts or financial products(bonds, futures, ...) are still not present, even though those two topics are very similar from the market perspective.
Or, on the other hand, what do you never want to miss again?
