Did someone get the MCO card correctly? Are they sending to the whole world? Unfortunately non-European cards are being canceled on multiple platforms, if MCO shows a different option from competitors, prices could rise even higher.
Officially , yet to be sent out. Unsure abt the Beta units though. Cards will only be offered after the following listings. Singapore will be the 1st country to receive it During pre-order for cards they didn't ask which country we are residing in so how will they know where to send out cards? When the card is ready to ship, we will ask you to update the app and provide us with the shipping address. |

Hi all. I've just started posting on steemit, and decided to make an article about Monaco! For most people that is now out of the question even at the lower MCO prices - so we'll leave that to the side for simplicity. How much were MCO ICO initial price? $1+USD? If I am not mistaken, the ICO price of Monaco token is 1 MCO = 2.88 USD. You can try to read again the price in whitepaper or other reports after crowdsale in medium blog. My memory is not good  . Wished the MCO tokens required for locked up in order to receive the next tier of card would be more dynamic pricing. The ruby card for example would require $325USD currently (at the rate of 6.5) while only $144USD previously. Really? I thought that was still quite cheap and a pretty good deal. I mean an American express card you pay around 100 to 150 per year for. A visa is between 75 to 180 depending on which card you get. The Monaco card outdoes these cards in terms of features. But the biggest catch is.. you lock the tokens up for 6 months. Then you get them back. With a normal visa or American express card you pay an annual fee every year. And don't get that money back. Besides I'm sure it'll get more expensive. And it should. Once they prove themselves as a top tier player they can afford to charge top dollar. But hey if you don't like it you don't have to get one. Or just get a blue card. I remember some time after app release they featured Ruby Steel card with its approximate cost of USD 800. Now, they probably have removed this price (haven't this for a while) but still I think that is the price they consider acceptable for this type of card. Ruby Steel requires a deposit of 50 MCO - this hasn't changed since the cards were revealed. Also, please remember that it's a 6-month deposit, not payment. |

What is the utility for MCO? if the card can be fund with ETH and BTC, why people should buy MCO?
you receive dividends dividends of what? and where? well, supposedly, the profits made by monaco is distributed to MCO holders proportionally. Profits made from the usage of the card. So you'll have to wait until September before these profits start coming in, that's when the card and the app are released. That's not quite correct. Crypto transactions (swipe and exchange) will bear a 1% transaction fee. The fee (all of it) will accrue in the Asset Contract. The more crypto transactions people make, the more value accrues in the contract. MCO token holders will be able to receive part of the value (proportionate to their MCO holding) by sending the token to the Asset Contract, and receiving ETH in return (it's described in more detail in the whitepaper). |

Okay , so i don't get one thing , Does this Card will need ID verification and address verification? As on the site it clearly says it's unlimited and no ver requried, but in the card limits there is written whole other thing that you need to verify id and address... There will be different KYC levels and depending on those, there will be different limits on the cards. |

I thought there are other bitcoin cards already exists.

Prepaid debit card. The biggest difference is the perfect interbank exchange rates. |

Anyone knows when will they release their card??? I couldn't find a proper timeline of their future activities on their website

We are on schedule with the product. App to be released on Aug 31, cards will start shipping in September.
Both Black and Red cards will be free of charge.
We're in the process of becoming Visa program manager. Compliance is key, so the process takes time.

Bounties finally redistributed. Now, massive sale and price drop come.  Chance to buy more cheap MCOs exactly.. I think a good price to buy should be around 0,8$-1$ when the cap will be around 10M $ And upon what you base your claims? Or you would like to buy them cheaper as you can get? Believe me majority of us would like the same but we don't spread fud around. Also i don't see that bounties causing this because they are not delivered. I also don't see price will come to $1 only if btc goes down than mco may get cheaper but for now possibility of both are negligible. Cards delivery is postponed of 1 mounth (31 august), you think this news will not influence the price this 2 mounth? This will cause in the short term a bad price drop, this is not the best way to start the ico Nothing is postponed. App is still scheduled to launch on Aug 31, just as it was right from the start. Yes, detailed breakdown of the token pools is in the whitepaper. We modelled our Token pool structure on VC-backed companies doing IPOs. 30% went to the public, 30% is kept by the company as capital reserve for future fundraising. 25% is for the team, 10% is for future hires as a talent pool and 5% is for advisors. The reality is that building a large scale consumer brand in financial services requires world class talent, a lot of capital, time and luck. The way we structured the Token pools increases our chances of building a global business with millions of customers, who will transact billions of dollars on the platform, driving the price of MCO up for all Token holders. Back of the envelope calculation: assuming a very low of acquired CAC (customer acquisition cost) of US$30, it will cost US$150m to reach 5m customers. That's just direct cost. On top of that there is a lot of infrastructure that needs to be built to serve this kind of number of customers. It can't be done with 20 devs and no other headcount. Risk & Compliance, customer support, product, tech, marketing, finance - we're building a business and not just launching a coin. Above all, you have to remember that with this setup founding team incentives are 100% aligned with all Token holders - we all want to see Monaco at a billion dollar market cap. This is when we all win and this is what we are working towards. |

It's up to LiveCoin Team, actually, not us. You can see the token is listed there already. This is really frustrating, I'm missing on low price to buy in a little more of MCO. How is it up to them? Didn't they give any official date? It's up to them, because they own it - they need to enable the trades. Last update was live by Wednesday, which is today. Most exchanges are currently swamped with new coins being added and have backlogs. |

The total supply on coinmarketcap is 10 million, but in the etherscan.io site is 31 million. What is the truth 10 million or 31 million?
Circulating Supply 9,665,287 MCO Total Supply 31,587,682 MCO The ico sell was only 1/3rd as far as I know. They hold lot of MCO and they are selling them on bittrex.. look at the live trades... Anyone, whenever the price rises, sells 2-3btc of mco per time... MCO founder and his team are selling mco on bittrex, that's why the price is going down. I don't think investors sell tokens for no-profit. lol Founder's pool is in lockup. |
