Those are very nice words and great outlook, I agree that there's a lot of potential for Lykke in the future if it keeps its steady growth. Now, please don't think forums like this are not important, core team members are not usually around to reply to every single message but they are well aware when an issue is raised or there's a good vibe or positive feedback in the community. There's a lot of activity on Slack and Reddit with users sending feedback and suggestions on how to improve the app for example.
Lykke aims to be an open company and while it's not logical or efficient for them to lose time on every single critic or comment, that doesn't mean they don't value that information and take it into consideration.
I agree to you. The thing is that they have a slack which is pretty active and lot of people on the slack have questioned some of the things there. Richard himself posts on the slack often.
There could be an issue or two I am sure. Lykke is still in very early stages. Building giants takes years.
Richard Orsen could be manipulating stuff for his personal benefit, but by doing so he would be staking his reputation forever. you could argue that most people dont care about reputation as long as they are benefitted.
I think you are right that I was a little harsh on bitcointalk, and these forums do play a very important role too in getting us to meet and talk.
What is also important is that most people here are with very short term vision. (and rightly so, companies and founders are not our friends/ relatives)
so anything with flaws/ bugs are admonished.
Lykke is one of the many of those promises. I have bought into their promise even at such high valuations.
By that logic, even bitcoin and ethereum valuations could look like empty promises to many people (specialy those outside this world and even many who were once mining but have now stopped doing so)
