Would you be willing to go down to $350 for a 1080ti, or $250 for a 1080? This is a more realistic price point for miners that are looking to get involved in purchasing from you. I want to be able to ROI with my gear, so this is where I'll have to put my stake in the sand. I'm not too interested in water-cooled gear. I am not trying to frustrate or low-ball, I am simply trying to get myself a deal that makes it worth it to purchase.

It's understandable. I'm selling them on ebay after fees lowest I've gotten is $450.

So if I can help someone by saving the ebay fees, cool. If someone doesn't want them under market that's cool too. But as far as $350 I'll pass and keep selling them on eBay.

10 6 Watercooled Corsair 1080Ti's $600 each

Would you consider postage to Australia?
If so, can you please quote postage to Australia for 1x Watercooled Corsair 1080ti
Do you accept escrow?
Do you accept payment in BTC?

Thanks.

Hey there martyroz!

I'm not sure if there is a flat rate box that would fit - the cheapest largest flat rate box cost $36.25 but it's only 9-1/4" x 6-1/4" x 2" so i don't think a card would fit - the next size up is $78.95

I would only charge ACTUAL shipping cost - nothing padded or added.

thanks for the info. Still just debating about spending money on more GPUs or not getting yelled at by the wife..

You know you're going to get yelled at by the wife for something else, might as well make the yelling count! Smiley

5 brand new 8 slot boards $100 OBO version 1's I think I never used them. About 6mo old just sitting on the shelf.

I suggest you grab everything now. Also have all the CPU's ssd's ram MoBos etc. Just make an offer. I probably won't refuse. Don't really want to deal with the hassle of listing it all. But once I do the prices will be market prices since I'll actually have to work lol.

Do you know what brand of motherboards that you have?  I might be interested in a couple with CPUs/RAM/SSD if I know what kind they are.

Thanks for your time.

CreativeReef

Gigabyte Z270P-D3
TUFZ270 Mark 2
ASUS Prime Z270-A

CPUs are all G4400's and I might have a couple Ryzen 7's left over - a friend is snagging either all of them or just 7.

SSD's range from 128GB to 1TB and RAM is just mostly Crucial 4gb sticks.

Updated OP with a couple pics

10 Watercooled Corsair 1080Ti's $650 each
6 Asus 1070 350 OBO

5 brand new 8 slot boards $150 OBO version 1's I think I never used them. About 6mo old just sitting on the shelf.

Cards used for about a year some less. No problems no issues.

You can pay for a middle many no problem with that.

Don't have pics yet, that's why everything isn't on ebay yet. Once I do get around to going over to my warehouse and taking pics everything will be up on ebay.

what state or country do you live in, curious about shipping costs should I decide to buy anything..

I'm in Los Angeles California - updating OP thanks for asking.

I won't stop mining, i love it, it's fun all ways has been. it's a hobby i don't all ways turn on all my stuff, some days i don't run any thing.

it gives me some thing to do that pays something,I'm not in it for the money or ROI . I do hold most coins i mine because maybe one day, I'll need it, other wise it's all fun . I'm also retired with a disability, so i need some thing to do besides play wow and take care of mom who has dementia.

I keep adding to my GPU rigs,an buy old ASIC like D3 etc use them up,despite the down time we see now in coin prices, plus I'm on solar .

I think there's like 200 people on here who would sell you old ASICs. I have a few I was about to list on ebay, actually. Start a "wanted" thread in the marketplace if you're looking, you'll get tons of bites...

(or PM me if you want a list, it's rather short Wink )

I've got my stuff listed in the marketplace. 50 1080ti's 1070's 1070ti's and 1080 along with all the rigs if you want them hit me up. Smiley

Sometimes you get complacent when you become the big dog. No longer hungry. No longer innovating. Bitmain is raking in so much they just stopped innovating. With things the way they are, they might ease out of their slumber and try to cobble something together. Who knows.

phil - help me here with some 100 level economics.  Btc price right now is less than 7k.  If one believes that btc will be worth $xx,xxx.xx a coin in the future, isnt there value in mining at a "loss" now, to acquire btc?  This is something i often find myself thinking about.  It's a like a tug of war in my mind.

Complex question.

Selling gear say an older s9 for 500 in btc.

Or mining at a loss.

I would say sell the gear.

How long does it take to earn that?

About 110 days to earn .071 btc.

If you sell the s9 for 500 you have the btc today.

I constantly hedge cash coin gear.

And try to get more solar done.

And in that regard, I have two MSI 1080 Ti hybrids, water cooled, with Corsair maglev fans (white LEDs) that I want to sell.  $715 for one, incl. shipping within the US, or $1400 for both.  PM me if interested.  Both are working fine.  Can take PayPal, Bitcoin, or Ether.

those are  similar to this one

https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Graphics-Cards/Hydro-GFX-GTX-1080-Ti-Liquid-Cooled-Graphics-Card/p/CB-9060011-WW

this is what you most likely have

https://us.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-GTX-1080-Ti-SEA-HAWK-X

both of the above are like this one.

https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=11G-P4-6598-KR

now at one time or the other I have owned all of the above

they are all dead solid cards true troopers

set them to 200 watts each and run them.

I have a pair of them mining here
as a pair they due 4400
 a pair of normal 1080tis do 3900

How do you like eggpool?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Buy GTX 1080ti or wait for GTX 1180 or any other suggestions? on: May 29, 2018, 02:09:22 AM
Kind of hard to answer when nobody knows release date etc - if you want to get into mining, just weigh the pros and cons.

I like the new direction of the thread. I'll always be tinkering even if it's just a rig to play with.

i missed out on rvn.

sold off most the equipment so now my warehouse is pretty empty lol. down to my last 50 GPU's not sure if I'm going to gut it down even more.

guess time will tell. keep up the good work guys.

I’m looking to host some l3’s out there if you wanna sublet space.

I definitely do not want to be responsible for anyone else's equipment. I already gotta worry about my own hardware, good thing is none of the wanna be gangbangers on the block even know what Uber Eats is, true story - they thought we were drug dealers that moved in because we had uber eats rolling up every day dropping "bags" out the window of cars driving up lol. Idiots, and to top it off, you a gangbanger piece of shit, why are you trying to snitch?!?!

@ storx I am good  really good with cc's

but you are better.

I am 820 rating.

I earn a few thousand a year in

cc rebates
ebay ebucks
mr rebates
ebates
bing searching.

My first 22 years of cc use I never paid interest no 1 penny 1 time.

I have now paid about 1000 in fees and interest after 35 years of cc use.

I estimate 2 x 32 = 64k in pay backs.

Oh coupons at supermarket I was very extreme.

A minimum of 20 or 30k . 1986 to 2018

all told close to 100k  in 32 years.

Ya to most people, they think credit cards are bad and they use them in the wrong way, the purchase stuff on them that they dont currently have the money to payoff within a month, so it sits there and collects interest every month.

Me personally i live my life thinking, if im doing something and i cant already use a credit card to reduce the cost of it, then i need to find one and add it to my arsenal.

I would say using credit cards smartly reduces my overall expenses by 28-30% every year in most cases. lately with all the large expenses, ive been declined from signing up for multiple high rewards cards in a single year, but usually when i cancel them a month or 2 later they are welcome to offer me the same deal back or possibly a better one. Because i use so many credit cards, i get like 200 letters a month in my mailbox trying to talk me into signing up for such and such credit card, its gotten a little out of hand really on the amount of credit card offers i get these days...its almost as if these companies are begging me to take their money from them lol....

Lets just do the math, based off the latest statistics from the government, in 2017, the average family in USA spent $63,784 on bills for the year...

If they were smart enough to use credit cards wisely, they could have reduced that by 20-30% from rewards and credits....

20% thats $12,756.80
or
30% thats $19,135.20

Just using credit cards wisely, thats like getting a promotion for an extra $19,000+ a year... instead they just throw it away and overwhelm themselves with stuff they purchased for nearly full price.

I do have to admit, i miss the days of using ebay bucks, it seems they kinda gone to the wayside with mining popularity...

Coupons, i rarely use them anymore, i just find them to time consuming to deal with these days and just deal with the cash back on my credit card. I have a pretty set life on things i eat, so if i so happen to see one for something i regularly eat i use it, but i stopped doing extreme couponing, because i found myself spending more in the long run on a bunch of stuff i would possibly never use that just sits on a shelf in my house and collects dust.

A while back i made the point of over a few months i made meals with everything i had saved up in my cabinets and pantry i bought from my days of extreme coupon shopping, i was amazed i was able to eat from all these things i had sitting around for nearly 3 months before i finally ran out of food. Many of them i ended up throwing away because the best by dates were a few years old... just wasted money on food i thought i would eat and never did...

I remember buying 20-30k a day in visa gift cards then cashing them all in all using 5% rewards cards. so much money back then. People thought I was laundering money lol. Love CC rewards and using them to the max. love love love. The good old days are gone but there's still a lot of good that comes from them!

That's really awesome storx i was thinking about water cooling everything so much better than fans.

in the end i started dismantling and selling off everything though now my warehouse only has 10 rigs, have to decide to buy more gear or end the lease lol.

these servers look really fun to play with though so maybe... but i don't know. decisions decisions.

I bet you most
Of us had these at some point.

Still puts out after 5 years
hahaha yes have 1 of those and 1 in 450w lol

I've never owned a CM series and don't plan to ever do so.
I DID get a couple of the "refurb" AX 860 that Newegg had on sale last week though - first "Corsair" power supplies I've owned in decades - but only because they've been widely reported to be Seasonic KM3 under the hood like the SS-860 or X-850 supplies I own (but different pinout on at least some of the modular cables for some weird unknowable outside of Corsair reason).

I got them almost free after rebate like 5-10 years ago. was actually the first psu's i ever bought.
