1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: sell bitcoin to buy fiat or altcoin? on: February 07, 2020, 03:28:39 AM
I'd rather to choose to sell btc to stablecoin like usdt, much safer and low risk of low fluctuation.
But you are never going to make money that way, if you want to do that then just keep your fiat and be happy with it, if you are going to invest in this market then you need to select between bitcoin or some altcoins, if you are going to choose to invest in stable coins only do that when you are completely sure the price of all the market is going down as it did in 2018, that is the only moment in which you are justified to invest in those coins.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins not Growing These Days on: February 07, 2020, 02:42:15 AM
This is not a problem of a lack of investors, but because some people do not want to enter the market due to unstable price conditions. The crypto market in 2020 will be bright. Everyone certainly agrees with this. The price of Bitcoin will go up and be followed by several potential altcoins.

Some investors are afraid to invest because of the scam that mostly happened before. A lot of them have lost their money because they have not researched the project where they invested and just go with the flow because cryptocurrency was the latest trend to earn good profit before in 2016 and 2017. I'm glad this year the investors have slowly comint back to the market after they learned how to properly manage their investments.
That is one of the many problems with the market of altcoins, it seems a new altcoin season is on the door and that could be great for people like us but at the same time it is still not a definitive thing, we need to see how the price of bitcoin and ethereum performs during the next days and if we do not see an important growth it is likely the whales could short the market and make the price to drop really quickly I know not many people believe this is possible but it has happened in the past many times.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: February 07, 2020, 02:14:12 AM
At the primary stage, i read some crypto trading article these are very helpful to know basic learning. When i started trading since 2017. Videos regarding crypto signal was significantly to help to involved in the trading platform.

Most of the traders following video guide, because you have great opportunity to learn trade very deeply. All of trading strategy easily can find out.

That is interesting, I first started trading not necessarily because I wanted to make money, I enjoyed the challenge of competing against other people and trying to beat them, for a long time I tried to find a strategy that was good enough to make profits in the long term and I found it after many months of study and I am putting to test right now and I have been getting decent results with it, I hope the current increase in the price will help me to make even more money.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My wish for bounty projects that seem impossible on: February 07, 2020, 01:53:06 AM
This is just a wish, I hoped for it and asked around but yet it seem impossible, the best thing in ever wished for on this forum is bounty projects should start paying in bitcoin or stable coins to bounty hunters, doing this will avoid dumping their tokens buh .... I guess its not going to work since most new projects have no money to do so. they are better off paying hunters in their very own token, damn!
Never going to happen, most projects are scams and they do not want to spend a single satoshi paying people to promote their project, if they did that most likely they will lose money and that is not what they want, if you do not like this situation I suggest you that you stop being a bounty hunter because this is never going to change as long as people keep investing in those useless projects that have nothing to show for to their potential investors.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales keep getting richer and richer while everybody else is losing... on: February 07, 2020, 01:30:16 AM
I like this, we all want to make money while sleeping or having a pillow. Good for those who are rich who doesn't need to work but for like me and the others we need to strive for the best to secure our future. For the whales they're always making money in this game most of the time.

And you believe that a rich person will not work?

A lot of people will not believe that even if the rich people themselves. There is no way that you will earn money without having a job. Investing and waiting for a profit in time? That is job, holding a stock, that is a job. I heard in the past that there is no way that a person can earn money without having a job, legal or illegal.
That is a false belief that many people have, they think those that are rich do not need to work when that is completely false the one that is rich most likely got there by working really hard at it and spending many nights without sleep thinking about what he could do to improve himself or his business and until people have that kind of mindset then most people are never going to get to that level of wealth which is a shame.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's over $9000! on: January 30, 2020, 03:01:51 AM
Usually meme like that surfaces when we hit or break psychological price barriers, like $9k.

Most of the time it's hilarious seeing people getting excited, but the thing to remember is that we should look if the price are going to be sustainable so that meme can hold, Lol. What if the price suddenly goes back to $8200-$8500?  Smiley

But yes, we're glad that it's back to $9k but let's see how it will pan out in the next 24 hours or at least if it will hold this week.
That is by far the most important thing, the volatility of bitcoin has been going up during the last days but now it seems we have hit the top of the current growth and if this is the case then the price will go down, and if the price cannot remain above 9000 then most likely we are going to see a little bit of FUD going on and if people buy that FUD we may go back to 8000 even if that does not seem to be very likely at the moment.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will any new project will do payment with ETH ? on: January 30, 2020, 02:36:10 AM
Do not know if it makes sense for projects. Everybody is struggling to collect a soft cap nowadays, reducing all the caps for bounty hunters. I can hardly imagine a new project that is going to pay from their ICO/IEO money to bounty hunters.
And in return as those projects keep scamming bounty hunters or they reduce their pay after the fact or they change the rules at the end of the campaign we are seeing that bounty hunters are not really interested in participating in those campaigns, and what are they going to do to get such a free advertising? Also many of those that promoted those icos not only invested their time in those icos they also invested their money in them and now that is no longer the case anymore.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR 6 YEARS on: January 30, 2020, 02:15:08 AM
Many people regretted spending their Bitcoin because, they don't know that it would become a high value asset in the present. Like my friend, who have a couple of Bitcoin years ago and have spent it on buying online products losing his asset that would have make him wealthy in the present. Maybe years from now, if people would not have hold Bitcoin, maybe they would again regret selling it instead of holding. Investing in Bitcoin is good and also risky but, we should trust it and whatever might happen, keep it, because I think Bitcoin has a lot of potential in the future.
But it was because of people like your friend that bitcoin reached the place where it is today, we cannot hoard our bitcoin forever or it is never going to become a currency that is actually used through the world and if that does not happens then we are never going to see bitcoin reaching the high prices that everyone wants, as you can see we are in a very interesting position, we need that people use bitcoin but they do not want to do it because they do not want to miss that growth but if they do not spend it then that growth will never come.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market being manipulated in 2020? on: January 30, 2020, 01:49:24 AM
Trading ERC-20 tokens at this time in my opinion is still safe as long as you are not trapped by garbage tokens originating from there, oh yes, some tokens that came from there have been many who have switched and started using other platforms and also some of them make their own mainnet and in my opinion, instead of staying focused on ERC-20 why don't you try the tokens from mainnet that are just circulating? because this is very interesting.

There are thousands of ERC-20 tokens right now and searching for tokens that are suitable for investment would be like looking for a needle in the haystack. In the past, I had invested in several of the ERC-20 tokens, including TMT (Traxia Membership Token), WPPTOKEN, REPME, Mozo Token, and BitScreener. But none of them gave positive returns. IMO, it doesn't matter in which platform the token is being traded. All it matters is the viability and continued development.
There was a time in which people were really excited about investing in all kind of coins since many thought those coins were going to be the future of the market but we know now that is not going to happen, the future belongs to bitcoin and other coins like ethereum, any new coin that wants to compete will have to deal with the first mover advantage that other coins have and that at this point it seems impossible to reverse, as such it is better to save your money since there is no point in investing in those coins anymore.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Question about inflation and debt. on: January 26, 2020, 03:02:54 AM
If a random country is in debt, is printing money a good way to pay it off at the expense of the citizens?

For example, lets say you owe an entity $100. If you print an extra $100 bill you pay off your debt, but unbeknownst to the entity the $100 that they lent you is now worth less.

Would the barter system be a good way of combating this?
Unless there is a world war we are not going back to the barter system, what a country is doing by printing currency like that to pay their debts is the equivalent of fraud, they were lent a certain amount of money that at the time bought a certain amount of goods and now they are repaying their debt with money that is worth a lot less, and by doing this they are stealing from all the people that have worked hard to make the economy of the country a success.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: January 26, 2020, 02:35:14 AM
Best way to HODL is buying in cheap and wait until it goes up it's value since if you can buy back once it goes down then it is good deal. But it will really depend on what you are buying if its BTC then it is good for long term but if its an altcoin then you may need to be aware that it could take months before the value it pump up even those top ranked altcoins we cannot make sure if the value will rise up.

That's why we need to make a research and analyzing and making prediction could help you be positive and not affect for those FOMOs and FUDs circulating in social media and forums.
Very few people are going to be effective holders precisely because of this, they let themselves be dominated by FOMO or FUD, and instead of holding their coins as they should they begin to sell them in the case of FUD or they buy them in the case of FOMO and then they wonder why they do not seem to make any money in the markets, if you are going to be a long term holder then you need to keep your coins no matter what happens and until you can do that then you will never obtain any profits as a long term holder.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie looking for some strategic advice on: January 26, 2020, 02:15:07 AM
I think you should have done short term trading well first. Because traders are a pretty interesting job, it helps you train discipline and better understand the market than anyone. It forces you to learn more and requires more of your individual virtues. Therefore, the short-term trade is really necessary for newbie, because later you have long-term investment, you also choose a good time to buy and to make the least loss. absolutely do not trade margin, you will only get bad results, just trade normally.
Short term trading is not for newbies, it is not even for traders with some experience, only the traders that have shown through the years that have a way to earn money should day trade the markets, everyone else should just stay away from it, I know that it is very tempting to try to make money in that way but it is not worth it you are never going to make money as a day trader if you are a newbie, expert traders are going to destroy you and take all your capital in a few months if you make the mistake of trying to go against them with so little experience.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bot trading domination: Time to panic? on: January 26, 2020, 01:51:39 AM
There is nothing to panic about the bots dominating the market because as long as you know how to read the candlestick chart and you know how to read the patterns and interpret them into a decision making factor then you will be all good in the field. Bots are created because they have strategy in their mind and that is what you should also do, you should have a strategy in your mind and execute it manually so you will be more skillful than them.
Bots may not be smarter than the smartest and best traders but when they can look at hundreds of indicators and look for patterns that no human will ever find then they are way better than most traders and if you are a day trader then you should be definitely be afraid of them, they can take decisions in a matter of seconds that will take a lot more time to a human so they can be many times more effective than most traders and that is really important in a market that has such a huge volatility like this one.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: January 26, 2020, 01:29:33 AM
Actually, I'm holding and trading, can you believe it? My strategy is to deposit 1 bitcoin into Binance and start trading with alts. Then when it is profitable I will sell alts to increase the number of Bitcoin. That's the way I hold in the bear market and is showing signs of reversal. I have accumulated 1.6 Bitcoin since the start of trading in September 2019. This is one of the ways to help me maximize profits if we have knowledge of Technical Analysis.
It is a very good strategy and you deserve to receive my compliments because it is very difficult to make a profit in this market. In fact, a lot of investors with poor sentiment are often very worried when the market turns red and that is the main reason why they do not keep their calm when investing. I think current market is getting better and if you can maintain this investment then you will be very successful.

Personally, I'm not good at trading but very good on long term investment because I always know the good time to buy and sell when the profits are high.

His strategy to increase his Bitcoins is very risky! I just hold my Bitcoins, I increase them with money I earn from my job, and from
my interest in different signature and bounty campaigns. Trading is too risky, I do trade but with some coins I got from bounty campaigns.
Even if I lose them I will not care much, but my Bitcoins stay intact.
We all have ways for increasing our holding. I choose less risky approach and it's for a long-term much better option!
Trading without a doubt is more risky but it is also more profitable, even if the value in bitcoin of your holdings goes up you are still holding the same amount of bitcoin, the great advantage of trading is that allows you to multiply your bitcoin and that is very important, look if you already have all the bitcoin that you need then you do not need to take the risk but for someone that is still looking to get more bitcoin then trading is the only choice.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects? on: January 25, 2020, 03:01:29 AM
to be honest in my opinion avoiding fraudulent projects is very difficult. although we have thoroughly researched the road map, whitepapaer and also the team and its managers. sometimes we also remain deceived because fraudsters always have new ways to cheat and are smart at making projects look good. so I think cryptocurrency prone to scammers is a risk we must accept when investing and working in cryptocurrency.
I disagree, avoiding scams projects is really easy, do not invest in icos or ieos, do not invest in coins with less than two years in the market and do not invest in coins outside the top 20, if you do that then you are protecting yourself of almost all the scam coins in the market, you are going to miss some opportunities to make money but that is better than to lose your money, you need to forget about what other traders are making and concentrate only on the money that you can make with your skills.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going beyond $14,000 before May, history repeating itself on: January 25, 2020, 02:36:41 AM
Of course that is possible but just like other speculation, there's no assurance, it could happen or maybe not. If you will think, $14k is achievable within that time span before halving but, as you can see base on current situation there's no continues rise. Situation like this could possibly happen again along the way that could interrupt our interest in reaching $14k before halving. Btc is capable of increasing big in a short period of time but we don't know when it's going to happen.
14k before the halving does not seem possible to me, when the price reached 14k during last year that was a great surprise, no one was expecting that the price will go so high and that is why it happened, now that everyone is expecting the market to go up I do not believe it will happen, the whales are not going to allow that everyone makes money except themselves and if they have to manipulate the market to get their way then they are going to do it, and they will force the price to go down and make a lot of people to lose money as result of this move.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has the crypto market reached its bottom yet? on: January 25, 2020, 02:15:17 AM
Market has already hit its bottom last year, half of this year will be the recovering and rest will be exciting. Im seeing 1trillion marketcap on the last month of the year. Another unstopable bull run will happened after the halving.
You do not really have a way to know that, while it is possible we have already reached the bottom it is still not a sure thing, there are many traders that are waiting for the price of bitcoin to go even lower and I think they have some good points about why they believe this may be the case, the only way we are going to find out if you are right is to let the market move for some more weeks and see if the price of bitcoin can go up and surpass 9000 during that time, if it happens then most likely we already reached the bottom but if it does not then we may still get another bottom.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any further forecast? on: January 25, 2020, 01:43:20 AM
in my opinion this is just an ordinary price increase and has nothing to do with the bull. today I look at the market and it seems that bitcoin has lost its impetus to break through $ 9k, and it is likely that the price of bitcoin will drop again to the initial price of around $ 7k.
Today bitcoin has surpassed $ 9,000, but unfortunately this is a very stiff resistance area and bitcoin cannot sustain at this price, the price quickly went down to $ 8800 again. But I believe the bitcoin price will go up again and break it. There are not too many chances for bitcoin to fall below $ 7000 this year, halving has come very close and certainly in the near future there will be a lot of fomo investors entering this market.
Since then the price has still gone down a little bit more, and we are at a point in which it is not very easy to predict what the price will do, there are still many bearish signals that may point towards a further decrease in the price, but as we know the price of bitcoin is unpredictable and it could easily move up 500 or even 600 dollars in a matter of hours and surpass that limit that the bears are defending at 9000, and if the bulls can do it then most likely a growth to 10000 will be possible.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright claims , today will be the last day for Bitcoins. on: January 25, 2020, 01:15:45 AM
...

Recently I was reading in another thread that faketoshi saying he can’t access his 1.1 million btc as courier will be reaching along with private keys very soon may be later this month. This guy for sure is mixing shame with fame.

That was the reason behind the BSV bump, and when his lawyer declares he doesn't have the private keys, then BSV goes down to hell really fast.

Al this was just a market manipulation, someone is using his fork to manipulate markets and get tons of BTC in the move :p
I cannot wait for that day to come, BSV is still trading at a price above 250 and to me that price is simply ridiculous, when he finally has to admit he does not have access to those coins that will be a day in which I will not be surprised if we saw BSV having a flash crash of 50% or more, he will most likely invent a story about why he does not have access to those coins but no one is going to believe him and if we are lucky that will put to rest the debate about whether or not he is satoshi.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Sinking ship or Sleeping Giant? on: January 24, 2020, 05:01:04 AM
The current price of the ethereum is on the dump state. But I am hoping that it is just sleeping and preparing itself to have a bull run like what will happen on bitcoin. For sure when the price of bitcoin rises up, the other coins including ethereum will increase its price also since they are dependent on the market movement of bitcoin.
Just to be clear if ethereum is going to depend on bitcoin skyrocketing to go up in value then it is never going to grow up as everyone is expecting, ethereum needs to begin to move independently or it is never going to reach its all time high again, but since 2017 this has not been the case and people are starting to doubt if this is ever going to happen again and even if it does it will not matter if you are not holding any ethereum at that time.
