Very cool idea - but if you take a look around decentraland as it currently exists, it's pretty poor looking. And dull. I'd like to see something come of this project - but if its current state is what they have managed to acheive after having supposedly been working on it for a good few years now - I just don't see it happening...

There doesn't seem to be any good reason to hold these tokens whatsoever. You can't invest in their ICOs with them. And they offer no real reward. I'll pass.

Other than with cold hard cash, I've also been earning like $5-$10 worth of BTC a day doing surveys. It's a pretty slow and tedious (though easy) way, but I figure over the course of the year (if I stick with it) it will add up.

In a similar boat. Except that after three days of trying to get verified and watching the price rise and rise, I ended up buying at close to $2800 in a mad frustrated panic. Definitely now wishing I'd held out just a day or two, but still confident of future prospects. And nice to now have an at least small stake in it so that watching all the news and developments is more interesting.
