you don't lose money (50K) from an initial investment of 4K.  It is an attention grabbing headline which is false.

The media is also controlled by the Gov't.  Initially anything new and exciting is always
going to have sceptics and naysayers.  It's just a part of the process no matter what it
is.

But I feel especially since this is currency and it is a direct threat to the Gov't
establishment and it cannot be controlled and manipulated people are only going to
point out anything they see as supporting the "negative" light they want it to have.

The promise of this currency is TOO REAL for it to be stopped

The power has been swayed back to what is right and just in economics.

Bitcoin Bible is the project.  Our purpose is to champion the financial power of the common man.  We believe that people should be in complete control of the value that they create and should be able to exchange that value with whoever they want without a central authority that devalues their currency.  Our purpose is to educate and provide resources and training to all about how they can use digital currency to transact in their daily lives.  People need to know how to safely and securely transfer their National Currency into Bitcoins and back easily; and they be able to conduct their daily lives with this new form of value exchange seamlessly.

I'm also another latecomer, but I find this all very interesting.  I did related research in graduate school and now as an engineer I'm looking for ways to get plugged in.  Just doing tons of reading right now :-)

I feel the same way.  I feel like I'm a late comer.  But you really have to look at it this way:  You are an 'Early Adopter'.  Right now with Bitcoin Prices plummeting this is the perfect time to be educating yourself for what is to come.

I despise using paper cash and always noticed this attitude of mine toward the money.  I really have no respect for it.  Add to that, what is happening with Gov't corruption, the devaluing of currencies, the Federal Reserve endlessly printing money, massive bailouts, etc. Bitcoin or whatever digital : that transfers VALUE without outside interference is here to stay.  We are EARLY.  Let's educate ourselves and take back our financial power. Wink

Hello All,

I'm really excited to be part of this new movement.  I've been seeing what is coming down the pipe for the US now and to be honest I wanted to stick my head in the sand and just pretend and hope nothing would happen but I'm afraid that we are at a critical point in which the Federal Reserve is out of control and technology is rapidly advancing giving people more choice and empowerment on how they can exchange value in the marketplace.
