To my surprise, after 1.5 years of normal operation, the hoster blocked my account with a strange phrase "we do not support crypto sites."
The pre-payment for hosting, which I paid for a year in advance, has not yet been returned to me.

So, I looking for the new hosting right now.

getbitcoinblockchain will be not available for some time.

Web server currently offline

https://getbitcoinblockchain{dot}com
Failed to connect to getbitcoinblockchain{dot}com port 443: Connection refused

EDIT: Now getting an almost-empty HTML page

Instead of mandatory payments for password-protected files, like in the examples above, better simply download one for free here: getbitcoinblockchain . com

Fresh blockchain + daily update torrents. Just unpack the contents from the first, bigger blockchain-directory to .bitcoin and then merge it with the updates from the second torrent.

I'm running my node on a raspberry pi 3  Cool

But you should send a tip to the website maintainer.  Smiley

Your welcome  Cool

GetBitcoinBlockchain out of service currently.

Some unclear issues with registrar and hosting. Investigate.

So, I see around 20 seeds and 50 peers right now for that torrent... think it useful?

Should I continue to support this project?

Hello everybody,

Few days ago shit happens for me and due to power failure my Bitcoin blockchain was crashed.
Google not show me any way that can help fast upload actual up-to-date blockchain.

So, I should spend a lot of time to restore my blockchain and get it back to normal functionality.

I think, the situation, when need fast get bitcoin blockchain - happens regularly, so I decided to create service

getbitcoinblockchain {dot} com

to meet this challenge.

Here there is possibility fast and easy download actual, always up-to-date, Bitcoin blockchain via torrent.

Great serivce, kudos to you !    I was looking for a pre August 1st 2017 torrent download of the Bitcoin Blockchain to jump start a Bitcoin Cash (aka Bitcoin-XT, etc. etc.) download.  Could you post a link to this older torrent ?   (Even better, why not maintain it as well for Bitcoin Cash ?  Would you consider this ? )

I have pre-fork coins.

Unfortunately, I don't have blockchain version for Bitcoin Cash

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: August 15, 2017, 08:55:10 AM

I've been using this exchange for a couple of years, but I can not take it anymore.

The reasons? There is are lot:

1. Support. It is almost doesn't exist. I have unanswered ticket that I sent months ago.

2. Website bugs. For example TRADE HISTORY for market trades show empty. Console indicate are lot of this errors:
----------
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'oScroll' of null
    at showMarketLines (plx_marketTables.js:505)
    at resetMatketTableHeights (plx_marketTables.js:152)
    at plx_exchage.js:251
2public.poloniex.com/?command=returnTradeHistory&currencyPair=BTC_ETH Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)
exchange#btc_eth:1 XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://public.poloniex.com/?command=returnTradeHistory&currencyPair=BTC_ETH. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'https://poloniex.com' is therefore not allowed access. The response had HTTP status code 403.
----------

3. API issues. In case of use public API like
https://poloniex.com/public?command=returnTicker
polo indicate something like this
----------

Please complete the security check to proceed.
----------

CAPTCHA for public API ? seriously?

There is no desire to trust money to a service of such poor quality.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: YoBit.Net - CRYPTOCURRENCY EXCHANGE & MultiCoin DICE - Free Coins every 1-24 hrs on: July 06, 2017, 08:36:22 AM
Have same issue with SXC withdrawal "Transfer from cold storage" - more than 12 days!

After 12 days no any reaction from support !!

And right now same "Transfer from cold storage" for XVG

Any suggestions?

Huh

8 Days waiting for simple coin withdrawal - SXC. i know the coin just had a new client released, but there is no reason to delay withdrawals, as the coin itself hasn't changed.

And what'd up with 'transferring from cold storage'? I was trading the coin minutes before, and now I cannot either trade nor withdraw.

I have opened a number of support tickets.

Does anyone know where they are located, under what jurisdiction?
