I have had a quick look at the Litecoin forum thread on this FPGA. I suppose the second hand uses for a machine like this extend well beyond Litecoin mining with it having the FPGA chips and extra RAM on the boards.

Didn't Max Keiser recently state on his show he was trying to set up a Bitcoin exchange in London, England. This I think will be opposed by the City of London banking cartel, but I think he will do it somewhere.

As I kept going to the mining section for software configuration issues it took me a while to find my way to the newbie section and I found out that I couldn't post immediately. Luckily I found everything I needed without having to post, but it could have been a small problem to me.

I think people in parts of the world where electricity is expensive and getting more so will like PPcoin or Peercoin as it is now called. Time will tell if it functions correctly with proof of stake working, but I am willing to give it a go. I was shocked when I measured electricity usage when mining scrypt coins, so I no longer do.

I hope the Bitforce5 products are shipped at least. But other companies seem to be near to offering high GH machines at reasonable prices without taking pre-order money yet, especially in Europe. I am bewildered but spreading my risk.
